The sausage doesn't taste good at all. They can keep it. The crab legs were good. Meaty and a good size, the corn was good as well. The old bay seasoning doesn't taste like old bay at all. We visited on Monday afternoon, with a party of four, and it was outstanding. We arrived and were seated right away in a booth, only a few customers were there. The waitress/owner stopped by and took orders. Be advised, the bartender comes in around 4 PM, so complex cocktails may not be available earlier. Their drink prices are excellent and their pitchers have a frozen middle section, keeping the beer cold. We ordered wings and 3 orders of In a Pinch, house sauce, extra hot. It had shrimp, crawfish, and green mussels, along with potatoes and corn. The dish was amazing, best sauce I have ever had on a seafood boil. The portion was huge, for a great price. This was my first visit to Mr. & Mrs. Crab. I had a friend visiting me in town and she really wanted crab so I found this spot on Google and couldn't wait to try it. Conveniently located on a main road with plenty of parking. You walk in and it's decorated so cute with all types of nautical and fishing decorations but in a tasteful fun way. Restaurant was very clean we were promptly seated by a friendly hostess and our server came over right away to greet us. It was our first time so she gave us the full rundown on how it works. You choose what meats you want. It's kind of set up per pound. We went with the crab legs the sausage and the shrimp then you choose your sauce you could choose one or multiple. We went with the Cajun and the garlic butter. When they bring it out it's all in a bag and the server shook it all up for us. The flavor was so amazing. I could not get enough of it. It came with corn and potatoes which were also delicious. I definitely could've ordered more because I could not get enough of that delicious flavor. We were there during the World Cup and they have TVs so we were actually able to watch the game while we were there which was such a treat. They also had the option for blue mussels. I asked for the difference and was informed the green ones are larger and the blue ones are very small. I chose the larger for less work! And that sauce or whatever they cooked the crab in.. Just beautiful! It was actually so spicy but just the right amount and it went so well with the crab; I loved it! We just both loved it! I added some of that sauce to a plain bowl of cauliflower rice no salt no nothing added to it and it really worked out well there as well. My experience with crab boils is limited, but I have been deterred from one since my last visit to one which was probably around 4 years ago. My friend was visiting in town and he absolutely loves crab boils. He suggested we go to one for the experience, good food, and to hopefully change my perspective. The whole concept of Mr and Mrs Crab cracks me up because of the restaurants logo and idea being this cute crab couple with the nautical theme, which I must admit they do wonderfully. We went on a Friday night around 9pm and it wasn't busy which was great. Service from Roberto was prompt, kind, and informative (would 10/10 recommend him as a server). We ordered the largest boil you could get, and share, as we had 3 people. We were given little tools for the seafood as well as gloves to keep our hands clean and a wet nap for after the mess. The food came to the table in less than 10 minutes which wass amazing! As for the food itself....phewwwww! Man. I am glad my friend pushed for a seafood boil because this food was absolutely incredible. Every single part of it from the temperature, the seasoning, the amount, and variety. The seasoning was one of the best combination of flavors I have ever tasted on seafood and the shrimp/mussels etc were cooked to perfection. The only thing I would like was more crab included in the large portion as well as thicker slices of andouille sausage. Everything else was absolutely spot on! I love a good crab boil. I've tried pretty much every big brand. This one has been recommended quite a few times so I decided to give it a go. I ordered a pound of snow crab, dungeoness crab, and the sausage. I also ordered the friend pickles while we waited for one of our friends. Starting with the drinks... The margaritas were actually pretty good. A little sweet, but solid. Fried pickles! Hard to mess up right? It's just batter and pickles. They weren't like, "oh my god, these are amazing." They were more like, "oh, they are pickles, fried, cool." Nothing special about them. Now onto the the meat and potatoes. The crab legs were very fresh and the price was very fair. Probably one of the least expensive crab places I've been. I didn't the Mr and Mrs Crab seasoning, which is a combination of them all. Seasoning was just okay, but the freshness of the meat made up for the lack of "pop" from the seasoning. If I were to rank them among the big crab chains, they'd likely be Top 5. We'll we enjoyed it for about 2 minutes even after I asked to wait on the food. The seafood bag boil was decent and the sauce was good. Corn wasn't soggy and the snow crab and lobster tail were done good. Nice touch the plastic gloves, bib and wet napkins. Wife ordered fried shrimp with sweet potato fries. Shrimp was just fair and the fries were frozen variety and cold. Positive note the waitress did remove the fries from the bill.
