All Video recently mounted my two year old 50 inch plasma above my fireplace. I worked with the owner Bill and his son. Bill provided excellent advice and several bids to choose from. I ended up purchasing a few components from them although i initially intended to use my old equipment. Bill provided me with options that worked within my budget and greatly increased the quality of my home theater set up. The install went perfect, they were able to complete the job within 3 hours in a very neat and professional manner. They ended up only cutting only a very small hole in my wall for the wiring which was an excellent surprise. I highly recommend Bill and his company for anyone looking for home theater installation. Okay here is an update on my last review. Mark from All Video called me and asked me how they could improve their customer service. I gave him my take on what needed improvement (mostly the communication), and he said that they would address it. I recently moved in to a new home and purchased my TV from an unnamed retailer. I had their Geek Squad come out to give me a quote for installation and components and was floored by their quote so I bought all of the components on Amazon. I then looked around for alternatives to do the installation and came across All Video on Yelp. Although my job was going to be relatively small because I had all the components they worked with me and gave me a very reasonable quote. I ended up returning the speakers that I purchased online from All Video. If I had to do it all over again I would have bought everything from them. They were competitive and far cheaper in the end than the Geek Squad quote that I was given. I have no problem recommending All Video Repair. read more

They took the time to show me and explain in detail what the problem was and let me know the cost to fix it. We had recently had our flat screen LCD TV go on the fritz. There was some short or a loose circuit because the TV blew out the volume control. Also the TV would intermittently turn off or if you cycled the channel; the next component would not have any volume. We had bought a new TV, but we still needed this one since it was in working condition. We only bought it about 5 years ago and had never had a problem until recently. With that being said, our TV was an Olivea and not a lot of places heard of it. Wifey found a place in Dublin and we called for a price quote. It was $75.00 for an initial diagnosis and then that would towards the labor if you decided to have them work on the TV once they figured out the problem. I dropped it off over the long weekend and they were able to determine the problem relatively quickly. They told me that the Volume circuity was loose and they had to replace the part. The labor and parts came out to $297.00 but they told me that the initial $75.00 went towards the bill. Clement, the fellow who helped me; suggested that I print out a coupon on the website and that they would knock the price down another 20%. All in all it came out to $150.00 after all the discounts and it works like a champ. The place takes credit cards and they also sell TVs and audio equipment. read more

Big shout out for this great shop! They fixed my 50" LG plasma - the picture is beautiful again (maybe even better than ever). They re-soldered the x-sus board and gave it a good check up, tightening up loose connections, etc. A $200 repair sure beats spending $800+ to get a new TV of this quality and... I didn't add to the landfill unnecessarily. If you can't bring your TV in, they do in-home repair, pick up and deliver. They were very professional, informative, and kind. Honest & Professional! I was having an issue with my Samsung DLP. Robbie was quick to find an appointment for me. I thought it was either the lamp or the color wheel and shared that with Robbie when I made the appointment. Zach was out to my home 2 days later. He called about 30 minutes before the start of the time window that I was promised and showed up within minutes of when he promised. Zach was incredibly professional, knowledgeable and friendly. He powered up my DLP and sure enough, it was the lamp. Although the part was a little pricey, I thought their rates and the overall repair costs were very fair. I looked up the part online and could have ordered it myself and replaced it. Given the fact that I was fighting the flu, I didn't feel like messing with it. Zach replaced the lamp and was on his way. Later that afternoon, I noticed a slight shadow on the left side of the screen, almost like something was in the way of the lamp, casting a shadow on the screen. Robbie informed me that Zach was done for the day and that he'd make it his first call the next morning. Zach came out and reinspected the TV and it turned out that their was an issue with my lighting tunnel. Although the part was around $75.00, the labor to replace it was pretty expensive since the light engine needed to be dismantled to get to the tunnel. I opted not to have it fixed to do some more research. Zach did not charge me for the return service visit. I called another repair shop and they were $100 more than what Zach quoted me. Bottom line is that All Video Repair is one of the most responsive and professionally run television repair shops that I have ever encountered. This review is for All Video Repair's installation department only. These guys were awesome. I had a 55 inch flat panel TV I wanted to wall mount over a fireplace. They were able to fit me in the schedule last minute and finished in a couple hours. This included routing a cable around the house, because I forgot that the wall I wanted didn't have a cable feed. The final installation is very clean and professional, the cables are nicely run through the wall and they told me how to run new cables through the wall conduit if I ever needed more. They also helped me tweak the final adjustments to my TV mount to make sure it was centered and angled just right. Could not ask for a better installation and their prices were fair. Our TV has been busted for about 2 weeks now. We went back and forth on what we should do. Fix it at a cost we were sure would cost us as much as a new TV or try and fix this one. We called and spoke with John and he was really helpful. He said that is was mostly that the bulb was burned out on our JVC rear panel. He even mentioned that he had the bulbs in stock. Went down and bought the new bulb and replaced it our self. The whole thing cost $150.00. That beat's the hell out of a new $1,200 TV. John even let us know we were lucky that the original bulb burn out after 3-4 years and we had made it 5 years. All Video Repair is a solid business. I'd recommend it and go back again read more

I just bought the new house and was looking for professionals who can design my home theater and mount big screen TV's . All video Repair guys especially Mark are professional, knowledgeable and know what they are doing. I used them for getting our 5.1 system (speakers and Receiver) and LED TV installed over fire place. I was so impressed with their work that I gave them another project to design my Theater room. Mark managed the project very well from start till finish by selecting best equipments required for the Job. Installers were also very knowledgeable and efficient and got the job done on time. After installation they cleaned and ensured no packing items were left. They installed big screen, Projector , 7.1 system , made connections with receiver and tested everything. They took care of all the minute details. They had all the equipments and materials required to complete the setup. Good part is that they provide all the equipments for the best price. I am extremely frustrated with their systems. The company has quit answering our calls and responding to our needs. The remote continues to show an hour glass so we are unable to use the remote daily. The sound goes out when we fast forward the remote. Does not work with AT&T system. I do not recommend their on-going services. I have to contact another company to fix their mistakes. read more

Do not do business with this company! I'd give them negative stars if possible! Ironic that the positive review here didn't actually require this company to do anything! They list on their web site factory authorized service for Toshiba. I called for service on a 42" Toshiba LCD TV. I gave symptoms that TV powers up, backlight works, no picture. The person on the phone informed me this is typically a $250-$600 repair. I scheduled a service call. Their so-called technician came out powered on the TV, observed the same symptom, and immediately grabbed his cell phone to call someone. At the end of the call, he told me that the repair would be too expensive and I should buy a new TV. He wanted $95 for this advice! I pressed him on exactly what the problem was with the TV, and how he could, without any troubleshooting, have come to this conclusion. He proceeded to take the back off my TV, wiggled some wires, then told me that they don't carry the equipment required to troubleshoot this kind of TV, and that they can't be expected to know how to repair every kind of TV. I asked how he expected to get paid. Shouting ensued. Don't do business with this company! read more

I had a older model Sony TV that went in for repairs costing $176 then broke again a few months later, so I brought it back in for another repair, costing $98. Three months later it broke again...I was frustrated to say the least. The reason why I am leaving good feedback for this company is that they could have handled it in numerous ways, and as frustrated as I was feeling like I got ripped off, they redeemed themselves by offering me a full refund for the second repair job, as it obviously didn't fix the problem. They gave the repairs an honest effort, but apparently this TV had major issues and had I known I would have just got a new one and not attempted repairs. I think this company made an honest attempt to do what was right, and I respect that. read more

Recently my 42" plasma TV died. Tom from All Video came out at 12:30 pm and diagnosed the problem. It would have cost just about the same to fix as to buy an upgraded TV from them so I chose to do that. On the same day at 2:30 pm Nick came out with the new 46" TV and professionally installed and hung the new TV, hooking everything up and doing an even better job than the initial installation by someone else 7 years earlier. He even covered the hidden wall plates and spent 2 hours making sure everything was hooked up properly and even helped me with Comcast to get the remote to work on the TV, DVD player and box before he left. Highly recommended. Why would I ever go to Best Buy again where I have to unpack, hook up and figure out how to dispose of the old TV when for just about the same price you have a professional installation without any sort of hassle whatever. read more

I found All Video Repair on YELP, read the reviews and decided to try them out. All Video Repair was awesome! My Sony big screen failed - right before my parents came to visit for a week. No way was my father going to miss the Olympics or anything else while he was here! I called on a Thursday, Lee was here on Saturday morning, gave an estimate in price and time. My yelp coupon was accepted no problem. I was given the option of applying my visit fee to a new TV from their store if I did not want to get the repair work done. I chose the repair, they called in the week time frame given (although my 10 year old delayed the process with his stellar message taking skills). Lee came again, fixed the television, helped vacuum out the TON of dust which had accumulated inside the TV over the past 10 years and was very helpful. Much to my surprise the owner called a week later to follow up with the service! What a nice touch! The owner confirmed what Lee had already told me, when we decide to get a home theatre system and new TV to go to All Video for all of our home entertainment needs. Lee added that they are competitive with local stores like Costco - and they install, are local and EXTREMELY HELPFUL - which I already knew. My 55" DLP Mitsubishi TV was doing some strange stuff. After doing some research on Yelp, I decided to give All Video a call. I am so glad that I did. From my description over the phone, Mark had an idea of what was wrong. Their repairman came out that Friday and the TV was repaired. After about a year or so, our TV began acting up again. Naturally I called All Video and talked to Mark. This time a decision was made that our TV was not going to be worth repairing. After Mark asked me a series of questions about our needs, wishes, and budget, he called back a few days later with the products that he believed would be exactly what we needed. Our new 70" Sony and system were installed about 5 days later. After the install that day, I couldn't stop smiling. In fact, I am still smiling. BAD Experience. I paid $700 plus, for an upgrade to my Direct TV satellite system to HD. First experience, Jeff, failed to show up the date it was scheduled. The next day, another installer shows up and upgrade my system. The HD system now crashes everyday, twice a day. I was told that I needed two new HD receiver and they would bring them that Friday. This was three weeks ago. I had to take off from work and Jeff failed to show again. Direct TV informed me that there is a problem with the multi- switch on my system and something is wrong with the installation. Until this date, no one has provided the assistance needed to resolve this problem. I am very, very, disaapointed. read more

This merchant required $480 up front before coming to our home. The work was dragged out to extract the full $480. When I complained that part of the work had not been done satisfactorily, they told me my equipment was not very good, and they tried to sell me something. They should have told me my equipment might not work before they started the work. Avoid them like the plague. read more

After posting my review on yelp, I received a note from Bill requesting that I call him. He apologized for his response to the billing issue and our problem with the remote and said he would rectify things. He offered to return the remote to Universal and give us a new one immediately. He also said that if Universal did not replace our remote, that he would not charge us for the new one he'd given us to replace the original defective remote. I had the best experience with Pro-Home Systems when Sean worked there. I brought them back out recently and it was a complete disaster. Not only was the tech unable to figure out how to get a message off my television screen he turned off the main audio. They offered to send him back out to rectify the situation and when I spoke with the tech he said it wasn't that he couldn't figure it out but, rather, that he ran out of time. Absolutely ridiculous. I just moved to the neighborhood, and was disappointing Pro Home would not come over to give me an estimate on a very large speaker installation project -- unless I paid almost $100 just for the visit. I only live 2 miles away, and explained that another party was paying for the project so I just needed the estimate before I could order the speakers. Further I was told someone would stop by, and then was only told there would be a fee after this person did not show up. I am not sure if this is a industry practice or not, but they lost a large order and potential future customer. read more

I posted online a request for servicing a NuVision television in the beginnng of November 2017. I received a call that day from All Video. I had someone come out to the house two days later. They informed me that my existing television, a Nuvision, was no longer being made and that there weren't any parts to repair what was going on with my television. Essentially, the screen kept going to orange or green when you turned on the set. You had to turn it on and off multiple times and then the picture would stabilize. I was told by Mark, the rep, that it was only a matter of time before the screen died. He also told me that the receiver and controler we had were only for NuVision and that I would need to purchase a new television, receiver, and controller. I also showed him the monsterously old television we had upstairs. He told me he would get a bid to me, which he did by that afternoon. He called everyday at least 5 times a day while I was thinking about the cost--a whopping $4,676.41. I finally agreed to purchasing the equipment on 11/17/17. He charged my card immediately and told me that I would have the sets the week after Thanksgiving. I never heard from anyone. I called the first week of December and was told that I would have the installers call to set up an appointment. No one did. Finally, I called the office and complained and said that I was going to cancel the order. I was told that someone had passed away and that was the delay. I was very sorry and said as much. The guy died suddently. However, this was almost the end of December and I had been told the televisions would be installed in November "the monday after Thanksgiving". Mark contacted me and then said he would have the installers call the next day. He offered a 10% discount back on the order. I said I didn't think that was enough and he said fine, 20% "he would explain to his project manager. The televisions were finally installed December 29. The one upstairs is lovely. The one downstairs was mounted on existing mounts. It was crooked and offcentered. The speakers behind the couch, which never had a problem, did not work. I sent a picture and Mark showed to the project manager and they agreed there was a "slight" problem. The engineers came out and said they couldn't fix the set because of the mount. Why the sales rep did not put together the right package is inexcusable. They also did not come out with a sound engineer and so the speakers are still not working. I was given a call and they said they would "check with the engineers as to which mount to get". That was a week ago. I have not heard back. I also have not heard any word AT ALL about the 20% discount. I had a tech friend of mine come over because the apple TV which we have, was no longer showing the NETFLIX and HULU on the remote. It turns out, that when the original installers left with the old remotes, they took the working and needed remote to the Apple TV with them. I would not recommend this company to ANYONE... My multi-system VCR had recently started having problems outputting the signal from PAL to NTSC so I took my VCR for repair there. The tech would not accept that the problem is with the VCR... kept insisting the problem was with my TV when I knew for certain it wasn't. Would not listen to my reasoning at all and refused to corporate. Lost my $75 in the process and wouldn't recommend this place for such repairs. read more
