The check-in system was easy to use, and I really liked that there was a screen showing the queue so you could see where you were in line. When it was my turn, Alex came over to greet me, took the bag with my mom's equipment, and walked me over to his station. I was honestly a little nervous because the account wasn't under my name. I explained that my mom has been sick and I'm taking care of emptying her apartment and canceling her utilities on her behalf. Alex immediately understood and took care of everything in about a minute with no hassle at all. I was expecting this to be a much more complicated process, so I was really impressed by how easy and stress-free Alex made everything. There were only two employees working at the time, and both were tied up helping other customers--one explaining mobile services and the other going over cable details, which naturally takes some time. The wait was a bit longer than expected, especially since I was just there for a quick return. That's really the only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5. That said, I understand how things go--sometimes it's just not fast-paced, and you have to be patient. If I could give ZERO stars, I would. Our experience with Spectrum Mobile in Cerritos was beyond frustrating. We were told we could switch our lines over and that Spectrum would cover the costs with a Visa credit--a big reason we agreed to switch in the first place. But when it came time to actually make it happen, they completely dropped the ball. We dealt with Jesus, who was extremely rude and dismissive. Instead of helping us resolve the issue, he kept telling us we have to deal with it and we have to fix the problem he created! I will be going to talk to Eddie the manager! Hopefully he has a better solution and customer support. The kicker? Spectrum admitted they made a mistake, but now they expect us to fix it. How does that make any sense? Update to the previous review: Nice, but mistakes snowballed into wasting a lot of time. I sincerely appreciated the customer service here by the employees but was informed by customer support that my phone that was supposed to be (active) was never activated or became deactivated. It is frustrating as I went to the store two times (once for the activation and once again when I asked them about the activation notification on my Spectrum App while returning my old modem/router). The male employee here told me that it is a matter of an update with the system since I got the physical SIM card here, but customer support said the opposite. They should see me on their security cameras and on the waiting list. I am a little sad writing this review, but the mistake they caused (customer support said it was mistake on this store's end) prevented me from escalating my issue of getting 0 cell service at home (only outside). At the same time, I'm half believing customer support as customer support can't even repeat the issues you report when you ask them to repeat what I just said and their communication skills are no different than an AI programmed robot. Also my phone was working in the store during the time of activation. It felt like the blame game, but they said that's the information they had. I had to do a drop off at Spectrum, so I made a reservation to, hopefully, speed up the process. Arriving 30 minutes in advance of my reservation, there wasn't another customer in the building, and I was promptly helped by a young man with exceptional customer service. Dropping off the piece of equipment, the employee quickly recorded the transaction & handed me a receipt. Thankfully done in minutes, I quickly perused the latest phones & I was soon on my way. This negative review is about Brianna, the Cerritos Spectrum store manager. My mother-in-law has visited this store 3x to get an explanation of random charges she gets on her internet/cable bills. Each time Brianna "helped" her, she was always short and rude. And she would never explain what those odd charges were but just use roundabout jargon, basically nonsense to get my MIL out the door. I hesitated writing this review and put it off for several weeks, but by my MIL's 3rd an final visit, she came home IN TEARS and said that Brianna was extremely out of line to the point of MOCKING HER and even RAISING HER VOICE at my MIL, who is very soft-spoken to begin with. Again, no explanation from Brianna but just pretending to know what she was talking about when there was no need or basis for these odd charges to show up each month. Now, English is not my MIL's first language, so maybe Brianna lost her patience and got angry and impatient, but I'll give her the benefit of the doubt and assume that she's inappropriate and unprofessional with everyone. I ended up calling the toll-free Spectrum customer service and spoke with a wonderful agent ("Erin") who cleared up the incorrect charges within 10 minutes. It was actually a simple billing error that randomly affected a small segment of regional customers who had recently switched over plans from another mainstream provider. I asked if these kind of issues can be cleared up over the phone so that my MIL never has to step foot in Brianna's store again, and thankfully, the phone CSR said yes. Really hope that Spectrum Corporate does training for Brianna because I have never seen my mother-in-law so upset over cruel treatment by a customer-facing employee. Extremely frustrating and unnecessarily anxiety producing experience. Paul started out nice and "tried" to help but after 4 hours... I was completely worn out and he became completely unprofessional. He kept saying "Huh? What's this?? I'm not an iPhone guy, but I do a hundred of these things a month." He was offended when I asked if he'd prefer I deal with someone who is iPhone friendly. We almost came to blows...when he said he was off in 30 minutes and my transaction was not even near done. I apologized for my fatigue and if I was short and really tried to smooth things over. Told him I didn't come here to fight with someone. We were able to get 90% of the transaction done. Had to go home and call #611 to pair my Apple watch with new device. Not sure exactly what the problem was. I ended up returning the 16 Pro Max for the 16 Pro because it was SO heavy and I have carpal tunnel in my right hand. Went to the Brea Spectrum store to take care of this. What a different experience! On a good note - Long time Verizon customer, but left and bundled w/ Spectrum (had internet and added wireless). Saved a bunch of money. For that, I'm grateful. We'll see how the service and customer service is with Spectrum. read more

I've been a spectrum customer before was called spectrum , recently I purchase 2 cell phones for my grandkids , 5 months later there was no need for those phones , so I be called spectrum to pay for the phones in full and cancelled my 2 phone lines , the representative told me , there was no need to pay them in full , and that it was another option to pay those phones , by paying monthly payments , 4 months later I discovered by accident that those lines where activated , when those phones one was broken and they where sent to Mexico , I was charged 180.00 dlls for they mal informing me , careful out there , don't re recommend to go with spectrum phones, it is the worst customer consumer experience! read more

He was patient, kind, knowledgeable, and possessed a great attitude!! To begin, this is a review of Spectrum's internet television service, not their stores. My wife and I have given glowing reviews to their stores and its employees (shout out to Lux and Anthony) and we still stand by those positive reviews. We are very disappointed, however, in the company's change in television service. Previously, we received television service via the Spectrum Internet. Then suddenly one morning we discovered that we could not access numerous channels. No warning, just gone. My understanding from the Internet chatter is that they dropped the channels to keep more of the money we pay them for these channels (and I think the official explanation is that these were "duplicate channels"). They were hardly duplicate. Honestly, we are all aware of the inflationary times we live in and accept that fact to an certain extent. If they had simply sent us an email stating that there will be an increase, we probably would have paid for the increase and remained with the company. But instead we have closed our account with (phones, Internet and television) and signed up with T-Mobile (fantastic deal right now). Sadly, we did not want to leave, but loyal customers should be treated with respect, otherwise they will "vote with their feet" and go elsewhere. read more
