***GOAT ALERT*** WOW! Absolutely incredible food & service!! Talk about fabulous hospitality... the real Southern Charm here! We started at the bar & I had the espresso martini with resposado $16 +$3 up charge & it was delish! When our dinner resy was ready, we were sat in the back area of the restaurant. Most didn't seem like they wanted to be back there the grim look on their faces entering the private small space lol so If you prefer to sit in the open front area, I suggest you make note of it Prior in your resy due to very small dining space (would be difficult to accommodate changes) throughout (very narrow walkways & restroom. The NY Strip I would say is the best in the Tampa Bay Area for a NY Strip. 2nd best is at District South Tavern, in comparison for the area. It more was medium rare than medium. I would order this again. Next time I'll get the filet. The best Brussel Sprouts I've ever had! It has that taste of total total char yet not burnt not wet yet very moist in middle... so fresh... it was so good I ate it all!!! (I am in awe that the plate here at The Landon was not dripping in oil or heavy syrupy sauce.... Which was what I had the most disgusting Brussel Sprouts at Beau's & Mo's Italian Eatery dripping in like a pancake syrup dripping in oil... ICK). Thank goodness this place revived my love for Brussel Sprouts. Everything here is very curated to perfection. I felt like I was at the Ritz hotel & booked a room for the night LOL... that's how crazy kind & friendly & beautful the service was!!! Every item on the menu it was like I wanted to try it all!!! Just very exquisite & spectacular!!! This place is fully booked out 2-3 weeks out so book asap! I can't wait to get the filet next time will try it with the bone marrow. I was able to park in the back for free, there is also valet service at the parking lot entrance.

First we started at the bar for an aperitif. I ordered the strawberry crush with patron and my friend ordered a don julio espresso martini. Chloe the bartender made great drinks. We then were seated in half booth half table in the back room. Great atmosphere and comfortable seats. Excellent service at dinner by Mick. I ordered mashed potatoes and the caviar vodka preclude. The chilled vodka made an excellent pairing for the caviar. The mashed potatoes were topped with melted butter - 10/10. Would definitely return. The desserts looked amazing.

Tried The Landon and it's easily one of the hottest new restaurants in SoHo right now. The space is beautiful with a really upscale but still welcoming vibe. I loved almost everything I ordered. The vegan short ribs are a must and so different, they literally taste like meat and I would 100% order them again. I would probably skip the tuna tartare cannoli and the cacio e pepe verde, but everything else was amazing and full of flavor. You can tell a lot of thought goes into each dish. Service was great and made the whole experience even better. Perfect for a date night or a girls night. Will be coming back! What I ordered: - Pull-Apart Milk Bread: sea salt butter, hot honey, lavender, pistachio brittle - Beet & Goat: red and yellow beets, goat cheese, beet foam, pistachio brittle, truffle honey, lemon vinaigrette - Tuna Tartare Cannoli: bluefin tuna, avocado, caviar, citrus ponzu, crisp wonton shell - Deviled Eggs: pancetta, caviar, chives, black truffle - 10K Scallops: corn pudding, pork belly, quail egg, veal demi (MUST ORDER!!) - Cacio e Pepe Verde: bucatini pasta, pecorino, burrata foam, truffle, pine nuts +added shrimp - Vegan Short Rib: blackened plant-based steak, chimichurri, crispy truffle potato fondant, balsamic roasted trumpet mushrooms and brussel leaves (MUST ORDER!!)

I am still thinking about this place the next day. The Landon is one of those restaurants where you walk in and immediately feel like it is going to be a good night. The space is absolutely stunning, but what really sets it apart is the people. Every single person on the staff was genuinely kind, attentive, and on top of everything. Not in an overbearing way, just in a way that made the whole experience feel seamless and elevated. From the hostess to the team refilling water and resetting our table, every touchpoint was intentional. We could not stop talking about it. And then there was Brandon. Brandon was hands down one of the best servers we have had in a long time. He guided our entire experience. Every single recommendation he made, we ordered and every single one hit. No misses. He was personable, confident without being pushy, and clearly knew the menu inside and out. You can tell when someone actually cares about the experience they are giving you and that was him. Also worth saying, this place is brand new and you would never know it. Normally new restaurants take a minute to figure things out. Timing, service, kitchen flow, all of it. The Landon already feels like a place that has been open for years in the best way. They clearly figured it out before opening. Now the food and drinks: The rosé cosmo is your perfect Friday night drink. Light, fun, easy. The new old fashioned was completely different in the best way with a subtle mushroom element that somehow works. The bread service deserves its own moment. Warm, fresh, perfectly salted and the butter was so good I wanted a spoon. We ordered the caviar prelude which is their take on a caviar bump with a pancake, all the toppings, and a chilled shot of Belvedere. It is such a fun experience and honestly one of my favorite bites of the night. The Caesar salad was simple and done right. The beef tartare stood out with both bread points and truffle chips which gave it great texture and made it feel elevated. Then the king scallops which Brandon recommended and I am so glad we trusted him. These were unreal. Easily the best thing we ordered and something I am still thinking about. Finished with an espresso martini which was also great. Between the atmosphere, the food, and especially the service, this place just gets it. Already planning to come back and absolutely asking for Brandon again.

The Landon in South Tampa delivers an impressive New American dining experience under Chef Robert Hesse. The atmosphere strikes the perfect balance between sophisticated and relaxed, making it ideal for a girls night out . Visually stunning and flavorful, the small dishes truly shine. Do not miss the exceptionally fluffy pull-apart milk bread with honey butter. While the innovative menu and chic ambiance consistently delight, the service was exceptional and went above and beyond our expectations. Overall, it is a fantastic, upscale-casual addition to Soho's vibrant culinary scene.

Amazing food and service! This restaurant is only 3 weeks old and notably very busy. It is truly a result of excellent food. We we able to sit int he smaller room towards the back where we had a wonderful server Nicole who was exceptional. We started with he bread service, then the charred oysters which were outstanding. then we had the steak tartare which was absolutely perfectly presented and delicious. Then we shared the grouper since we had had so many appetizers. A great experience. We will be back soon!

I recently visited The Landon during their opening week, and overall it was a wonderful experience. The food presentation was beautiful, and everything we tried was very flavorful. The bread alone was so good -- a great start to the meal. We had the Chilean sea bass, which was tender and perfectly seasoned, and we also tried the grouper with scampi, which was absolutely delicious. My drink was very well-made and complemented the meal nicely. Service was a little spotty at times, but that's completely understandable during opening week. The manager was great and very attentive, which made a positive impression. I didn't get a chance to try dessert this time, but I'm definitely looking forward to coming back. Wishing them continued success as they settle in!

Took the opportunity to spoil my best friend for her trip around the sun last week with dinner at The Landon in Tampa - it did not disappoint. Loved 717 South and this revamp maintains an elevated yet relaxed atmosphere. We split several starters, a main course (we thought we'd ordered two, but it was probably for the best) and shared desserts. Everything was amazing - the food, the service, recommendations from the staff, and of course, the company made it top tier. Excited to go back soon to keep exploring their menu! #thelandontampa #sohotampa #bestiedate

The overall taste of everything was amazing and delicious. I went on a Sunday so it was quite busy and loud. Customer service is 5/5. Everyone was respectful and nice. Drink: Strawberry Crush-5/5 Entree: Florida Red Snapper/portion-3/5 For a snapper to be $48 for a piece of filet, i was truly disappointed. Mind you, the menu did not indicate that as well. I am island girl so know when i have been bamboozled. Lol Plus the fish came with no side. I had to get whipped potato for $14 bucks.( forgot to take a picture)-Sorry Dessert: Chocolate Mousse-4/5 Rich in flavor and was good. In total$98.90(one person) P.S. I love quality and delicious food but the portion has to match the price a little.

Excellent ambiance, food and staff! Try the kiwi margarita!! The Landon is one of the best restaurants in Tampa!

To say my friend and I had a great time would be an understatement - we enjoyed the ambience, food and service so much we ended up staying for over 3 hours! I may be a bit biased, as a local I grew up in Tampa and the original 717 South was my very first employment in hospitality as a hostess exactly 21 years ago!! When the original establishment closed due to a fire it made me so sad, but when I learned the same owners would be revamping a new concept in its place I was dying waiting for it to open. Mike and Lindsay even remembered me from so long ago and were extra welcoming with their new managing partner Kal. We requested Tyler as our server - highly recommended with his knowledge and expertise of the menu. My favorite items we tried were the truffled beef tartare and the 10K scallops (the chef won a 10K prize for the dish!) although my mouth enjoyed every bite consumed. The kiwi margarita is a show stopper, but Landon's new fashioned tastes like it came from a creamery. Careful on the phoenix cocktail, it'll definately put some hair on your chest, but the taste is unlike any other. I can't wait to come back to try other cocktails and dishes soon!

Absolutely perfect dining experience! Service, vibe, food, and drinks were all on point. Start with the Milk Bread! We got the Tuna Tartare Cannolis & Crab Cakes. Both were spectacular. My Snapper and her Vegan Short Rib were exceptional. Desserts and drinks were 10/10. You will love this spot!

It's got that all-around fun, energetic atmosphere that makes it a solid choice for drinks. Not sure how it is during the week, but it would make for a fun date night spot to grab some cocktails. That said, I had a real hang-up the last time I went with my girlfriend around Christmas. They tried to hit us with a $10 cover just to get in, on top of $15-20 cocktails. I don't mind paying for a nice spot, but the cover felt absurd, especially since it wasn't even busy. The bouncer said we could make a reservation to avoid it, so I did...and then he made us stand outside forever before letting us in. At that point, we should've just left, but since my friend had never been, we stuck it out to try the themed Christmas cocktails. Once inside, there was a two-drink minimum per person, which is kind of crazy. It feels like they jip you either way...cover or no cover, minimum spend or not. While waiting outside (for no real reason, since it was empty), we chatted with a party of six who came straight from Ash (the sister restaurant upstairs). They'd just spent over $1,000 on their meal and were still getting charged a cover to enter Alter Ego. That's poor business, don't force extra fees to guarantee money when good music, drinks, and vibes should bring people in naturally and make them want to spend. There's plenty of places on Water Street with great (and I'd say better) cocktails where you're not forced into minimums or covers. The Christmas cocktail menu was disappointing too, poor selections and way too sugary. Love the potential here, but the strict policies really turned me off and made me want to go elsewhere next time.

The ambiance was nice. A lot of eclectic paintings on the walls. And loved the outfits of the servers. Very 20's speakeasy. There is a live jazz band that started performing at 7 pm. They were good but at some points it was a bit difficult to speak and listen to those at your table unless you got really close. My meal hit the spot. We started with a charcuterie board for the table. It had a lot of great options like dried apricots, actual honeycomb pieces, and my most favorite cheese, some Brie cheese. The only thing was there was only 4 pieces of bread, one for each of us, which wasn't enough but I guess it made sense not to fill us up too much. For my main meal I had the sweet potato salad which was very tasty and the sweet potato risotto, which a little spicy kick. The only thing I missed was the Brussels sprouts and potatoes but was told that was from the previous chef. But they serve you enough so you definitely will have left overs. Not a big fan of eating in the lounge areas, those are best just for drinks and maybe desserts. But it's definitely a great place to people watch. Hubby ate the whole thing, but I had the rest of mine for dinner. So good! Two of our friends ordered the Truffle Mushroom Smash Burger and they loved them. I tried my buddy's tater tots, which he ordered with his French Dip. They were nice and crispy, but could have used some kind of flavoring, like Parmesan or truffle. Doesn't mean I didn't eat them all! LOL.
