The employees in this location are lazy they were all just sitting there. No one answers the phone when someone calls the store.. The manager is rude as hell. Horrible! My daughter got her cell phone stolen in vegas so I tried to make an appointment to get her another one but they don't allow same day appointments, so I went the same day after driving 4.5 hours back from vegas only to be told by the guy at verizon that they can't help me since they're busy. So since I'm already there at the store I asked if there were any cancellations. No matter what I said the guy kept telling me no to everything, so I asked if there was another store closeby that could help me since he wasn't willing to do anything for me. He just tells me there's another store in lakewood. So after looking it up on yelp, they don't list their phone number, only the 800 number for verizon, so I can't even call them to find out if they can help me that night or not. So I drive over to the lakewood store, only to be told that they can't help me since they close at 6pm and it's already almost 6. Having been a long time customer of verizon I felt like I was treated very badly at those locations. Maybe it's time to switch to another carrier since verizon's customer service is not as good as it used to be. I also notice the phone reception is not as clear as well. And worst thing is they cancelled the verizon up rewards. read more

My recent visit to this store was not great. Immediately upon entering the store, we were helped by the manager named Nicholas. He asked what we needed and we told him we had an appointment. He looked in his queue and did not see us although we were scheduled for that time. He sarcastically told me he didn't see it, because I set the appointment for Sunday, the 17th. Um, no I didn't bro. Confirmation email even stated my appointment was for Saturday, the 16th. But whatever. I explained to him that my phone (LG G5) does not keep a charge. When plugged in to the charger, the battery drains instead of charges. He looked at me confused and grabbed my phone to check for physical cracks or damage. There was none. After that, he immediately asked if the phone had protection on it. The answer was yes. He quickly ordered me a replacement phone. I thought that was great, until I later learned from VZW Customer Service that a replacement phone will not come with a battery and my main issue is battery related. He did not mention this. The phone has a removable battery, therefore it can be replaced. He did not even take the time to troubleshoot the phone with other chargers at the store or to see if something software related was the reason for my battery issues. What is the point of ordering a replacement phone, when it won't come with a battery to help resolve my issues? Now I have to figure out another resolution. There was another issue. My father had came in with me, because earlier in the week he came in to order a replacement for my mom's phone since it was also faulty. The problem is that the replacement was never received. At first he thought the original associate that helped them out did not update his address and sent it to the wrong home. His reaction when thinking that was quite unprofessional. He looked pissed and blurted out something about her, but later calmed down when he realized she did send it to the correct location. Since we never received the phone, but it was marked as delivered he basically told us there was nothing he could do. He told us to call VZW Customer Service. The whole reason my dad came into the store was because he had already talked to VZW Customer Service on the phone and they told him to come back to the store to straighten this out. I understand if there is nothing you can do in the store, but he couldve been helpful and called customer service for us with us there instead of us having to re-explain everything again for the 3rd time to Verizon people. There was no one else waiting to be helped and there were ample employees around to help other walk-in customers if necessary, for him to be able to do this for us. But he did not do this, he just gave us the order # on a sticky note and told us to call Customer Service again. Great way to go above and beyond for your customers. Overall, the "manager" Nicholas had a bad vibe and was not helpful for neither of the reasons we came in for. I also feel like VZW retail employees and over the phone/online VZW employees throw things back at each other instead of coming up with efficient/solid resolutions for the customer. read more

I came into the Verizon Store (Cerritos Towne Center) as I was having trouble with my iPhone. I had the pleasure of being helped by Jawan. After trying to figure out what was wrong with my iPhone he determined that with my plan I could have it replaced. I received it the next day. I came in and he helped me transfer information from the old iPhone to the new one. He was very friendly and helpful. Also, had the pleasure of speaking to Abigail via telephone as I wanted to know how to track when the new iPhone would be arriving. I would like to begin by saying I had a horrible experience in a corporate Verizon store in Downey that made me want to leave Verizon as a customer And from all people a manager. I walked into the Cerritos location and was met by yet another Manager who on my eyes deserves a promotion. I explained my situation and Ricardo was more than happy to help me. I didn't have the device I needed to return with me so he told me to just bring it in and he would be more than happy to help. I did indeed come back the next day. But by that time I decided I really didn't like the way I was treated and told Ricardo my apologies, in spite of what we spoke of yesterday I've decided I I would no longer like to be a Verizon customer. He expressed his sincerest apologies and went about trying to disconnect my service. He was extremely patient and very understanding and empathetic to the situation so much so I decided to keep my service with Verizon, and I truly believe if it wasn't for Ricardo, I would not have done so. I wanted to Thank him for being so kind it went a very long way. I will never return to the Downey location under any circumstances but Ricardo and the Cerritos location was able to help keep a customer. read more

I couldn't believe the reviews when I looked at yelp, but when I went to the store I agree 100% this Verizon store sucks a-hole if I can give zero stars I honestly would give -2 stars. When I went in there Nani helped me. Minutes into our conversation she starts throwing out how many years she worked there and how I was wrong. Turned out I was right and she wasn't able to help me out with getting a temporary phone until my new one came in. She was bad at her job and was as dumb as a rock. Prior to this trip, we went to another Verizon to transfer the information from the old iPhone 5 to the iPhone 6 Plus but the guy didn't take care of it. We walked into Verizon Cerritos and Juan helped us. He went above and beyond to set us up. It was stated that Verizon no longer can download and transfer information due to a lawsuit. However, Juan aka Taco Killer, was so patient and walked us through the steps. He fixed everything! He told us about the iPad discount and we were thrilled because we were in the market to buy an iPad, now especially from Juan! He got us all dialed in and we are so appreciative of his outstanding customer service. The other day we needed help with our email and again Juan came to the rescue. Verizon is fortunate to have an awesome employee working for them. We will recommend anyone who needs help with their Verizon phone to see Juan. Thank you Juan for your outstanding service. We came and the "security guard" put our number on a pink post it note and said he'll sign us in and someone will be with us soon. 1/13/2019, my husband and I went to the Verizon store in the Cerritos Town center. Monica helped us look at the phones my husband was interested in. She was awesome... She asked if we had any deals, but we didn't. My husband looked up on Verizons website and found a deal for the LG V40 half off. We showed Monica, she took my husband's phone, went into the back for about 5-10 minutes and came back, high fives my husband and said great job, this deal will work... Hindsight is 20/20, we should have gotten the deal in writing. Monica said it would take 2-3 billing cycles to see the deal update on our bill. By March nothing was updated. I called Verizon and they saw no deal. We went back to the store and explained the issue and was told we should come back in 3 days as Monica would be there. We came back, talked to the General manager (GM) Nick... What a joke, he could give two shits about customer service. He asked Monica about the deal we had discussed. Right in front us, Monica tells her GM that she told us that deal was for New line of service and wouldn't work for us.... I was so angry that she did that, mortified. Nick (GM) took his agents side. He didn't give us the deal, the phone 950.00 normally deal was 425.00 off. Nick wouldn't even consider half of that, he kept saying can't, not going to happen. Nick also kept saying, "let me check what I can do or I'll have to see what is possible. keep in mind, Nick was already aware of the situation before we got there. He had done no research prior or had no solutions already in mind. After an hour of dealing with him and getting more upset at him and him reminding us of the "deal that was NEVER offered" like he was sure that Monica was telling the truth and that we were wrong. He told us we could get the other phone my husband had wanted since it had a deal (200.00 off) with it and he would give us an extra 50.00... We told him we don't want to do that as my husband uses his phone for work and all his work stuff was already uploaded on the phone. We told Nick, if my husband has to remove his work stuff off the phone we would never do business with Verizon. Nick's response was, "I am sorry you feel that way, we would hate to lose you, but we will understand if that is the choice you want to make". So, we took a few days to think about what crappy offer he provided and decided we would return the phone. So, the only way Nick could process a return was by refunding the full cost of the phone and accessories (which was a little over 1100.00) to my Verizon wireless account. Nick explained how it would affect our account in the worst way possible, I told him "I don't understand, please explain more clearly when the credit will drop off". Kept saying, we would not be affected and it will work itself out. I told him again, I don't understand what that means. He said, I have already explained as clearly as I can... I was so pissed at how horrible Nick was/is, how could this person be a GM, he could careless about the customer and only cares about saving the company money. So, here we are near August 1st and........ The credit just came off my account (after me calling Verizon every two weeks for the last almost 5 months). NOW, I have a balance due of over 850.00, the person in Verizon customer service rep Yoshika who gave me a direct contact method has been unresponsive. I now have to make another call again to get the issue fixed again. All in all, I use to really like Verizon. Nick and Monica ruined that for me. They called us liars treated us like the criminals and made things worse for us cause now I am still cleaning up THEIR mistake. Does Verizon actually care about their customers, the people who actually keep them in business, I mean I am just one person, but if they didn't have customers they wouldn't be in business. I will be posting negative reviews anywhere I can about how horrible these two people are and what they have put us through. If you want to make this right, FIX MY CURRENT ISSUE. Please don't just apologize, help me get a resolution. I want all balanced owed to be removed except for the balance I owe for the month of August. read more

After I got a phone upgrade, I asked for a new SIM card because the current SIM card on the new phone was only working for data, not calls. The customer service representative said she could help and asked where I got the phone. As soon as the customer service representative heard me say I got it on an online marketplace, she immediately stopped and said, "I can't help you. Sorry." Amazing customer service!!! I bent my charger a couple weeks ago. My phone was dying and I had to get to work. When I pulled up there was a huge line which was discouraging. I guess the iphone x came out that day. Sorry I'm droid guy. I didn't know. Lol Anyways I decided to risk it. The security guard told me to wait in a different line since I wasn't there for the iphone. Nicholas came outside and asked me what the issue was. I explained it and he said he would be back in 10 to 15 minutes. I knew I'd be late for work but I was willing to risk it. He popped out about 4 minutes later with a new cord and told me he didn't want to leave me waiting so he just grabbed it for me. I was having another charger issue today and drove out of my way to be helped at this location again. I drove all the way from Long Beach. Luckily Nicholas was there again and took great care of me. Went in to buy Invisible Shield's tempered glass w/ lifetime warranty. All good until installation - the rep said I should've cleaned my phone thoroughly before coming in. Yet he left smudges of fingertips around the corners, and dust particles were in between the tempered glass & iPhone screen. He said it will "get pushed out eventually" but I doubt it. Anyway I got home, opened the box for the tempered glass, and out comes instructions with a wet wipe and sticker tape when applying the glass. Both of which he did not use... to be fair he got his own wet paper towel and scotch tape, but like. It literally gives you everything you need that's meant for use with it. I WOULD LEAVE NO STARS FOR THIS PLACE I HAVE CALLED AND FILED EVERY COMPLAINT POSSIBLE BECAUSE OF A REPRESENTATIVE AT THIS STORE. JASON SANTOS was by far our WORST experience for the 20+ years that my family and I have been with Verizon. We will NEVER go back here again. Nor to any other store, in face, due to this incident. I had purchased a BRAND NEW phone at a different store and it would NOT charge. I confirmed their stock and that I would be able to exchange at this store, due to the fact that it was closer to my work. JASON SANTOS told me it was an exchange, but kept giving me back the very SAME phone I walked into the store with. ON TOP OF THAT, I PAID EXTRA TAXES!!! The tax rate in CERRITOS is LOWER than la habra. *On the receipt, it says, "REFUND $0.75" but the idiot CHARGED ME effing 75 cents. So i paid $1.50 more than i needed to. It's a small amount, but i just paid an EXTRA $1.50 TO CONTRIBUTE TO THEIR INCOMPETENCE AND STUPIDITY. In the end, i got my original malfunctioning phone back AND paid extra taxes WHEN I SHOULD HAVE GOTTEN REFUNDED. The phone would not charge and he told me that the phone needed to be ON to charge.....and that ALLL the phones were the same way. HE told me if i was unhappy I needed to call LG directly, and he didn't provide their number because he wasn't ALLOWED to. I've filed every complaint possible with Verizon Wireless for JASON SANTOS and I will continue to do so until he is no longer employed with VERIZON WIRELESS. read more

Took longer than necessary while I was there to pick up a phone and made me feel unattended.

If I could give this place zero stars, trust me I would! I usually come to this location just because it is close to me. However, they are just rude and condescending! I had a problem with my phone and when I asked if there was anything they could do to resolve it, they said their hands were tied and that there was nothing they could do in the store. I was shocked. What is the point of having technical support at the Verizon store if there was nothing you can do? Then, when I tried to talk to the manager, Ian, he wasn't even trying to help. He tried to give me a lesser used phone to replace my current phone (HTC Thunderbolt for the Samsung Droid Charge). When I told him that was not a fair result because the specifications as much lower he kept saying, "How so?" "How so?" Does he expect me to memorize all the specs? I have done my research and decided on the Charge over the Thunderbolt when I initially got my phone. But whenever I tried to say something he rudely kept saying, "How so?" My problem was not resolved. I walked out of there frustrated and just called Verizon Technical support. How is it that the people over the phone are nicer and more helpful than people who are standing right in front of you? One of the WORST customer service ever! DO NOT COME TO THIS LOCATION!
