This Target is amazing! I'm in here at least a few times a week and it's safe to say that they have way more of my paycheck than they should. This store literally has everything. Their clothing section is fantastic, health and beauty is always on point... They even sell alcohol: Lots and lots of alcohol. An extensive selection of spirits and wine, and a decent offering of beer. (But you can't buy it at self-checkout. You have to take it to a register for purchase). The store is always neat and clean, and the staff are proactive and super helpful. Instead of wandering aimlessly looking for help, I have often had sales associates passing by who seemed to notice that I was having trouble looking for something and happily offered their assistance. Despite being in a very busy shopping center with several other popular stores, there is always plenty of parking here. Just don't forget your reusable bags... They're 10 cents a pop here. read more

Management needs to train employees on where things are located in the store. I asked 4 different employees where something was and none of them had a clue! By the way, I was asking where mouse traps were located. One lady standing there doing nothing in front of the self checkers couldn't even understand what I was saying, had no clue what a mouse trap was. Whenever I ask someone at Safeway or a grocery store where an item is, they know immediately, what section, row and where abouts in that row, left or right side, etc. Employees need to be taught so they are helpful to their customers. Otherwise it is very inefficient and promotes nothing but pure laziness if not learning the store. read more

Like everything else in this center- this store is shiny and new. I was inspired to write my review today because of the exceptional help I received from two employees here today. Caine and Freya both went above and beyond to help me sort out a pickup order. They were both kind and friendly and I especially appreciated Freya offering to call another location for me to try and locate an item. I could see the store was busy but she never made me feel like I was a bother or that she didn't have time to help me. This is a rare occurrence in retail and it did not go unnoticed. The last several visits have been shocking to me. There is so much trash, spills on the sidewalk, and overall poor hygiene on the front sidewalk. iIt didn't used to be like this-- not sure why it has degraded so much? Once inside, the first 5 carts I pulled out to use were filthy with sticky grime and used snack bags. Otherwise, the store is well-stocked, organized and filled with good deals. First time returning an item here, I was harassed by an old lady, balding and with long straight white hair down to her midback at the Customer Service/Return Desk. She said directly to me that there were no sheltering in place and I could've returned my item 2 months ago rather than today. Another customer next to me stepped in to correct that old lady that everyone has been Sheltering In Place since this Pandemic started. Staffs at Target should not open their mouth with the need to inform their customers about Health Regulations when we have the Governor of CA updating us daily. I stop at this Target quite frequently and was very excited when they started the remodel. This has made for a fresh looking store that is inviting and makes it look like an upscale store as opposed to a cleaner Wal-Mart type of shopping experience. The selections of products has been expanded and I am excited to see some new brands of cosmetics and women's athletic apparel. The home furnishings area is just gorgeous now and the overall feel of the store is much more inviting. The areas where the store is still lacking thought is customer service while you are shopping, you have to seek out associates. The restrooms always leave something to be desired. They tend to be dirty and quite smelly even though the cleaning sheet on the door shows that they have been cleaned recently. read more

I'm going to do far less order pickups at this Target. I receive much better service at the one on Amador. I've done order pickups where I've gotten food that expires in two days, I ordered two items to get the same item from two different brands. Now I should have gotten two packs of six sponges each. Instead I received a pack of six and a pack of four. It is not worth dealing with these inconsistencies. You shouldn't have to come home, open the bag and realize they ripped you off. read more

I NEVER liked shopping here. Everyone seems so unhappy there and looks like they would rather be somewhere else. I shop at Walnut Creek location and feels very different. Racist Target. Racist! I came in to return an item i didn't have my printed receipt because the cashier forgot to give it to me. The PM manager a short lady with black shoulder length hair kept entering the receipt number wrong assuming I was trying to make a fraudulent return. She said if I could get my receipt emailed then she could return the item. I had my receipt printed from the store of purchase. I called Target and they confirmed the receipt number was correct. Her and her associates went to the back and started talking about me. I hate this store. They won't get my hard earned black dollars anymore. Ever since they made changes to this place it went from my favorite store to the store I try to avoid. The layout doesn't flow well, it's dark up front where the workers used to be to check you out, and the overall vibe of the store is all wrong. I can ignore the teen workers kicking merchandise around, the kids occasionally playing ball or riding bikes in the aisles but I can NOT ignore the loud music target plays. I go to other Targets around the Bay Area to avoid this one. It reminds me of the Target near Disneyland and that's bad. read more

I ran into this location for a few items last night. I was so impressed by employee diligence in keeping everything they could clean. Walking in to find carts that had been wiped down with disinfectant, proper distancing at the checkout and checkers safely interacting with guests as well as wiping down the entire conveyor belt and payment key pad between guests was much appreciated! I'd still like to see a little more organization of product aisles at this location. It's a little confusing trying to find some things between cosmetics and cleaning. But overall it was a safe experience, which is paramount at the moment. read more

This is my favorite Target location, by far. It has an expansive layout and contains more items that at other nearby Target stores. The customer service that I received here was amazing! When I called in looking for a difficult to find item, Isabella helped me to find what I needed. She took 20 minutes to look for the exact product while I waited on the phone! I didn't mind being on hold the whole time because I knew that she was searching for it in the store since it was the last one in stock! It was easy to drive over to pick it up since she placed it at Guest Services, where Sylvia and another cashier were working. They made it simple to exchange the incorrect item that I had previously purchased for the correct item that I needed. And they did it all while being friendly, kind, and courteous. They were even smiling and laughing! I really felt like a valued customer. They also called out Isabella to me when she passed by so that she could be acknowledged in person. It felt like they all really enjoyed working together as a team : ) I would absolutely drive 10 miles to this location rather than shop at a nearby location if the customer service experience is like this! read more

This is the worst target I've ever been to. The cashier was on her cellphone instead of paying attention to ringing us up. Super disappointed. Shelves are still not stocked yet the app claims the store has 4-5 items. Yet the shelves are trashed, not organized and barren. Remaining Items are opened and then thrown back. Management here is awful. I'm at the Starbucks inside this target and the women working there is ALONE but so nice and doing everything she can to get us our drinks fast. Only for this man to come up and asked who was working their cafe and she was put on both Starbucks and their cafe. He then has the audacity to say "well you know you have three customers at cafe" Like? She was still respectful but man I wanted to say sir are you blind she has customers here as well and you expect her to do both? I felt awful just knowing how it feels since I work too. I'd ask them where items were and was hurriedly dismissed saying they didnt have it. I has asked where rubber bands were and was dismissed the same. Found them in the school supplies section. I wish I could give this store zero stars the employees are rude and unhelpful, today they didn't give me my bag discount forgot to ring up my red card coupons wallet deals because they forgot to scan my app, why put these things out there for customers to use if you can't train your employees to make sure to follow the instructions to use them. Also can you please teach your employees how to pack a bag if I get home and have my bread or chips on the bottoms one more time I'm going to lose it. The store got a nice new remodel you might want to not remodel your employees with some updates training. And again on a Sunday afternoon 2 registers open and managers standing around watching the lines grow but doing nothing about it. After working in customer service for over 20 years I'm appalled that any company wishes a store to run the way this one does. Such an inconvenience ordering through the online pick up order system. Don't do it. They won't have your items ready and will tell you to go find them in the isle yourself or you can cancel your order. Is that how online pick up ordering is suppose to be? A waste of time and money. I'll choose other stores that can actually follow through with my order and have it ready, unlike my experience today with Target. I was initially excited that a target of this size is so close to my house, but sadly it's just ok. I have come here many times and it's a pretty consistent experience. The selection here is not very good and the shelves are never fully stocked. They must have a theft problem because the $3.00 Ardell lashes are locked up. I wanted to get some eyelashes but not that bad that I wanted to flag someone down to come unlock them. Pretty ghetto. On the plus side it is in a convenient location with plenty of parking, has a Starbucks inside and sells alcohol. read more

They hardly restock on sizes so when I go in most of the time all they have the same pants all in the same size. I never come here and find my size. They are sold out of xs/small EVERYTIME I have come to this location. I have never walked out of this target happy. Buyers beware. When shopping at target make sure you are rung up at the price on the shelf. Three of my items rang up at a higher price and if you don't pay attention it will not be corrected. I was looking for a specific folding chair and it was no longer sold online through the website but some locations had inventory to do store pickup. When I made the order, I wanted a quantity of 6 split between different locations in the Bay Area, 2 of which were supposed to be from San Ramon Target. After placing the order, the San Ramon Target ended up not having 2 in stock and modified my order to 1. I still needed the chair so I drove to pickup the 1 folding chair. When I was picking up the order, the Target employee realized that it was damaged with a missing wooden piece in the back and it should have been checked before fulfilling my order to a 'Ready for Pickup' status. I understand that mistakes happen but definitely not a great feeling for a customer that has wasted time to drive there to leave empty handed. The Target employee, who I am assuming is the manager, tried her best to try to check their inventory and if there was any other way to get me the item. In the end, it was a dead end but she gave me a $5 gift card for my trouble which was appreciated. The only saving grace of giving this place 2 stars was her customer service and empathy for poor judgment of the employee who picked my item from the floor that was clearly damaged & unusable. read more
