We went there for Mother's Day and I want to give some grace because I know they were busy but we had to ask for refills on water twice before our server came with refills. My friend ordered collard greens and they came out cold, so they had to bring her out another serving but that took 20 minutes. The fried catfish could have used a little seasoning, the macaroni was a little dry. The place was vibe though and the DJ was playing all the R&B hits... so that part I did love. Went for a birthday brunch on Sunday and it was very calm and quiet. They had the game on and they were also playing some great music so it was definitely the vibe we needed for our Sunday fun day. My home girl and I were restaurant hopping, and decided to check this place out. We came when they were closing, which was great. Not too many people in there. The location is right off the interstate. The decor is very nice and has lots of photo worthy spots. Everyone in the establishment was great. Really cute vibe in here. I came here on a Friday night and we decided to come last minute. We were able to get seating easily. I loved that they have a happy hour until 9 two for 1. Some of their cocktails were a little sweet for my liking but the waiter was able to help me pick one based on what I like to drink. Inside during dinner they have a DJ. You can get up and dance while you wait too. The service was very prompt and attentive. I got the jerk chicken pasta and it was the right amount of spice to enjoy the food but not over powering. We were invited to the soft opening of Madison at Noho and it was a fantastic experience! My girl and I loved their signature drinks--On Howard and the Madison 2.0 -- both unique and perfectly crafted. For food, we tried the stuffed oysters, which were amazing! They were generously stuffed with crab meat and packed with flavor--highly recommend. The atmosphere had a great vibe, making it the perfect spot for a night out or to escape rush hour traffic. Knowing the talented team behind Table 22 recently took over this location is exciting, as their expertise clearly shines through! Grabbed a late dinner from the Madison, walked in and was sat immediately. The server takes her time coming out but she was very nice. The food, SO DELICIOUS. The wings were cooked to perfection and you will need to ask for French fries they are not on the main menu! My sister had the salmon and I quote "the best salmon she has ever had" she would like that sauce recipe and my other sister had the crab cakes and grits. Overall, the food was amazing. Madison Noho is the third restaurant in this space in the last 3 years, but hopefully this one sticks! Reservations can be made online on Open Table so no need to call the restaurant and bother the host. The parking lot has all of like 10 spots but there is local street parking as well. Be careful tho, it's a pretty high traffic street. Now onto the food and service... Our waiter Nicholas was very kind and offered great service. He started out with what the restaurant was out of to lower our expectations. Our party ordered the snapper, lamb chops, salmon, jerk chicken pasta, crab cakes and calamari. Everything was a hit! The only thing I didn't care from was the calamari, but my boyfriend loved it. It had a mango pineapple glaze and I hate sweet and savory combos, personally. IDK if my boyfriend was asked the temperature he wanted his lambchops. We were running our mouths so much, we couldn't remember. They came out well done but the flavor and tenderness were so great that that wasn't even a concern. My snapper may have been the best snapper I've had in the city. It came with mashed potatoes as the side but I asked if I could have the brussels instead. The brussels were underseasoned, but that was the only food item I could say that about and it does take a lot to make brussels retain a flavor. The crab cakes were also top 3 crab cakes in the city, IMO. That is all crab baby! The drinks were what made me give the place a 4 instead of a 5. Nothing to write home about. The espresso martini didn't contain espresso and my sister ordered a white Russian and I think the bartender may not have known what that was so they basically gave her a super sweet old fashioned. Was in town to celebrate my birthday and did my research prior as to some potential birthday spots. I had the ppl I went with decide and make reservations and this is the spot they chose. They have a very small parking lot that they were charging $20 to park but they had complimentary valet. We went in to see the host for our 7:15 reservation, it was a packed place and they didn't have our table immediately but they cleared our table very quickly to accommodate. We got seated and got our waters and waiter, Derick. Derick was great all evening and made my birthday dinner feel very special by getting the DJ to announce my birthday and setting my cake up we had brought and light the candles while making it a grand entrance. We did have to move tables before we got food because the part in the booth next to us needed a bit more space and Derick took it upon himself to move our tables so we were not so crammed. Food was all great and had good flavor except the salmon was a bit overcooked but had good flavor. We got the green tomatoes and cheesy salmon egg rolls to start and those were very good especially the egg rolls. My mom got the salmon and I got the lamb chops and they were delicious! So tender I was literally able to cut them with a butter knife! Don't got here for wine though lol they had two options both very sweet, but they didn't charge us for the glass because we told them we didn't like it. I was excited to try this place in the soft opening and didn't expect perfection as things get sorted with a new restaurant opening. There is a parking lot, but it can fill up fast and street parking is free. First the pros. Reservations are available online. The staff is friendly, welcoming and accommodating. Our waiter Elijah was amazing. I got there at 8pm and the ambiance was nice. Low lighting giving a romantic vibe however the table lamp kept going out. Our waiter was kind enough to replace it and the second one went out as well. A saxophonist was there playing live music which was nice, but there was music playing on the speakers as well and seemed to be competing with him or that he was playing along to instrumental music. I couldn't tell. Once he left the music playing in the restaurant was a nice vibe. I went with a group of friends so we tried to order a little of everything. For the appetizers the base of the wings tasted unseasoned and tossed in their signature sauce. The sauce was good, but missing something. The oysters were also missing something in flavor. For entrees we ordered the pesto pasta and although I asked for no sausage and add salmon it came with sausage and I just picked it out. A pesto pasta with shrimp was ordered and that was really good just preferred a bit more sauce. The mashed potatoes were spicy not what I expected, but good overall. The fried rice was the least favorite as it did not have any taste at all and the serving size for the price was not accommodating. All entrees comes with complimentary salad and corn bread which does not pair well with all entrees. The cornbread is more cake like really good, but too sweet to pair with all entrees. The vinaigrette on the salad was good. If I'm going to spend money for food at that price point I need it to be mouthwatering and have me coming back for more. I had Jerk Chicken Pasta (chicken was a little dry) and my wife had the Catfish Collumbo. I also tried the seafood ravioli and the oysters. I can recommend all of these. This is a new establishment so I have a few recommendations. 1. Add a bourbon drink to your menu. All the other drinks were a big hit. 2. The men's restroom toilet seat won't stay up. 3. Dishes from salads and apps remained on table throughout the meal. 4. Tom makes great recommendations, but seems to be overwhelmed and disappears after making requests. 5. Add some IPAs to your beer options. The cornbread came out late, but was fantastic once we got it!! I would definitely come here again, just have some growing pains to work on. read more

Would give negative stars if possible. My wife told me she wanted to try this place out, so I made us reservations for Mother's Day. When calling, I made it known it was for us as well as my young children (5&2). When we arrived, we quickly realized this was not the type of place you bring children. The music is super loud and they had no high chairs. This is very much the grown and sexy type of establishment. Being that it was Mother's Day and basically every other restaurant was booked, we decided to stay. Bad choice. We were seated after a small wait of less than 5 mins. The tablecloth was wet (the party prior to us likely spilled something on it). We were given 1 menu because they "were busy and didn't have enough menus" (no kids options). No big deal, we adjust and figure it out. After about 10 minutes, the waiter comes over and we place our order. We specifically asked for a side of French fries to come out before the rest of the food so the kids can have something to munch on. We understood it was busy and expected it would take a while. An HOUR AND TEN MINUTES later and after asking the waiter 3 times, we get our fries with an apology that the kitchen was running behind. I told my wife if the rest of the food isn't here by the time the fries are eaten, we will leave. Right when I asked for the check to pay for the fries, my plate came out. It was very clearly something that wasn't intended for me, but they brought it just to appease. I wait (had no choice because I was never given silverware) for my wife and kid's meal to come so we can all eat. After 10 more mins, waiter comes back and says he just checked and their meals weren't ready and would still be a while. I paid for the fries and we left. We tried to give this place a shot as we wanted to support a local black owned business, but they clearly have no clue how to operate a business. It's all glitz and glamour, but they fall way short at being an actual restaurant. As someone who has worked in kitchens, they likely have inexperienced chefs/cooks and they can't keep up with the orders. Needless to say, we will NEVER give them or their sister restaurant (Table 22) another shot They ruined Mother's Day for my wife. When you order food be sure to know EVERYTHING you want because you won't see your waiter for another 30 minutes. Here on a Friday night at 8pm. Waitstaff was pleasant. Jerk chicken pasta was dry and tasteless. It tastes like plain noodles and cayenne pepper despite its appealing appearance. My husband ordered the ribeye steak. He did not enjoy it, he mentioned that it had a vinegar/ tangy taste to it. When asking the waiter about what it was marinated in, he stated that the ribeye steak is marinated in balsamic vinegar. The steak also came with a sweet sauce on the plate, and 3 blueberries. Weird. We also asked how many ounces the steaks are, as the steak is $45. The waiter stated that he was unsure, as the size of the steak changes per steak. The mac & cheese was all cheese and noodles. Very soggy, very tasteless outside of just cheese. Our drinks took forever to come, however, lacked no alcohol. the cornbread is sweet, so be prepared. The calamari was chewy, fried hard, and extremely sweet. There was not a balance between savory and sweetness. The location is quaint, and had a live singer. There were fireplaces playing on each of the televisions, which is kind of strange as this is Florida and in the middle of summer. Also, the YouTube commercials kept popping up throughout .
