Kraby Crab - Online special! - Seafood Near Me - Tampa, Florida

Disclaimer this is an ubereats order. Food is being rated how it was presented to me! Butter sauce was an absolute 10/10 best in Tampa? Idk about all of that lol (hence their sign). Tray could have used more sausage. They were good just seemed to be over cooked and loss flavor. Potatoes way too big. Threw a few away and the flavorless corn. Blue crabs were empty. Could be the season, but I'd definitely avoid ordering them around this time of year at all costs. I'm just greedy and had to see what was up lol. Overall my meal was a calm 7/10, would I try them again? Yes, the flavor is on point but the quality of the seafood just isn't quite there.. read more

THE CAJUN SAUCE is ELITE!!! We ordered a crab platter and a couple of Shrimp Po Boys. If you're familiar with the world famous Parkway Po Boy in Nawlins this Po Boy competes. The bread was the best in Tampa and the Cajun sauce too. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT! The crab was decent for snow crab and the sauce again seals the deal! The owners and operator work super hard to please their patrons. The ambiance and service were both great! Well worth the money! read more

Kraby Crab - Seafood Near Me - Tampa, Florida

Everytime I come to Florida this is the seafood boil place I go to! The menu keeps changing so I feel like you cant go off of the yelp pictures alone anymore but if you call them and ask there always happy to clear up any confusion. This place is really really good for big trays of seafood for events or family gatherings. They have so many different combos to choose from. And dont worry fam, one pan alone can feed up to 4 people in my opinion. This time I ordered 2 pans because I wanted a seperate pan just of blue crabs to try, but even my blue crab tray came with 12 shrimp, 4 potatoes, and 4 corns so it was definitely more than enough food along with a snow crab family tray. I advise you to call ahead and order to pick up, Because it will take a good 30 to 45 mins. Also, if you want individual platters just for one person they have that to. Which I will definitely get on the way home;) read more

If you are craving seafood, the food here will scratch that itch. What I have tried is good, but not great. Make sure you call your order in ahead of time; you will still end up waiting, just not as long. I got the impression that they make one order at a time, then move on to the next ticket. I called ahead and the order taker was very helpful, managing to match up what I was looking for with one of their platters. Unfortunately, they were out of blue crabs (another reviewer said that they are always "out") so I ended up with snow crab clusters. The platter I had consisted of two clusters, tiny pieces of sausage, tiny shrimp, potatoes, and a piece of corn. The whole dish was drenched in garlic butter which gave it some flavor, but unfortunately you could still tell that the shrimp and crab had been frozen and were way overcooked. I'm not sure there are even spots to eat inside the restaurant, but KK2 is a decent seafood to-go option. read more

I was going to order from this restaurant on UberEats. I was planning on getting two orders of peanuts and an order of fried shrimp, which is shown with fries in the photo. On Ubereats, WITH FEES, my total came out to $23. I decided to actually not be lazy and call in the order to pick up. I was told my order would be ready in 12-15 minutes so I left my house and went to the restaurant. I'm not even mad that the order still wasn't ready when I got there, I'm mad because my total came out to $27 AT THE RESTAURANT FOR THE SAME THING I WAS GOING TO ORDER ON UBER. I asked the person ringing me up how my total was more than it be would be on Uber and he told me that the shrimp doesn't actually come with fries like the photo, and that if you order on Uber, you get a smaller portion. FOR AN EXTRA $6 (because Uber was charging me a delivery fee) I got the NORMAL portion. Such BS. Don't come to this restaurant. or if you do, order on UberEats and save money and time. Who would've thought. Sidenote: shrimp are wayyyyyy smaller than the picture ON TOP of not coming with fries. read more

I have been looking at this place on Yelp since I moved here almost a year ago! I am a big time seafood lover and this is definitely where I will come back to get my seafood . One of the workers was very nice talking to us and telling us about their business! I heard about the long waits for food bc everything is made to order! Luckily we only had to wait about 15 minutes . Everything tasted great !! I will definitely come back ! They have some awesome prices as well ! I really prefer to cook my own eggs so I added eggs to mine once I got hoke read more

Found this place one afternoon when I didn't want to travel all the way to St.pete for my normal seafood spot. Let me tell you, I am so HAPPY I found this place. The food is sooooooooo good, I don't know what kind of seasonings they use but it is absolutely amazing and the prices are very reasonable for seafood. Spent around $45 for two big seafood platters, soup, appetizer, and some amazing slushy made of fruit. Please give this place a try if you're craving seafood. *Side note: you have to take it to go, not much room to eat it there* read more

We were happy with our takeout on a Sunday afternoon. I can say it was quite busy and we had to wait an additional 20 mins ok top of our 30 min wait time. All good, I'd rather see these establishments making money during these times. Prices are good, as comparable as some of the other seafood shacks in the area. I don't know that the quality of the seafood is as high as some big name restaurants but non the less very tasty and flavorful. read more

*UPDATED* Visiting from Cali and I can never give up on my place. I love the owner... as always he greets you with a smile and ready to help you customize any platter you may fancy. I also love the new look, more spacious and you would think that because it is a seafood place you would smell a strong fishy smell, NOT AT ALL! The place is always clean and I can truly appreciate that... Nevertheless, I got a wonderful platter as always and devoured it with my loves. I will return every chance I get lol read more

I'm sorry but this place has felt off. We live outside Tampa so whenever we were in Tampa this would be our stop. We last year we noticed the food taste and quality was different from past times we were there so we stop going. Fast forward to 2022 and I took my daughter there yesterday and although the guy Sal is extremely nice and we like him,his food is not the same anymore! The shrimp are always over cooked and this time I noticed he changed the sausage! This new sausage is cheap fake hickory sausage and it's nasty so I threw it away. This place isn't cheap but it seems he's went up on the price and down on the quality of food he's putting out. Although Sal is a very nice man I can only give this place 2 at the most when at one time I gave it 4 read more

Called in my order and it was ready in about 25 minutes. Parking is a little scary as it's on a heavily trafficked road. When you arrive, they open your order to assure you everything is there. Everything was rather tasty, however it was slightly salty (especially the sausage). read more

We drove over eight hours from north Georgia and hadn't eaten since breakfast. We got to the hotel starving and wanted some seafood so we settled on getting delivery from this place. Huge mistake! The crab legs tasted old, and we had no way to crack them. The boiled shrimp tasted very old and were not Deveined. Fried shrimp were not deveined. Hush puppies were overcooked and very dry. Corn was mushy and completely flavorless. They gave us NO silverware, NO napkins, NO sauces. They left out the lemon juice I specifically called to request. They were also kind of rude on the phone. They said they only had packet lemon juice not lemons. What kind of seafood place doesn't have lemon wedges?? I will say the potatoes were the ONLY truly edible thing. While I had to eat them with my fingers and they were super messy, they were delicious. I paid over $90 including tip and delivery for 6 half potatoes and 4 bottled drinks. Very unhappy. DoorDash gave us a partial refund but we still ended up paying about $35 for potatoes and drinks. read more

This location is not comparable with the largo location. Every time I call, they don't have the blue crab. Somehow they need to remove from the menu. Although they don't have blue crab, I decided to paid them a visit to try other items in the menu. I order a 15 fried shrimp and scallops special. The 15 shrimp is about $10 and the scallops is $5. The wait is the main problem for this store. I was informed about 15 minutes to 20 minutes wait. It end up the wait is 35 minutes. The size of the shrimp is tiny. The taste is not nearly good. It is about same as frozen quality from supermarket. $16 total is in the high side for take out standard. A lot of improvement can be made for this store. read more

At first site you go hmmm..... when you walk in makes you do a double hmmmm... the menu is posted on the wall. They have a " wall of fame " of sticky notes from Customers that have left their comments. So you start reading them and go well, everyone is leaving positive comments. We watched a Customer receive her food who graciously let us peek at it. We were sold and ordered the same thing. We smashed!! My daughter discovered this place. It is delicious. Not sure why it's called Krispy Krab 2 the outside of the building says Tasty Crabs but no biggie. Omgggg we had the best dinner tonight! I was craving crab legs. So I googled best crab legs near me in Tampa. They were Take out only. We ordered the #11. Everything tasted great, the garlic butter sauce that all the food was soaked in was AMAZING! I'm a wimp on spicy, there was some crushed red pepper in the sauce but I would give it a 2-3 out of 10 on the spice level the sausage was I believe Kabasa sausage, which I'm not a huge fan of but didn't make the meal any less. My husband and I were STUFFED, leaving some sausage behind. The corn and potatoes were sooo good too. Shrimp and mussels were good too. What I appreciated... when I answered the phone the guy seemed super straightforward. I find places like these very intimidating to order from, usually in a hurry and not the best customer service. I told him I had never ordered there before and he was very nice and patient answering any questions I had. When I got there he was nice and friendly, showed us our food before we took off. Looked and smelled AMAZING! We will definitely be going back. You can find the most updated menu I. I ordered shrimp and a side of boiled eggs (delivered, via Uber) last night. The food was cold and obviously (leftover from the day): everything was saturated in over-seasoned, cold gravy, which was not in the menu description! The worst meal that I have ever ordered, and I had to discard most of it; because I did not want to become ill. I will "never" dine on food from "Kraby Crab' again (first and only try). Please do not order food from this place. read more

The ambiance was lack luster but the food was delicious. This is a place your order, pick it up and leave type of "restaurant". This "restaurant" doubles as the neighborhood corner store so you can grab a can of SPAM or toothpaste if need be. It's really odd but you quickly get over it once you see everyone's food. Before your order gets bagged to go it's opened from the styrofoam container for you to review...talk about quality control . Anyway it looks great and by the time i got home it was still pipping hot and man oh man it was good. Ok good is an understatement it was great. The flavors were rich and I was satisfied with the quantity. Would i go back.... yes but this also depends on who would accompany me. Great prices and selections at affordable prices. This place sells everything seafood. From lobster tails to mussels, the options are endless. You also have options on how these items are prepared. My favorite is steamed with spicy garlic butter sauce but others may prefer fried seafood. Krispy Krab can definitely accommodate both requests. My only reason for 4 stars was the wait time. I learned quickly to call at least 30 minutes ahead. I ordered blue crabs, shrimp and crawfish. This was a $21 meal that included corn and potatoes. The garlic butter was excellent. It had just the right amount of spice. This place may look like a hole in the wall, but it is a hidden treasure. read more

We really enjoyed our meals from Krispy Krab. I got the medium snow crab which came with 2 claws, potatoes and corn. My husband got the #1. We have this crab place in Miami we love so we were worried about this living up to that. My husband said he actually like this place better! The flavors were very good. The sauce/butter/garlicky deliciousness was so good and I literally could eat it on anything. We felt it was kind of expensive but again very good flavors. The best seafood boil ! Very friendly owner ! Every time I'm in Tampa I want to make sure to order some to take it home !

I don't even quite know where to begin. Me and my girlfriend just finished eating and wow. Called our order in and spoke with the nicest man, who made it his effort to get exactly what we wanted at the cheapest price. Got there about 30 minutes later, and the line was about 7 people. As we were there for the next 15 minutes, people kept filing in and out. You could tell this place gets a lot of business based on the quality and prices of their food. With our food secured, we made the 25 minute drive back to my house. We tore this food up. Everything was so fresh and that spicy garlic sauce. Sheesh. omg the absolute best crab legs ever and the owner and family were so welcoming. this was our first time but we will be back for sure

I must admit that the customer service was terrific. However, the quality and taste of the food could have been better. We spent $89 on seafood, and the shrimp did not have flavor. In addition to that, the shrimp was mushy. The boiled peanuts were too salty, and the snow crabs were cold. It appeared that it was not prepared fresh. We also asked for garlic butter, which differed from the traditional garlic butter you would get from a seafood boil restaurant. I am very disappointed, and I wanted to share my experience.
