Another quick update for Target in San Ramon, CA. This trip consisted of me picking up an online order. I came in the early evening to pick up my items. The pick up area is the left most entrance in case you were wondering where to park. It's also less crowded on this side of the parking lot. Someone was waiting there to do a pick up and I guess he was waiting for a while and luckily someone was putting away some items and we were able to grab them. I guess he was the only one there. But in no time, I got my items. Perhaps it might be nice to have a buzzer or notification for when people are waiting. Maybe there is already one there and the gentleman who was waiting didn't see it. Other than that, it was nice that this particular Target had the items I wanted as other locations were out. Also luckily, I'm here this week for work so it was convenient. Now is it always the best value? Depends on if there's a sale. But some items I've seen online and in other stores are always comparable. So I like to jump on Target Circle rewards when I can which is free to join which is lovely. When I'm in the area and need something from Target, it's definitely a good one to go to. read more

This is overall a good Target to shop at as it is never busy. The service overall this location is good too and its nice its one of the few Targets' left that still has a cafe. So if you're hungry and want to grab a quick bite like a pizza, pasta, or anything that is still on the menu, you can get it here. The selection of stuff to choose from is also really good and the value of what you pay for overall is overall decent. Least the tax is cheaper here compared to most of the other Targets' within the area. The biggest criticism I have with this Target though is the design of the store as it does feel a bit weird at times. But at least it's never too busy and its easy to get a parking space and leave. read more

My husband came to return something. There was one person ahead of him. The wait wasn't too bad. Once he was serviced with the return item, it went pretty quickly. I walked around Target and check out some Christmas stuff. There's wide variety of selections. Some of the Christmas items are 30% off today. I wasn't looking for anything in particular, just browsed. Overall, I like this Target. It is nice and clean and the tax is slightly cheaper than other Target stores at other cities. read more

I wrote a review for this Target over 12 years ago, but I removed it because it was outdated and I recently came back during the holidays and it was nice to see that it's not crowded like the other target in the east bay. It's a bit of a drive from where I live, but I don't mind. I got what I was looking for, and I was out the door. read more

This is 1 of my favorite Targets, but I was disappointed when I went in yesterday. I got there around 10:15am. I went 2 the Xmas aisles & this is the reason why they r getting a 3-star review. They had a whole team of people with boxes everywhere trying 2 stock. I could understand doing this when u opened, but by 9am, the stocking things should b put away & the aisles b free 2 shop in. It was a major pain to maneuver around them & non of the employees acknowledged me or that I was trying 2 get by. Do better!!! read more

Many employees here can't speak english, so cannot assist. They don't have keys to open locked up merchandise, they ignore you and even asking for assistance, they do not help you. When asking for the Manager to try and get something done after several attempts to get staff members to assist, they also just ignore you and tell you: we don't have enough staff, they cut our hours. And they still don't call the Manager. I'll rather take my business elsewhere in future. ZERO stars for this store. read more

Who doesn't love Target?!?! My go to target of choice! Location location location and I pay contra costa county tax... lol That's the key! I typically go early in the morning when everything is laid out nicely and organized. That's just how it is with all retail stores. This store is brightly lit and large. Not cramped in merchandise layout. There's also not 1 but 2 areas for fitting rooms, Yes! Parking is never an issue here, plaza located right off of 680 and The lot at Bishop Ranch across the street. There's never an employee on the floor in that store that can direct you or help you with anything! And the teens come in the store after school and run around the store pretty much making a nuisance of themselves and taking things and no one around to discipline them or get them to leave!? I'm sure security can see that they're stealing and yet nothing gets done about it. So I definitely don't feel comfortable shopping there. read more

I came in for some masks left with $45 garden clippers and some very expensive Spiderman toothpaste. I've got these old rusty crusty garden tools. Its my fault - I constantly leave them out in the rain and then when I go to the Japanese tool store in Berkeley I always forget to bring them to get them sharpened. Last time I was more concerned about getting some Mochi donuts nearby. I was soon distracted from my mission to find some paper masks when I spotted some Spiderman toothpaste in the tooth care aisle. How can you go wrong with Spiderman approved toothpaste? I had just been watching some rerun of Peter Parker on MTV at Famous Daves while enjoying a delicious sandwich. If that doesn't put you in the mood for Spiderman toothpaste nothing will. I had then remembered that I was out of milk. You don't want to be around me when I don't have something to put in my lousy coffee in the morning. I've currently got this overly acidic too-dark-of-a-roast coffee that tastes terrible. You know they say the darker the roast the worse the bean - they aren't joking. I tend to like the half gallon in a paper carton with a plastic round cap on the side. They seem to charge extra for that - or at least only best most expensive organic brand had it. I don't want to fiddle with some heavy duty gallon nor do I want some wishy washy paper carton closure that gets soggy and soft after a few days. The theme of this store is expensive. They do have Tesla charging stations in the rear - maybe they capitalize off those drivers having to kill a few hours nearby. read more

Clean store with lots of available products, huge selection of clothing items, and 8 self checkout registers, along with the regular registers to help with the lines when extra busy. Large amount of parking with many spots that are in the shade. Service: Quick and friendly service with many employees working on floor and upfront, finding items are a breeze now with the remodel with help from these employees. Products in store: Typical Target items, but this location seems to have a larger selection of kitchen appliances/ kitchen accessories that you made need and not wanting to to elsewhere. Electronics section is also very large covering multiple isles as well as toys. Overall, a very well put together Target with many selections to choose from. read more

This target is fine for a lot of other things but not so much the electronics department. Almost everything is locked up and requires an employee's key to open/get the product, which would be fine if there actually were any employees around... on my visit there were not, even after walking around for 15-20 minutes. The "request employee assistance" kiosks littered around the store seem to do nothing as well. There was a total of one employee in the back of the store who was filling pickup orders. Maybe try pickup instead for electronics as it seems the store isn't willing to pay someone to stand over in that section long enough to be helpful. Thankfully the prices are no cheaper than what can be found online. In short, learn from my mistakes and don't bother trying to buy electronics at this store. Things you don't need employee assistance to buy should be just fine. read more

I love that this Target is right next to the Marriott. It makes it incredibly easy to drop in for clothes or other bath items. The store is laid out a bit strangely, and the first few times you come in it's easy to get lost, but it generally gets the job done. Beyond the CVS within the Target generally being bad at keeping certain allergy items in stock, otherwise this location always has the items we need. It also boasts three sets of self checkout stands, on both sides of the store, which is hands down my favorite part, making it super easy to in and out within five minutes and get on with your day. All in all, a definite four star consistently good Target to shop in. read more

Disrespectful employees. I was waiting damn near 20 minutes AT LEAST at the isle for someone to come help open the case and nobody came. I had to walk around looking for a employee and went to a WHOLE DIFFERENT SECTION OF THE STORE. Honestly if I could rate this store 0 stars I would. I am very disappointed with my target experience and will never be shopping at this location again in the future. Obviously they do not value their customers. Since been to plenty of targets before and we'll this one has me wanting to come back! They are stocked up on EVERYTHING. Things yu can't find at other targets it's def here ! I spent a little under $150 when I was just coming to check them out. Heading towards check out my littles got asked by a team member if they liked Gatorade. Of course my littles were like "heck yes" and so the gentleman allowed them to pick a Gatorade out for free. They were shocked! Very quiet and soothing location to shop in. Team members were very professional everyone greeted us as we walked around. They even have a Disney section in the kids aisles. Sadly I was not able to take pictures because my littles were pulling me in different directions but we will be back. read more

What a mess, mismatched sizes, crowed racks, had to navigate with cart- not at all appealing to busy mom shoppers. Do better to show your merch and think about who your customers are. read more

My son was spending time with his friends and a security guard started following my them and soon told them to leave, claiming they were throwing balls around the store. My son felt distressed and worried that he would never be able to come back even with me. It's unacceptable that I can't go to a store with my son and he's worried that not even I can protect him from this man. My son described him in his 30s with slick back hair as well as a bright green vest. I refuse to believe that any store would hire someone like this, please target do something. read more

Take extreme caution when shopping here for anything package fruits or veggies. 3rd time is a charm. Last nigth my daughter fully made a salad for her dinner. Right when she was going to take a bite she noticed some type of worm in her salad. Clearly she had to throw it away and also trashed the rest of the package. This was arugula. But this was not the first time this has happened with arugula packaging. That makes twice this has happened. Their fruits are not much better. Packaged fruits everything looks good on the top but once you start eating and you get down to the middle you can see all the bad fruits that is packaged. Or it has sat too long. Places like Traget and Walmart carry low quality fruits and veggies. you are better off going to a true grocery store or even a place like Windmills Farms. read more

This target has a very wide selection of items! I really love the clothes and the relatively cheap prices. During holidays, they have a good amount of decorations and gift options. I came on Black Friday and there were some good deals. I also really love the Wicked merchandise. Everything is pretty good quality for the prices. The cashier was really nice and patient when we were having trouble with a coupon. Overall, I love the variety of clothes, deals, and the service is great! read more

This Target is gigantic! It's one of the largest ones I been to or maybe it feels that way because of the layout. When you walk in you see the registers and the clothes section, go right and you'll see a massive grocery section that's much larger than most locations. Their beauty and personal care is also so large and spaced out. I don't know why but it feels like the layout here is not as intimate and easy to navigate as other locations. Overall they had what I needed so I didn't experience as many out of stocks as other people and the self check out line is nice. The one con is it is located in a busy area with Whole Foods and home goods and some eateries so sometimes parking is farther than I'd like but most Targets are kinda like that anyways. I wish the clothing area had more mirrors though it felt like I was traveling really far just to find a mirror lol read more

So happy to leave another bad review for this store!! Worst target in history as we all know from previous experience. Today I called to ask a very simple question thinking nothing could go wrong, right?Wrong. I called every single extension 3 times with no one picking up. I had three times where someone picked up the phone and then hung up right away. It's sad that there are people in the world who can get jobs in customer service that behave like this. Compared to my other experiences at this store, this is nothing, but I just felt I needed to let everyone know and just make VERY clear that this store is horribly ran, hires rude and incompetent workers, and deserves absolutely no business. It is stores like this that will ruin target as a brand, they should seriously consider closing this location. So saddening. read more

Hmmm...I am seriously flabbergasted. I reviewed this San Ramon Target a couple of years ago and now poof! It's not here! Something strange is going on here. Anyway, here we go again. This Target is definitely hit or miss. Recently, it's been more misses so I go to the Dublin West Target a lot more. Sure, this store seems a lot bigger, brighter, and nicer. However, the employees aren't friendly at all. A few years ago, I had a very strange, weird, and disturbing encounter with one of the older male cashiers there. I haven't seen him for awhile so he may have retired. He was rude and slowly tried to chase after me as I pointed/motioned that I was going to the CS desk because an employee on the floor told me to go there vs the register one night. Boy was I shocked. He tried to play it off; but, I asked him did he seriously think I would try something if I am a frequent customer and my girls were with me? He said something in Tagalog/one of the dialects to another co worker and smiled awkwardly at me. Not cool! Now, I always have my guard up and senses on high alert. A few months ago at the entrance I saw one of the long time employees say something to a customer as he entered and he went off. I'm not sure what she told him; but, it was another awkward and quite scary situation. Of course, security was absent. If I need something from here; I normally will do a drive up order. That way it's quick and the less interaction with their team members the better at this location! read more

This was my go-to Target when I was growing up. I don't come nearly as often as I used to ever since the pandemic, but I did go today cause I was in the area and I wanted to see if they had something (one time!) that I kind of needed. Parking is never an issue here as there are plenty of spaces. There are two entrances / exits. Charging stations and quick pick-up spots too. I never really have to use the restrooms here, but I'm glad they have them for those who travel. I had to use it this time cause I drank so much water prior to getting there. The restrooms could be cleaner tbh, I was disappointed, but still not terrible. I tried my best to walk fast past anything that caught my eye, lol. I did stop around some home and bath aisles though just to browse. I deliberately didn't take a cart or basket with me. Anything I found I was going to carry in my hands, lol. I haven't been here in a while so I wasn't familiar with the layout of the store. I ended up finding the stationary, pens, organizational area and picked up some colorful post-its, index cards, and randomly found this pack of cards that had these cute puppies on them *cry laughing emoji*... now the real reason why I wanted to stop by was to get the earphone microphone thing we usually get with our iPhones I just didn't know where I'd had placed the box. Since the guy was helping a lady at the counter, I decided to browse the electronics section more... wanted to find what films and cameras they had at the very end and I ended up getting two disposable cameras (I used to buy these all the time as a kid - they're double the price these days), and some more Polaroid film. I normally would buy from Amazon or direct from the brand's site, but since I was there and I did a price check... things would have been around the same price, if not a little more online (Amazon). I still like this Target location. It's big, not cramped. I USUALLY find what I go in there for... there have been a few times where I didn't find products I specifically went there to buy. Sometimes they are out of stock of things where the shelves may look bare, but for the most part... the place does not look run down, dirty, or super messy. I checked out in the electronics dept. Had to buzz someone to get there. The speaker says someone will be there in 60 seconds. I didn't time it, lol but in between my wait, I was pressing the Bose and JBL speakers which blasted music and another guy came through to push the button. 15 seconds later someone came after the 2nd ring. read more

This is one of my preferred Targets to stop by and stock up. The store is usually pretty organized and carts are always available. 1) fresh fruits and veggies are good but stock can be hit or miss. Same for meats. 2) great selection of snacks and sodas 3) if the website or app says they have something, they usually have it in the correct location 4) good selection of clothing sizes Customer service is usually pretty nice at this store which makes me like it over some other locations. They also clean restrooms and an overall clean store. Pro tip: don't turn left into the shopping center from Bollinger. Go one stoplight up and turn left on Bishop Drive. You can skip the parking lot traffic and sneak in next to the store, making a left directly on the side of Target. read more

I generally avoid this target for two reasons: First of all, the parking in the center is terrible. You have to be very careful navigate navigating around the parking lot. It can be a delay trying to get back out to Bollinger. Secondly, the prices in this Target Superstore are actually higher than the prices at the Target in Dublin. I have found they are five or 10% higher on some items, but not all items. I asked the cashier about this and she admitted that on some items they were in fact higher. On the other hand the store is very bright open and cheery. It's actually a pleasure to shop inside as everything is very well organized and properly tagged. The lighting is really excellent. So if you're willing to pay a little more and suffer through the parking delays, this can be a good choice. They're also quite a few restaurants in the immediate vicinity in the center, so you will have lots of options for eating after shopping. read more

The San Ramon Target has been one of our go-to shopping places for essential items during the past two months of Shelter-in-Place due to COVID-19. The parking lot is huge, aisles are wide, store is clean, and yes check-out service is fast and friendly. They do wipe down the carts, which is a plus. My reason for 4 stars is really for their baby supplies - excellent selection and variety. No need to drive all the way to BuyBuyBaby in Pleasant Hill - Target has got us covered. Can't believe how much stuff I bought here: * Bravo Keyfit-30 Carseat and Stroller Combo (super-easy to install) * Motorola Baby Monitor (highly recommended) * Boxes of Pampers Swaddle Diapers and Baby Wipes * Halo Swaddle Sleepsacks (don't use swaddle blankets) * Gerber Onesies (better than Carter's brand) * Dr. Brown Feeding Bottles (highly recommended) * Boxes of Enfamil Neuropro Pre-mixed Formula (a mistake - better to get powder version and mix your own) The grocery and household good are also decent here. I sometimes stock up on Crystal Geyser 1-gal waters and scented diffusers here. Unfortunately, their supply of hand sanitizer and disinfectant wipes are still low the last time I visited... read more

I am giving this Target two stars only because I grew up visiting this location, and it has always been reliable. If it weren't for that, this location would be one-star due to my latest experience there. This location is filthy. There are so many employees, yet there isn't anyone who cleans the store. I used the restroom, and I can't tell you how much fecal matter and vomit were all over the toilets, floors, and walls. There were over five stalls, and only one was 'safe' enough to use. The soap dispensers didn't have any soap, and it smelled like a sewer. I honestly had no idea how a bathroom could get that bad. I almost just held my urine until I went home! There's a sign in the bathroom that says, "if this restroom needs attention, let staff know," but no one seems to care. When it gets to the point of fecal matter and vomit on the floors and walls, it becomes a health hazard... especially if there isn't soap to wash your hands (how are the employees washing their hands?). I was shocked, and I honestly hadn't seen anything like it. read more

Trying to call for an hour. No answer. Pressed the extension for Human Resources, still no answer. No answer for food and beverage, electronics, or the customer service desk. Pathetic. Then, the phone disconnects after 25 rings, so I have to call back. I have one simple question. Does this store carry furniture? Specifically, love seats and side chairs (like you'd see in a livingroom). Pathetic. No one answering the phones. Oooh, I know... I love this Target but every time I purchase salads from this particular Target the lettuce is old and gross. Even checking the date the lettuce is old. It's annoying to open up a mixed salad and not able to eat it. I'm posting this to please fix this issue. read more

After not shopping here for quite sometime I just happened to stop in 2x this month. This store is super bright with excellent lighting. Very nicely laid out. All Targets are big but, this one seems HUGE! I really like the nicer quality and brands here, although it must be said some of the price points are higher than other nearby Targets... I don't want to exaggerate but, it looks like they have 100 cash registers... okay maybe 25! So the lines weren't crazy long, even on a weekend. Like most Targets they have some great clearance sales! Okay now this is where it wasn't great... Parking! No other way to say it, it SUCKS! read more

I like target in general. This location is well organized and quiet. Depending on the time of day, I feel like the parking lot can be full but usually it's not too bad. After their remodel, they do look somewhat nicer and Targets have similar formats anyways. I like that there's self check out here so that's a plus. Inventory here can be hit and missed compared to other stores. I feel like if I'm looking for something, they other targets normally would have it over this location. read more

Yep, I love Target, and this store does not disappoint. It's clean and organized. I'm living in the area now, so I'll be coming here 2-4x/month. So far, I'm more than pleased. The good: ======== * Parking: Plenty of spaces available. * Prices: I am able to find nearly all home goods, casual men's clothing, food items, toiletries and hair products (how else do I look this good? (Ahem), at always, very good prices. * Returns: Lenient policy (Randy likes). * Has a 'Bucks. The not-so-good: ============= * Selection: Well, this is what brings it to a 3.0 rating. The selection is about half of what I'm come to expect. * WiFi: Non-existent, you can't get a signal. The service is Terrible. I got lucky and only one person ahead of me for a quick return. That worked out well however, when I went to pay for some purchases, I had there was not one cashier to check anyone out. You look up and down no one was around. I asked someone and they said they didn't really work there. They were fixing a self check out machine. The girl in the Starbucks said she could help me, but the lady in front of her was ordering so much food and coffee that that was ridiculous. I asked another worker walking by and she said she would check me out. I asked if she was still on a break and she said yes but she had nine minutes left of her break and she was happy to help me. I felt terrible, but Tricia I need to give a shout out that you were wonderful and you even helped the person who had gotten in the line after me! That was so appreciated and was using great customer service and integrity. I then asked for a manager who finally did come and was polite. When I said this was ridiculous that there was not a cashier to help anyone. Then a person who was trying to use the self check, said I have over 10 items and can't check out there . Target, you have good sales and people want to come in and be helped at checkout. Please work on this. Huge store that has a lot of goods. The problem is that if you ate looking for something that you do not buy every day, then you have to spend hours searching for it. It has happened to me twice now that I asked a target worker about products, and they did not know English. They tried to help but without knowing the language, it was difficult. It is beyond my belief that Target does not train them before hiring them. I already know 2 languages but when I came to this country, I learned English too. Now I need to learn Spanish to accommodate Target ??? read more

This Target is amazing! I'm in here at least a few times a week and it's safe to say that they have way more of my paycheck than they should. This store literally has everything. Their clothing section is fantastic, health and beauty is always on point... They even sell alcohol: Lots and lots of alcohol. An extensive selection of spirits and wine, and a decent offering of beer. (But you can't buy it at self-checkout. You have to take it to a register for purchase). The store is always neat and clean, and the staff are proactive and super helpful. Instead of wandering aimlessly looking for help, I have often had sales associates passing by who seemed to notice that I was having trouble looking for something and happily offered their assistance. Despite being in a very busy shopping center with several other popular stores, there is always plenty of parking here. Just don't forget your reusable bags... They're 10 cents a pop here. read more
