We ended up at Bosc for my friend's birthday after another restaurant completely dropped the ball and didn't honor her reservation. The restaurant itself is super cute and aesthetic with a really nice atmosphere, which made the night feel special even after our original plans fell through. Even though it was close to closing, Chris and the rest of the staff were incredibly kind, welcoming, and attentive to our table the entire time. You could tell they genuinely cared about making sure we still had a good birthday dinner experience. Food wise, My cousin and I got the Bosc burger and my friend got the Zucchini Fries and it was just okay not bad, but probably not something we'd specifically come back for. The rest of the table felt pretty similarly about their meals. But the service absolutely stood out and really saved the night for us. Huge shoutout to Chris for being so accommodating and sweet!

This is going to be our new go to spot! Not only were we able to get a reservation same day, but the prices were extremely fair which really stands out with all of the high end, expensive places opening in Tampa. The Tuna Crispy Rice, Gouda Flatbread, and Chicken Salad were all 10//10. I will be thinking about these often! My husbands Fried Chicken platter was also good, I am just not a fried chicken person. They sent out two extra pieces for him because they were a little more on the crispy side- something we would have never noticed but shows their dedication and attention to detail. The one and only downside to this place is the weird parking lot but it's well worth it after such a great dine in experience.

Came here for a Sunday brunch. We made a reservation a day prior. They have a nice indoor/outdoor dining option, super pleasant to eat in a shade and still experience some wind and some fans. Service was super attentive and friendly. They came checked on us and were really helpful. They menu is pretty extensive and have regular brunch options as well as some sushi options. We had truffle fries, Bosc salad, sushi rolls-California and spicy salmon, and spicy tuna crispy rice appetizer. We also had 2 mocktails. Unfortunately the pear mocktail (Bosc classic) wasn't really good, it had no pear flavor, wasn't refreshing. The Tampa transplant mocktail was really good. Overall great experience and definitely would like to try their dinner menu.

The service was amazing and Bosc was able to accommodate a large party last minute (after another place didn't honor her reservation) for my friends birthday. The place was very nicely decorated and clean, even the bathrooms! The drinks were a little too strong for my liking, but that's just a personal preference. The food was okay. It's way overpriced for the basic taste of the food. I enjoyed my experience but I would not come back again. However, I will say again our server Chris was great.

Amazing service, amazing food, amazing vibes all around. Stopped in for dinner, left happy and full. Everything we tasted was packed full of flavor, presented well and most importantly served at the proper temperatures. I tried the hamachi crudo and whipped feta as starters and finished with the pasta Bolognese. Also tried the special of the night, 'Fish and Chips'. The feta gave me a different flavor profile with each bite as there was so much going on. The pita was piping hot and complemented the cooler feta perfectly. The hamachi was perfect, tons of complementary flavors on the plate, no soy sauce needed at all. The pasta was fresh, cooked to perfection with plenty of 'bite' to it. Plenty of flavor and meat in the sauce, I wish I would have asked for red pepper to kick it up a bit. The special fish and chips consisted of lightly battered and fried red snapper and house made kettle chips. Fish was delicious and the chips were nice and thin with a perfect crisp. Overall this was the best dining experience I've had in my five trips to Florida over the years. Stephanie was the greatest server, very attentive, friendly and engaging. I'll be back to try a few cocktails before my trip is over, no one should be hesitating to stop in for an amazing experience.

Came here on a Wednesday and sat out on the patio since it was such a nice day. The ambiance was great both inside and outside, such a nice vibe overall. Service was excellent and the food did not disappoint. Everything we ordered was delicious. The Fried Green Tomatoes were a standout, and we also really enjoyed the sushi rolls and the tuna crispy rice. The flatbread was great too, honestly you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. What I ordered: - Fried green tomatoes | Pimento cheese, tomato jam, porkbelly bacon - Spicy tuna crispy rice | Crispy seasoned sushi rice, spicy tuna, jalapeño, tobikko, yuzu miso sauce - Fig & prosciutto | White fig sauce, black figs, arugula, goat cheese, mozzarella, grana padano, garlic oil - Kamikaze roll | Spicy tuna, cucumber, topped with tuna, tempura flakes, scallion, masago, sesame seed, spicy eel sauce, spicy mayo

Finally tried out this new spot in Tampa for Friday date night. Absolutely loved this place - upbeat atmosphere, extremely friendly service and unique menu. Had to try the Bayshore Buzz cocktail and WOW I loved the mix of gin, ginger liqueur, and lemongrass (esp with the candi d ginger on top). LOVED the tuna crispy rice appetizer. Short rib entree was absolutely perfect - well cooked with creamy sweet potatoes and delicious veggies. I got the Parker street roll and was very happy. Solid sushi for Tampa standards. All in all, service was 100/10 and food was remarkably 10/10. Can't wait to go back!

I visited Bosc on a Sunday around 2:00 to kick off Sunday Funday. They were able to seat us on a really nice outdoor patio immediately. Our services were attentive and immediately got our food and drink orders. We really enjoyed all the food we ordered. We got a flatbread, the Parmesan Truffle Fries and Chicken and Waffles. All so good! Good vibes too! Everything was wonderful and I will definitely be back!

Last minute decision to try Bosc and I'm so glad we did. The outdoor seating is such a vibe, super nice but still relaxed. I love that you can come here dressed up or keep it casual and still feel totally comfortable. They even have TVs by the bar, which makes it feel fun and not too formal. The drinks were great, we had a couple margaritas, and they were perfect. We mostly stuck to appetizers and everything was honestly so good. The crispy rice, truffle fries, and peppers were all standouts. Also have to mention our server was super nice and made the whole experience even better. Definitely a spot I'd come back to!

I love Bosc! This modern chic restaurant really knew the assignment and gives all the classy European vibes. They have inside seating as well as a wrap around bar and an outside patio. I loved the ambience and all the little details. Moving onto the food and drinks the food was delicious. I recommend getting the Bolognese The crispy rice, sushi, and the truffle fries. Everything was flavorful and hit every mark! Not only was the ambience and food on point, but the service was phenomenal. Our waiter was constantly checking in on us and making sure we had drinks and water. They do have their own parking lot as well as off street parking which is convenient. I was happy to hear that they also have a brunch menu. I have no doubt that their brunch is a whole vibe! I'll definitely be back for that!

10/10! Where do I begin? Parking: Bosc has limited parking in their own lot which made it very convenient to make it on time for our reservation. There is also paid street parking in front if needed. Food: We had a few different appetizers that we shared. They are known for their sushi which was amazing. The flatbread and the truffle fries were the hit of the night for us. They have certainly taken their time in crafting great flavor profiles for their dishes. The pasta was also incredibly delicious. The didn't have a dessert menus but offered two options. We opted on the crème brûlée which was amazing. The drinks were also really good and reasonably priced. Service: Our server was very professional, knew the menu, made great recommendations and was super friendly. He was attentive and made us feel like we were the only ones in the restaurant. Nino, the manager, was so welcoming and friendly. He takes pride in this space and it truly shows. Shoutout to him for making us feel welcomed and catered to. Ambiance: The restaurant is super cozy, well lit and nicely decorated. We loved the vibe and energy in there and the outside seating is covered and looked inviting as well. Overall, we had an amazing time at Bosc. The management has done an amazing job at curating an environment and team that works so well together. They offer brunch as well as a happy hour that we'll certainly be back for. If you've read this far, that means you could have been at Bosc by this time!

This spot is the best meal I've had in Florida. The service was amazing with everyone looking happy to be a part of this new restaurant as it builds their place in the community. We walked here from the Tampa convention center in under 10 minutes and is a much better option than the immediate surrounding restaurants in the area The food was top notch with flavors combinations that were to die for. The hamachi crudo was sooo fresh and delicious with a decent portion size to share. The whipped feta was sooo fresh good I almost licked the plate. The bolognese had perfectly cooked pasta and was sauced with just the right amount to enjoy with each bite and not feel like anything was drowned out. I was so impressed that we came back the next day for their happy hour already. It's a pretty lively spot and can be a little louder from the crowd inside, but the vibe is fun and good music stays in the background. We even had my husbands grandma with us and she was enjoying it. I highly recommend everyone give this spot a try and I know you'll be happy.

Came here for a work dinner and was seriously impressed. We ordered a variety of sushi rolls for the table and every single one was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The Kamikazee roll was my favorite and I highly recommend ordering it. The fried green tomato appetizer was also delicious and a great way to start the meal. I tried the flatbread as well. It was good, but the sushi is definitely the star of the show here. The vibe is immaculate, stylish, intimate, and such a great atmosphere overall. I'll definitely be back to try more of their appetizers, cocktails, and entrees next time.

It's got that all-around fun, energetic atmosphere that makes it a solid choice for drinks. Not sure how it is during the week, but it would make for a fun date night spot to grab some cocktails. That said, I had a real hang-up the last time I went with my girlfriend around Christmas. They tried to hit us with a $10 cover just to get in, on top of $15-20 cocktails. I don't mind paying for a nice spot, but the cover felt absurd, especially since it wasn't even busy. The bouncer said we could make a reservation to avoid it, so I did...and then he made us stand outside forever before letting us in. At that point, we should've just left, but since my friend had never been, we stuck it out to try the themed Christmas cocktails. Once inside, there was a two-drink minimum per person, which is kind of crazy. It feels like they jip you either way...cover or no cover, minimum spend or not. While waiting outside (for no real reason, since it was empty), we chatted with a party of six who came straight from Ash (the sister restaurant upstairs). They'd just spent over $1,000 on their meal and were still getting charged a cover to enter Alter Ego. That's poor business, don't force extra fees to guarantee money when good music, drinks, and vibes should bring people in naturally and make them want to spend. There's plenty of places on Water Street with great (and I'd say better) cocktails where you're not forced into minimums or covers. The Christmas cocktail menu was disappointing too, poor selections and way too sugary. Love the potential here, but the strict policies really turned me off and made me want to go elsewhere next time.

She was funny, helpful, and attentive. And they are on top of refilling your water so you will never go thirsty. I'm not much of a drinker, so I don't have much to say on that matter. The ambiance was nice. A lot of eclectic paintings on the walls. And loved the outfits of the servers. Very 20's speakeasy. There is a live jazz band that started performing at 7 pm. They were good but at some points it was a bit difficult to speak and listen to those at your table unless you got really close. My meal hit the spot. We started with a charcuterie board for the table. It had a lot of great options like dried apricots, actual honeycomb pieces, and my most favorite cheese, some Brie cheese. The only thing was there was only 4 pieces of bread, one for each of us, which wasn't enough but I guess it made sense not to fill us up too much. For my main meal I had the sweet potato salad which was very tasty and the sweet potato risotto, which a little spicy kick. The only thing I missed was the Brussels sprouts and potatoes but was told that was from the previous chef. But they serve you enough so you definitely will have left overs. Not a big fan of eating in the lounge areas, those are best just for drinks and maybe desserts. But it's definitely a great place to people watch. You will definitely have a meal and a show no matter what. Hopefully can schedule another time to bring my family because I know they would love it.

I just wish the happy hour selection was better and quite small, but the $12 burger and beer deal is great. Expanding the happy hour menu could bring in more business earlier and create a more lively atmosphere before the evening rush. Definitely a solid spot with room to improve.

We were seated at the corner table so we were able to people watch. Our server, Brianna, was super nice and very attentive. I never had to ask her for a refill on my Coke Zero; she just kept them coming! We started with some shareables for the table. Kung Pao Brussel Sprouts which were done just right. We also ordered a half cheese, half pepperoni pizza to share. I've never had a "Columbus-style" pizza before. If you're wondering, the crust is somewhat thinner than most pizzas, but not a thin-crust pizza. The toppings are spread all throughout the pizza to the edge, and then cut it in squares (Tavern style). It was very tasty, with a slightly sweet note. My hubby and I ordered the Cobb Salad (without bacon) which was delicious. I really liked the onions on it. It was very fresh and they served a generous portion. Hubby ate the whole thing, but I had the rest of mine for dinner. So good! Two of our friends ordered the Truffle Mushroom Smash Burger and they loved them. I tried my buddy's tater tots, which he ordered with his French Dip. They were nice and crispy, but could have used some kind of flavoring, like Parmesan or truffle. Doesn't mean I didn't eat them all! LOL. The restaurant looks small when you enter, but in addition to the front dining area and bar, it has two additional dining areas, as you walk towards the back, and another bar. If you find yourself in the Channelside area, you should definitely try out Small Giant.
