Great customer service. I picked this place simply because of young lady at desk. Great place....

Looking to rent a storage unit for my daughter's senior year at Chapman because she is between rentals. Reserved a unit without obligation then called to see if I could have an on-site inspection. Rhiannon invited us over to see the unit. The office is using Covid guidelines and face mask are required. The office is very clean and organized. The unit was PERFECT for our needs. Signing the lease took 15 minutes. Saved some money by making a cancer donation. read more

Great place for Storage. Good Customer Service, clean and friendly. They ensure their lot is clean and office is super cool. I have been here for a few years with my current job and a few years back. They hold my deliveries for me so I can pick them up the same day and put them in my unit. read more

I was able to book exactly what I needed, with same day service. Jocelyn is the absolute best. She was super helpful and friendly and got me all set up. The unit was clean and is connected to an alarm. The facility was also clean and well-maintained. The prices here are very reasonable. The last storage I rented was also in Orange and it was not as nice, but cost more than this one. Jocelyn and US Storage definitely "get it." They are running a professional organization, with outstanding customer service. Thank you! read more

Great Experience! From the moment I walked in the door, I knew I made the right decision to go with US Storage Centers to store items for a move. The office looked and smelled very clean and organized and the storage facility itself looked much cleaner than others I've used. As far as the office staff goes, Jenny was extremely friendly, attentive and thorough when we completed the paperwork. If I hadn't already decided to rent a space with US Storage Centers after reading the Yelp reviews, I definitely would have rented a space after my experience with Jenny. read more

The assistant manager Jocelyne is amazing!! always very helpful and keeps facility very clean

The staff here is super helpful. I asked them for a few favors after they had already taken us back and forth to the unit. Jenny's chill, she was a huge help. Usually self storage situations are kind of a pain but this was really and they do a good job making it a stress free environment. Thanks! read more

Storage Center was very easy to work with. From the time I called ahead on the phone to working with Ana at check-in, everything went smoothly and everyone was professional and friendly. I really liked that they had a building that was air conditioned which I knew would make my move-in much easier. They even offered me a discount off their usual prices. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone needing some storage. read more

The five months I've been with US Storage Center in Orange has been a very positive experience so today we paid for an additional unit here. Jenny, the property manager, was able to move things around to accommodate us in a very timely manner. Our second unit is only 3 doors down from our original one! Jenny and her staff run a clean and friendly place which we visit frequently. Oh, and their hours are great plus open all holidays! Thank you for your friendly hospitality. read more

I've spent weeks searching for storage units and I've even rented a storage unit in the past from a different location but none has reached my expectations. However no amount of customer service, discounts or attitude can compare towards the amazing, wonderful and peaceful experience I've obtain while working with Jenny on getting a storage unit. Not alone did she answer all my questions and concerns but she approached everything in an professional, friendly and even family manner. I felt comfortable here thanks to Jenny. Im gonna store here for years to come and I would recommend this place for storage any day! read more

We needed a storage facility for our daughter's furniture who was studying abroad in the Spring from Chapman University. U.S. Storage on N. Main in Orange Ca. was the spot. Very clean, digital security system throughout property and each individual unit, AC-climate controlled units available, 24hr. staff on-sight. We needed something small, first floor and close to the entry of the building. The team of Anna and Mike at U.S. Storage on Main St. in Orange, CA. took very good care of us. If you need a safe, clean, professionally staffed storage facility for your items, I encourage you to leave your things with them. Very nice, and helpful at all stages of our time with them. read more

This storage facility will remain to be my one and only storage of choice. Each unit there includes its own security alarm system which disarms when you come in and arms when you leave. The property managers Barbara and Jim are very professional, friendly and the best people to deal with. I highly recommend. read more

I used this storage facility for several months because it was conveniently located on a well lighted main street. They offered good move in specials and did not require a lease. The facility was clean, well lighted, and offered good security (units are individually alarmed). They donate left items to charities and round up cents of your payment to give to charities if you agree. The owners Barbara and Jim live on site the property. I would say the facility itself deserves 4 stars, however the customer service is more like 2 stars (but on my move out date I would give them a zero for service if I could). I found the service not very customer or commuter friendly. I live about 30 miles (60 miles RT) from the storage facility but decided that it would be easier to move to US Storage in Orange from my other storage unit in Anaheim down the street. They offered extended gate hours(until 9 PM) compared to my original storage place (until 6 PM). The move in process took a long time and required lengthy paperwork. Barbara made an error on the paperwork and had me drive all the way back to the office to re-do the paperwork. I would have preferred she have mailed or faxed it but she said she needed me to come in. Making payments required using snail mail or going in person. Their website was not set up to take payments or set up to email the managers when I rented there about a year ago. Moving out was the worse in regards to paperwork & service. I called them to let them know my move out date 2 weeks before I moved out. They told me that I had to go to the office in person during office hours to fill out a written move out form. They would not let me email or fax a written notice. So I had to drive 60 miles roundtrip just to fill out a form with my name, unit number, and date of move out. I could not get down to the office right away so I ended up being charged more days since they didn't pro-rate from my original phone notice. When I got to the office I was then informed that since I was moving out after the 15th of the month, then I'd have to pay the full month (not the 10 days I was orginally told). "it's in the contract" is what I was told. I ended up paying extra days for an empty storage unit due to this policy instead of just the days that is required for notice. Then the day I moved out the manager Jim was very unprofessional towards me. He raised his voice at me and began arguing stating that he had to sweep out my unit because it was left full of trash. I told him that I had completely emptied and swept out the unit previously so that was impossible. He continued ranting and raving about having to sweep the unit for the next customer and told me he did me a favor (umm..isn't that your job?). I'm not sure why this man was acting in such an unprofessional manner on this date because the office staff had been decent (but not great) up until now. It seemed that they did not care about customer service once you were leaving but were good when they are trying to get you in. I spoke to Barbara (manager and wife of Jim) regarding the unprofessional demeanor of the manager. She did not apologize, looked confused, and barely said a word in response. How could she I guess when she is married to the person who is treating the customer poorly? I asked Barbara for the corporate number to discuss my poor treatment and was told that they don't give out the corporate number. Really, or would I have been given the corporate number if I had said I wanted to send a compliment instead of a complaint? read more

This is my first review after becoming a member of Yelp 6 years ago, as I very rarely feel the need to rate any business badly. Despite that, here goes: My fiancée/girlfriend and I read the reviews and were pleasantly encouraged by the glowing nature of them. Decided to go with this establishment. On move in day, my girlfriend contacted them to inquire about locks. At this time she was told their hours of operation were not 9:00pm [i.e. gate access hours], but 6pm [i.e. office hours]. A reasonable misunderstanding on our part. The woman at U.S. Storage suggested my girlfriend call me to learn if I was able to make it by 6 pm. I told my girlfriend I would leave immediately [from 2.8 miles away]. My girlfriend then called the woman at U.S. Storage back to let her know I was on my way and would arrive shortly -- which she appeared to be fine with over the phone. The conversation my girlfriend had with them led her to believe that they were not in an extreme rush to close up shop, as she was told they could show me several units when I arrived [This takes time, does it not? Any reasonably minded individual would assume they were, therefore, not in a rush to close shop]. Previous to this, my girlfriend supplied much of my info to make the transaction expedient on both ends. I rushed to get there by 6pm. I walked in the door with a smile and promptly explained the reason I was late was due to pulling into the wrong storage location half a block down. I was then told, in an oddly terse manner, that they had shut the system down for the night, that I'd have to come back the following day. The time on their wall clock read exactly [no exaggeration] 6:01 pm [I was one minute late]. Furthermore, a blank 'Occupant Information Sheet' was pushed across the desk toward me. It was as if the conversations my girlfriend had with them never happened. Furthermore, I was scolded, as if I were a some sort of subordinate, for not calling them myself [I was driving, to get there, and unable. I prefer to follow the letter of the law that way. The truck I was driving didn't have hands-free calling features like my Range Rover. More to the point, it is utterly commonplace for someone's wife, fiancée or girlfriend to make these sorts of calls on their behalf]. I explained that it would be a fairly substantial hassle to have to 1) Drive the 15 foot truck back home. 2) Unload it right back to where it came from. 3) Return the truck. 4) Re-rent another truck in the a.m. [I had no idea if the truck I was in was already reserved for the following day] 5) Re-load a 15 foot truck. 6) Drive back to the storage facility in the a.m. All over being one minute late. Nope, they didn't care, I was one minute late and that was that. Their treatment of me, as a well meaning customer, was as though I had tried to force them to remain open, and/or was seeking preferential treatment. Nothing could be further from reality. I was simply seeking run of the mill customer service... that thing that used to exist in the good old days. HERE'S MY COMPLAINT IN A NUTSHELL: If a business is going to close immediately at 6pm ***TELL US THAT*** while we have you on the phone and I won't bother rushing over, as I could have made it to a closer location before the evening cut off -- and therefore saved having to rent the moving truck for an additional day. As it stands, I'll take my business elsewhere. I'm happily paying more to keep the moving truck loaded and idle overnight and more for the new storage location -- which, incidentally, has 42 *5-star* ratings [and only 5-stars across the board. Might want to go there instead, people]. Zero chance I'd go back to U.S. Storage in the am after being turned away at 6:01 pm and scolded after they acted as if running a minute or two late wasn't an issue over the phone. Everyone who knows me knows I'm a man of principle and will gladly pay *more* for top quality service/communication. Thus; 1-star for terrible communication, wasting my time, scolding me, zero customer service, and cost on the additional day of truck rental. I tossed their Occupant Information Sheet in the garbage. U.S. Storage is obliged to keep their 1/2 off. Paying full price at the new location is zero issue for us. Mind you, I was courteous the entire time. I even held the door open for the male worker [the woman's partner] upon leaving. Did I receive a 'thank you' for that? Nope. My girlfriend's response: "Strange, she seemed so nice over the phone." My experience with this place was, in a word, bizarre. Back to LA we go. p.s. The woman at the truck rental was a sweetheart accommodating us on the impromptu extended rental. --UPDATE BELOW-- The NEW storage facility [immaculate] had me up and running, keys in hand in [I kid you not] under 60 seconds from the moment I walked through the door [Note: We provided them with preliminary information over the phone to make the transaction expedient on both ends]. Good luck! read more

I came across this place through yelp based on other's reviews. Barbara, Jim and Chris have all helped me on separate occasions and have provided great customer services to me. My family has been renting storage units from US Storage for many years now. We recently wanted to downsize our unit. I came in and spoke with Ana and she has been nothing short of fantastic. She suggested a unit that would clearly hold all of our items and did not try to upsell to a size that I didn't need. I would come back here over and over again because of how helpful Ana and everyone on the property has been to my family over the years. read more
