    Prime Rib Au Jus

Heard it was the best prime rib in town.....it was our first time in last night and we were beyond impressed. The service from Chrissy was impeccable as well!! Thank you Chrissy for suggesting the calamari and for the attention to detail. I asked for usual-- a water without ice and a slightly dirty martini and it was perfect!! You would be surprised how many people mass it up. Perfect date night!!

We visited on a weekday lunch and discovered their lunch special menu, which offers a surprisingly robust selection of steaks and seafood at remarkably fair prices. I ordered the beer-battered fried fish with sweet potato as my side. The fish was generously portioned, with a crunchy coating. Two enormous onion rings came alongside, and the whole plate was delicious. The sweet potato was also quite good- a hefty serving, topped with butter and cinnamon sugar. Rich, sweet, and the perfect comfort-food complement. My dining companion went for the prime rib. A generous cut, cooked to a perfect rosy, juicy finish, served with mushroom on the side- an utterly satisfying plate. Before our meals arrived, a warm basket of complimentary bread appeared, accompanied by a sweet, fluffy butter-a lovely touch. Service was excellent -- attentive and warm. The space is undeniably dated and on the darker side. The lunch special pricing clearly draws a loyal crowd -- the room was filled with retirees and local regulars, and it's easy to see why. This is the kind of bold, flavorful, old-school steak-and-seafood cooking that never really goes out of style, no matter what food trends come and go. Jesse's is a hidden gem for weekday lunch. Come for the value, stay for the prime rib, and don't skip the bread. Classic, hearty, and genuinely delicious.

In town for the Bocelli concert, The food the service and the ambience were are amazing. What a delicious meal coming from Miami I so appreciate the old pubby vibe..feels like we could be on the English countryside- our server was Chelsea aided by Casey who is in training and absolutely wonderful! I cannot remember when I have had a better prime rib. As a matter of fact, my husband ordered the prime rib and I ordered Jesse's super special and we switched because the prime rib was sooooooo good ! Homemade key lime pie...yes please!Come for the early bird special leave happy and fulfilled pictures to follow. Absolutely love this place!

Made plans for a late lunch, specifically to try the Prime Rib. We started with Shrimp Cocktail and French Onion Soup. Love their soup. The onions aren't mushy and the broth is flavorful. We won't get the shrimp again. I ordered Cod and my partner had the Prime Rib medium rare. My blackened Cod was amazing and the Prime Rib is a must try with button mushrooms and a rich aujus. Our server was delightful, we will be back.

No reservations yet we dined at 6PM and was promptly seated , though the 2 at the front are rude on the phone and slapping the menus down. Management needs to ck it out, a proper out fit would give a more professional appearance Food: never received bread n butter. French onion soup very tasty. Queen cut of prime rib was BIG, we shared. The thickest part was a bit tough.Did an add on of Greek shrimp was good. Baked sweet potato and broccoli w no butter was perfect. Dirty martini BOGO

Tried this place out with a couple of friends. Even though it was early enough in the day (4:30pm) on a Wednesday, it seemed busy. We had a party of 3, but 2 of us arrived first. We weren't able to be seated until EVERYONE was present. The irony is every time we asked if they had a menu for something, we were told they don't but could tell us what's on it (no drink menu, no dessert menu) only basic menu available. My friends ordered the prime rib and one was cooked perfect while the other was overcooked. I ordered the mussels appetizer and thought it was extremely salty, but the escargot was seasoned nicely. Staff was nice overall and mostly attentive considering it was busy. Not sure I'd return though as I didn't see anything that drew me into wanting to come back and try.

So far service she also told me that bogo martinis yasss!! Drink service was pretty quick, so love it. Looking at most of the plates that prime rib looks absolutely amazing but you can actually share it with them like 2 to 3 people so did not get that mom got the salmon.. if they had blue cheese olives, that would be the spot!! Abigail was awesome when I didn't like my nasty clam chowder. She totally changed it to this delicious KFC mashed potatoes for me so she ended up giving me a weird sauce and some horseradish so accommodating. Despite of the look of it is actually really good.

Best prime rib I ever had. I over order and the leftover taste as good as I was there the next day. Atmosphere are old-fashioned feeling cozy and lay back . But the service it's like a five star Rest restaurant. Very attentive and knowledgeable of the menus and history of the restaurant. My iced tea was never empty lol.

I went a weekday for the prime rib lunch special. Surprisingly, there were plenty of people there during lunch before 12. The parking lot is kind of tight but they seemed to have enough parking for the crowd. When you walk in, you can tell it's an old establishment but that's not such a bad thing. I ordered the charbroiled prime rib, my only complaint is that it could've been warmer when served. The salad and baked potato were good. If you're a bread lover like myself, then you'll enjoy the bread but it's best to eat while warm. Overall this is a good place to take a family for dinner.

We were in Brandon to pick up a few things this morning and decided to have lunch at Jesse's Steak and Seafood, on 60. This is one of our favorite places when in Brandon. The restaurant has been around since 1980 and has, in my opinion, earned its reputation for great food and friendly service. We had the house specialty - Prime Rib. I had mine with a Baked Potato and my wife opted for the French Fries. The Prim Rib was cooked to just the level we ordered - Medium. Both of us thoroughly enjoyed our meals. If you have not been to this restaurant you should give it a try when you are in the area.

    Got to love the escargot!!

The inside, as well as the private room was set up nicely. We started with a soup and salad. The Caesar salad was perfectly dressed with a side of croutons. For our entree, we had a choice of two different steaks, salmon, or pasta. They even had vegan steak options, which was plus for me because I love vegan meals. I've never saw that type of option at a steakhouse. Even though I was excited about the vegan options, I ended up having the salmon and mash since it was highly rated. What an AMAZING choice! All yhe while someone that worked there (maybe management or ownwr) was acting a hot mess running around seeming a little inebriated with all the customers. Our servers were great! The appetizers were good...although the dip was served with French fries and the other thing was served with bread. Lamchops were chewy and charred too much...the steak was pretty much rare. Took forever to get the food as well. I've just been to nicer restaurants for less with better quality...this is my 3rd time being here within a few years.....meat has always been subpar, but third try and I think we are done unless getting a drink

We were traveling with an elderly disabled family member who uses a mobility scooter. Although there were designated accessible parking spaces, the ramp leading into the building was so narrow that her scooter couldn't safely use it. Once inside, both the retail store and the restaurant had aisles that were too narrow for the scooter to navigate. As a result, she had to leave the scooter behind and painfully walk with a cane, which left her exhausted before we were even seated. The retail store itself was packed so tightly with merchandise that it felt more like navigating an obstacle course than shopping. Much of the merchandise was gift-shop fare at prices that seemed difficult to justify. The restaurant appeared disorganized from the moment we checked in. We watched multiple parties who arrived after us get seated before we did, including a party of two being seated at a table that could accommodate eight guests. Meanwhile, our elderly disabled relative was told she could wait in a chair next to the restroom. When we were finally called, we were seated at a table at the very back of the restaurant, requiring yet another long and painful walk for our relative. After looking over the menu, we found the prices surprisingly high for the offerings, and there wasn't enough that appealed to our group to justify staying. At that point, we decided to leave without ordering. After driving more than an hour based on the restaurant's reputation, the combination of poor accessibility, disorganized seating, and a menu that didn't provide good value made the trip feel like a complete waste of time. We ended up driving into Plant City instead, where we found a welcoming restaurant with reasonable prices and a much better overall experience.

It was just my Mom and I and we were seated at a hibachi table with 2 other parties. Our chef was amazing! I have been to many Kobe locations and he was THE BEST. He was extremely personable, funny, and had great tricks. He seasoned the food really well and made sure everyone was full on sauces. He really made the meal spectacular. This was my mom's first visit to Kobe and she only had Benihana to compare it to. She was impressed by the portion sizes and the fact that you also got noodles with the meal inside of just rice. We both ordered the shrimp hibachi meals and they were great. We both had so many leftovers to take home and have another full meal the following day. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 was the extreme rushed feeling the servers provided. We were a party of five and arrived on time for our reservation. The restaurant decided to seat us with a very large party that clearly should have had a private area or separate seating arrangement. As we were eating, more and more people from that group kept arriving. There weren't enough seats for them, yet they were allowed to stand directly behind both their party and ours the entire time. What made it worse was that no one from the restaurant addressed it -- not the chef, not the waitress, no one. One of the men standing behind us repeatedly leaned over and ate food directly off the plates of his party. It was chaotic, uncomfortable, and honestly gross. We ended up rushing through dinner just to leave. Our waitress was actually very sweet and did her best, but she was clearly being disrespected and overwhelmed by that large party as well. The food itself was just okay, and the way large amounts of food were being thrown onto plates felt sloppy and unappetizing. Before leaving, we asked to speak to a manager. He apologized, acknowledged that the situation should have been handled differently, and gave us a $50 credit. While we appreciated the apology, it was never really about the money. We simply wanted a nice evening celebrating my mom's milestone birthday, and instead we left stressed and disappointed. Sadly, we will not be returning.
