This review relates to a project when business operated as All Video Solutions. In 2023 I placed an order for TVs and internet in a backyard entertainment area. I was required to put down a deposit of $45,000. Internet wiring done. When it came time to install the TVs etc I learned the deposit was used elsewhere in the business. No materials were ordered and the company could not complete the project. I then engaged another company. To date (April 2026) I have not been able to get a refund. The owner Tom George is not truthful about the reasons for the delay. For months it was "funding coming and I'll pay you next week." Since October 2025 I have heard nothing from him and he does not respond to my texts any longer. read more

I contracted with Mark Benson and his team a year or so ago to install TVs, a while house wireless network, and surround sound in a few rooms. The consult and install were great. We couldn't be happier. Where things started to fall apart is when I needed to change things on my network. The customer service was horrible. It would take days to weeks to MONTHS to get a response. Incomplete responses at that. I called every number I had and spoke to anyone who would listen, even the owner Tom. Still no resolution. All I want to do is add and remove devices from my network. Simple stuff. Things that are basic with most modern networks, yet no one seems to know or care about solving my problem. The sad thing is that I'm a network professional and I gave specific instructions for what I needed hoping that if I walked them through it I could get what I needed. Still crickets. I had considered using them again to add more tech but not anymore. Sad that the support has put such a stain on the company. read more

I have know Mark Benson and company for maybe ten years or more and purchased various components. Recommended him to may of my buddies and they have all been very happy. He understands gear and I considered myself a gearhead...my last purchase from was a Sony ES receiver and it has been perfection with my Vintage Heritage Klipsch speakers. I am sure people have concerns sometimes but like anything Home Theaters and the equipment that you are using all have complexities and opportunities. I had multiple set-ups and many high-end pieces and still always leary about making things overly complicated. Several months ago, I took my 55" Samsung LED Smart TV to this store. They charged $75 for diagnostics. That was fine. However, post-diagnosis, the total repair cost was quoted as $422 (including the initial $75). They also said I could buy a new TV from them if I did not want to trust the replacement parts and a repaired TV. That was too much for me to pay. The diagnosis was about replacing an internal circuit board and if that did not work, then about replacing another circuit board. I paid $75 and brought the TV back home without repairs. Last week, finally I took things in my hand. I opened the TV and saw that there were only those two circuit boards at the outset. And the connectors to the circuit boards were very easy to attach/detach. Then I searched on ebay about the part and could purchase the part for only $66 online. I replaced it without needing anything more than basic screwdrivers and in 15 minutes. The TV started working well. I saved 422 - (75 + 66) = $281. I was wondering if the labor cost to replace a circuit board was as high as $281 for merely a 15 minute job + the time they would take to order parts online. That was not justifiable. But I guess that's where they make their money and otherwise they wouldn't be able to afford to have a shop/office like this. My 3-star rating is because they didn't do anything more than suggesting to replace those circuit boards. I thought they would repair the board, but they don't seem to have that expertise. read more

Repair for a Sony XBR 60 inch TV. Satisfied customer. Called Today at 9am, repair tech arrived at 10:45am. Clearly explained to me over phone that a $75 diagnostic fee is required to troubleshoot. My TV exhaust fan failed (it cools the 300watt bulb) Tech was able to replace the part immediately (not often the case since parts have to be ordered) Parts and labor for a TV 4 years old can easily be more than the device is worth. My repair bill was about $225. I will be able to get a few more years of usage from my Sony XBR2. I wish the bill was closer to $150 but the speedy service and prompt problem solving meant that I could continue with my work day. Time is money. I did attempt to remove cover and clean the fan to resuscitate it but alas it just needed replacing. Its always a good idea to get an estimate for the repair before they proceed with the work. Your net cost should be $75 to get to this point. Money well spent for me. They also do new TV installs. read more

I found All Video Repair on Yelp, of course. We had a problem with our older projection type t.v. and were reluctant to attempt to get it repaired because these things are almost always never cheap. We gave in and decided to try and squeeze another year outta this beast. I purchased a Yelp deal after speaking with John and arranging an appointment. As usual with this type of work, we had a 4 hour window of waiting time for the repair person to show up. John had guessed the person would arrive about 9:30 because I was the first appointment set for that day. Lee, the repair man, didn't arrive until 10:30, but that's ok. I had used this as an excuse to take the morning off from work. We had an air filter message that was prompting us to call for service and the t.v. would shut down 1 minute later. Lee had correctly guessed that the air filter was probably fine and that it was a software glitch. He was in and out in 30 minutes which left me with 2 hours to chill before work. So, I watched a little t.v. of course and quickly caught up on True Blood. I was very satisfied with the service I received from All Video Repair. My 65" rear projection CRT died and I called All Video Repair. After speaking to Rob on the phone, he scheduled a senior tech (given how old the TV was) to come out to take a look at it. The service call cost $95, but the amount is credited towards the price of repairs or a new TV purchased through them. I took advantage of a Yelp special they had where they sold $100 voucher for $50! After they gave me the estimate, I decided it wasn't worth repairing given the age of the TV & cost, but I was very pleased with All Video Repair's service. Everybody I encountered was very professional. I would definitely contact them again if I ever had any other TV issues. read more

What an honest way to run a business! When I took my DVD player to them for an estimate on repair, they told me that it seemed like the actual laser was malfunctioning and that they could fix it, but honestly it would be more cost effective to buy a new one. They didn't even charge me for the advice or time spent. I would definitely take my business here in the future! read more

Bill, the owner of All Video Repair, has done a tremendous job in facilitating the repair of my 5 year old plasma and even manage to save me an extra $492 in the course of their findings. I originally dropped off my 55 inch monster of a plasma tv to have the power supply checked out, once checked out they gave me a fair rate and even discounted their labor for the install of the power supply. Once replaced they had a problem with one of the boards that was $492 and they were able to expertly repair the fine line cracks in a few of the solder spots. Long story short, great value, great service, Id recommend them to anyone. Saved me from having to buy a 3k tv again. read more

After purchasing my home, I started looking for someone who could wire it up with category cable and install network drops both inside and outside. I've had some wild quotes of upwards of $4,000 but when I got a hold of Mike B, he was in complete and utter disbelief. Mike took initiative, walked me through the process, walked my house and gave me the worst case scenario cost which was way below any of other quotes I got. On the day of the install, his techs were courteous, professional and most importantly - quick; instead of two days they did everything in one day and saved me a bunch of $$$! After the install was done, I had them come on a different day to hang my TV and again - super clean job with no hassle; heck - I even got a refund because of how quickly the job was done (and no - no corners were cut). They designed a very price competitive theater system that matched exactly what we needed for our sized room. Okay, I didn't actually get anything fixed here, so I couldn't, in good conscience give them 5 stars. What I DID do, was call to see about getting my camcorder fixed. I told him what it was doing, (or not doing), and then he amazed me. He actually told me "about" what he thought it would cost to fix, and what he thought was likely wrong with it. Of course I know there is no guarantee, but at least I knew what the ball park looked like. He then continued his assault on todays standard business practices by telling me that, depending on what I was using the camcorder for, it may be more practical to simply buy a new one and then shared the benefit of his experience by suggesting some of the better brands, apparantly, they all add that damned extra 10 pounds. So I don't know how good he is at actally FIXING things, but you can be sure that this is the first place I take the next thing that needs work...well, the next electronic thing anyway. read more

These guys truly rock. As you can imagine the wife and I had a bit of concern about installing a 60" flat screen above our fireplace as a flush mount with all the cords hidden out of sight. Bottom line is they have to put holes in the walls as if our real estate values haven't fallen enough, hence our concern. They quoted a very reasonable flat rate and spent as many hours as it took to accommodate all our needs. That included installation of all our other components into a new cabinet. When there was a question about what "we wanted" they always brought us into the consult rather than just do the easiest and quickest option for them. These guys knocked our socks off! My husband and I are very happy with their work wall-mounting our flat screen TV and installing three front wall speakers and two rear ceiling speakers. I even think it looks flat-out *pretty*. If high quality work doesn't sound impressive enough, then read on: Awesomeness #1: Flexible We had a single week available to do the work prior to move in, and they not only managed to do it, but on very little advanced notice AND they worked around the guys painting the inside of our whole house during the same week (including the room they were working in). Awesomeness #2: Smart We have a slab foundation and a second floor AND the tv/speakers are across the hall from the components. Other AV people told us they would be swiss-cheesing the ceiling or tearing up the upstairs bathroom floor to gain access, but these guys only had to cut one additional hole that required patching, and they threaded everything either through a hole in the garage or the speaker/tv holes which would be covered up. Awesomeness #3: Honest This might not sound like an asset, but I value it: when they accidentally cut into a pipe in the wall, they not only repaired it immediately, tested it a number of times, and documented it on our invoice, but they told us they would come back to fix it if we experienced any trouble with it. Mark was our initial contact and house visit for an estimate and we were quite happy with him as well as the two guys that actually performed the work -- all very capable. read more

I was charged $70 before they would even look at my video camera. Since I did not hear from All Video for three days, I gave them a call, and left a message. They did not call me back. I called again and the individual told me the estimate to repair the camera. The camera repair was higher than a new video camera! I picked up the camera without their repair. Again, moving issues. Apparently my friends are good for nothing (and I mean that in a completely loving way lol)- and no one knows how to dismount a flatscreen tv from a wall. DAMN. I have to find someone to do it. I probably could have done it myself- I'm pretty darned handy, but my move was progressing quickly and I didn't have time to mess around. Thank goodness for corporate expense reimbursements - yay, mileage $$ will pay for this extra service. ;p These guys are awesome. Spoke with John first, then Jesse, then Robbie, then John got back to me- was able to move things around and have it done before my movers came later that day. Zach called ahead to let me know he was on his way, showed up, was professional, handled everything with care, took my PERSONAL CHECK (again, that makes me happy at times that people can see my pretty checks :)), honored the yelp offer- quick & easy, less than 30 min. Wow, this place has some GREAT filtered reviews, what a shame. I would hate to think Yelp is being biased. When my 8 year old big screen TV went on the blink, I had the choice of fixing or replacing. I spoke with Mark and he knows his stuff. I now have a beautiful Sony flatscreen, nothing fancy, but the price and customer service was great! I am a very happy & satisfied customer of Pro Home Systems. Finally! I can stream Netflix without interruption and my son can play his Xbox without interruptions. Kevin Vawter is a very professional and knowledgeable person and my installer Jeremy was super knowledgeable in everything technology. I was able to eliminate all of the redundancy in my home. I had spent hundreds of dollars on wireless devices to setup all of my T.V.'s, tablets, computer and game console that did not work very well (speed & connectivity). I was about to accept that was the way it was always going to be until I met Kevin. He was able to troubleshoot my home setup and what Pro Home Systems could do to maximize my connectivity. Shady business: they committed to do a security camera installation job for me under very specific guidelines, and a week later - just a couple days before the project start date - they called me to change the agreed upon start date. Their next shady move was to send Mark over to "inspect" the property where the agreed upon project was to be performed. I should mention that the "inspection" visit was completely unplanned - I got called half hour before Mark arrived to my property. Upon inspecting the property, sure enough, more excuses and attempts to try to increase a fixed price -which had been agreed upon the previous week. Mark apologized -as is the time he made me waste could be compensated by his apology. Needless to say I fired these guys before they started anything on my property. I then found another company which offered me a great price and excellent service. I would not recommend this business to anyone. They talk the talk but they can't walk the walk. Update: 5 stars all the way, the All Video team did another great job on our home theatre project. Matt and Scott came over to install our new TV and soundbar, we love it! The quality of the installation is outstanding and we are confident that our TV won't come crashing down unexpectedly (which happens if the job isn't done right - importance of finding the studs). I have used All Video Repair for home service on my old TV. I have since bought a DLP rear projection flat screen that used a lamp (bulb) that needs to be replaced every few years. I called All Video Repair and spoke to Bill and he had the lamp I needed. He gave me a discount on the lamp since I was a repeat customer and also I was able to use the yelp coupon promotion $70 for $100. With that being said I saved $140! I went to pick up the lamp at their store and was promptly taken care of and met Bill too. They also sell TV's, speakers and surround sound systems as well. When my Vizio TV started acting up, I called Vizio and they referred to their authorized repair company. And they refused to fix my TV. I called All Video and they agreed to inspect it for a nominal fee. They did and told me it is repairable. They took a few weeks to finish the work as the part was hard to find (T-Con board) and the TV's been working well past 8 months. Thanks All Video for saving me from having to buy a new TV. They didn't follow up and keep me posted as well as I'd like. Like they will tell me that they will have update in a week and I won't hear back at all. And I had to call to find out. I hope they improve on that front. read more

I can't say enough about the wonderful experience I had with All Video. I stopped by on my way to a yoga class. The ladies in the office were delightful and told me Mark Benson would call me. When I got out of my yoga class an hour later - I had a message from him! We set up an appointment for him to look at my stereo equipment that I felt might be too old to have installed. He called the day of the appointment to confirm and update me on his arrival time - something I really appreciate. This type of professionalism and customer service is what I look for in a company I'm going to work with. Just had a bunch of stuff delivered by Dave & Co. The new Sony TV is big and heavy; they brought it in, unpacked it and attached the stand. Even took the huge box it came in away. I like to do the connections, but Dave was very helpful with my questions. I appreciate the fact that he always responded quickly through email, or answered the phone. I also feel he steered me in the right direction as far as selecting complementary products. I've bought electronics from them before and will continue to do that. They stand behind what they sell. For example, a few years ago, I had a problem with one channel with my amp. I brought it in and they not only sent it back, but got me upgrades on all the channels. Plus, Glen loaned me an amp until mine was fixed. This is why I go to Pro Home -- it's the service and experience they provide. I prefer that to a big box store for my audio and video needs. Owner Mark Benson called and was upset how I was handled, wants to make things right. Test the remote to see how it works or if it does, replace the remote or replace the whole system. This is the correct way to handle this for sure, not trying to sell me a $300 remote. I think this system, or at least the Current Audio Sound bar is junk. Might want to stay away from this product, even though it was touted as an exceptional system. I apologise All Video, except for the latest incident, they have tried to polish this turd a few times. A polished turd is still a turd. Hopefully this will be the last time, maybe a whole new sytem is the way to go. I had a Bose Lifestyle system 20, the first they ever made, lasted over 12 years with no problems. Still might be rolling along in my old house. GO BOSE! read more

I got a camera system installed in my home some time back. I bought the cameras and the NVR from Mark. The camera is a good quality one. I paid full price for it, and I have no complaints about it. This review is about the installation experience. 1) All Video's quote was the highest, I went with them because they promised a professional installation. One of the guys who came did not even know how to crimp an Ethernet cable which is installation 101! Not to mention a hole he created in my closet because he drilled in the wrong place. Charge $100/hr for a couple of kids who freaking don't know how to crimp an Ethernet cable, c'mon! 2) One of the cameras was not connected properly the first time. So they said they will come back a second time. The Ethernet cable from the camera to the NVR was incorrectly installed, so there was nothing wrong with the wiring in the house. It took them 3 ties to get that working. Again, 3 tries is not the problem. It is the stuff around it which is not kosher. 3) The installation was not even complete and the company charged me almost $500 more than the quote (for extra hours) without any explanation or even seeking a signature and that I agree with the additional charges. 4) One of the two installers was fiddling with DDNS for about 3 hours talking to the camera manufacturer's customer service. Out of which he spent maybe 15-20 mins programming TCP/UDP port in my Wireless router. Mark D. lied to me that this dude was fiddling with the Wireless router, not the camera. I was in the closet with the installer since I knew what antics these guys were upto, so I know exactly what the guy was doing. I expect a "professional" to be proficient in how to work the equipment they are selling. 5) And this last one is the worst - the installer was installing Windows updates on HIS laptop when he is on the clock charging me $100/hour. Can you believe this crap? Please find someone else. These guys are not cheap which is fine if they do a great job. But they have their hands rifling in your pockets, sucks! And DO NOT give them your credit card before the work is complete. I know some of the technical stuff because I work for a Bay Area networking company. I am not a professional installer, which is why I hired these guys. read more

Mark who came to my home was pleasant on time and kind enough to give me a call when he was near my home so I could just pop over rather than take a bunch of time off waiting for someone. A quick efficient estimate was given and he was able to squeeze in my installation before Thanksgiving which was great even though it was a challenge to get my estimate in advance of my appointment. The technician arrived within the window specified and got the work done in an hour less than my quote anticipated and he was very polite (although he dinged my t.v. in the living room and didn't say anything) it looks nice and seems to be working great. I took a star off for the ding on the t.v. and the time it took to get the estimate (which I had to chase down) but overall it was a good experience and I would recommend them. I had a 40" TV and sound bar mounted and installed above my fireplace. All Video Repair came out and gave an estimate for the work. It was a bit on the high side, but with the experience, reputation and expertise they have I thought it would be worth it. And it was. The installers were very friendly and professional. They mounted the TV and soundbar perfectly and ran the wires and HDMI cables behind the wall, installed an electrical outlet, and connected the soundbar and the TV to the cable service. It was a very clean job. The installation had a few bumps along the way but the team solved all the issues as they came up, and got the job done right. There were a couple administrative problems that occurred along the way. But the owner, Bill, actually reached out to me and apologized and refunded some of my costs to make things right. In my view, everyone makes mistakes, it's no big deal - but it's how you handle your mistakes which determines what businesses are looking out for you, and which are only concerned with their bottom line. Bill seems genuinely concerned with the customer's satisfaction and he made things right with me and turned me into a happy customer. I'm sure he will do the same for you. This is a good company with great technicians, Their labor pricing is a bit on the high side in my opinion, but you will be very happy with the work they perform. So you get what you pay for. In past years, I've learned the hard way that when it comes video or electronics installation, it's wise to get it done right the first time. All Video gets it done right. read more

Dropped our tv last week since it wasn't working...they told us they will call on Friday and let us know what the issue is and how much it's going to cost to repair...come Friday no update no call...we called them and the guy who answered was casual about it and was like mmmmm I think our technician called in sick so we will give you an update on Monday....waited Monday till 4:45 pm again no call no update....called them...oh we haven't got to your tv yet but we will today.. So far haven't had any good customer support!!! read more

My wife calls me this morning saying that the bulb in our Sony LCD just burned out. I called All Video and spoke to Dennis, who told me that they had the replacement unit in stock. I drove to their easy-to-find location in Dublin and walked right in. Robbie was there to help me close out my transaction. Fast, friendly and efficient. Can't really ask for more. Next time, I'm just going to go there to give their home theater room a demo.
