I explained that my mom has been sick and I'm taking care of emptying her apartment and canceling her utilities on her behalf. Alex immediately understood and took care of everything in about a minute with no hassle at all. So I figured it all out myself and if they had just walked around the house, they would've noticed a previous DIRECTV install bracket (already bolted into the house) that they could've used. I sent them a picture of it and they said they couldn't use it. But I'm literally writing this review from StarLink that I set up myself. For free! ! I've now got the entire thing setup by myself, and simply have to go to Home Depot in the morning and buy a few small things to make everything look neat. Most simple install ever. They did not research the project or even look at the height of my home. Super disappointing ! It's like any other business. I called David and he was able to repair the faulty internal board for only around $375. And that cost was only because he had to take the tv apart and repair at his shop. If it had been a main board that was on the exterior it would have come out to much less. While here, I found out he also does VHS to DVD transfers. Fast forward to a few years later and I again dropped it hard. This time, the entire back glass was cracked and I thought my phone was a goner. I contacted my provider and because of the damage, they said an upgrade would cost me $850+ all the fees/taxes. The agent actually suggested trying to get it fixed, which I was unaware was possible. I called CIR and they said since the camera lenses were intact, it would be $110. Jose worked on it for me. When I went to pick it up, he explained to me how he fixed it. I showed up with a new case and he put it on for me. Jose is professional, thorough, and is a nice young man. Everyone I have spoken and worked with at CIR provides knowledgeable and courteous service. Thank you for saving me not only hundreds of dollars, but also my data that sometimes doesn't get backed up and under gets lost when upgrading to a new phone.
