Hadn't been in a while, ordered two of their popular dishes to go. I called it in, and was ready by the the time I arrived. The chicken fried rice was a good portion but not too much chicken. The beef pad see ew noddles tasted fresh and had plenty of veggies. The red hot sauce had a major taste of vinegar, wish it didn't because I wasn't able to use it to give it a kick to the dishes. Parking is shared with many other restaurants, so I had to park on the side of the building.

Our fav Thai spot!! Everything's delicious and the service is friendly and fast! Thank you to the staff and cooks!

I've ordered from Trendy Thai multiple times over the past 3 years. Their cashew chicken is amazing. All their dishes are well made and priced very low. The service was very fast and friendly.

Rarely say this, Hidden gem. I genuinely come to this place for the cleanliness and delicious food. Service is always attentive and top notch attitude. Restaurant is always real clean and taken care of. Tried different vegetarian dishes when I come and always rotate for what craving I have. All real good with clean ingredients, never too oily. Vegetables are always cooked exactly how they should be. Thank you Trendy Thai!

Trendy Thai is delicious! Always fresh. Great customer service. Very clean restaurant. They are always wearing masks and keeping the restaurant clean. Great selection of vegetarian dishes. However, you can make anything veg by asking for veggie or tofu instead of a meat option. This is what I do often. This is an overdue review so I've posted several photos of yummy dishes. My kids' favorites: cashew chicken and pad see ew beef+shrimp. My favorites: spicy salad (I get it with tofu but it's good with any choice), wonton soup, spicy eggplant, and ESPECIALLY kee mao chow mein (veggie or tofu but delicious with shrimp or anything you choose!). That's if you like spicy

Trendy Thai hit the spot on a Friday afternoon. I was in the area and Yelp to the rescue. Everything we ordered for lunch was amazing. It was so good that I forgot to take photos before diving in. John, the owner, was so helpful and gave great recommendations. We had egg rolls with plum sauce and calamari to start. That plum sauce was heavenly. I ordered a few things to try since it was my first time. With the help of John, I had their spicy eggplant with tofu, yellow curry with tofu, and shrimp pad see you. Oh my goodness. Everything was outstanding but the spicy eggplant with tofu was extraordinary. It was hands down my fave! Would I order it again? Absolutely! I'll definitely be back to try more things off their menu, but I'm a creature of habit and will probably order the same thing again. Thank you Trendy Thai for a memorable experience!

Finally jumping on the Yelp bandwagon. Been coming here since Sam the previous owner and continued to do so when the new owner took over several years back. I met the new owner and most of the family. The restaurant had a major work done. Carpet floor replaced by tiles, walls painted with earth tone colors, countertop cashier area redone. Now moving on to the good stuff-food. This place is as authentic Thai as you can get and I have had my fair share of Thai Dishes throughout the world including several trips to Thailand herself. By far one of the best tasting, flavorful dishes in the area. I have had EVERYTHING on the menu from Tom Yum, Trendy Fried Rice, Curries to Pad Kee Mao just to name a few. Makes my mouth watery just thinking of their menu and wait...there is more. Since it is cooked to order, you can customize it. I've always ordered Pad Kee Mao and Spicy Chicken with extra basil and they always accommodated my request. Talk about service right. I have had my fair share of international dishes and for Thai food, I would always compare other places to Trendy Thai. That should say something about this restaurant. I always ended up leaving this restaurant completely satisfied. Overall, good attentive services, clean facility and authentic made to order dishes. Highly recommended as I have done to friends and family when they are in the neighborhood. Also for those that give out 1 star when dining out (probably don't even tip)...they should just stay home and cook for themselves... and that is my OPINION.

Server was missing in action through our meal. I wish she was doing her homework while I was eating so I had someone to ask for service.

Under new ownership? That's the rumor and possibly right. We were the only ones in the restaurant at 6pm on a Monday night, so they definitely don't have a dinner rush. Food was good, but the dip in rating was for the service. Considering we were the only ones there, it would not have been hard to keep me happy. Ask me once if I'm ok and check my water glass, other than that I'm really low maintenance. Did not check on us until we were almost done with our food and was also missing in action most of the time. I was looking for one thing, the green Chile's that I'm used to seeing along with the other spices at the table, but by the time she checked on us, we were done with our food. I assumed the new ownership did away with the green Chile's, but when I asked she said they were put away. At 6pm? Didn't even offer us option of asking if we needed anything while we were eating? As you will see from the pictures, the server uses the time for homework, which is none of my business, but even if she was sitting at her computer that would have been better than her not being available at all. At least if she was working on her laptop, She would have been close enough to ask for service. At one point, I was going to yell out loud to the kitchen for service and the green Chile's. This used to be a favorite go to for Thai, but if service is going to suck this bad, there are other places to try that are also nearby.

This time, I wanted to try something different, so I ordered the shrimp paste with cauliflower. It was a new dish for me, and what a pleasant surprise! The cauliflower was cooked just right, with a nice texture, and the shrimp paste added a wonderful savory flavor. I wasn't sure what to expect when I ordered it, but it turned out to be really delicious. Definitely a dish I would order again! I also ordered the two BBQ delicacies plate, which was another winner! Both BBQ selections were flavorful, tender, and juicy. The rich BBQ flavors really hit the spot and reminded me of the delicious Cantonese BBQ I had during my Hong Kong trip. Overall, HAO Cafe was a great choice for my first Cantonese food craving after returning from Hong Kong. It's nice to know I don't have to fly all the way back to Hong Kong to enjoy a satisfying Cantonese meal! It was tender and incredibly juicy. Their BBQ meats are noticeably better than a more popular competitor -- juicy, flavorful, and not dry. - The breakfast 2-item combo is totally worth it. Generous portions and easily enough to share between 2-3 people. - The lemon iced tea and HK milk teas are refillable. - The restaurant itself is small, but so is the staff size, so expect things to move at a more relaxed pace. This is one of those places that may not be the first name that comes to mind when you're craving a HK cafe, but it should be on your list.

They have many classic Chinese dishes at a truly affordable price point. The food: We ordered four different dishes: green beans (v), stir fried egg plants (v), mapo tofu (v), and chicken with rice. For the first three dishes, we clarified with the owner to make this vegetarian (also vegan), which she was able to do very easily and without question. We communicated with her in Chinese, but she also spoke English to us, when we discovered that our Chinese was likely not as fluent as native speakers. Everything was flavorful, without relying on just an overwhelming amount of salt, and we really enjoyed the green beans that seemed to be cooked in fermented bean paste. I found the eggplants particularly tasty too! The service: This small store had so much business, so we did spend some time waiting before we could actually order our meal. The restaurant itself was filled with folks dining in, and there were multiple parties waiting for take out. Even so, once we did order our meal, it didn't take too long for all four dishes to come out. For these reasons, I can't say service was particularly attentive, but they were still polite and I felt like they did try to make it a good experience for us, even if it was so busy. Everything else: They accept credit card with a small surcharge. Parking exists, but during dinner time on a Friday, expect it to be full and very cramped.
