Ok, do you like simple Korean food? Do you like to not have to travel to Lakewood or Federal Way for Korean food? Do you also not like to look at overwhelming menu because the traditional Korean restaurants would have 3-4 pages of menu, which entails food items that typical Americans would not think about eating? Well, I'd say you're in the right place for visiting Iron Pot! Fun fact: the restaurant interior looked like a bar in the former life. I will be frank: I was doubtful about this place at first because I honestly thought the place was gonna be some Americanized Korean restaurant with little portions served and what not. However, I was actually impressed with the whole menu, the service, and the food! My friend and I were seated quickly because we entered right before lunch rush hour. After that, we were given menus and ordered our food shortly. I was caught by surprise when I saw the Banchan dishes were actually decently looking good! Next, my friend ordered Kalbi Beef rice plate, and I had to order the Bibimbap bowl. Everything tasted perfect! Excellent small spot. One of our favorites for Korean food. Three of us ordered a 10 piece sweet garlic Chicken Wings, Bibimbap and a two scoop poke. The chicken is crunchy and flavorful. The Bibimbap is a combination of fresh, tasty and textural. The Banchan is great with a good assortment. The poke is fresh and darn good. The food comes out quickly and cooked extremely well. The service is top notch. Carry out is also available. The restaurant is 40 minutes from us but still a go to. Have been there eight times in the last year. read more

Absolutely amazing!! Family run business, with amazing service. Ordered the beef bulgogi, chicken katsu, chicken wings (bare), and spring rolls and they were all fresh, crispy, and fantastic. The beef bulgogi had such a great flavor. And it of course came with the extras they always provide (kimchi, seaweed salad, potato salad, cucumbers, etc) which were delicious as well. Came here today for lunch. The ambiance was very nice and calming. The service was great! It's run by I think a husband and wife and they are so cute. She kept checking on our meal throughout. I had the pork bulgogi and it came with salad and banchan. The pork was so tender and flavorful. There was a ton of rice, cooked very well. The salad was a perfect amount with a dressing that was creamy and tangy. The banchan was all great. I especially loved the kimchi, cucumbers, and daikon! I will definitely be back! read more

First time dining here and the food was excellent. They brought out a beautiful combination of small plates as a starter with kimchee, radish, cucumber and a few other plates. We shared a poke bowl with a combination of tuna and salmon. The fish was so fresh and the added all the toppings for us. We also shared a bulgogi bowl. The beef was excellent quality and incredibly tender. We tried the spicy chicken wings that were perfectly cooked and a nice combination of sweet and spicy. This restaurant is a MUST. The food was absolutely delicious!! The beef bulgolgi has such an amazing flavor & the chicken katsu is perfectly crispy with that amazing katsu sauce. The server and cook here were both ultra nice to me. The restaurant is a wee too dark for my liking. When I try a new food I like to see what I'm eating. I ordered the bibimbop and it came with a bunch of stuff in little platters. Sadly, I didn't care for almost all of it aside from the beef itself. Wanted to try something new and it didn't work out. That's probably my pallet, and nothing to do with the food itself it just tasted like a lot of really weird flavors put together. Service was fast, and the aunty serving us was incredibly kind. They brought out banchan for everyone, and everything was delicious--with free refills available. The food came out extremely fast. I personally find the service to be a bit slow, you kinda have to flag them down to do anything. That's fine. It's a mom and pop shop and they're doing their best. I wouldn't say this is the best Korean food ever but it's definitely pretty standard. I do have to say, one thing that they are spectacular in is their portion size for the small dishes. Lunch plate comes with yakisoba, rice, veggies and your protein of choice. The poke bowl is yummy, mostly rice if you ask me, and not much of other toppings along with it. Yet it's so yum and fresh! Very limited on space and they don't have a waiting area, so people tend to crowd around the entrance. Staff is very friendly and sweet Food is pretty good I enjoyed it very much; the chicken wings are pricey - 10 little pieces for $18 but packed with flavors and very tender it's on the borderline for me. I was excited to try this place just down the hill from our home. But not happy about how the times posted on yelp, is not the same as the restaurant. We were wanting to support this place so we went in for a late lunch. When we walked in we were told that they're about to close, so we couldn't dine in. So we left no biggie. Second time we tried again, but this time we ordered food to go. I love kbbq, korean wings, basically I love Korean food. My husband likes it but not as much as I do. I've had great Korean wings at several different location around Puget sound. We were both disappointed with our food. Not sure we will be coming back. There are too many great places to get good food. I travel all over just to get good food. Sad about this place because I like to support small businesses.
