Avoid this AT&T at all costs! After almost a month, the manager Humberto Ramirez, told me I had to come back and fix THEIR mistake or I'd be charged full price for my iPhone 17 after already trading in my iPhone 13. They forced me to drive an hour to the store, reverse the entire transaction, get my phone back, and redo everything with a new device... all because of THEIR error. When I arrived, Eric told me to "come back another day" because the manager had left early. This is after the manager, Alberto, had already been in contact with me multiple times about this "urgent matter" and knew I was coming. Completely unprofessional and disrespectful of my time. Eric then pushed me to purchase iCloud, claiming scanning a QR code would take too long because "the wifi here is very slow". Meanwhile I had already been in the store for THREE HOURS. He explicitly promised my data would be backed up before any work was done. That was a lie. I lost ALL my photos, including my engagement pictures, completely irreplaceable. On top of that, my property was mishandled. Eric ripped off my $40 Belkin UltraGlass screen protector and slapped it onto another phone with zero care or professionalism. I've called multiple times asking for a replacement and have been completely ignored. This place is careless, unprofessional, and takes zero accountability when they make serious mistakes. They cost me irreplaceable memories and wasted hours of my time. Do yourself a favor, go anywhere else. UPDATE 03-23-26 never received a callback from Humberto, so I had to drive to the AT&T store myself to request a refund. Humberto told me I would need to pay a $55 restocking fee and refused to waive it. He also declined to replace my screen protector despite the inconvenience caused. He mentioned he might have covered these under different circumstances, but not in my case. Thankfully, Ozzy stepped in, contacted customer service, and was able to secure a full refund for me. I've been a long time customer with AT&T. I have two iPads that were part of my cellular plan with AT&T. I no longer need them to be part of the plan, so I was able to cancel one of the services using their app, however, I could not do the second line. That is why I am visiting the AT&T store. Matt greeted us and was very informative and helpful. First he canceled the second iPad account and then explain their home Internet system. He was thorough and efficient and quick. While we were there, my wife asked him about another line and the cost it would be to add it to our account. He was able to quickly set up our account to include this new line, but we had to get a transfer ID number from T-Mobile. Needless to say, we had to call T-Mobile and my wife has waited on the line on two separate occasions each time it was an hour and longer, in fact she's still on the phone with them and we're already at one hour and 10 minutes. So right now if I were to compare AT&T with T-Mobile, there would be no dispute, and it's not because I've been a long time customer of AT&T it's because of the length of time is taking T-Mobile to get a simple task completed. I would rank AT&T's customer service far away better than T-Mobile. Matt also answer one of my questions about their home Internet. He said that I could try their home Internet for seven days without any charge. I did have to set up that account, and wait for the unit to be delivered to me which should take a couple of days. Once I get it then I can test it out for seven days, and if I like it, then I keep it and set up the rest of the account or excuse me activate the account, and if I do not enjoy the service, then I simply return the unit to them. Went in here to do an upgrade on my mom's phone 2 weeks ago and the lady who assisted me was amazing. Now today when I went in I was assisted by Leo. I told him I was just there to turn in my trade in and his attitude changed. He told me they didn't accept trade ins at the store. I told him I just did it a week before and he said they just stopped last week. He made every attempt to not accept my trade in. The box was unopened and tape was still intact, the sales representative Angel agreed it was sealed and still stated that there will be a $55 restocking fee...the next day I called the supervisor I believe it was Humberto, he stated he will have to ask someone higher than him about a refund and it would take some time, I asked " like 2 weeks?" He said no give me until the end of the day. He never got back to me. It's sad to say there's no more first class customer service or customer satisfaction anymore. I've been with AT&T for over 15 years, and the service I received at this location was by far the worst I've ever experienced. I came here three weeks ago to purchase a new phone and asked specifically when the new iPhone would be released. The staff told me "no time soon," so I went ahead and bought the iPhone 16. Just a week later, the new iPhone came out. When I tried to return the phone at a store near my home, I was told I had to return it at the original location (Cerritos Mall). I drove over an hour back to this store, only to be ignored for about 15 minutes before someone acknowledged me. Once I was finally helped, the employee told me only the manager could process the return, but the manager wouldn't be in for two days. He pretended to "text" the manager and district manager, refused to make a phone call, and ultimately told me to call customer service instead. I left and spent over 90 minutes on the phone with AT&T customer service, only for them to tell me they couldn't help either because this store refused to provide the invoice number. On top of all of this, I was still charged an upgrade fee and a restocking fee for a phone I did not want, after being misled by staff. Thankfully, I went to another AT&T store in Moreno Valley where the manager, Jonathan, resolved the issue immediately and treated me with professionalism. But this Cerritos location wasted my time, gas, and patience, and showed a complete lack of accountability. If you value your time and want real customer service, I recommend avoiding this store. read more

I have a huge issue with the sales associate Angel. My husband and I went in to get info on a new phone for myself. That wasn't the issue, the problem was he upsold us on internet service. This plug in device was supposed to be cheaper and something we can take home with us, program, and would be set to go. NOT! First off, he tried scanning 2 devices to no avail, instead of asking what other options are, he told us the product would be shipped to our house.. ok. Crazy when we are literally looking at 2 devices physically in front of our face. But sure. BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! BEWARE!!! Came to pick up a phone that I bought online. Told to come back in an hour knowing that they will be closing soon. The next day called before coming over was told they will not be able to find my order since their system is down. I ask if I can just pick up from another store. Manager referred me to called customer service to cancel because they cannot do it in store. Called customer service said that they cant do anything on they're end because store needs to cancel the other. I asked customer service to call in store manager she was put on hold and gave up. I would NOT recommend getting a screen protector from here - specifically the "$40 glass Puregear". The At&t sales rep installed it, and within a week it bubbled. No biggie right? Stuff happens. Went back and they put another one on and it bubbled again the next day. Went back again to just return it since it was obviously junk, or not installed correctly, and they told me I'd have to go through puregear and ship it back to them. I bought it on 11/17 and by 12/27 the At&t store can't even return the product with the original box and receipt?! Buyer beware of what you buy even with keeping the boxes and receipts. The worst part that I won't get into is the new iPhone Pro that I got from this store (the one with 3 cameras) was defective, so now I have to also return it. Ugh! Representatives are not interested in providing service unless they are benefiting in meeting their numbers or comps. I upgraded online and needed help, and was told by Cindy since I did it online they couldn't help me, and would need to call customer service or do it by mail. AT &T Carrier for cell/mobile phones Highly avoidable. AT &T customer service very poor. They have no concern for their customers and can be extremely rude. Only time they talk politely is when they want their customers to sign up for auto pay of their cell phone bills. They are very careless . I had cancelled their service on 4th day of the month but was charged for the entire month. I paid the entire amount as charged to get them off my back. and spoke to the customer service team and they promised that that is the final bill and I shall not be receiving any further bill. To my surprise the next month i get a bill showing remark --instead of cancellation of service -change in service and charged for services which i did not ever sign up for. On again calling the customer service team they agreed that my services were cancelled last month and the current charges were not correct and since all services canceled they should not have sent the bill. Now they tell me they do not have the capability to cancel the amount so I should go to an AT &T store to get this amount cancelled. I explained that i have fractured my leg and I do not drive so why should I hire an Uber and pay $20/ plus to get the amount wrongly charged by AT&T. Still AT &T maintained that if I like to get this amount cancelled this is the way. This matter is not resolved. I am concerned that this way they may spoil my credit which is excellent as of date. I was skeptical about revisiting this store after having a bad experience here a few years back , but i was at cerritos mall and decided to see if things had changed . Was greeted by a friendly employee when I entered the store, who was more than willing to ask if I needed help with something I ended up purchasing three brand new iPhones, the employee was super friendly, helpful, and patient with any questions that I had. I bought two of these as a Christmas presents so I had to go back after Christmas to get them activated, this process was also easy when I thought it was gonna be a pain in the butt. After having a bad experience I was pleasantly surprised to find out how easy and straightforward. the process should've been the first time. While LESLEY, can be helpful, she is to pushy on everything that , one, as a customer,wants or needs to accomplish at this AT&T store , from the beginning she said that I could try another store because she did not have any e sim cards left at this location . Mind u that She said this with the first three seconds , She was not explaining in the least of the reason y she was suggesting to just go to another store ( three times, She suggested) without trying any other options or even wanting to talk about it. I had to pry and ask more then once of what was an E sim card, n Y I could not get an E Sim card, like I had before, not to mention i drove 20 miles to get to this location . Not a very welcoming start. It is not that fast , or easy for a customer to just drive 20 miles from one Apple store to another Apple store, n this case ( Apple Store & ATT STORE ) under one roof, that have a replacement 5 th GEN IPAD air, to replace my broken one. To just drive away without trying different options to rectify the problem. These are not 99cent cheeseburgers with to many pickles on/in them, THESE ARE 1000.00 dollar units/ cell phones / iPads etc, it takes a bit of time to get it right. Justin Yuan, district manager for My Wireless, is an unscrupulous sales representative whose main objective is to increase his commission by taking advantage of uninformed consumers. All I wanted was to replace my old phone since it had stopped functioning that day. I told him that I wanted to buy it outright. He insisted that I could not do that; he made me call AT&T to impersonate my mother (the account holder) to add myself to the account as an authorized user. Unbeknownst to me, this was so that I could make changes to the account plan and sign up for a phone contract and financing. He constantly reassured me that the new plan was cheaper, with better services, and that I could "change it immediately back" the next day if we didn't like the new plan he signed us up for. I later tell my mother what I've done, thinking that I've made positive changes to the account that could be easily reversed. My mother is a much savvier consumer than I and knew immediately that I had been scammed. She then called AT&T, who said that reversing the changes was impossible, since her old plan had been grandfathered in. Now she is stuck with a plan that will dramatically increase her monthly bill. Although I can only blame myself for being a poor consumer, Yuan is horrifically unethical. He did not provide me with a copy of receipt, terms of contract, or accept the return of the new phone he sold to me. The lady who worked the store inside the Cerritos mall between 3-4pm today Sunday 4/3 was not only incompetent, but also rude to her customers.
