Social distancing, and masks are required. It's super clean in this restaurant, and there are photos of some of the food before ordering. This week was our first time at this restaurant, and we were glad we were in the area and stopped for take out. The male employee was really nice, and very attentive. We ordered shrimp and crab boil. I ate some, but my husband and oldest son really loved the food. We also ordered catfish well done with lemon pepper seasoning. They have lunch specials, but it was after 3:00, so we had missed it since it was about 4:30. If we are in the area again, we will take out again.

I love their food. Today I found a piece do hair in my crab right as I was finishing. I was damn near done when I found it so I didn't call but I was pissed. I know this isn't my hair ‍

I went with their mild version of their house sauce, which combines their mild, lemon pepper, and garlic flavor.

I'm guessing many bad reviews because of the interior. I was expecting it to be a decent sized restaurant. I was mistaken. It was very small. It reminded me of an old Chinese food restaurant. The 4 booths that were there to eat in house were either taken or just not cleaned yet. We decided to take our food to go. They had a special for boil combos B & C for $39.99. That is what we decided to get. The food smelled so good from the ride home, to when we opened it. We dumped all of the contents into a huge bowl. It was decent sized portions. The dummy crab seasoning was garlicky and delicious!! There was so much seafood. We couldn't finish it all that night. We did have the rest for dinner the next night. It was still so tasty!! The best part about it was that neither of us got sick the next day. We were worried. Previously we both got sick on a seafood boil from a different restaurant. This was also in a different state. Needless to say, we will be getting seafood from dummy Crabby again!!

Their happy hour is one of the best deals in Tampa. The $1 oysters are huge, super fresh, and so tasty The $5 shrimp tacos might be the best tacos I've ever had. Packed with flavor, perfectly cooked, and such a crazy good price for happy hour. Make sure to order the Fin & Tonic. It's refreshing, delicious, and even comes with an edible flower. If you're looking for amazing seafood, great drinks, and a chill neighborhood spot, Trophy Fish is a Seminole Heights standout. For food, the fish was incredibly fresh. Simple, flavorful, and done right. If you're picky about seafood, this is the place that will convert you. Portions are solid, prices are fair, and everything tastes like it came straight off a boat. Service is friendly, the atmosphere is relaxed, and it's honestly one of the easiest places to hang out for a few hours without realizing how much time has passed. If you're in the area and want fresh fish + great cocktails, Trophy Fish is definitely worth the stop.

Located on the corner of W Cleveland Street & S Dale Marbry Highway, in the Bon Air Neighborhood, Shells Seafood is very easy to get to. A talk sign that towers over the restaurant can be seen from hundreds of feet away while driving; it's hard to miss the sign. Plenty of parking in the stalls on the property as well as neighborhood parking and local stores adjacent parking spots. Once inside, you are greeted by the cute looking host at the nicely decorated front reception. She seats you immediately to a an open floor spacing with two sides of seating and a centralized semi-circle bar area. There are roughly over 30 tables and plenty of room to accommodate small to larger. The cajun boil here is fabulous! Loved every minute of it. Will be visiting again ... maybe not during the hurricane seasons. :)

We were the first customers and the inside is small but clean and cozy. Staff was friendly. We ordered the snow crab feast and a calamari appetizer. The calamari was ok it wasn't seasoned. The snow crab feast came with coleslaw, corn, potatoes, and 4 pieces of crab leg sections. It was good but not great, the pieces didn't come out of the shell very easily and the pieces we did get out were pretty small, but we enjoyed the flavor and the experience very much.

The fried fish was excellent and the shrimp based slaw was innovative and interesting. We weren't too crazy because the fried are coated and the hush puppies were way over cooked with a weird batter/dough that reminded mea lot of an undercooked corn bread. Yes, the dark brown spheres on the bottom of the plate were hushpuppies. Service was excellent with the waiter checking in on us and refilling drinks. That might have been easier because we were late in coming in for lunch, so it wasn't really crowded. I imagine that during a busy dinner service, it's probably pretty loud, but here it was just a nice quite cafe feel. The big takeaway - the seafood was excellent. It was fresh, hot, well cooked. But the sides seem to fall down, nothing except the slaw was something I want again. So come for the seafood, but lower your expectations for the slaw.
