It's a good thing I walked here because parking was nonexistent during Happy Hour on Friday. Even so, there was plenty of seating inside and I was seated right away. The waitresses were friendly, quick, and attentive, though I do wish I had been given better guidance on what to order. Based on the waitress's suggestion, I ordered the crispy rice with spicy ahi tuna, which she described as their signature dish. At only seven dollars during Happy Hour, it sounded like a safe choice. While I did enjoy the small amount of tuna on top, which was fresh and flavorful, I was not a fan of the rice underneath. The rice made up about ninety percent of the dish and was dense, chewy, and overly deep fried. It was not crispy in the way it was advertised and ended up feeling heavy. Although the tuna itself was great, the deep fried rice likely accounted for most of the calories and left me feeling disappointed and weighed down. For a restaurant that presents itself as a healthier option, this dish just did not align with what I was hoping for. In hindsight, I really wish I had ordered something else. I would have so preferred the sesame crusted tuna tataki, which clearly offers significantly more tuna, even though it is not on the Happy Hour menu. I honestly think I would have preferred almost anything else here, whether it be pasta, pizza, salad, or sushi. I am sure they have great options here and I would probably give them a much better rating had I ordered differently. The service and atmosphere were solid, but the miniscule amount of tuna and the heavily fried rice underneath really missed the mark for me. Next time, I will trust my instincts and order something else.

Our server Grace was so sweet and kind and gave us some amazing recommendations. We got the crispy rice and tuna, Parmesan fries and vodka pizza. Everything was a 10/10 and great portions!! The restaurant is really pretty too and well designed. Had a great experience

This was my first visit and i was very impressed! I made a reservation for Galentine's day and even though we were a big group we were very well taken care of. Our server was so patient and kind to us! I ordered the steak and eggs and it was bussinnnnnn! The steak was amazing. I loved the chimichurri on top. The eggs were so good and flavorful and the breakfast potatoes omg drooling!! I also wanted the tres leches French toast but since i went with the steak and eggs my friend let me try some of hers and first of all they were HUGE!!!! Seriously you could feed a whole family with those lol they were delicious and I'd definitely go back to get those! We ordered a bottle of bubbly that came with three juices to mix it with and the rest of the drink menu had a lot of fun and tasty drinks. I'm alreadyreadytogo back and experience this place some more!

Came for light bites and finger food with a friend. They have some tasty options for happy hour for the low $$$ Margaritas were a hit with my table. The sushi wasn't too bad either. Service was friendly and pretty fast. Ambiance was a casual yet lovely vibe. Would come back sometime soon!

One of my go-to's for lunch, the service is always fast and very friendly :) I switch it up between the CALIFORNIA CLUB WRAP, the ALAMO WRAP, the SIMPLE or TUSCAN pizzas, with the occasional fries on the side the only item I tried randomly and wasn't too fond of was the SPICY BRAZILIAN NACHOS. Just not my thing I guess (specifically not great togo bc the chips were all soggy), I gave it away to coworkers that seemed to enjoy it. I don't typically dine in, but when picking up the food I've noticed it to be busier some days than others but pretty steady for lunch service. The vibes are always great with upbeat music and helpful staff. Will definitely be back!

Dined for an early Father's Day celebration with family. Love the fact they offer happy hour food and drink specials daily from 3 - 6 pm. Ordered the Thai chicken bowl on Udon noodles. This comes with carrots, pineapple, jicima, with peanut sauce. The food was delicious and the chicken breast was tender and not overcooked. Jordan was a wonderful server and attentive.

I've been here a few times and it's always pretty reliable. It's a great place to grab a quick meal with a fun vibe- the inside has a fun theme with colored lights and a lively atmosphere. The service was excellent and quick- our waitress checked on us a bunch and brought everything out quickly. Even though they're not a sushi restaurant, I still love their sushi and trust their quality. It always tastes fresh and I've never had an issue. The truffle fries are a must have in my opinion, and their drinks are also decent! I recommend going during happy hour for best deals. There is a parking lot outside the restaurant so even on busy days, you can usually find a spot. Will be back!

Water + Flour is a must on a Wednesday as the sushi and happy hour deals are too good to miss. The service at the bar was superb. The green dream roll was something new that I tried that really stood out and stuck with me on this trip. For good tasting food, great service at an affordable price stop in at Water + Flour.

I've been here a few times and every time the food is super good. It's basically a sister to Cali so they have some of the same menu items but with a lot more options. The service was great and the waitress was super nice. The restaurant is super cute on the inside but we sat outside because it was such a nice day. I love the chairs they have outside! I got the Verdura wrap and it's amazing! I highly recommend and their garlic lime edamame is delicious. Would definitely go back.

I have been to Water and Flower multiple times and it is good every time. The service is quick and friendly, the price is right, and the location is great. It is lively, which makes it fun. Happy hour is good and I really cannot complain.

This restaurant has quickly become one of my go-to spots. Their happy hour is fantastic--not only are the drinks reasonably priced, but the food is too. The atmosphere is casual and welcoming, with tasteful decor that makes the space feel cozy yet stylish. The menu offers a great variety, from pasta and sushi to wraps. We started with a simple margarita--delicious and perfectly balanced. The happy hour pizza was a standout: simple, satisfying, and just the right size (I happily finished it myself). We also tried the sweet and honey pepperoni pizza, which was absolutely amazing. The crispy rice with tuna was another highlight--perfectly crisp and paired wonderfully with the soy sauce. My friend had the veggie wrap and really enjoyed it, though we both agreed we'd prefer the salad dressing served on the side. Service was great--our waiter was friendly, and the food came out quickly and at just the right pace. I'll definitely be coming back.

Absolutely delicious, great atmosphere and Zack was an excellent server. So excited that they have matcha now. I had the lemon zucchini pasta and it tasted amazing like something straight from Italy!!

It's got that all-around fun, energetic atmosphere that makes it a solid choice for drinks. Not sure how it is during the week, but it would make for a fun date night spot to grab some cocktails. That said, I had a real hang-up the last time I went with my girlfriend around Christmas. They tried to hit us with a $10 cover just to get in, on top of $15-20 cocktails. I don't mind paying for a nice spot, but the cover felt absurd, especially since it wasn't even busy. The bouncer said we could make a reservation to avoid it, so I did...and then he made us stand outside forever before letting us in. At that point, we should've just left, but since my friend had never been, we stuck it out to try the themed Christmas cocktails. Once inside, there was a two-drink minimum per person, which is kind of crazy. It feels like they jip you either way...cover or no cover, minimum spend or not. While waiting outside (for no real reason, since it was empty), we chatted with a party of six who came straight from Ash (the sister restaurant upstairs). They'd just spent over $1,000 on their meal and were still getting charged a cover to enter Alter Ego. That's poor business, don't force extra fees to guarantee money when good music, drinks, and vibes should bring people in naturally and make them want to spend. There's plenty of places on Water Street with great (and I'd say better) cocktails where you're not forced into minimums or covers. The Christmas cocktail menu was disappointing too, poor selections and way too sugary. Love the potential here, but the strict policies really turned me off and made me want to go elsewhere next time.

The ambiance was nice. A lot of eclectic paintings on the walls. And loved the outfits of the servers. Very 20's speakeasy. There is a live jazz band that started performing at 7 pm. They were good but at some points it was a bit difficult to speak and listen to those at your table unless you got really close. My meal hit the spot. We started with a charcuterie board for the table. It had a lot of great options like dried apricots, actual honeycomb pieces, and my most favorite cheese, some Brie cheese. The only thing was there was only 4 pieces of bread, one for each of us, which wasn't enough but I guess it made sense not to fill us up too much. For my main meal I had the sweet potato salad which was very tasty and the sweet potato risotto, which a little spicy kick. The only thing I missed was the Brussels sprouts and potatoes but was told that was from the previous chef. But they serve you enough so you definitely will have left overs. Not a big fan of eating in the lounge areas, those are best just for drinks and maybe desserts. But it's definitely a great place to people watch. You will definitely have a meal and a show no matter what. Hopefully can schedule another time to bring my family because I know they would love it.

The toppings are spread all throughout the pizza to the edge, and then cut it in squares (Tavern style). It was very tasty, with a slightly sweet note. My hubby and I ordered the Cobb Salad (without bacon) which was delicious. I really liked the onions on it. It was very fresh and they served a generous portion. Hubby ate the whole thing, but I had the rest of mine for dinner. So good! Two of our friends ordered the Truffle Mushroom Smash Burger and they loved them. I tried my buddy's tater tots, which he ordered with his French Dip. They were nice and crispy, but could have used some kind of flavoring, like Parmesan or truffle. Doesn't mean I didn't eat them all! LOL. The restaurant looks small when you enter, but in addition to the front dining area and bar, it has two additional dining areas, as you walk towards the back, and another bar. If you find yourself in the Channelside area, you should definitely try out Small Giant.
