This is their complaint and suggestions box in the ceiling.

I had an okay experience overall, but there were a few issues that stood out. The food was decent, but I wasn't able to eat more than half a pound and asked the manager if there were any lighter options. I was told there were no substitutions, which is understandable, but it would be nice if there were options for customers who prefer lighter portions. I also didn't appreciate being told that I should have looked at the menu beforehand--it didn't feel like great customer service. On top of that, I felt rushed to leave even though my allotted time wasn't up yet, which made the experience uncomfortable. Additionally, the complaint or suggestion box being placed on the ceiling felt inconvenient and not very customer-friendly. Overall, there's definitely room for improvement, especially when it comes to customer service and accommodating different customer needs.

I have been looking for a bomb seafood boil for a long time now. This place exceeded my expectations! The boil was a 10/10 and the deals they had on a Friday.. blew me away. I got two pounds of crab legs for only $36 and let me tell you, each leg was filled to the brim with meat. The sauce I got in a medium was super flavorful and fresh. I ordered mine with sausage, eggs, and a side of rice and it was delicious. They had so many bogo deals that I will be back for more. The space is small but comfortable enough for people to sit and enjoy their food. The service was nice! The girl taking my order was very thorough and explained all my options so I got the best bang for my buck. I will absolutely be back to try the fried seafood and other boil options with my friends and family! Do not hesitate, come and try it for yourself!

Needs Some Tweaks to Be Worth It We went for the all-you-can-eat seafood boils, hoping for a feast, but the experience had some hiccups. The service was slow, which made everything feel like it took forever. The seating arrangement wasn't great--we ended up next to a huge group that kept growing, and at times, it felt like they were sitting at our table. Not really the server's fault, but because they kept changing their orders, we were kind of forgotten. For the price, it didn't feel like we got our money's worth. One odd thing--the eggs in the boil aren't unlimited, even though they're listed on the menu with no extra charge. The seasoning could have been better, but it wasn't bad. The seafood itself was good, though maybe a little over-steamed, making the crab legs and crawfish shells softer than they should be. The all-you-can-eat concept could be great if the service was more attentive and better balanced. Overall, a decent idea, just not executed well enough to justify the price. We would give it a try again maybe not at dinner time.

The food is served hot and fresh every time. They always have good deals! This location is clean and the staff was so polite

Not only do I come here a lot and enjoy their food. I ordered on DoorDash today and joking. I said if you're feeling generous, can you give a potato and corn they had the best response and gave it to me. Please come visit them. The management is great. The food is great and the workers are great.

The location is small but you get you food in about 5 to 8minutes after ordering. Service was really fast and amazing. This is the best seafood boil I have ever had. The sauce was amazing and perfect spice level so you can enjoy your food. Every thing we ordered was amazing. Sausage, eggs, crab lega, oysters, mussels, crayfish and shrimp. This place is cost effective with their BOGO DEALS. Definitely will be back.

I'd never heard of a BOGO deal here, but we made the 30-minute drive, and it was totally worth it--I'd go back 100%! The seasoning was spot on--packed with flavor but not overly salty. Generous portions, Pepsi products, clean bathrooms, and excellent customer service. Loved that they provide large wipes at the end, so you can use as many as you need instead of those little packets. Plenty of parking, and the place is easy to find. The internet was a bit slow, but honestly, I was too busy enjoying the food to care! Definitely give them a try!

Lured here by the prospect of their BOGO 1 lb of snow crab deal which did not disappoint. (Other deals include, buy 1 lb of snow crab, get 1 lb of headless shrimp for free, BOGO combo C) The prices were great and quality was not sacrificed. I was a little scared the seafood would not be the freshest with the BOGO deal but everything was great quality. We got BOGO snow crab, a 1/2 lb of crawfish ($7.95) and 1/2 lb of shrimp ($8.95). The BOGO snow crab came with 4 corn and 6 potatoes, all for $30.95 (for comparison Mr. and Mrs. Crab has snow crab for $38/lb). The snow crab was fresh and meaty. The corn was so sweet and fresh as well and the potatoes were huge. A few of the crawfish was a little chewy but not so much so that it was unenjoyable. The shrimp was nice and thick. Very good value, bang for your buck. The only qualm I have is that I feel like the sauce is not as good as some other places. Don't get me wrong, it's very enjoyable but just slightly not as rich, complex in flavoring. It could possibly be because they gave us mild when we asked for medium though. Service was also good, they came to check on us a few times. Also love the tin plates they gave us, those were so fun. The inside is open and clean. Although we brought our own gloves, I really liked that they had a glove dispenser on the table because I've definitely had times at other places where I had to ask for glove replacements. Overall, I'd love to come back. Such a good deal and so delicious too! You can really taste the freshness and quality. Very meaty selections. It's a little far from my house ~30-45 mins but otherwise I'd frequent this place a lot more. Also although the BOGO deal is marketed as something for their grand opening, I asked a waitress who said that the deal seems like it will continue indefinitely until the boss decides differently. I would absolutely recommend any and all seafood boil enjoyers to take advantage of this great deal.

First of all, we had amazing service by Amanda who not only served with a smile but took our order…read morediligently and also made many great suggestions! If I had a restaurant I would definitely have Amanda on my team because she is a great asset and constantly checked on us to make sure that we were good to go! Not only that, our order was brought to us in an expedient amount of time and she also made sure that our glasses was always filled with our brevages! I wish to humbly thank amanda for an amazing experience at this location! and our server, Amanda was definitely a little bit more personable, and let us know what our choices were which was great! We had Seafood boils and I ordered the headless shrimp and scallops and oysters and clams.I also ordered a crab cake, and I had some potatoes which were both delectable! Also the calamari was ok but plentiful! My wife ordered some headless shrimp, snow crab legs, scallop, lobster tail, corn with garlic, butter seasoning, mild My daughter ordered headless shrimp, snow crab, scallops, potatoes & eggs. With mild hungry seasoning The fried oysters had too much batter and the crab cakes though were delicious! I just felt that it needed a little bit more seasoning. The Hush Puppies was really good, and it comes with ranch dressing but amanda suggested the garlic butter sauce and it took it over the top, Especially with a little bit of a kick of heat, it's the perfect flavor! The raw oysters was divine and they were great in size, and they also give you cocktail sauce and horseradish and crackers and only $8 a dozen! And our server bought the food so quickly and it was just the appetizer to begin with! I just had the shrimp that was in my seafood boil, and it was so juicy and flavorful. The calamari was definitely on point as well! The potato was very good and soft and flavorful! Although the clams was very small, it did burst in my mouth full of flavor! The scallops was about a 5 out of 10 and they were a little bit smaller than I expected. The Shrimp, once again was definitely big and tasty and not rubbery or dry! Even though I got the garlic butter sauce, I asked for the hungry sauce to simply try it and in my opinion, it is the better tasting sauce! My wife said that her crab legs was perfectly cooked and very tasty! Ken the manager stopped by to receive the accolades for our server Amanda and our food and took the time to chat with us of which I thought was cool! We went on a Saturday afternoon at around 12 o'clock. And we were seated immediately. So there was no waiting! Amanda is off on Sundays so we recommend that you go there when she is there but either way, you will not be disappointed with the food because it definitely made our taste buds and stomach happy for an outstanding price too! Oh yeah, i also received a slice of cheesecake.Because it was my birthday and it was definitely divine! Thank you again Amanda and the entire Hungry Crab crew for an amazing experience!

Review for Hungry Crab First time visiting Hungry Crab and I…read morereally loved the seafood boil atmosphere. The restaurant was clean, fun, and had a great vibe. Our server was very friendly and attentive. The all-you-can-eat option at the Tampa location is definitely worth it. I tried their house seasoning that combines all the flavors, and it was amazing. The food came out hot and fresh. The crab legs were big, the shrimp were large and juicy, and the scallops were huge and delicious. I also had corn, potatoes, eggs, and sausage, and everything was seasoned perfectly. I ended up getting two bags, so I definitely got my money's worth. After the seafood boil we tried a few appetizers and they were surprisingly great. The cheese sticks with Cajun seasoning were my favorite with that perfect cheese pull, and the wings and Cajun fries were delicious too. They also provide bibs, gloves, wipes, and crab tools, which makes the seafood boil experience even better. I've been to Mr. and Mrs. Crab and Dummy Crab, but in my opinion Hungry Crab beats them both. Great flavor, great experience, and definitely worth it!

The seafood was fresh, flavorful, and generously sized. Their Mr. and Mrs. Crab special sauce was absolutely incredible, genuinely one of the best seafood boil sauces I've ever tried. I was honestly surprised to see reviews saying the food was bland or lacked seasoning because, as you can probably see from the photos, our platters had plenty of seasoning. The restaurant itself was very clean, nicely decorated with a fun boat theme, and had a welcoming atmosphere. Our waitress was very kind, and the food came out quickly. Pros: Great customer…read moreservice by Hailey. She checked on me and explained how to eat the crab. She refilled my drink multiple times.. The inside was nicely decorated with many plastic crabs/nets etc. it was very clean. I got the Mr and Mrs Crab seasoning at medium level. It was pretty flavorful. I rarely eat seafood at American restaurants due to it mostly being bland. This was not the case here. The Corn and the lobster were my favorite parts. Cons: Price . For $46 plus tax/tip, I got 1/2 pound snow crab legs, lobster tail ,2 smaller red potatoes,1 half length corn on the cob, and a drink. I can't really blame them for socioeconomic factors, but it was one of the few times I didn't feel full relative to the amount spent. Potatoes didn't really have much spice/sauce in it and felt "isolated" unlike the seafood/corn. Misc: : I've only eaten crab legs decades ago in Red Lobster. For the amount of "work" needed to break and extract the meat with two tools, it is a let down. 6/10 The Lobster Tail fared better. I could eat it manually by picking at it and attacking like Sabertooth killing a helpless Morlock in the tunnels. 8/10 For budget conscious, I'd probably just get 1 pound of shrimp and some corncobs for like $26. Overall: If you grew up eating crab/lobster in New England or other areas and are accustomed to it , this is a nice place to visit. For me it is worth going occasionally and with a different "loadout" of items.
