Lunch yesterday with 2 galpals...inside is pretty cool, the food was pretty awful. I had the shrimp salad sandwich with fries...uh...flavorless shredded lettuce with a few tiny bits of shrimp and mayo mixed up. ZERO FLAVOR. My friend had fish tacos..she said it was tasteless, the other had crab cake sandwich..It did have some taste..like waaay too much old bay. We shared chips and salsa..the chips were cold, dripping in oil and no salt, the salsas were just o.k. They need to hire cooks that at least try to know what they are doing! Had to ask for napkins and silverware. Watermelon margarita was tasty..very little tequila. All in all..a big YAWN, despite the over the top tiki decor. read more

We have been to Tiki Docks in Riverview numerous times and we are always pleased. Last night, we had tacos, shrimp & pineapple rice and fish & chips. Plus, I had a pina colada. This is certainly not "fine dining", but rather elevated bar food. Everything was excellent and the fish & chips portions were humongous. I began the meal by cutting the fish in half, the plan being to eat half at the restaurant and take the remainder home. The fish itself was lightly breaded, not the least bit oily and cooked perfectly -- and served incredibly hot. The pina coladas, as well as several other popular tropical drinks are prepared and served through something like a Slurpee machine -- and who cares? It was great, capped with a touch of Bumbu rum with pineapple bits throughout. There is a wall of flowing water, illuminated at night, that acts like a sound and sight barrier, to eliminate the sight and sounds of Highway 301 and adding ambiance to the outdoor dining experience. We have been there for birthdays, a graduation, and just for the fun of it and highly recommend this place. read more

We had reservations and STILL had to wait 30 minutes for a table. The hostesses were rude to us as if it were a problem that we made reservations. The waitress was super nice but you could tell she was way overworked. She was practically running to each of her tables and service was still taking forever. The food wasn't horrible but it wasn't worth the insane amount of money they were charging. We ordered two appetizers and grouper sandwiches. It cost nearly $100 and we ended up going through a drive thru on the way home because we were still hungry. read more

Disappointed with everything the first & only time I visited. I was with 3 other people and none of us liked our meal. Server was not friendly and forgot multiple things we asked for. read more

My husband and I went here for lunch about 2wks ago. I knew we would have to wait since this a new restaurant in Riverview.. But the wait for the table wasn't too bad we waited about 35 mins on a Sunday. However once we were seated, we had to wait another 30 mins. Meanwhile there were other people coming in being seated and were served immediately. My husband went up front to find out why no one came to our table to take our order. The lady up front gave him some lazy excuse that they were in the process of changing shifts and they would send a waiter to our table shortly. Meanwhile another couple came in and was seated next to us and was served immediately. The waiter finally arrived apologized for delay again and provided the same excuse that they were in the process of a shift change. Any hoot the food is your typical fried seafood nothing to brag about. The crabs cakes were good and the drinks were so dam good. Omg I love their drinks. I would definitely go back just for drinks. I think they should consider allowing the customers to keep the cups as a souvenir. read more

Tiki Docks Riverview - Salad Near Me - Riverview, Florida

All of the vibes here. Kaitlyn with the purple hair gave some of the best service I've ever had. Will definitely be back!

I've never written a bad review for a restaurant I haven't yet eaten in, but I feel compelled to do so now because I'm not sure we're ever going to get served our food! My husband and I arrived here at 4:00 and were told it would be a 60-90 minute wait for a table. We headed to the inside bar and literally sat here for 15 minutes before anyone asked us what we wanted. All of the people around us were served another round of drinks while we waited. Looking outside, there have been 4-5 empty tables the entire time we have been here. This place is a hot mess with extremely poor customer service. My husband and I have owned and operated many businesses, including food, and there is no excuse for such poor customer service training. We were so excited to come here and this is not we were expecting. It's such a beautiful place, it's a shame! read more

Oh my goodness! Don't eat the fish. Stick to beer. Fishy grouper sandwich and awful Mai Tai. No boat docks. No words. Never again. Too bad it's a great location. read more

We have been waiting over 2 hours when they told us 45 mins. Hostesses just ignore you.

Erin waited on our table. What a great employee she was wonderful. I had the fish and chips. A very good dinner.

Please be aware that none of the staff wears masks. When we asked if our waitress was vaccinated, she proudly said, "No." All four of us were uncomfortable whenever she approached the table. I ordered the blackened grouper sandwich and it was overcooked and the tomatoes were not ripe. The coconut shrimp was fried portly. The crab cakes were mostly breading. The view was nice. read more

First time there. Waitress was training a man. We went there for the first time for my husband's birthday. We ordered the watermelon appetizer, the ceviche, and the fish tacos. The watermelon was incredible, as was the tacos. The ceviche was horrible, not edible. No big deal we loved the atmosphere. But... unfortunately the waitress was awful. She was very nice when taking our order, but did not return. We had to flag her down to get any service at all. Her name was Christine or Christina. I hope the trainee has a better mentor. She didn't ask us how our food was. We had to find her just to get the check. We will try it again because most of the food was delicious. But sure hope we have a different server. Very disappointing. read more

The food was sub par and overpriced. The atmosphere was pleasant, but customer service was below average. This restaurant is not worth the time and energy. read more

Angel was our server. He was very personable and gave us great service without being overbearing! It is always a great experience here and we would love to have Angel as a server again. read more

restaurant or sewage plant i had no clue what to expect but it was completely horrible i could find better food on the side of the road in a trash can. Seats were bad left butt cheek fell asleep 5 mins into the pre dinner snack. Arms were glued to the table due to once a year cleanings!! Also bring industrial head phones to block out the ear piercing music. read more

Over rated for long wait and very crazy ordering process. Wait staff was clueless on orders and really did not have a friendly demeanor

Nice place HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! My husband ordered his food & I ordered mine at the same time they served his food and I never received mine. After 45 minutes he asked the server about my order she forgot to place my order & when she placed his! She didn't place the correct order for me either and still charged full price and had the nerve to ask me if she could still get the rest of my order when we were leaving! First time ever visiting the establishment and I won't be going back when the server didn't care if I was upset over being ignored as a customer. read more

We had a reservation at 2:00 for a party of five and we had requested outside when we made the reservation. We arrived a few minutes early and waited for our table to be readied. There were several open tables in the shade, where we assumed we would be seated. They asked if we would be OK with shade or partial sun. They were told either was fine. We were then seated in the full sun with no umbrellas. After seeing the accommodations we asked 2 different staff members for a change or umbrellas. Despite open tables in the shade, we were finally told they would "try" to get us an umbrella (We occupied 2 tables together, that actually could utilize 2 umbrellas). There were multiple tables in the shade with umbrellas, but according to the waitress she had to have a manager approve the movement of umbrellas. We then had to wait for this approval and finally we received one umbrella. We had friends from out of town with us and we wanted them to experience the great Florida weather, but members of our party had been sun burned earlier in the weekend and we also had someone with skin cancer issues. I don't understand, as large as their covered deck encompasses and with several unoccupied tables, why they did not move our party. We have eaten here many times since they opened and have not had this issue previously. I recommend the management look at their policy concerning umbrellas and outdoor seating. Maybe move umbrellas throughout the day as needed. Our table was also missing condiments. Overall, I wish we had decided on another location for our lunch. read more

Great ambiance, very fun and flavorful dishes. My server Angel Gradiz was so fantastic!! He was Very attentive, helpful w suggestions, very happy and cheerful, great at his job!!! I will return and completely recommend this restaurant, and especially Angel as server!! read more

Food was awesome Nyah was great!!!! Ask for her!!! She'll take care of your every need

Food was less than appetizing and yet overpriced! If you have a seafood allergy don't go here. They fry everything in the same oil. I was very limited in what I could eat and what I ordered ( Angus burger) was horrible. Now, if you just want a drink... you're good. read more

Amazing food, beautiful atmosphere. The service was great and attentive, especially our server, Cecilia. The food came out quickly and tasted very fresh. Will be returning very soon! read more

Party of 4 arrived last Friday night. The Asian Wings were the best around town. Nice that not fried. The other meals OK. The major complaint is food runners have their thumb in your food. No trays. So this is an unsanitary practice, and gross. read more

Was not impressed with the food at all! Seafood didn't taste fresh, portions are small. I had twice as much bread the grouper. Price isn't worth what you get. Services was good! I might go back for a drink because they had a good atmosphere and a very large patio bar overlooking the river but I will stay away from the food! read more

Great atmosphere but that is about all I can say. Waited way to long once seated out of the first two drinks we order off menu. When we did get drinks not that great to taste. Food was good but skimpy on portions. read more

This lace has the best atmosphere and the management is top notch. This has turned into our most favorite place to dine and spend time with friends and family. read more

My husband and I enjoyed the view and our waiter was awesome. Upon entry there was not clear direction on where to. I would go back for drinks BUT NOT THE FOOD. My husband ordered ribs. They were so dry and I ordered the crab cake which were salty and no flavor. The fries was the best part of our dish. read more

Tonight we made it to Tiki Docks for the 1st time. The building is beautiful...the river is nice (actual docks will only add to this!) The drinks were delightful...but the waiter and the food left a lot to be desired! Our friends got there before we did...the waiter came to the table (after I arrived) and asked them if they wanted a refill on their drinks but neglected the two new arrivals to the table! I ordered a grouper sandwich...TWENTY ONE DOLLARS...the grouper was the size of a deck of cards. For $21!! NEVER AGAIN!!! read more

The only thing I liked about this restaurant is the ambiance. The prices weren't that bad. My husband got the crab fries we were not impressed with them. All it was is a handful of fries tons of hot sauce and maybe 2 ounces of crab meat and it was cold. We asked what type of crab it was the waiter didn't know. I got the 1/2 pound steamed shrimp meal the shrimp, potatoes , and corn were all Luke warm. My daughter got the kids chicken tender meal they were salty luke warm and they don't have regular bbq sauce. She got the watermelon with them and it was over ripe and inedible. We also got the weekee watchee watermelon only one piece was not over ripe. They only way I will go back here is if I'm going out with friends for drinks only. read more

Great food and drink. Fantastic ambience. Great for lumch and dinner. The fish spread is amazing.

Went for first time Sunday. Food was not that great and they were out of so many things on menu. Drinks were decent and got good bar service. I had ceviche. Worst I've ever had. My friend got the fish spread. That was better than the ceviche. But the pork rines that come with fish spread were stale. I also got the coconut shrimp because they were out of everything else I was going to order. It was OK. Good place to grab a drink in a nice atmoshpere but not best place for food...... read more

I took my wife here for her birthday. The drinks were phenomenal. We were disappointed to learn that many of the food items on the menu were unavailable; but later learned that they had only been open six weeks so far. The service was top notch. The food we were able to order lacked in presentation but made up for it in taste. The atmosphere was amazing and we look forward to going back when their full menu is available. read more

Dinner today was our first experience here. We started with a drink that was strong and delicious. The server pointed out we had 8 more minutes until happy hour discounts ended. She got us drinks right under the wire! Fish fry dinner was fresh and delish. Loved the energy of the place and our server. Great experience beginning to end. read more

The drinks and atmosphere are great. Food was terrible, especially for the price. Had the crabby fries...soggy frozen fries doused in hot sauce and topped with a miniscule amount of canned crab. Wedge salad was ok but the grouper sandwich, which cost 19 bucks, was awful. So dry that you could barely bite through it. read more

Wait was almost an hour but that's because we were a party of 8. We arrived a half hour after they opened on a Sunday and would recommend that you get there when they open. The atmosphere is nice and the staff was great. The food was just okay. It's bar food. Food seemed frozen-store bought and not fresh. Burger patty seemed like something I could get in the grocery freezer section. Grouper sandwich was flat and barely ate half. Ceviche was good. Cheese quesadillas were okay. Fries good. Salad was just okay. Something you can make at home with throwing mandarin oranges on it. Drinks were good but they were out of watermelon which was all over their menu. They have a great idea, great location just need to get some better house made menu items and they'll have a successful place! Looking forward to when they get it figured out! Love the atmosphere!! It's a beautiful place! read more

Bartenders were great very poor management waited an hour and a half with empty tables for 20 to 30 minutes with nobody being seated this is my first and last experience with this please don't come up if you dont have an hour and a half to wait or longer for seats that they're not sitting people in read more

Our frist time here and after reading some of the reviews I was kinda hesitant but my husband said we needed to see for ourselves so we did and I must say we we pleasantly surprised We went on a Sunday around 5ish and saw that the parking lot was full so we prepared ourselves for a long wait but once again we were surprised we were told 30 for seating but was sat in as little as 10 the outside has very nice views we sat by the waterfallThe waitress Wren was very friendly and being our frist time she was very helpful in helping us with the menu We started out with the Grilled Street Corn very delicious (3 peices sized like if you took one whole ear and broke it in half )For our dinners I got Hawaiian B.L.T with the dock fries and it was very good and a nice size for the price and my hubby had the Island Time Dockwich and being that he is not a potato fan he opted for the watermelon slices instead and again very delish good portion for the price . For frist timers we give it and will be back with friends and family. read more

We were pleased the Tiki finally opened after watching being built for sometime now. Our first visit we were greeted by a pleasant staff, after a brief wait we were seated indoors which was spacious. Our server was attentive and polite, and had a trainee with her. The menu was had plenty of choices, but considerably pricey for a sports pub, as was the beer. I had the grouper sandwich... small piece, big bun, big price and was not that good, spouse had the Dockwich burger and also not that good. We ordered draft beer, during happy hour, 7 bucks. So, down vote on price and food preparation. Ambiance and staff were good. Outdoor deck area over looking river would be a great place to meet the gang for drinks. Hopefully they'll work on the food preparation and prices. read more

Very nice fun atmosphere, staff was great, but, had to wait an hour and a half for a table, and although the food was ok, it was not worth the wait. Also had 3 rum runners from three different bar areas, each one was made different, outside bar being the best, and the bar inside was same price for drink ,but smaller cup. read more
