    Tropical Negroni.

Ash I found by accident as I was looking for speakeasies by the Pearl, and the one I searched had a door charge on Saturdays. Fortunately, I saw that Ash served cocktails an was around the corner next to the Edition Tampa. So we took a gander over and enjoyed some lovely craft cocktails. The dining room and bar has a sleek vibe with white and pink flourishes and neon eliminating over the bar shelving. Vintage-like booths in the middle of the room help partition the bar area from the dining area. You can order food at the bar if you like. We had come for the cocktails since we had already eaten. And the cocktails were grand. The mixologists were on point with the signatures on the list and what I also ordered off the menu. The Tropical Negroni certainly radiated a lot of that description with rum being the primary spirit instead of gin, with pineapple, vanilla, and passion fruit notes. The Paper Plane was done wicked well, with a lovely fruitiness and creaminess to it. We will return to have dinner and more of the cocktails on our next trip to Tampa.

Had a great meal here, walking in early. The restaurant has great high ceilings with a lot of light (almost too much as there was some glare during sunset), and is casually upscale. The service was very friendly and we were recommended that we were ordering too much but we went with it anyway (and they were right). All the dishes were good, especially the prawns. Pastas weren't my favorite. Portion sizes were reasonable which made it easy to share and taste a lot of things!

First time here and absolutely loved sitting at the bar. Really great decor and the bartenders were amazing. The food was so creatively presented and so delicious. We got here in time for happy hour, which was nice so decided to have a dozen PEI oysters. I would eat another dozen if I could and that's how good it was. It's not traditional in that. They already add a bit of the mignonette to the oysters. The presentation on the pebbles was just beautiful. Focaccia bread was huge and just perfect amount of salt and the ricotta was scrumptious. Then we shared the chicken cutlet and it was very large so really good dish to share or have leftovers. So flavorful with the capers and just so tender and not overly breaded. The quality of the food and service are just great. All sorts of folks come here so you don't have to dress up or you can. There is outdoor seating as well.

My only experience at Ash has been the Coquito breakfast/brunch cafe that is open from 8am-noon, and from this experience alone I'm a huge fan. A friend and I took our little ones here and had a great brunch date in the middle of the week. The coquito latte was great, the food was great - and the staff was super friendly and it was a nice space to catch up. Just saw that the Coquito pop up would be leaving Ash soon and we're sad to see it go!

My friends and I had the opportunity to sit at the chef's table at Ash this past Saturday, and it was genuinely one of the most exceptional dining experiences I've ever had. I recently moved to Tampa and had friends visiting from out of town. I'm always looking for places that truly showcase the city, and after this experience, Ash will be at the very top of my itinerary anytime I have visitors in the future. Chef Seth was incredible. He was clearly knowledgeable about every dish he served and took the time to explain each course with genuine passion and enthusiasm. Beyond that, he went above and beyond to make sure our group was having an amazing experience from start to finish. You can tell he truly cares about both the food and the people sitting at his table. The service was equally outstanding. Brynn, our hostess, was incredibly welcoming and set the tone for the entire evening from the moment we walked in. Our server was attentive, personable, and made sure every detail of our experience was perfect. There was also a gentleman who helped us select our wine, and his recommendations were spot on. Every member of the team seemed genuinely invested in making sure we had a great time. Even when our table stayed later than we probably should have , everyone remained kind, accommodating, and never made us feel rushed. And then there's the food. I started with the Lavender Spritz, which was absolutely phenomenal. The caviar bumps were to die for. The MKT crudo was unbelievably fresh, packed with flavor, and one of the best crudos I've had in a long time. The crispy artichokes are an absolute must-order for anyone visiting. The mafalde and lumache were equally insane--perfectly executed and bursting with flavor. And don't even get me started on the chicken cutlet. It was hands-down one of the best dishes of the night and has officially been added to my list of staples whenever I return. The polenta cake tasted like home--comforting, rich, and perfectly balanced. And the sundae? It will absolutely knock your socks off. Somehow, after an already incredible meal, it managed to be one of the highlights of the evening. I've only lived in Tampa for a few months, but Ash has completely blown every other restaurant I've tried out of the water. Between the hospitality, the chef's table experience, the attention to detail, and some of the best food I've had in the city, this was a night we'll be talking about for a long time. Thank you to Chef Seth, Brynn, our wonderful server, and the entire team for creating such a memorable evening. We can't wait to come back--and we'll be bringing plenty of visitors with us.

Sooo Ash was the perfect choice for my birthday dinner! The restaurant is absolutely adorable with its pink color scheme, which gives it such a great date-night vibe. Our waiter (I sadly forgot his name ) was wonderful and helped us navigate the menu, which is on the smaller side but clearly means everything is thoughtfully and carefully crafted. The chef even sent out a starter bread with some kind of cheesy goodness, and wow... so good. Everything we ordered was delicious, and I truly enjoyed the entire experience. If you haven't been yet, this is a perfect spot for a date night or a special occasion dinner. What we ordered: Crispy Artichoke: Delicious Chicken Cutlet: Fancy fried chicken and sooo good Tonnarelli: Flavorful

We went for a Valentine's Dinner and ordered off their special menu. Great service, cute decor and the food was good but small in portions. This is a really small restaurant so making reservations is a good idea.

I absolutely love this place. They have a happy hour from 5-7 at the bar or the outdoor seating and most of the happy hour items range from $8-$12. The limoncello spritz is amazing. Their oysters are some of the best I've ever had. The decor inside is very stylish and cute. And the service is fantastic! Their regular dinner menu is also very good. A Tampa gem!

Did the chefs table experience and it was 10/10!! Chef Seth was amazing and it was so interesting to learn about each dish. The market crudo was a favorite, as well as the caviar!

My wife and I go to a lot of restaurants, but Ash? This place knows what it's doing. Our server Lily was fantastic. We both ordered espresso martinis. I decided to switch things up with bourbon while my wife went with the traditional vodka. Both drinks were perfectly balanced and honestly set the tone for what turned out to be an exceptional evening. The crispy artichokes had me questioning why I don't eat more vegetables. Perfectly crunchy outside, tender inside - they've basically solved the artichoke puzzle. The beef tartare was simple and fresh. Then comes this focaccia, still warm from the oven, making everyone at nearby tables jealous. The red snapper was so fresh it probably didn't even know it was dinner yet, and the strozzapreti with wagyu beef cheeks? Pure genius on a plate. We finished with the marzipan sundae - macerated strawberries, amaretto cookies, and at this point I'm convinced they're just showing off their skills. But here's where it gets next level - they made my wife a congratulations card for her new job and had the entire staff sign it. I mean, who does that? It's the kind of thoughtful gesture that makes you realize you're not just eating at a restaurant, you're experiencing genuine hospitality. Bottom line is Ash delivers on every level. Great food, great service, and the kind of personal touches that turn a good dinner into an unforgettable night. What can I say except, "You're Welcome. "

This restaurant is quite extraordinary! From the amazing service, well curated drinks, and delicious food. It is also beautifully decorated and have great music playing. I'd recommend this to anyone! It's a great place for a romantic date or cute girls night out. Here are the items we got to enjoy: -Focaccia with whipped ricotta and herb oil -Caviar Bump -Mafalde pasta with lump crab, XO sauce, and preserved lemon -Organic Chicken with chanterelles, Marsala, and roasted grapes Dessert: Marzipan Sundae with macerated strawberry, amaretti cookie crunch, rosemary honey Each item had their own burst of flavors! Everything was very tasty and unique. I definitely will be going back!

This was our first time at Ash and we will be back! The happy hour deal from 5-7 can't be beat and we really loved our bartender. The food is impressive and the location couldn't be better on Water Street. Small inside but absolutely worth the visit.

I am coming out of yelp retirement. I lost my 9 year yelp elite status in 2023 becauae of pure laziness. I haven't written a review in years. It has been ages. Ash literally made me re-download the app so I can share this delicious goodness with you all. Yes, you heard it here first. I am out of retirement and it is because the food at Ash is so great I have to tell everyone about it. So, let's begin. Okay errbody, grab a seat and put your brightness up. Ambiance and vibes: Ash is a BEAUTIFUL restaurant. Small, cozy, great for an impressive first date. If it's a third or fifth date, go to Ash first, get tipsy, then head to alter ego (its right next door). Girlies, wear your heels (you can go in shorts we dont discriminate). Wear your black top and jeans (iykyk) and get your drinks because this place is cute cute) Food: The food is amazing. We took my in laws and we ate so much for such a great price. It is family style so basically share everything and that is what I recommend you do. We ordered one to two dishes of each part of the menu and two desserts. 4 drinks and the bill was STILL under $400!!!! We started with the raw oysters, yum. Then we went with crispy artichokes (dish 1) and fried rabbit (dish 2). ORDER THEM!!!! YOU MUST GET THE ARTICHOKE AND RABBIT, I BEG YOU. phew let me calm down. Im demure. Im mindful. Im a classy bitch. Ok back to food. Then we ordered the MKT fish and Wagyu Picanha- perfecto. The meat was perfect. For pastas we ordered Mafalde and the Tonnarelli AND get the foccaccia NOW with the pasta so you can dip the bread in the pasta sauce (carbs on carbs on carbs) sooooo good. Oh I forgot to mention earlier that my mother in law loved the artichokes so much she ordered them TWICE yeah. First time this has ever happened to us in a restaurant. Get the artichokes, K? K. For dessert we ordered the marzipan sundae and the secret menu item (panna cotta) do both. Really. Do it. You will thank me. Okay overall 10/10 and I have to thank two very important people. 1. The server at Noble Rice that recommended Ash to us. You know who you are and I thank you for knowing us so well you recommended Ash. 2. Our server for the night Maya, Maya was so knowledgeable and kind. Someone who genuinely knows what she is doing and made our whole experience wonderful We will be back and I do hope this review helped direct business their way. They know their food and what they do with artichokes is criminally delicious.

This place is EXPENSIVE! $28 for a French 75 -- so correction, the price was my least favorite thing about this place. So along as you have a good budget, you should be good.

We also had the same drink, but unfortunately, I cannot remember what it's called. It had tequila and grapefruit juice in it and was pretty strong. It wasn't my favorite drink, but it was still cool craft cocktail. I would definitely like to return another time for a girls night, but it's noted that reservations do need to be booked out in advance because it does seem to fill up pretty quickly. We also ordered a half cheese, half pepperoni pizza to share. I've never had a "Columbus-style" pizza before. If you're wondering, the crust is somewhat thinner than most pizzas, but not a thin-crust pizza. The toppings are spread all throughout the pizza to the edge, and then cut it in squares (Tavern style). It was very tasty, with a slightly sweet note. My hubby and I ordered the Cobb Salad (without bacon) which was delicious. I really liked the onions on it. It was very fresh and they served a generous portion. Hubby ate the whole thing, but I had the rest of mine for dinner. So good! Two of our friends ordered the Truffle Mushroom Smash Burger and they loved them. I tried my buddy's tater tots, which he ordered with his French Dip. They were nice and crispy, but could have used some kind of flavoring, like Parmesan or truffle. Doesn't mean I didn't eat them all! LOL. The restaurant looks small when you enter, but in addition to the front dining area and bar, it has two additional dining areas, as you walk towards the back, and another bar. If you find yourself in the Channelside area, you should definitely try out Small Giant.
