The one great thing about Cricket Wireless is that they have a trial available where you could try their service alongside your current provider to make comparisons in performance between the two. I downloaded the Try Cricket app on my iPhone and tested it out with my then-current provider. I was convinced to switch to Cricket after I tried using my cell phone in my church's basement level (we are meeting there temporarily until the church's roof can be refurbished). My then-current provider had NO signal at all, yet Cricket still had a signal, even though it showed one signal bar on my phone. I then switched later that week online, after which I received an email notifying me that it would take 2 business days to switch over. I had seen the Cricket Wireless store adjacent to the Walmart on South Street, so I decided to stop by to see if they could speed up the process of getting me switched over. The employee on duty, Emely, was helping other customers who were there before me, so I had to wait a short while. When she was ready, she called me over and I explained my situation with proof that I had made the switch online; I just needed to make the switch complete on my device. It was a bit of a laborious process for Emely (she was helping other customers in between), but she punched a few buttons on my iPhone and told me that I was finally switched over to the Cricket Wireless network. :-) I signed up for the $55.00/month unlimited data plan. Since I elected to have my monthly payments on auto pay, I get a $5.00 discount, so I end up paying $50.00/month. Emely was very welcoming, friendly, and patient while she got the process started in switching me over to Cricket. So far, the service is working flawlessly. I highly recommend the service and this particular Cricket store for sure. read more

AMAZING STAFF!!! Personally, I have to commend CP for patiently and professionally helping me through some technical issues with my phone. It ended up being a technical glitch that wasn't fixed on-site but just miraculously corrected on its own later in the day, but he laid out all the possible options and explained things much more clearly than the usual sales rep. In addition, even though she didn't work with me directly, I walked away from your store with a great appreciation for your staff after watching and listening to Jay fighting for an elderly customer who was apparently taken advantage of by Customer Care and Cricket's billing department. After years of having his cricket phone, my fiancé's Phone decided it's time was over and kicked the bucket. He needed to get a new phone fast, as he can't be without a phone if his Work calls etc. He bought is new cricket phone from a target nearby, but the tech guy there didn't know how to help him with switching his SIM card, and didn't know if he could activate the phone and keep his old number. So I researched the cricket stores nearby and found that a lot of them didn't have many reviews, or the ones that did have a few reviews had awful ratings and reviews. All except this store. This particular cricket store had great reviews and a good rating, so we drove out of our way to come to this store. Immediately we were greeted by the district manager (I think?), and he helped out my fiancé right away with activating the phone, putting in the SIM card, transferring the data from his old phone to his new one, and keeping his old number. I finally got my first smart phone. I know I'm a few decades behind the times. Slay and Chrispal were my guide to uncharted waters. They were patient, kind and did not make fun of my "old fashioned" brain. I was happy with the prices, the phone and their service in particular. While I was being served by Chrispal there was a high semi-homeless man in the store taking up a lot of Slay's time with nonsense and baloney. Apparently he is a regular bother. Slay never lost his cool with the guy and was able to handle him with patience but did not let the situation get out of hand. Bravo for a relatively young man to have such grace with all customers. This are two nice and knowledgeable young men. Cricket give them both a raise and a promotion. They have the power to make or break your business and you need to treat them right. I'm new 2 Cricket barely 2 months. I was really excited about my transfer from MetroPCS but after 5 weeks my "new" ZTE phone no longer works. It stays frozen on the Cricket screen. I've been to 2 Crickets including South St. were I purchased phone. Slay & Cristoball are great but I keep getting the run around from the Warranty Dept and Customer Service saying bc Slay took my sim card out to my old phone that now my service is inactive and doesnt qualify for the Warranty. WTF seriously. This is of course 100% BS. I purchase a new phone and it worked for 5 weeks and is supposed to have 1 year warranty. I hope I will not have to file an FCC and Better Business Bureau complaint. I will put an update in a few days when I finish putting my foot up their ass to get this resolved. Remember Cricket the customer is what makes or breaks your company dont hire idiots in Customer Service or Warranty that put customers through BS for no reason. A great company resolves issues in fairness towards the customer. read more
