Wow, wow, wow!! Ugrean... where have you been all my life? I didn't know eating healthy could taste so wonderful. Well, this food court restaurant has been a total game changer for me. I'm seriously thinking about becoming a morning mall walker just so that I can be the first person to get that freshly made salmon as it comes out of the kitchen. Yes!!! I know, it's not just about the salmon. The salad that is underneath that filet is just as amazing. It all seems basic when you look at the ingredients on the menu. But I have been craving the Nostra Salmon since I had it for the first time yesterday. I still can't believe this restaurant is in the food court at Westfield Mall in Brandon. Their first location is actually on Orange Blossom Trail in Orlando. I am so happy they picked Brandon to open their 2nd location. I spoke to the owner while she was making my salad. A lot of love goes into these recipes. They get a delivery of fresh salmon 3 times a week. It's never put in the freezer. It's as fresh as can be. The seasoning on the salmon is simple yet so full of flavor. Nothing is salty, and it's definitely not dry or overcooked. In fact, it's so tender and juicy. The dressing is sea salt, cracked pepper, olive oil, and half of a fresh lemon squeezed on top. I didn't need a fancy dressing for this one. The greens, veggies, olives, and big chunks of feta cheese were all fresh and amazing. I actually felt good after eating this huge salad. Okay, I didn't eat all of it right away. I took the rest of the salad home after devouring the salmon. It was just as good later that evening for dinner. I had seen reviews and pictures on Yelp. I knew I had to try it. I can honestly say that all the 5 star reviews are correct. I wouldn't have known had I not tried it for myself. I can't wait to go back and try the cilantro & shrimp salad as well as her homemade chicken salad. The shrimp looked fantastic! I almost got that instead of the Salmon. Oh, and her chicken salad doesn't have mayo in it. I'm really curious and intrigued by this. I'm a total believer now! read more

We tried this Brandon mall food court place after reading some reviews on Yelp. Super friendly staff and we tried two signature salads - the Orlando Cobb and Sweet Spinach. Very tasty though I recommend dressing on the side. Smoothies look good also. Only drawback, no brewed tea though they do offer sodas and bottled drinks. We got the build your own and it's awesome because you choose what goes in it and there are tons of options. The pictures I took don't show just how much is packed in each salad. Ugrean is so fun and is the closest thing I've found since losing the beloved Sweet Tomatoes (R.I.P. ). They have a menu that's loaded with signature salads, or you have the option to go through all of their veggie options and build your own. the incident im reviewing about happened in february 2023: didn't order, was at mall. i was eating a Starbucks cheese platter and suddenly i see this lady making a complaint about her food being cold. typical. as someone who works in customer service, the best thing you can do is just remake or refund the costumers order. this prevents conflict and then can lead a customer to say, "they fixed their mistake". woman behind the counter started yelling at the customer. again, not how you handle that situation. they were cursing and i don't particularly agree with what the customer did, but she did end up throwing the food at the workers. a response to that would be to walk away, instead the older worker PULLS OUT A KNIFE. the younger worker then proceeds to try to get physical with the customer, and at this point they're both screaming and cursing at this woman. and they're yelling out trying to humiliate her as well. i ended up pulling out my pepper spray because i saw employees ready to be violent. after screaming at everyone, people filming yada yada; customer ends up pouring tea all over their food bar thing i guess and just leaves. again, i don't particularly agree with that but you know...one of the workers did pull out a knife. in fact the younger worker ran out after the customer. older worker was screaming at everyone & threatening bystanders as well. i heard and seen enough. just a display of poor costumer service. i would never scream at a costumer over a complaint, i tell them their options to help them and give them their preferred method of compensation. would've been solved with a single remake or refund of the order. read more

The food looked really really good but I wasn't starving and just wanted to have a smoothie, as I waited for the smoothie I saw they had a vegetarian soup so I asked for a cup of soup. Everything was great so far till it came to pay...I waited with my card in hand and they had a family who came after me skip in line to pay..Not a big deal but still I didn't like that. After they finished, he told me it would be $17! For a $6.99 smoothie and a cup of soup. I paid and tipped and didn't make a fuss but after trying the soup it is mediocre and definitely not worth $10. I would try the food but I felt a bit scammed by the soup.
