I came into the store today to replace my daily wear casual shoes and the way in which this location was operating with regards to this health crisis was stomach-turning. The store runs with a limited occupancy to follow current safety guidelines however I don't understand why they would do that yet allow 1/3 of the store's occupants to enter without any facial-coverings. Myself, along with everyone else, waited outside in the heat just to enter a very small store in which about 6 out of the 15 inside were not wearing face masks. Why bother with following the guidelines if they're not going to be followed correctly? Why defeat the purpose of limiting the number of shoppers? Instead of trying to mitigate the risk you're creating an even greater amount of it, and the fact that this is the kind of environment that you're creating for your customer base is appalling. I just discovered this place. So awesome. It's true that most things are Buy 1 Get One Half Off. Not everything though. Like the classic authentics are not part of the deal, the ones that are black, red, or mono black. I like wearing super bright shoes and/or limited edition colors, so this is an awesome find. I found a pair if authentic in scuba (bright blue) and authentic lo pro in azalea (bright pink) for $48 for both. How awesome is that!? I love vans. Slipping them on and off, who can lose? When they came out with Star Wars collection I had to own almost every pair. The staff were friendly and offered their help while we walked around. I have been to a lot of outlets before where the shoes are not where they are supposed to be. I was actually surprised that this Vans Outlet wasn't run down with shoes all over the place! Most outlets have shoes just lying on the ground dumped by a passerby who just wanted to look at the shoe and not put it back. We had actually bought 4 pairs of shoes for $120. They were having a buy one get one half off deal at the time. We walked away with four new Star Wars shoes and will be coming back again! read more

Plenty of stock and ever changing styles come in constantly. The store associate that help us Karlo L. was very polite and helpful. This place has gone downhill. I used to go into this vans outlet all the time, excited to get a new pair of shoes from the discount shelf in the back of the store. Even when I didn't necessarily need a pair of shoes, I would ALWAYS find a cool pair of vans for a good price...BUT NOW, in the last year or so, I can't find anything good, and the price has gone up.. I remember when I got a pair of leather old schools for 20 bucks...now, the cheapest discount shoes are like $40 and they're hideous... in short, all the discount shoes are garbage now, and seemingly twice the price... I might give this place one more chance, but I'm pretty bummed. read more

Shame on me, didn't have a receipt for the Christmas gift I received. Shame on Vans, I walk in to get the same shoe a half size larger, which wasn't in stock. I ask for the same shoe, half size larger in a different color, and they say they will credit my shoe at its sale price and charge me for the replacement shoe at full price even though BOTH SHOES have the same "Buy one, get one at 50% off". I had a fantastic experience at Vans today! I came in to get my nephew some new shoes. As soon as I came in Caleb explained the sales to me. He was so welcoming and attentive. As I walked through the store Caleb regularly checked on me and answered every question I had. I was shopping for quite sometime, so another employee joined the floor. Came in here and was in a rush to get to work. I'm in the security industry and I always have to wear black shoes and having a size 13 shoe is hard to get the color you want, however one of the employees Brent was a huge help. Customer Service was HORRIBLE. When my sister and I first walked in and browsed the shelves for the first five minutes we were approached and asked "Do you need help with anything? If so let me know..." we're like "Okaaaaay, thanks..." and we keep looking. Next 5 minutes we're approached again, same script. Not odd at all, I thought "wow they are really on their customer service here, nice!" I kid you not, in the next 10 minutes or so we're bombarded by three girls from different directions all within a couple of minutes asking us if we need help. It started to get annoying. When we DID need help, we asked if they had a couple of shoes but different sizes in the back, the girl went to go check so we sat on the benches so she wouldn't have a hard time finding us. She walked passed us about three times with a clipboard, so we're waiting to hear the results of her findings. My sister flagged her down because it seems she was ignoring us and she asked "So what happened to the shoes?" The employee responds, "Oh, we didnt have them." My sister said, "Well, thanks for letting us know." The employee walked away, I had a sense that she really didnt go check but who am I to assume, I'll give her the benefit of the doubt. We purchased what we had & that was it. It's just highly annoying being bombarded with "Do you need help? Do you need help?" Then when we ask for help, its as if we're inconveniencing them to check in the back for sizes. I'll probably be back for the prices but I won't expect stellar customer service here. So bought two pairs of shoes, two pairs of socks. Spent $103. They had a big sign that said spend $65 get $25 off next visit. They ran out of coupons and would not honor the sign because they did not have the certificate. Terrible that they could not simply have the manager sign my receipt to fix the problem. So we went in on a busy Saturday both I and my gf came up with a pair of shoes and we had our friends and family coupon at the ready for a quick transaction. When we get up to the front we were told politely by the cashier that we needed to have them printed. All we said was "oh really?" Then who I assume is the manager, one burned out older lady (or a younger lady with a shit load of city miles on her) with awful tattoos and a distressed up hello kitty shirt, decided to in unpleasant and unwarranted tone, mirrored what the rep just told us. Then we asked how long could they could hold it for? In which the polite rep told us until close, then once again the "manager" chimes in with no we will only hold them for an hour because they were just too busy to hold them. We promptly left and will not gone back for our holds. Literally all of the staff except for this woman was helpful and friendly. If you can't handle the stress of high volume retail at this point. Maybe you should get out? There are other locations that will receive my money and if the staff are smart they will move to those locations. read more

So I came here last week with my grandparents and as soon as we walked in we were greeted by Dee. Super friendly and offered us assistance. At the time we didn't need it so we went on our way browsing and all. Anyways, he sees us struggling to find what we're looking for and again offers his help. Finally, we bend and end up sending him back to check for 4+ pairs of shoes. All at different times, mind you! He kept up his friendly demeanor and really helped reign in my grandfather to get what we needed so we wouldn't be browsing forever. He even offered us online options that let us get deals in store as well. Basically Dee is a people person and I can appreciate someone in customer service who does their job well. He's definitely a great example of customer service at this store. There was another guy who was cashiering that was awesome too, but I didn't catch his name. Went to this location today, I've been SEVERAL times before. I've used the bathroom pregnant and they've even let my 8 yr old use it a couple times too. When we first walk in, I asked TRAM if we could use the bathroom. She said no, they don't allow that anymore. Then I asked for the manager and she said NO! Are you kidding me?! Finally she directed me to her. I stood next to the register for awhile before the manager HEATHER asked if I needed help. I asked if my son could use the bathroom like he has in the past. She said no, the closest one was across the street! Mind you, I was carrying my 1 yr old! So instead of allowing my son too, they turn you away and make you cross a busy street! I often hit this place up with the boys because of the great deals they have every day. The place is small so it does get a little tight in there with all of the product when you get more than 10 shoppers in there. Service is pretty decent, but today they were either short handed or just plain overwhelmed by the number of people who needed to know if they had additional sizes in the back. They made the effort to handle this as best as they could. We didn't find everything thing we needed as far as size and product, but as an outlet it really is a "crapshoot" as most outlets go. But, I still went in to take a look see. And I love some of the girly clothes so much I really wish they had a bigger selection for us Ladies =). I was really hoping to get a cute little holiday outfit. But instead I got a cozy, cool sweater, and a cozy lil vest with some slip on Vans shoes. This store is great...so much so I feel compelled to write this review! I stopped in yesterday to make an exchange and I was beyond satisfied with my experience. I have one big expectation when I'm out and about: customer service. Why is this so important, you ask? Well, if I am out shopping for something, then the merchandise can sell itself. Clearly, my mind is made up that I am expecting to leave the store with a purchase. I could go online if I wanted to but no-I like to have human contact! From the moment we walked in, we were warmly greeted. I needed to return an item and didn't have any hassle even though I didn't have my receipt. Once I looked around for my new item, I didn't see my size. I wasn't even going to ask for back stock because I am SO used to hearing "what we have out on the floor is all we have. No, we don't have anything in our stockroom." Anticipating guests' needs is a big plus of customer service in my observation. I was promptly told by the sales clerk, "I'll go check in the back for your size." MUSIC TO MY EARS! I also found the selection of clothes and accessories to be great! I had to fight temptation of buying every cute top and handbag...and sunglasses. How can you beat "buy one get one free?" To the staff on 5/29, thank you for your great work that made me have a positive shopping experience. I am sure I'll be back and next time, I will bring my husband so we can stock up. read more
