Mixed shish plate - yummy

Like this place a lot, have been coming here years. Love the rustic authentic ambiance and feeling. The waitstaff is very attentive and add to the pleasant experience. BYOB with a cork fee, but at least you will be drink what you like. They do offer a full bar if you forgot to get the bottle earlier. The food is always on point, and the selections are vast. From meats to fish to the appetizers, everything is tasty. Great for small or larger groups. One negative is looking for parking, don't know if they have valet. Solid 4 stars, every time it's consistent Come hungry leave happy Keep eating, keep living!!!

We ate here to celebrate a birthday and it was such a good time. We ordered a lot of cold appetizers such as salads, cold cuts, a soup and wings to start. They brought out bread that was warm and looked pretty tasty. I ordered a shrimp kebab with rice and salad. Everything was so delicious, including their fruit punch. The shrimp had some sort of extra seasoning on it. Portions were good as well. For desert I had vanilla ice cream with a shot of espresso (off-menu). The ice cream had a little ice in it but otherwise was alright. They even came out with a birthday sign and a bunch of flashing stuff. Our waiter didn't quite know what a gluten allergy was but he was very accommodating and checked in to make sure I could eat certain things. All of the staff were lovely and the decor is really cute as well. The fish tank video behind the stage is kind of funny too. My one and only thing that as unappealing was the strong smell of urine in the women's bathroom despite the bathroom looking very clean so it could be that it just seeped into the wood flooring (not the best choice of material). I definitely would love to come back here

Kutabi with Greens and Herbs

Pleasantly surprised. Came here for lunch on a Saturday; honestly, had no expectations. 5 stars all around - lovely decor, attentive service, yummy food. Tried: - Calf liver appetizer - Warm brussel sprouts salad with grilled cheese - A vegetarian kutabi - Khinkali (Note: price is per piece, but minimum order is 5) - Napoleon cake Stuck to warm appetizers and enjoyed every bite. Recommend! Would be curious to return for dinner and try their main dishes.

We come here every now and then. We had bad experience ones a while ago, after that only positive experience. The service was good and fast, the food was also good . Nice portion size, fresh salads and tasty kebab .

Time for another review... Well... This review I was about to post on November 2020... it didn't go true... Where should I start.... K, so The Food Is ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS 5+. THE HOOKAH... Litarly the best I have ever had... highly recomend!!!... But the BAD SERVICE OVER TAKEN IT ALL!.. From the second we sit, we had a feeling the waiters Avoid us at all cost, the hookah took almost 20 min to come out but that was freaking amazing... Not even once any waiter came to out table to check on us. No eye contact, nothing he coming to survive 1 table and ( like a hours with no visibility on the peripheral vision At all ) we felt like we back in school raising hand so many he someone will be kind enough to see us !

Mediterranean lamb kebab platter Mojitos Sex on the beach

Food was good. Nice huge giant plate. The mojitos. Omg omg loveeeeedddd it so so much. Its tasted wonderful with I got two. lol. The service was ok. I say that because I don't think the waiter and waitress knew English but they didn't really say or do much. The restaurant had a nice decoration to it. Felt nice to dine in.

Pancakes :)

I truly enjoyed their food but their new cook doesn't know how to cook. And this place is not cheap at all!! That's the pancakes they sent me!! It's unacceptable!! That person should be fired. The chicken is very dry and burnt too. The burger they delivered to me yesterday was burnt and ve eh salty as well. But I gave them another chance for some reason. I am very disappointed.

Shout out to the waiter who accommodated me, by making A breakfast entrée at dinner time, but that is a very small fraction of what a restaurant dining experience should be. Went here with my girl, for our monthly dinner meet up. Our entrees were visually on-point (albeit her stomach started rumbling after the end of her dinner. By the evening she was incapacitated and I wasn't much better the next day) My issue lies with the fact that the kitchen would not take back a barely touched wrongly made hummus.( Hummus by the way requires tahini!) However- the travesty which earns them two stars was tacking on a bread fee of 3.00(?) plus a gratuity charge for 2 diners. We weren't asked if we needed any food accommodations, accompaniment, ketchup for my fries was never offered, and the waitstaff- other than giving us our meals-was completely absent. My goodness- The restaurant industry really has gone down because people don't know what the term service and experience mean. Too bad we won't return for the level of pettiness-eggs were legit. ----------- Update- importance of being a smart diner is knowing what to order in a particular establishment. My friend ordered meat- i'm sure they have improperly stored food

The food is excellent! Decor and service very lovely. We tried meat kutaby, dyushbara, house special salad "tsob-tsobe", grilled eggplants, different kind of kebobs. Everything was very tasty. Highly recommended!

Mini samsa. Delicious! A lot of meat inside !!!

I highly recommend getting an assortment of dips and small plates - 2-3 dishes per person was just right for us. I can't pick a favorite item of the evening: The Israeli Salad Hummus was some of the best/most flavorful hummus I've had, the Whipped Ricotta was perfect and so fluffy, and the Matbucha & Labne are also great additions to the table. They make a really good Falafel here, and the Crispy Cauliflower were perfectly crispy and well-sauced. The Chocolate Babka dessert is a great way to end your meal, and they do make a solid espresso martini for those wondering. The only thing I was not a fan of is their drink menu - all of the cocktails are spicy or smoky. Although you can sub out different alcohols, it would be nice to have a few other options.

The service here is unmatched! We had the hiramasa, chefs fish special of the day, black cod, lamb, mackerel toast, ricotta toast, chicory salad, and corn ribs. It was the perfect amount of food for us without feeling too full. My favorites were the hiramasa, chefs fish special and corn ribs. All the dishes here are so unique and well made. For dessert we shared the chocolate cake which was great as well. Overall this was an amazing experience and the food and drinks were great. Service was incredibly warm, and our waiter gave helpful recs when navigating the wine menu, which featured mostly wines from Lebanon. For 2, we got: - baba ghannouj - muhammara - dips come with fresh, fluffy, warm pita - batata hara (crispy, spicy fried potatoes with garlic) - heirloom tomato (with garlic toum and sunflower seeds) - octopus - lamb chops Everything was delicious and extremely flavorful! The heirloom tomatoes were a standout dish: fresh, packed tons of flavor, and I loved how everything went together. The waiter mentioned they're seasonal and will be swapped out for something for the fall season soon. Dips and potatoes were excellent. Octopus was the one weaker spot. The skewer was a bit small and the preparation left the meat a little lackluster and chewy (I'm picky with my octopus!) The lamb chops were very tender with tons of flavor - char, mint, meat. A bit heavy but might just be because I don't eat a ton of red meat. I was VERY full by the end of the meal! I think we could have done 1-2 fewer dishes and still been very satisfied, but I'm glad I got to try so many things. The mains took a while to come out, though I enjoyed the longer, non-rushed, 'let's chat over delicious bites for hours' feeling of the meal overall. Great dining experience. The bill came to about ~$100 per person for the above + a drink (one wine, one mocktail) each. Between the fantastic ambiance, service, and high quality flavors, I found it to be worth the price and great for a treat yourself outing, date, or special occasion.

Lesson learned: if you're going with a group, make sure you have your final number when making the reservation because adding someone later may not be possible. We started with the Mezzi Filistini, a mixed platter of babaganoush, muhammara, tabbouleh, salata, tahini and labneh. This was very good, and we tackled it with zest, devouring it with the accompanying pita bread. We also ordered the falafel, chicken shawarma platter and beef kebab platter. The chicken shawarma was decent, but I would have loved more chicken and bigger pieces. There was considerably more rice than chicken, which made the platter feel a little unbalanced. The beef kebab was better, with a good portion of meat and rice, and the accompanying vegetables weren't too bad either. One disappointment for me was the lack of a proper hot sauce. Something with a little heat and flavor would have paired really well with both the shawarma and kebab and, for me, would have elevated the meal. Overall, the food was good and the ambiance was pleasant. Service was also good for the most part, although I was disappointed that we weren't asked if we were interested in dessert before wrapping up the meal. Al Badawi is probably a place I would try again, but not one I'm in a rush to return to anytime soon.
