I was scared to try this place because of the negative reviews but we had a pretty good experience! Their happy hour menu is awesome. The waitress was friendly but disappeared for periods of time, so I could see the possibility of getting slow service if it were more busy. The appetizers we got were just okay, we got the jalepeño poppers and stuffed peppers. The sushi was actually pretty good! We also got the rum punch drink and it was delicious. Dangerous because it just tastes like straight juice but so so good. Will definitely stop back to take advantage of that happy hour menu some more!

As always a great experience. I choose trappers (especially the Covington wa location) for my "mom" break. Sit at the bar for all you can eat and watch a TV show or read my kindle and just relax alone. Foods always great, service is fast and I love the varity

Wait time was too long when the restaurant barely had any customers. When my number got called, I went in and almost slipped and fell over. The floor was wet. The waitress witnessed the whole thing but proceeded to greet me with "How is your day going?" No apology. Well, as you can see, it is not going well since I almost fell. We went for the all-you-can-eat menu. The portion was big. I tried to try as many rolls as possible but unfortunately, half-sized roll was not an option. Not every roll tasted good and I got stuck with the ones that were not good due to the big portion. I didn't get the name of the sushi chef that served us but his service was very good. I only tipped him privately.

I honestly don't know what happens at this location but i ALWAYS, without fail, receive my order incorrectly when i door-dash it. I DON'T recommend ordering it online. It definitely a sit down restaurant, even then it's still mediocre sushi. This location specifically has problems with food handling. Ive gone 3 times to this location because my friends live close to it. All 3 times they were serving browning avocados, mushy fish, or missing the squid salad on the trapper's dinner. Food: 40/100 Cleanliness: 50/100 Environment: 55/100 Service: 86/100

Been going here since it opened and in recent years it has declined. I eat at Trappers almost every week and I will be eating more frequently in Enumclaw where they have continued what Trapper started. Recent togo order in Covington was almost an hour past promised time. The roll I ordered was not like that they usually serve. Seared tuna nigiri they gave me was the fully cooked end of the tuna. I paid for edamame and they ran out at 6:30 pm. Asked if I wanted miso soup and no, not really the same. Said they would refund the edamame and I will check my card to see if that has happened.

Imagine ordering sushi and finding hair in it... but wait ... now imagine finding paper towel pieces in your miso soup??? Yuck! I can't believe it either. My wife used to love eating and ordering from Trappers but the last few times there have been issues with each order. This was the last straw... she called and spoke with a manager who "offered to put her name on a list for another soup in the future" No Thank You! There was no sense of concern about contamination of food and it being served to other customers. Luckily she did not eat any of it. We were told the general manager "Victor" would give her a call but we haven't heard from anyone. Stay away if you value food quality and safety because clearly this location doesn't.

They are served hot and crispy with some sweet chili dipping sauce The filling is perfectly seasoned ground pork wrapped in a crunchy wrapper and fried to golden perfection The meat to wrapper ratio is really good and comes together for a nice mouth feel The crunchy ends are my favorite and I love the dipping sauce These would be great as a snack or a meal or alongside other entrées as part of a meal They're about 4 inches long and very shareable. This would be a good item to share with friends or family. Next time you're in the Kent area you should stop by and give this a try Whether you've had lumpia before or not, you'll be pleased They offer a full menu of Filipino dishes, in addition to these delicious treats

We had been to the other Fil Cuisine location twice and were disappointed both times, so expectations were cautious. This visit started off strong, though. We were greeted right away by a friendly waitress - she was funny, and very upfront. She warned us that regular portions are already massive and family size would be super-sized. She was absolutely right. When the food came out, we were shocked by how large the portions were. The waitress came back with a playful "I told you so," which made us laugh. Food-wise, it was hit or miss: - Ginisang munggo was delicious. We finished the entire bowl. Highly recommend. - Mixed pancit looked great but was a bit bland. Loved the fresh lemon (not packets) with it and asked for more. - Pork adobo fried rice tasted like garlic fried rice. No real adobo flavor detected and it also was light in seasoning. - Papaitan was Tagalog-style (no bile or liver) and would have been a winner for us but it too lacked the expected flavor punch. - Ube halaya was a bonus. It was made fresh and still warm with a soft fudgey texture. We spooned it. Highly recommend. - Hot tea turned out to be chamomile, which we didn't expect and didn't enjoy. We had plenty of leftovers to take back to the hotel. Several dishes needed condiments or seasoning help since flavors were muted. Easy fix so no worries. The restaurant itself is spacious, comfortable, and great for big families. The ladies from the kitchen who came out to check on us were also friendly and chatty. While this wasn't a slam dunk for flavor this first round, the service, portions, and welcoming atmosphere made it worth trying.

A thin crisp crust, falling off the bone tender lamb with a nice amount of fat. It's served with a salty spicy dry rub that adds more texture with each bite. The raw sliced onions, not something you'll see with western cuisine, but a staple served with mughlai kebabs in other parts of the world provide sweetness and additional crunch. The lamb buns were great. Unlike most buns or patties or quiche which usually have ground lamb, these had tiny cubes, along with potatoes. Just needed some hot sauce to unlock flavors for me. The lamb soup with noodles was light and super flavorful. Great for a winter afternoon. Service was nice. The place is inside the same mall which houses Ranch Market and is clean with nice comfy seating. Will I return: Definitely

Specializing in lamb, xinjiang naan, and more with a healthy amount of, of course, cumin. Lamb skewers - Glorious meaty flavor, with that very slightly gamey lamb taste and a lot of seasoning. Lamb stir fry - Delicious. I particularly love the lamb chunks that have a bit of fat or tendon on them. I also love the potato in this. Hand pulled wide noodles - These are on-point, especially after the sad and soft ones at Dough Zone. So much texture and the amount of umami they soak up from the juices of the stir fry is brain melting. Naan - They're definitely good, but these are.....sooooooooo dense and filling. As an analogy, if bread -- bagel, then Indian curry naan -- this naan. Honestly, these aren't my favorite, but I can't fault the taste or quality at all. Soup - Oh yeah, this was also perfect with the bread. At a glance, it reminds me a bit of pho broth, but you'll forget once the lamb flavor in it hits like a truck.

Great place when you're craving Hainanese Chicken…read more I had the combo chicken rice, which comes with your lighter Hainanese chicken and fried chicken. The Hainanese chicken was so tender and almost pure. It had depth and complemented the chicken fat infused rice. It's a nice balance and you can dip sauce into it if you like more intense flavors. I also liked the fried chicken because it had more texture to a tender dish and I found it nice to go back and forth. We also tried the noodles and it was decent and had a slow burn (spicy) to it but i like the rice dishes the best. The combo chicken was more than enough food for me - I left very full. Ambiance is casual. We arrived on Friday around 6:45pm, and joined a waitlist of 9 for 2 ppl. We waited about 25 minutes for a table. You sit down, order via QR code, and food comes out! Service was decent - nice and friendly and attentive - it's not a place where they'll wait on you regularly but it's also not that kind of setting. Parking is either on the street or in the H Mart complex parking lot. All in all - great eatery

Also, I noticed their floor were extremely greasy and slippery. They put down black rugs in main walkways , but on the way to the restroom was without and I almost slip and fell. They really need a deep clean to their floor, or someone might fall for real.
