Support local businesses. Good guy wants to sell his comics and cards and isn't like that whack comic store in concord.

Small but nice shop. Their Pokemon pack pricing is very reasonable and they were friendly when we stopped by.

Besides the free comic book, the owner has booked a Smash Bros truck, a smashed burgers truck. We tried it, and the burgers were good!! They're really helpful. They have a few long boxes set up in the front with 1 dollar comics and 5 dollar graphic novels in the front of the store. Singles are kept in the 1$ long boxes which include a lot Marvel, Image, Valiant, Ultraverse comics from the 90s, you'll also find some DC and vertigo titles as well. Sifting through these boxes gave me flashbacks of when I was a comic collector in the 90s. Towards the back left and back wall of the store, you'll find shelves of graphic novels, omnibus, and other collected editions. Back issues are set up on a large table in the back. You can find a mixed selection of different titles from Silver age to modern. I found surprising inventory of certain title runs. I have a bit more exploring to do in this store. Crush carries good comic storage stuff - boxes, bags and boards (BCW brand) on the right side of the store.

I've visited this store about four times now, and unfortunately, each visit left me with the same…read moreimpression. First, the customer service is not great. I don't expect owners or employees to act like best friends with every customer, but basic friendliness goes a long way. A simple greeting, a smile, or even a respectful tone would make a difference. Every time I came in, I tried to say hello with a smile, but I was usually met with cold shoulders, blank looks, or no response at all. I've seen mixed reviews from other people, so maybe experiences vary, but from what I personally noticed, customers seem to be treated differently for reasons I can't quite put my finger on. Second, the language used by the staff/owners was uncomfortable. I brought my nephews with me, and there were also other families with kids in the store. The workers or owners didn't seem shy about throwing around curse words, including f-bombs, in front of everyone. I understand this is not a children's store, but if kids and families are present, it really should not be that hard for grown adults to keep it professional for a few minutes. At one point, I exchanged looks with another parent, and we both clearly felt the same way. Lastly, the pricing is disappointing. They do have some rare figures, but many of them are overpriced even when you factor in shipping from online sellers. The loose figures were also poorly packed and still expensive, which makes them hard to justify. Overall, the prices felt pretty close to eBay, sometimes without the convenience or buyer protection that online shopping offers. Maybe this place is worth checking out if you live in the Bay Area and want to avoid shipping, but based on my visits, I don't see a strong reason to come back. Experiences like this are exactly why online stores continue to thrive.

Best for Walmart plus home delivery…read more I've shot this market many times but in recent years I have switched to delivery using the Walmart plus app. For about a $100 A year, this is a great deal. Nevertheless, they occasionally make mistakes and forget to leave certain bags. Of course, that being somebody else gets my groceries. The app lets you get a refund without any issue but it is annoyingl. Shout out to the pharmacy that is a standard of excellence.

Unlike a normal Walmart which is more like a retail store. Or a super Walmart that is both a supermarket and a retail store. This one is just more a supermarket feel than anything else. The reasons though why I am giving this Walmart such a bad rating is because it suffers from the same problems as most Walmarts. From having a very dirty and unsanitary feeling. The floors are extremely dirty and not clean, the bathrooms same problem are not very clean and always smell really bad, and of course the service is not good like most Walmarts. As for food options, it's what you'd expect at a Walmart. From mostly foul and not good quality produce, to meat that isn't good quality and likely to go bad in a short amount of time, to also being a bit overpriced even for a retail store. The only reason I am giving this store a 2 not a 1 star is because at least, it sells products that you can't get anywhere but Walmart rather its at a normal Walmart or Neighborhood Market. Such as the Cazo De Oro Tortilla chips, to specific juices to so much more. But I still prefer to shop elsewhere than Walmart.

The location itself was a little tricky to spot since there are no guides or labels outside? They just have a single stand saying the times? Which means they are betting on fans to just come on by and no local interactions like most firms Addressing the inside, it's just a small simple place. Room for events on the bottom if people are into those, and a well organized store on the top? They have official merchandise of various games featuring ZZZ. The prices here are direct and fair so there isn't any price gouging like what is usually seen at Anime Conventions? Plus they have a mini point system based on purchases, I'm eager to see what else can be done with it? At the moment, I am certain this is the only or one of the very few locations to buy this kind of merchandise ( Excluding Conventions ). It must also be mentioned this isn't an Anime goods area, it caters to cultured gamers of specific titles? Just a fun small place to get your official goods of specific "titles."

I'll say it again and again. I always love it when business owners are enthusiasts and lovers of…read morewhat they do, especially if it's something somewhat more "niched" such as an anime/hobby shop. To see the owners here being BIG BIG fans of the titles that they carry is truly heartwarming and shows the dedication that they have for what they do and for what they do for their patrons. Not only is this an anime shop, but the downstairs area is used for community and fandom themed events! LOVE this. It's always amazing when there is a space dedicated for fans to convene together and share the things that they love. When I visited last winter, the space was dedicated to Tears of Themis and each "section" was decorated, curated, and themed very carefully to each male love interest which shows not only dedicated effort, but the fact that the people who set it up are familiar with the series. Cannot get better than that. AND I HAVE TO SAY, even though the shop is only the second floor, it is HANDS DOWN the LARGEST selection and variety of HoYoverse and YoStar series goods that I have seen in SoCal. Hell, might even be a bigger selection than if you combined SoraGumi, Sakura Anime Toys, Anime Station, Animate, etc. There were SO MANY Arknights good it was insane. Some of them were event limited items too. They had these huge acrylics of the characters and artbooks and so many more than I have seen elsewhere. It was also blind boxes galore for character tags, keychains (some blind box series were for only ONE character- it was W here which is a huge W), and much more like stickers and plushies. Stickers I haven't seen elsewhere and plushies in limited stock at other shops. If you are into any of the HoYoverse series such as Genshin, Honkai, Zenless Zone Zero etc. There is rows and rows of merchandise for that including and not limited to stickers, keychains, acrylics, plushies, accessories, bags, and so much more. They also had the biggest collection of Tears of Themis items too. I usually only see ToT stuff at most be acrylic stands, some stationary, keychains, and maybe a plushie or a perfume thing, but they had WAY more here, including birthday boxes for each of the boys, blankets, calendars, albums, cheki storage and so much more. Additionally, hands down, the MOST Azur Lane merchandise I have seen for sale physically in person too. And a note to add, the owners were such big fans they made the trek to SoCal to go to the maid cafe collab event? If that's not a showing of their dedication and love for what they do, I'm not sure what is. But back to the review, they had stuff I haven't seen before such as blankets, calendars, and drinkware. Other series that they have available are Wuthering Waves, Infinity Nikki, and for all you GIRLIES OUT THERE, LOVE AND DEEP SPACE! They even recently had a LaDS (cat boy??) themed event there too, complete with cardboard cut outs for photos. They also do preorders for goods too, which is very nice. I can't say I'm the biggest fan of these series but it is DEFINITELY worth a stop if you are in the Bay Area.
