Bibimbap with bulgogi all mixed up
    Cynthia T.

Cute little place in downtown Kent. We ordered the bulgogi bibimbap, kalbi and 5 piece spicy wings. Delicious! You could feed 2-3 people with the bibimbap - very generous portion and so good! Loved the variety of sauces on the table and the banchan was super fresh. This place is run by a cute couple who swiftly take your order and get everything prepared and to your table quickly. Awesome place for Korean comfort food!

OMG! Great Food!! 01/07/26 Wednesday lunchtime. Great fast service with cucumber salad, Kimchi, seaweed salad, & corn potato salad served before lunch. The dining room is rustic, comfortable with lighting. I'm sure this place gets packed on weekends. I will definitely be back. You won't go hungry that's for sure. Excellent! Thank you Iron Pot!

Came here today for lunch. The ambiance was very nice and calming. The service was great! It's run by I think a husband and wife and they are so cute. She kept checking on our meal throughout. I had the pork bulgogi and it came with salad and banchan. The pork was so tender and flavorful. There was a ton of rice, cooked very well. The salad was a perfect amount with a dressing that was creamy and tangy. The banchan was all great. I especially loved the kimchi, cucumbers, and daikon! I will definitely be back!

I got the Kalbi plate ($19) and it came with rice and a delicious side salad. Side dishes are amazing, the radish was my favorite. Service was great and the restaurant was small but cozy.

This restaurant is a MUST. The food was absolutely delicious!! The beef bulgolgi has such an amazing flavor & the chicken katsu is perfectly crispy with that amazing katsu sauce. All the sides compliment the meals really well! The pickled radish was AMAZING!! I highly recommend people stop by and try this. The service was absolutely amazing!! They are such sweet people constantly checking in and making sure everything is well! Food came out really fast too. The vibes in restaurant is super cute, a little small but very homey and comfortable!! They have cookies they sell which look amazing!

We ordered Bulgolgi Bimbimbap and a bulgolgi plate.

The food tasted great, wish they had more items but otherwise, my time went well! Thankfully we were able to get a table right away and their service was nice and fast. Nice atmosphere, though the restaurant was smaller than I thought but I'm not complaining.

The server and cook here were both ultra nice to me. The restaurant is a wee too dark for my liking. When I try a new food I like to see what I'm eating. I ordered the bibimbop and it came with a bunch of stuff in little platters. Sadly, I didn't care for almost all of it aside from the beef itself. Wanted to try something new and it didn't work out. That's probably my pallet, and nothing to do with the food itself it just tasted like a lot of really weird flavors put together. The dish itself is very popular though, so I suppose it just wasn't for me unfortunately. I also got a side of spring rolls which were mushy and not my thing either. Oh well.

It was so good. For the price this was a lot of food and every single dish was delicious. My first time eating here and I ordered to go. Service was fast and the to go food was prepped very well. It's a cute little spot in downtown Kent. I would go back again to explore more of their menu.

We tried again a week or so later as my work is close by and we wanted something quick and affordable as we had a comedy show to go to afterwards. As we entered, we were the only ones and we were greeted warmly by the sushi chef and our waitress. Our waitress told us to pick any table we'd like and she brought us menus. Once we had ample time to glance over the menu which honestly had the right amount of items, I got the udon and shrimp tempura while my boyfriend got their Philadelphia roll and chicken katsu. Our waitress asked if we were fine with water and I didn't see a drink section on the menu but they do offer fountain drinks, canned drinks and hot tea. The inside is small but it's cozy and initmate. They have K-pop playing in the background with the music video. There is a good mix of natural lighting from the sun and inside. The bathroom was clean and well-maintained. We received our roll and shrimp tempura first, udon next and finally the chicken katsu. The katsu sauce here is one of the best katsu sauce we've ever had as it had a perfect balance of tangy, sweet and savory flavors. There was a lot of katsu and my boyfriend said the only complaint was he wished there was a bit more rice as the ratio was off. I loved my udon, they give a generous portion of fish cakes, fish balls and a piece of shrimp tempura as well as plenty of tempura flakes. I do wish there was a bit more noodles but that was my only real complaint. The shrimp tempura was good but I do wish there was a bit more sauce. My boyfriend's roll was delicious and fresh! Their hot green tea was also comforting and delightful! The service here is pleasant as our waitress was kind and checked in on us often. She was also courteous and professional with other customers. We look forward to coming back whenever we're hungry for good and affordable sushi and Korean food.

The cashier/server is very sweet! She made sure we were satisfied with our sushi and kept coming back to check in on us. The place is cute inside, it was actually very roomy, has a lot of natural light and they had some K-pop videos playing in the background. The restaurant is tucked away near the closed down Old Country Buffett in Kent East Hill. I really should've tried coming here instead of traveling to Renton for some sushi! But I will definitely return for more of their delicious sushi!!! I would definitely give them a try if you're in the area.

The bench was higher from the table, so sitting was somewhat uncomfortable if you were on the bench side. Ask for the other side of the tables if possible. I liked how you didn't have to worry about smelling like bbq after you left the restaurant so that is a plus! Our group ordered the premium butcher feast ($155) and ordered a couple of appetizers and sides on the HH menu. All of that and it was plenty of food to feed all of us. We got the Wagyu chuck roll steak, marinated Wagyu rib finger, marinated prime zabuton and pork Jowl for the table. I really enjoyed the pork jowl. It was very soft and buttery. Overall, quality of the food was really good and would recommend.

That was some chews fatty meat, honestly all four meats that came with our meal were chewy and a ton of fat. Wagyu should melt in your mouth. All the little side dishes were very good. And we had a Korean rice cake in a cheesy sauce that was good as well. But the bottom line is for $100 that meat is a poor quality. My feeling is sometimes people open up restaurants, advertising Wagyu, and then realize how expensive it is and start making cutbacks.

The lady that was our server poured all the meat on our fryer so half of the meat was stacked on top of each other so it took longer to cooked. We're already on a 90 minute time crunch. If my step dad wasn't pestering the lady for a next round they wouldn't have checked on us and we would've been waiting for 30 minutes. While we were waiting for the second round the lady told us to turn off our heater when we're not using it, the man later came and turned it back on and told us to keep it at level 400-500. And after she repeated our orders, it was incorrect so I correct her. She said "I know", and repeated the wrong order again. When I clarified by listing the correct order, she just rolled her eyes and walked away. Isn't it a server's job to take order, and make sure it's correct? I did not take away from the tips because there are other servers who helped bring our food and refill the banchans, but this encounter made me not want to go back for a while, despite how much I like the food.
