I'm typically fine shopping here if I don't interact with employees or customer service. They have a good selection of products, mostly priced fairly. I've been here at least 10 times in the last decade with no major issues, until June 2024. I was at the register with the guy with long blonde hair and he told me that my account was closed because I had a $0 balance so I would have to open a new one. At first I was just like "um okay", I was pretty confused because my account was definitely open and I never received a notification that it was closed, and I had used it in the past year. He asked me to agree to a bunch of terms and conditions, which made me think about it a little. I took a second look at the receipt that he printed out, which did show a $0 balance, but since it is a CREDIT card, a $0 balance doesn't mean the account is closed, just that there is no balance, which is a good thing. Once I realized his mistake, I told him, "never mind, please don't open a new account". Then he laughed, a bit condescendingly, and said that I don't need to worry as he hadn't started the process. So I felt better and just canceled the purchase and left because I didn't feel like dealing with this guy, waiting in line again, or attempting to explain how credit cards work, and decided to just order shipping online. I later tested my card somewhere else (as the card works outside of Best Buy) and it worked properly. The next day, I received an email about my new account which was never opened (as my original account still exists), including a bunch of terms and conditions (about 10-20% of the email is included in the attached screenshots), and an inquiry on my credit report with one of the bureaus. I forgot which bureau, but I got an email about my "new account", which I had missed until today when I was checking my credit score. It shows an inquiry from Best Buy Citibank card or something I'm disappointed because as a 24 year old with a (formerly) 800+ credit score I was proud of achieving that, but now my score has dipped slightly. I'd recommend sticking to in store shopping or pickups here. Don't ask for anything that might be too complicated for workers, mainly credit and other services. I'd rather deal with these things myself online. Based on the other reviews, I would also avoid in home installations of large appliances, things that require a warranty, and other Geeksquad services, which are overpriced anyway.

I purchased this washer at the Dublin store on 11/14 with Karen. She convinced me to buy the annual membership for the savings in delivery and haul away. She also said if the washer price ever drop below $729 within 30 days that I would get refund on the difference. She circled the sku, the price and provided me the 800#, said I need not to come in person. Today I discovered it's now $699 so I thought I would call per Karen instructions. I'm told this wasn't true. This sale price is not applicable. (?) The rep escalated to her manager and was told I was denied, manager wouldn't even get on the phone! Be aware of this scam!

Looking for a reasonable and within budget tv purchase ... as we browse through the store , cannot find the Samsung TV that I saw in their online ad. Andy, one of their service/sales rep. acknowledged our presence and asked if he can help us. He was so patient and accommodating - showed different brands and what were currently on sale as well as provided good input in terms of what you get for your $ buck $. Helped me made an informed decision and hence bought a 55" TCL tv that apparently provided a $170 savings overall. True or not, "Andy" seemed to made me feel, I had a good deal for a good tv unit and a reasonably priced purchase.

This is one of the very few stores that has managed to still be in business here since the Hacienda Crossings Shopping Center was developed. I was always a long-time customer, a rewards member, and would make sure to visit this place for the Black Friday sales. Things have since changed over the years - ordering online and restructuring of the store. I haven't visited as often but still make my way there for good deals compared to Amazon and other local stores. Things to expect: - A new store layout with a fair amount of indoor construction (hopefully better than before!) - Plenty of curb-side parking spaces in front of the store - As you enter, online orders can be picked up on the right side of the store - Geek Squad is located next to the Order Pickup station on the right side of the store - Best Buy Rewards is still free and you accumulate points with each eligible purchase

Be careful when you order online only to find out the item was from a 3rd party and Best Buy won't accept a return. I call BS

We all know Best Buy...but the folks here seem to go out of their way to do a little more...which is rare for a large chain store.

Ask the Community - Best Buy

Does the Best Buy in Dublin, CA still sell Blu-rays, DVDs and 4Ks? I did a search on the Best Buy site using the Dublin location as my main store and the movies I search for, like John Wick Chapter 4, Fall, Oppenheimer, etc.. came up unavailable.

There was a story on the news s few weeks ago saying all Best Buy stores were eliminating the sale of all physical media, music, video, games

Video for…read morereference: https://youtube.com/shorts/S66lcl4j2-M We spent three days trying to port our phone service back to Verizon due to better coverage. After multiple failed attempts, Verizon advised us to visit an AT&T corporate store with ID to obtain a new transfer PIN. That's how we ended up at this location. Unfortunately, our experience with the store manager, Daniel, was one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had. From the beginning, he was rude, impatient, and dismissive. Instead of helping resolve the issue, he simply called customer service and repeated the same steps we had already tried ourselves. After nearly an hour, when a transfer PIN was finally generated, he abruptly said, "OK, done. You can go now," without explaining next steps. When I calmly asked what I should do next, whether I needed to go to Verizon or could finish the process online since I had my two young children waiting, he responded, "I don't know. I don't work for Verizon. Go figure it out." When I asked again for guidance, he became hostile and told me, "I don't f*ing know." This happened in front of several employees, and in front of my children. We were the only customers at the store at the time. I felt singled out and disrespected. I noticed he interacted politely with other customers, yet spoke to me and my family in a completely different tone. When I questioned why he was treating me this way, he laughed, cursed, and told me to leave the store. When I began recording the interaction for my own protection, he threatened to call the police, despite me standing there with my two small children. My kids were frightened and confused watching an adult behave this way toward their mother. No customer, especially a parent with children, should be treated with hostility or intimidation for simply asking questions. To make matters worse, he told me I was "not a customer anymore" because I was porting my phone service, even though I still maintain AT&T internet services. This experience was unacceptable and deeply unprofessional. Customer service should never involve disrespect, profanity, or threats toward customers. AT&T corporate leadership should be aware that behavior like this damages trust and reflects poorly on the brand. Customers deserve basic respect, clear communication, and professionalism. None of which we received here. I sincerely hope management addresses this situation so other families do not have a similar experience.

What happened to me and my husband at this AT&T store was…read moreshocking, unprofessional and completely unacceptable, especially because the behavior came from the store manager. We came in for a simple phone upgrade. During the process we realized that a previous AT&T location had given us completely wrong information about our plan, so we decided to return the phone immediately. The phone was unopened and not activated at all. The employee had already deactivated my working phone and needed the manager's access to restore it. The moment the manager (Daniel) came over everything changed. He did not listen to us and immediately blamed us for the mistake that came from another AT&T store. He said "You should have done your homework before coming here." He told me "Take a seat because you are begging for a refund." He told me "Sit down and relax." He repeatedly spoke to me in a belittling way and made me feel targeted and disrespected as a woman. We also noticed that he treated other customers who were not people of color politely and calmly, while he spoke to us with irritation and hostility. The difference in treatment was obvious and extremely upsetting. Then things became even worse. While he was assisting another customer, he loudly said "Let me deal with these assholes first" and then "I love dealing with such assholes." He said this publicly while we were standing a few feet away. It was humiliating and completely unprovoked. When he returned to us he continued raising his voice and speaking to us in a hostile tone. He said we should be glad he was giving us a refund and.At that point we were no longer asking for a refund at all and expecting my phone service to be restored. After everything he put us through we told him we did not want a refund anymore because of the amount of shame and humiliation we experienced in that store. Instead of de-escalating, he became even more aggressive and said "Do not act like a martyr." This was unnecessarily cruel and completely inappropriate, especially after we had already made it clear that we wanted to end the interaction peacefully. Throughout the entire experience my husband and I stayed calm and respectful. We never raised our voices or insulted anyone. We only wanted AT&T to correct the misinformation we were given by another store and to restore my phone. Instead we were met with harassment, verbal abuse, racial bias and gender-based disrespect. This was not normal bad service. This was discrimination, humiliation and retaliation. AT&T corporate needs to address this immediately. No customer should ever be treated this way, especially not by someone in a management position.

Rather than answering my simple question the employee rudely told me I needed to pay him $65 before he would tell me anything. I again asked if he could just point me to the right screen icon to navigate to the change password feature and he again rudely refused to tell me without a $65 payment. Then, another customer walked in and the employee dismissed me and began assisting the other customer. My father and I left the store and while sitting on a nearly sidewalk bench I figured it out on my own in just a few minutes by googling for the instructions. Had the employee been helpful we might have purchased a service agreement because the store location was convenient, but given the service they get this review instead. I do no recommend them because of the employee's attitude.
