It's a very creamy and slightly sweet drink that still has a strong coffee flavor. They also have toast/sandwiches for a light lunch, like their avocado egg toast which is delicious. I've stopped by here between 4-5 times and I'm thoroughly satisfied whenever I come here. Got an 8oz vanilla latte with oat milk - tasty. Can never go wrong with their matcha lattes in my opinion. The last time I went, I got a Pumpkin Spice Latte. The syrup was made in-house and my friend and I agree that it tastes REAL -- unlike when you can taste the artificialness of a syrup. I wish URL would have been around when I was an undergrad at Seattle University. This place has it all: original and gorgeous aesthetic, strong and flavorful coffee, creative drinks, food options that sounded really good, and friendly staff. We didn't use wifi or outlets but they have those too! Oh, and they are definitely prioritizing safety. On our visit today I had the Walk to Work, and I'm not kidding when I say I could get this every day and not get bored of it. My fiancé got an americano and said it was fantastic. The shop was quiet, mostly full of students studying or hanging out. If we had been more hungry I would have tried one of their food items...the prosciutto and apple sandwich looked bomb. I sought out this coffee shop to get some work done, and was so pleasantly surprised by how much I loved it. I got the pesto ricotta tomato toast and a latte and I was OBSESSED with the toast. There's plenty of outlets with some seating by the window and a large table in the center for people to co-work. I personally felt that the large table was too intimate for me, but the window seating was great. I just wish they had additional tables for those seats. There are quite a few coffee shops around here and many are inconsistent both in the quality of their coffee and the friendliness of their baristas. This is one of the few where everything is consistently awesome. I am one of URL coffee's biggest fans. A friend recommended this place to me and I didn't know what to expect, but expectations were exceeded. You walk into a clean space, nice vibey r&b music, awesome ceramics pieces on the shelves, and friendly smiles. I ordered the "walk to work" latte and I don't think I will ever order anything else again -- personally, when I find "my thing", it's hard to part ways with known deliciousness. The coffee is smooth yet toasty & the creamy topping is luscious but not too sweet. If I had to choose one go to coffee spot in the city, I really think this one is at the top for me - especially to get that latte as summer approaches. P.S. URL Coffee is great for studying, OR just chilling and having a great chat. They have one long table in the middle, which is great if you don't mind sitting next to others to do some work. And they also have some small tables if you want some more space or just want to have a nice coffee date. Came here to do some work and it was really nice! The interior is well lit and along the wall there are outlets. You might have to sit on the long table next to others if you need the outlet. I got the walk to work latte which is essentially a latte with their homemade whipped cream on top. I would definitely recommend this if you have a sweet tooth. I've only had the chance to go a few times but I think this is my favorite coffee shop in Seattle! I truly don't mean to compare every coffee shop to Maru in LA, (favorite coffee shop in general) but this one reminds me of it - like a warmer, cuter/funkier cousin. Even the Walk to Work drink (iced latte with cream) is reminiscent of the Maru cream top (iced espresso with sweet cream). I will say the Walk to Work is slightly too sweet for my taste but I did still enjoy the coffee itself! I've probably been here more times than I can count. It's a cute little coffee shop on First Hill, with a consistently excellent americano (both iced and hot). Honestly, I haven't tried many other coffee drinks here since their americanos are so great. The baristas and owners are really friendly, and clearly take the time to learn your name and remember your face. The food is also great! The egg sandwich is a favorite, along with the ricotta toast. Favorite was the Walk to Work Latte w/ oat milk and it reminded me of a Vienna Latte. The cream foam on top made the drink irresistibly delicious. The espresso beans created a perfect bitterness paired with the house-made sweet cream on top. The drink was phenomenal as it was creamy, toasty and smooth. Absolutely impressed! The barista I got my latte from was really a joy to talk to and we traded book recs. Super nice guy! The espresso was really good--not sure what they're using at the moment but it's got a full body without feeling overwhelming or heavy. I got a mocha for my friend who enjoys sugar more than coffee and he said it was a good for a nice little hit of sugar but wasn't overwhelming, and you could still enjoy the coffee. This has been my favorite coffee shop during my time in Seattle! I usually order a 16oz Walk to Work or a 12oz iced latte plus an apple turnover. They use specialty beans from Maru for their espresso I believe, which makes for a really great drink every time. I also bought some coffee beans here and the baristas took their time walking me through each type and how it would taste with my home pour over setup. The cafe space and ambiance was very nice so great for hanging out. My only complaint was how long it took for the order to come out. There were only 3 orders ahead of me but I waited for 20 minutes for my cappuccino (pastry was premade).
