I strongly recommend not buying anything from t-mobile. while the staff in the store seem nice, they will sell you plans and services that are either lies or bait and switch. One example is that when we signed up for a plan, they included a free phone upgrade. However after the first bill we were being charged. it too about 12 calls and four months to resolve, at which point we ended up getting credits at the end of our contract because they are too garbage to refund. Another example we returned out 5G gateway be as the service was terrible, Even though they confirmed receipt they are unable to find the devices in their facilities. Another dozen calls, $250 added to our bill , and nobody competent or concerned enough to resolve the issue. If you love mediocre service, being over charged, and consistently lied to, this is the place to go. Otherwise I strongly recommend you visit a Verizon or ATT store before getting locked into a contact with these abusers. read more

2/14/25, T Mobile towers cellular service really sucks in the entire community of Lakewood, California. Every time between the hours of 5:45pm to 9pm during weekdays the internet just buffers (can't go on), this has been happening for the past 7 months. Whenever I call up T Mobile customer tech support they say it's their equipment problems and that they are working on it (for the past 7 months!) and that the area is very saturated with traffic and users jamming up the network towers at these hours watch tv or on their computers and mobile phones. The same problem occurs on the weekends between the hours of 12noon to 4pm and from 5pm to 7:30pm. Too many people are using T-Mobile home internet wireless service because it's cheaper than Spectrum and other networks, but T-Mobile internet service really sucks and is horrible. Not really worth it when you can't do work remotely nor watch any programs on Hulu or Netflix when it buffers all the time. The service is better in the coastal community that I go to, and that's because not everyone along the coastal areas are with T-Mobile. read more

My son and I were looking for a better company then the one we were presently with, Verizon, so I did some research and we chose T-Mobile. The best part about choosing T-Mobile was the store we chose to go to in Cerritos, CA store #9875. Whatever issues that came up and needed help, Carla was always very positive and worked them out until they were solved. Her expertise was so reassuring. Financing, solved. Emails, solved. Even an Apple issue with some security code download that took an hour, Carla stayed with us for that entire hour until it was solved! No walking away to help someone else or dissappear in the back. I believe we became friends after that hour. Lol. I also noticed that with every customer that entered the store, immediately was approached by a salesperson. I highly recommend this store for the best service! They were all very friendly, but I think I got lucky with CarlaD, Mobile Expert. I usually have a great experience here. I came in at 7:40pm and needed to turn on my service. The employee named Tony immediately had an attitude upon our arrival and said that they were closing. I knew that it wasn't going to take long because I just turned on my other line but he basically said we couldn't be helped. He suggested that we leave and come back the next day yet they weren't closed. Completely rude. We ended up leaving and going to another location. Called this location at 1115am to check inventory. I let them know if they had what I was looking for I'd just go pick it up. Guy says they do but to call again to confirm but I let them know I'd be heading over. He confirmed they had a lot of the cheap phones since it comes with a line so they keep them in stock. Arrived around 1145/1150am asked for same phone. I get sat down and shown a different phone that's $250 and he tries to sell me on if I buy another line it would be $120 instead. I had already explained I bought a prepaid a week prior and would get that new phone if they could refund the line since I paid $50 for it. He stated it would just expire but they couldn't refund it or apply credit to the new one. I tried to explain that it wouldn't make sense since the phone I was looking at only cost $198 and I had paid $50 for the sim and line already so buying another line and phone for $120 plus the line I couldn't get refunded would come out to be about the same. I asked for the phone I had called about and they said they had sold it in the 30 min it took me to get there. He goes back and brings another phone, still not the one I asked for since this one cost $250. Ended up leaving super frustrated. read more

I went into the store to seek help for a galexy fold 5 that had a black line in the fold. The rep I was working with Jasmine stated it's physical damage and I would have to claim insurance. I explained to her that this was from normal use. She told me to calm down. I told her I am calm and she was being rude. I asked what the other options are as this is the second phone that we have had in less than 3 months that this has happened to. She then turned and asked her colleague Irving the question for me. Irving turned and looked up on the iPad what other options there were. Clearly jasmine was inexperienced in helping customers with phone warranties and options. I asked if Irving could help me instead of jasmine as jasmine was being rude to me and not helping. they both agreed and Irving went above and beyond to show me my options, showing the regulations on Samsung warranties. He was kind and patient which jasmine should have been. The negative experience jasmine provided caused us to not want to return to this store for sales and help. I learned from this experience not to go to a store for help with a phone issue. Call the 611 number for results, the representatives are empathetic, polite, kind, and knowledgeable. Isaac (tech) came with an unprofessional and possibly sexist approach to "try" resolve the issue with my wife's phone. Initially, my wife had gone in first to have her phone looked at. Without even offering a diagnostic after hearing what she had to say, he made my wife feel belittled and taken advantage of because of her sex. How does it cost $99 to have a phone (under two warranties) fixed that has no physical damage, and why are you skipping the diagnostic? And once I, her husband, walked in, his approach was more welcoming, and he was happy to run the diagnostic after being asked to run it. We switched to T-mobile from Verizon about 3 weeks ago and I immediately started to have problems. I went to the store (cerritos towne center store) to have them fix my two issues: (1) I'm not able to send/ receive group texts, photos, gifs, or videos; and (2) I have only 0-1 bars in my house/ SHITTY reception. The guy there tried one or two things but then basically told me there's nothing they can do since I have the Samsung 7 and they have compatibility issues when switching over older models. This made me extremely frustrated because T-Mobile actively advertises to Verizon customers to get more people to switch over. But then when we do, they can't actually handle switching over unless it's the most recent phone on the market. This is confusing because I know they've been advertising and targeting other network customers long before the Samsung 9 came out. Basically, my options are to either buy a new phone or switch back to Verizon. And even though buying a new phone might be cheaper in the long run, I'm so pissed off with T-Mobile and the fact that I have to buy a nearly $800 new phone just to stay with them that I would rather pay more and switch back to Verizon. T-Mobile never called me back like they said they would, so I called tech support and they basically just had me do the same 2 things that were done in the store before putting me on hold for 10 minutes and then hanging up on me, while I was still on hold. I called back and got hung up on another two times, so I spent more than 2 hours talking to their tech support and got hung up on by them 3 times! Seems clear the night shift tech support don't know what they're doing. I went to this store location next to see if there was anything they could do. The employee who helped me was nice and tried her best to help me and was calling tech support and trying her best. In the end though, nothing was fixed. In the end I ended up buying a new phone from here and spent $800 on it, which was extremely annoying. What was also incredibly annoying was that they would only give us (this was a different employee this time) like $60 to trade in my one year old samsung s7, which we spent $650 on one year ago, for the samsung s9. read more

We came around 7:30pm and this store location closes at 8pm. When we entered the store no one cared to say hi or hello. I wanted to get a new phone because I just paid of my old phone. Whoever helped us ( the guy with the glasses) seems like he really didn't want to help us. He keeps on giving us alibis like " if you need help with transferring datas, you should just come back the following day because it will take more than an hour" another one was "iPhone 13 is coming out next week" and "oh, I have to enter your info's again in my computer, maybe this is a sign that you should just come back tomorrow". Really??? So before I even say something to him, we just decided not to get the phone. I know that he didn't want to help us because it's almost closing time. But you have to do your job right??? This is where 19 years ago I obtained my first cellphone and service . Ok enough about me. When I first walked in at 3:30 pm I it was different, not as warm and smiley as I am use to. Long story short within fifteen minutes I was out the door with what I walked in with which was nothing new and also was given misinformation. I decided a few hours later after speaking to a T-Mobile service call rep to go back into the store and achieve what I had hoped could have happened a few hours earlier an upgrade (New cellphone). At 6:50p.m. I walked into the T-Mobile store again, this time I was greeted by a professional, warm personality, Customer satisfaction driven young man name Sebastian!!!!!!!!! Sebastian, You Rock Youngman, Your patience, mild sense of humor lol and your music diversity was on point! You were willing to have a full conversation with me, actually listen to my concerns about my cellphone issues, what I wanted and my jump program and then what did you do, you made it happen man!!!! That's what I call great Customer service! You exceeded Going the Extra Mile. The one star is for the inconvenience. The website and yelp and everywhere else says this store closes at 7 pm on Sunday. WELL, when we got there at approx. 6:15 the employees pointed out the sign on the door which says it closes at 6 p.m. on Sunday. They were inside the store still when we arrived. All I ask is that, whoever is in charge, PLEASE change your website - such a hassle and waste of time.
