Every time I am back in the Seattle area I crave Thai food as AZ did not have good Asian food. We chose this place as it was close to where my grandparents live. They have a nice dining area and dark ambiance but it fits the vibe. We started with the pot stickers. It came with 6 and they were delicious and perfectly crispy. It also came with the amazing dipping sauce on the side. I had the chicken and shrimp fried rice. I paid extra to have both but not terrible. The shrimp were large and not fishy; they were cooked well and easy to get the tail off. The chicken was also delicious with no sketchy pieces. I loved the fried rice. It was incredibly flavorful and mildly spicy. I asked for 3 stars but definitely could have done 4! The only thing I didn't like about the fried rice was the immense amount of onions. Thankfully they were large enough to easily pick out. My grandma had the cashew chicken, which was phenomenal. The crispy garlic chicken was breaded and so good. The Currie was also fabulous. Everything we all ordered was phenomenal and I'll definitely be back!!

w h a t d i d I t r y ? * Pad Thai: 4/5 The only reason this dish didn't get 5/5 is because I found the flavor of the sauce to be a bit lacking. From my understanding, Pad Thai is supposed to be a blend of sweet, salty, sour, and savory. I could feel those flavors were there, but they weren't as strong as some other places I've tried. Regardless, this is probably the best Thai restaurant (if not the only Thai place) in Maple Valley so it's good enough for me! * Crab Rangoon: 5/5 There's nothing different about this dish compared to other Thai places. It's a yummy classic. A wonton wrapper filled with cream cheese and imitation crab deep-fried and then served with a sweet and sour red sauce. I love the crunch these things have. a t m o s p h e r e: 4/5 The only times I've been here, it's been quiet. I believe there are only booths available for seating, but my memory could be a little fuzzy. It's also pretty dark in there, similar to typical romantic dinner spots. p a r k i n g: 5/5 Coming from Seattle, it was so nice to have a dedicated parking lot for customers and it's free!

My family and I went back there the day before Thanksgiving. I have to say service was not great at all! The lady who handed us the food didn't even look at us. She just drop the food and go. They gave us the check when we were waiting for our last dish. Instead of apologizing, they asked if we still want our food. The other girls try really hard but they definitely need more training. I must say the food was good and the decor was very nice. I would not go back to dine in but I would order to go and have rice at home.

Maple Valley Thai Cuisine was a pretty good spot for lunch. My colleague and I had a meeting nearby and planned to get lunch afterwards, so here comes Maple Valley Thai Cuisine for the find of the day. Located near several other businesses and the high school in Maple Valley, we visited Maple Valley Thai Cuisine on a weekday for lunch. The restaurant was steady with customers, with a few other parties dining in. The menu wasn't huge; but it had enough items to choose from, including lunch specials that featured a classic entree, which came with rice and phad thai. I ordered a Thai black coffee and the golden noodles, which were yellow curry noodles with veggies and ordered mine with chicken. The food didn't take long to get, and it was pretty tasty. I loved the curry and egg in my dish, which was perfectly mixed with the wide noodles, veggies and chicken. I also ordered mine with four stars, which seemed to be a good amount of heat. The Thai black coffee was refreshing. Overall, if you're looking for some classic Thai food in Maple Valley then the name says it all at Maple Valley Thai Cuisine. Staff was super friendly, food came out quickly and was made fresh. Glad to have checked it out while in the area.

I ordered the Panang Curry and was excited to try a new place. I was shocked by the very small portion size. See the photo attached. For $20, I got a tiny serving. Compared to other places, I always get at least double this much for the same price. The curry itself has great flavor. I saw a sign that said takeout only due to short staffing. I assume they might be having a tough time; however, the cost/serving ratio was way off. Also, I kept finding little black things in my curry. Kind of looked like little thin plastic pieces, unsure. Hadn't seen that before in panang curry. I found at least 5.

Lunch Panang curry - doesn't include rice $17

The whole place feels refreshed in the best way while still keeping that calm, cozy charm that makes you want to linger a little longer. The atmosphere is effortlessly chill. Between the warm wood accents, lush greenery, and soft natural light, it feels like a tiny indoor oasis. It's the kind of spot where you can reset your day with something nourishing in hand. The menu updates have been fantastic. I love that they've added Lotus as an option, but what really stands out is their fresh juice. It's such a treat to walk in and have something made right then and there. They still offer their cold-pressed juices, which is great, but having both options makes it feel more personal and intentional. Their smoothies and açaí bowls are also top-tier, and you can genuinely taste the difference when they use real açaí. My current obsession is the Dragon Breeze with coconut milk instead of coconut water. The dragon fruit, mango, pineapple, and strawberry combo is already incredible, but the coconut milk makes it extra smooth, creamy, and refreshing. It's easily one of the best drinks I've had anywhere. The service is always warm and welcoming, and you can tell there's real care behind everything they do. Our Hive continues to be one of my favorite local spots, and I can't recommend it enough.

Honestly, I always check out reviews before I go to any place just in case, because as we all know, money can be easily made as quickly as it I spent. One review from SF said that this is definitely an underrated Pho spot!!!! I would say I also agree upon entering the restaurant was very clean, including the restroom. The host sat us right away, granted it was empty when we arrived, but slowly picked up and there were lots of Togo orders. I ordered the vegetable pho minus the tofu and they give the option of having vegetable broth or beef broth. I of course, went with the vegetable broth. My lovely lunch partner, foodie in crime went with the steak pho and finished everything. Nothing was left in that bowl. The vegetable pho was packed full of vegetables, which I absolutely love the flavor was savory, not greasy at all. The steak pho he told me was delicious too! The sides were nice and fresh, including the basil which I honestly have to say I'm very picky because sometimes restaurants will bring out basil that is turning and I end up requesting fresh basil or just more basil. We were not hungry enough to order any appetizers or sandwiches off the menu but for sure the next time we're up in this area I will be happy to order. I'm excited to discover a new pho spot to add to my collection. As always, stay safe out there you guys and Thank you for following my reviews and I'll see you at my next bite:0)
