Been here a few times and I can say this is probably the best spot in Brandon to get delicious Cajun seafood boils. They have different spice levels and flavors so depending on what you want you can enjoy your seafood boil.

If you want that ambiance of Joe's Crab Shack (a staple back in the day), but can't find one anymore... go to Hot N Crazy Crab. Loved the seafood boils and drinks. The have a bar and dine-in area and we've never had any issues with wait times. Definitely a place to go to when you want a good seafood boils, his puppies and special drinks.

Ok so at first we were going to go to Mr. And Mrs. Crab but the line was ridiculous so we decided to give this place a try. We were seated immediately. 3 adults and one infant. The place wasn't too crowded either. Our waiter greeted us and explained everything in great detail So many options! We all decided to get Special Combo B which came with 1/2 lb of snow crab legs, 1 lb of shrimp without the head, and 1/2 lb of sausage and 2 potatoes and 2 corn on the cob. The hot n juicy crab special sauce consisted of Cajun, garlic butter, and lemon pepper seasoning. I chose medium and the other two adults chose mild. They give u a bib and gloves so u won't get dirty as well. Y'all, the food was so freaking good! So much flavor. The portions were great! We really enjoyed it. I only wish it came with some kinda garlic bread. But overall, we were full as a pig. We would definitely come back!

A Bib they had you lol

Seafood still fresh and delicious as always love the spring rolls the sweet potato waffles fries. Crab legs shrimps were on point with their seasoning.. the service was great too no issues or problems. So if you enjoy crab legs & lobster etc seasoning this is the place here in Brandon area. Like the atmosphere too.

Great choice! Arrived shortly after opening for lunch, welcomed upon entry and seated immediately. Tiffany, our server arrived within a short period of time took refreshment orders, returned immediately and gave us time to review the menu. Viewed website before arrival, ordered the catfish lunch: 3 fried fillets with Cajun-seasoned fries -- good choice. My daughter ordered chicken tenders with Cajun fries. Granddaughter chose the shrimp with head with Garlic Butter. This order also came with boiled potatoes and a half corn cob. Every meal was delicious and tasty, and portions were sufficient. Ranch dressing and ketchup also provided upon request. Inside decor nicely done. Plenty of seating included booths and tables as well as seating at the bar. Menu prices comparable to local area. Plenty of parking but finding a space can be challenging. Note: there's a ramp at the curb near restaurant entrance. Overall, found this to be comfortable while enjoying a delicious lunch. Would recommend!

I got the special number D which was amazing. I added Ramen and an egg to it and honestly the prices were pretty good! The restaurant was so cute and perfectly themed. Great place for some seafood!

This was such a comfortable, wonderful dining atmosphere. The food was fantastic. I ordered a half a pound of king crabs and a half a pound of crawdads. It comes with two boiled potatoes and half your corn.. Although they messed up my order by bringing me snow crabs instead it was still delicious. We also had hush puppies, which of course are always yummy to have with seafood. The hubby had chicken tenders that he was very happy with the service was nice. I would like to go back there again. They had a wonderful menu.

I was able to order my food online! I chose the immediate pickup option which was a 25min wait from the type of order. You can also schedule a time for pickup. I liked that I could order online and then pay in the store! When I arrived, the parking lot had plenty of parking spots available. My food was ready on time! I asked if they had veterans/military discount and they did! Huge plus! The customer service that I received was great! No complaints. My transaction was quick and easy! I did glance inside and saw a clean and spacious restaurant. The ambiance is casual. The food was good! Pricey but comparable to other Cajun seafood restaurants in the area. Our food was a little on the salty side but still good. I ordered a Cajun combo of headless shrimp and crab legs. I do recommend them and will order again!

So we were looking for a seafood place with "boils" and this place popped up. It's out of the way in a small strip mall but boy o boy is it with the trip. Service was great, staff very friendly and attentive. Great choice of appetizers and more seafood choices then you can fathom. The food is served hot and really fast. Actually too fast as we were only half way through the appetizer when the main meals shows up. Prices are reasonable considering the spikes in food prices especially seafood. If you get a chance give this a try you shouldn't be disappointed.

SORRY IF I GOT IT WRONG)...Anywho, for our APPETIZER: we had Kibbeh (ground beef with onions and peppers fried inside dough)...YUMMYYYYYY! ENTREE: Mix Shish - Chicken Shish (Chunks of skewered marinated chicken) and Lamb Adana (ground lamb with onion and peppers, basically a Shish kebab, but instead of Chunks, its ground on a skewer)...so flavorful, no complaints about those either. It comes with a yogurt base sauce(similar to Tzatziki- sauce for Gyros), grilled veggies, and salad. The grilled Serrano was spicy and I loved it! DRINKS: Turkish Coffee, Tea, & Beer. All have great flavors. Beer reminded me of a Stella Artois. DESSERT: Kunefe - it sort of looks like a small cake made of shredded dough, cheese, and topped with with the sugary syrup. OMG, TO DIE FOR! SERVICE: Great, our server was super nice and knowledgeable. We were greeted upon entering and our water cups remained filled. If you're a foodie like us, it says a lot when you never have to ask for more water. We will definitely return SOON!

With that being said, everyone was extremely friendly, but it did take awhile for our drinks to be refilled and place orders. Onto the food, everything I had was really good, but I just feel like it was overpriced, especially considering the small portions. I really couldn't overlook that there are plenty of options in Tampa, Saint Pete, Tarpon Springs at a cheaper price with larger portions and this is Brandon. I will give them another shot just in case my experience was off because again, everything did taste really good, but I just didn't see a wow factor appeal that would bring me back over other Mediterranean restaurants in our area.

Alright, folks, gather 'round as I, a lifelong Valrico local, spin a heartfelt yarn about Willie's…read moreSeafood at 1912 Main Street, the place that's been the heartbeat of my life since I was a kid. Born and raised right here in Valrico, Florida, I was brought to Willie's by my granddad, who called it his favorite spot in town. It's been a constant through every chapter of my life--birthdays, heartbreaks, and everything in between. This five-star review is a love letter to Willie's, a seafood haven that's served up memories as rich as their fried catfish and kept me comin' back for decades. From the time I could barely see over the table, Granddad would lead me through Willie's doors, his calloused hand in mine, promisin' the best meal in town. The place felt like a second home--still does. The cozy, weathered interior, with its wooden walls covered in fishing nets, old photos of Valrico's early days, and mounted fish, wraps you in a warm hug of nostalgia. The jukebox in the corner hums old country tunes, and the checkered tablecloths remind me of Granddad's stories about fishin' in the Gulf. He'd sit me down, order a basket of fried shrimp and hush puppies, and tell me, "this here's real Florida eatin'." That first bite of crispy, golden shrimp, dipped in tangy cocktail sauce, was like tastin' the ocean itself--fresh, simple, and perfect. Willie's menu is a love song to seafood, and I've loved every note since I was a kid. Their fried catfish, a Granddad favorite, is still the gold standard--flaky, moist, with a cornmeal crust so crisp it crunches like autumn leaves. The all-you-can-eat nights--catfish, shrimp, haddock, and clam strips on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays--are a tradition I've kept alive, especially now with my own kids. The gator bites, spicy and tender, are a thrill I discovered as a teenager, sneakin' bites off Granddad's plate. Their blackened mahi-mahi, served with creamy grits, is a nod to Florida's coastal soul, with a spice kick that wakes you right up. Even the sides--coleslaw cool as a summer breeze, hush puppies golden and sweet--feel like they were made with love. And don't get me started on the key lime pie; it's tart, creamy perfection that Granddad always saved room for, claimin' it was "better'n any dessert in Tampa." After he passed, I'd sit at our usual table, order his favorite catfish dinner, and feel him right there with me. Now, I bring my family, watchin' my daughter giggle over her popcorn shrimp, just like I did. The staff, some of whom have been here since I was young, treat you like kin. They'd slip me extra hush puppies as a kid, and now they know my order by heart--fried shrimp, fries, and a sweet tea, just like Granddad's. The place ain't fancy, but that's the charm. It's a family-owned gem, run by folks who've been at it since the '70s, and it shows in every bite. The prices are fair--$15.99 for a catfish filet with sides feels like a steal for the quality. The service is quick, even when the place is packed with locals like me, all drawn by the same comfort and flavor. Sure, some might say it's a bit old-school, but that's what makes it special. It's not tryin' to be a chain or a tourist trap--it's just Willie's, servin' up seafood that tastes like home. I've lived in Valrico my whole life, and Willie's has been there for every milestone--first dates, graduations, even quiet nights when I just needed a taste of the past. It's where I learned to love seafood, where Granddad's stories came alive, and where I still feel him every time I walk in. The food, the warmth, the memories--they're all part of me. Willie's Seafood is a five-star treasure, a place that's fed my body and soul for decades. I'll keep comin' back, bringin' my kids and someday their kids, to keep Granddad's favorite spot alive in our hearts.
