So I went an air on a Sunday around 345 a day afternoon there was nobody in the store and there were no orders on the board three people just standing around the first person that helped me out was OK except they do not have barbecue sauce there it's a pork potbelly restaurant and all they have is jalapeño barbecue sauce which I tasted and it was horrible. So I ordered a Cuban. I really wanted a pulled pork sandwich with barbecue sauce can't get that there so I ordered a Cuban and I got some chips and I was waiting to pay for it and it was a girl there that was very rude and the way he says she asked me to come over all she asked me is if he wanted anything else on the sandwich and I said no, but I was standing and ready to pay and the way that she talked to me was very rude. I know my problems are not the employees problems, however, had a very long day yesterday and I was looking forward to my very specially crafted Mediterranean sandwich with my own customization to it. Arguably not hard to put a sandwich together when you're given the instructions, especially ahead of time because I ordered for pick up. I would've brushed this off had it been any other day and had it been any other order. However it was a bad day, and on top of that I used my free sandwich coupon for this specific order. What I got was a plain turkey sandwich with lettuce and tomatoes. I nearly collapsed and dropped to my knees upon unwrapping what I thought was going to be my saving grace. I went here after seeing a pop up ad for them. They have an app that makes it real easy to order ahead and specify the time you want the order ready. They also have kind of a secret menu on the app only. The sandwich I got was the wrecking ball from this secret menu. They have 3 different sizes of sandwich's to choose from. The original is their medium size and is plenty big enough for any appetite. They do give you a lot of meat for what you pay. The wrecking ball was a combination of two sandwiches, meatball and cold cut and was toasted. It was delicious. read more

I ordered on the app and took advantage of a free cookie I earned and ordered 2 pick two items that included a salad and chili. When I picked it up, I questioned the bag that they packed the four food items in as it was very tightly packed. Even with my hand under the bottom, sure enough the bag broke as I was walking out to my car but fortunately I caught most of the order. I returned to the restaurant and the service person provided a new larger bag. While he was repacking the food I noticed there was no cookie... he provided two. When I got home, there was no dressing in the bag. Luckily I had dressing for the salad. The food, as usual, was very good but the service experience was sloppy. Really yummy sandwich for lunch! I got the Mediterranean sandwich but instead of grilled chicken they let me swap with chicken salad. I ordered the original size and oh my was it big! It was 8 inches but packed with deliciousness - I definitely should have gotten the smaller size. The hummus was so good - slightly spicy but added a perfect flavor. Fresh veggies - artichokes, red peppers and cucumbers. Added a chip and water and my total was $16 which seemed like a lot but for the large sandwich that could easily be split id say totally worth it! They have a drive thru and indoor and outdoor seating. There's a muddy path when you walk up front - please pave this! :-) I will definitely be back next time I'm in town. read more

I got an advertisement for Potbelly and saw the new limited time shakes and knew I wanted to try it! We happened to be nearby one day and all tried a shake. We did not expect to be this disappointed. It was a waste of money as none of us will have more than a few sips of our shakes. We should have just grabbed shakes at Five Guys next door. I was excited for the limited edition cookie butter shake, which tastes nothing like cookie butter. It has an extremely artificial taste, almost like medicine. I thought maybe it's just the limited edition flavor so I tried a little of my husband's Oreo shake and my daughter's vanilla shake but none of them were very good. They're on the thinner side which is fine, but the biggest issue is the flavor. It sounded promising, but we will not be back. read more

My first visit was very average. They welcomed me. Menu is mostly sandwiches, but they do have a handful of salads. I decided to go with a BIG sized turkey breast sandwich on multigrain. Surprised they only offer two bread choices, with white being the other. Also somewhat limited on the topping choices compared to other sandwich places. For example no spicy mayo and no black pepper by itself (they have a Mediterranean mix). The sandwich wasn't as large as I thought it would be. Bread was above average. I kept comparing it to Publix subs, which I thought were better and slightly cheaper. I took the sandwich "to go" so didn't experience the indoor seating but the temperature was cold and it was raining so the outside tables (which do have umbrellas but they were down) weren't a good choice. They have a Coca-Cola dispenser on the floor to serve your own drinks. Price for this was on the high side, especially if you take your food to go. When you go to pay make sure you remember what you ordered because they ask you and you can't see the order board from this area. This was a bit annoying. I'll try this place again before deciding whether to come back. The shopping center has about six other restaurants to choose from so it's a frequent stop for me. read more

This place has got some really great sandwiches... I feel like the vibe is somewhere in between Subway & Quiznos, but with a local feel if any of this makes sense. They have a conveyor that toasts the sandwiches and a decent selection of toppings, including a jalapeño and peppers combo that gives the sandwich a nice kick! As far as sides, there's soups and chips to choose from. The sandwich was a bit expensive for what you got, but the food was fresh and well made so that offset that for me. Love love love Potbelly's ever since I worked in Downtown Chicago, and this was my go to place. More Chicago eats in Tampa make me happy. They have had a location in the airport and on Dale Mabry. I barely go to the airport and Dale Mabry so this was the best option for me. This is a brand new location that also has an outside area and a drive through which is a new amenity. I signed up for the application and they give you deals and freebies galore. We were able to get a half off shake, a free cookie, & a free sandwich after my first purchase. They do a free cookie for your birthday freebie too. My go to sandwich is The Wreck. Had a strawberry shake that made my husband happy and the chocolate cookie brownie made me happy. This is still a great sandwich from back in the day, and I'm not the type of person who buys sandwiches out, but this surely is a winner!! read more

Potbelly's is a sandwich shop that has outdoor seating and a drive through if your in a hurry. I would say this place is just OK in my opinion. The service is great but when it comes down to the actual subs there isn't much meat on it and they don't have much seasoning. I asked if they could put salt/pepper/oregano and they said they only have Italian seasoning which was alittle disappointing. On my opinion I would rather have jersey mikes or a Publix sub but again that's just my opinion the sub was still good and I ate it. read more

Potbelly is such a fun alternative to your average sandwich shop. They have something for everyone as a lot of their subs can be made vegan. They also have a variety of protein options. I got the chicken Mediterranean sub and the ingredients were fresh and delicious. My partner got the Italian and I typically don't care for Italian subs but I found this one to have their flavors on point! Our second visit is not as good as first one due to the detail of the clerk. Food still excellent. It does mean that they do a bad job. Just a few area they need to paid attention. This time we try different their steak house sandwiches. I like the roast beef but I think the goat cheese need to be modified to some other cheese. This time we also got their cold brew shake. The taste is good. It need a bit more coffee. The improvement they need to do is below. When they make the shake, they do have enough material. Since they did not take extra step to scrap the remaining shake in the blender, it only leave 3/4 fill of the cup. They need to paid attention to fill up the cup and not throw away the remaining shake in the blender. Second, when someone outside call in for order or question, the cashier has to pick up the phone. This is not right for the customers who ready to paid and cut in the line by the phone. They need to designate a separate people who pick up the phone. We were wait extra 5 minutes to paid because someone have the phone order. This definitely effect the cash tip that I want to leave. read more

Awesome sub!! The bacon here is amazing! I ordered the BLTA which is just a blt plus avocado which was perfect! It was my first time here so I was a little hesitant on how to actually order but it's just point and pick lol. Tell 'em what you want and they put it on your sandwich. Amazing right lol what's sorcery is this! The bread was perfectly toasted! Bacon was on point, not too crispy and not to rubbery. All the ingredients seemed fresh. Potbelly is a good place to stop for a sandwich but didn't really stand out as better than other places to us. You can get sandwiches everywhere. There are no shortage of spots. Potbelly was good but I couldn't say its any better than Panera or Earl's or Jimmy Johns or even just a Pubsub. We swung through the drive-thru here on a Thursday afternoon. No line really. They have a decent selection of items. We chose two Italians, original sized. They came with chips and a drink. Like $25 in total so not bad price wise. It took us about 30 minutes to get home since we live in Plant City. We think the sandwiches were toasted since the bread was slightly charred on the edges but the sandwiches weren't hot. All the toppings were fresh and the sandwich had a good amount of meat on it. It wasn't skimpy. The Italian meats were mildly spicy. The pickles appeared more like cucumbers which gave them a more homemade look and taste, they didn't have a strong pickle taste. The chips were Zapp's which are a higher quality kettle chip. I liked them. There are plenty of options here and I'm sure you can find something you would like. We wouldn't drive all the way from Plant City to get Potbelly but if we were in the area and wanted a sandwich, we would consider it. Numerous selections, it was a tad bit overwhelming, but asked the Potbelly Team Member for most popular items & if they have tried them, what was their thoughts. He was extremely helpful and patient with my indecisiveness. I went with The Wreck and it was delicious, toasted and I went basic for my toppings, (lettuce, tomato & onion). They have several side options if you want to make it a combo. I decided to do chips, drink and I added a cookie. The cookie was sinful & I would go back just for that. The service was kind, responsive, quick, knowledgeable and friendly! Professional and polite, too. The location is on Falkenburg and easy for a quick lunch. They have a drive thru or you can sit at a table inside or outside (not covered). Prices were reasonable if you don't over indulge. Casual place for a tasty sandwich & side. read more

I think I need to try the Wreck sandwich next time. It seems like that is the popular sandwich. My last 2 choices were just okay. I downloaded the app because they really do have a wonderful perks program. I got a free cookie after my first order using the app. I chose the pick your pair option and got the Tuna Salad sandwich with the Garden Vegetable soup. I had read somewhere that the tuna salad was the best tuna salad that someone ever had. Well, it was also the saltiest tuna salad. Don't get me wrong. A little salt is good but I wasn't in love with this sandwich. The soup was good, and the free Chocolate Brownie cookie was delicious and and so full of dark chocolate. I'm one of those people that experiences that dark chocolate sneeze (photic sneeze reflex) when taking the first bite of dark chocolate. I knew right away that it was a good quality cookie. I love it! I would totally get that cookie again and again. My second visit was to pick up my free original sandwich. Yes, another perk from the app after your very first order. I love that they do this. There are more perks as you start accumulating points. This time I chose the Pizza Melt sandwich. It was good, but nothing that I would ever go back for again. The Dream Bar was really great. I loved the oats, chocolate, and caramel in that bar. They do give it to you cold, or at least that's how I received it. It was like it came out of a refrigerator case. But, 15 seconds in the microwave made it taste like it was fresh out of the oven. This is another item I would go back for. They also serve Zapp's potato chips. The voodoo flavor is a favorite in our household. I know you can get them at other places, but it's nice to have this brand and choice of flavor at a sandwich shop. Potbelly Sandwich Shop gets an extra star because of the perks, variety of items offered, and the service. I know the big draw is having your bread toasted, but that's really not my thing. I prefer Publix deli subs with Boar's Head meats and lots of veggies. I do want to go back and try the Wreck and a shake one day soon. They do have certain days of the week when you can earn 2 or 3 times the points towards your free sandwich as well. Yep, I just want to earn points for that free sandwich like Elaine on Seinfeld. So far, I have tried their A wrack, steak house beef, gyro flat sandwich. The wrack was my top favorite. Because it got many different cold cut and cheese. Gyro flat was my second. I liked their gyro meat tasted mild without the strong lamb sense. The taste of their sandwich was above average. The original size was big enough to feed an adult as a meal. For the shake, I liked their Oreo shake better than cold brew. The advantage of this place is they are strong at promotion. Once I downloaded their app and joined as member, I received birthday free dessert coupon, BOGO sandwich coupon etc. Nowadays, the inflation rate was so high, any chance to grab extra saving has become important. I'm not sure what to think about this new sandwich shop . I went on grand opening day and . The inside was packed so I opted for the drive thru. I placed my order avo turkey on multi grain bread ( avocado turkey and Swiss cheese) I added sides of pickles, lettuce , mayo , mustard. Pros: The bread was fresh. Lettuce was also fresh. Service at the drive thru was fairly quick. Avocado was fresh. Cons: I didn't have any mustard on my sandwich. The turkey was very thin and almost non existent. Looks like I had one thinly sliced piece of turkey. There was too much mayo for my liking. The pickles taste like sliced raw cucumbers that have not been pickled. I don't know if there was actually cheese on the sandwich because all I tasted was mayo and avocado. read more

Overall the sandwich I had (original Italian) was ok. I do gotta ask, how can a sandwich shop not have vinegar? Not finding out until after the sandwich is assembled was not cool one bit. This is my second time at a Potbelly. My first visit was in Ft. Myers and it was outstanding. Today I decided to give my local Potbelly a try. I really built it up for my family as I told them what excellent service I had previously received, and what delicious sandwiches were in store. I was greeted by a friendly and patient young man with his hair pulled back in a ponytail. I only wish I had gotten his name. As I slid down the counter to my right, I entered another land. The two other employees who "greeted" me couldn't have been any less enthusiastic about their roles. They didn't say anything to me for quite some time. As my sandwiches sat on the end of the conveyor belt, they seemed to be in absolutely no rush to complete my order. It seemed to have taken far too long to assemble, wrap, and cash me out. To top off the exchange, the lady handed me a bag, as if to say "here's where you put your sandwiches." I took the hint and bagged everything myself. The sandwiches were good, but I left the store with a bad taste in my mouth. I might stop at another location in the future, but it's a shame that my neighborhood Potbelly won't be on my list any time soon. read more

This is my first time trying a Potbelly sandwich. Went through drive through and the service was fast and friendly. Ordered the Wreck and spicy Italian to go, since we live 5 min away. By the time I got home I had sandwich seepage coming out of the bag and was not too happy with that. However the sandwiches had a good flavor, although the spicy pepper in the Italian was too much for my husband and that was a surprise since he likes spicy. 2 regular size sandwiches (no drinks nor sides) were I think a little over priced but I don't mind paying more if the end result is worth it. In my opinion, these were good filling sandwiches with good flavor. Comparing to other similar sand which shops, it may be a slight cut above some but not all. So yes good, but not great. The magic answer, yes I would come here again,.. but honestly only if I was driving by and in the mood, otherwise won't be going out of my way. I live close to this restaurant and noticed it was newly opened and decided to check it out. I went through the drive-through and got the turkey avocado sandwich with jalapeño chips & an iced tea. The service and drive through were friendly and quick. The sandwich was a good value for the price and it was delicious! The multigrain bread was filled with fresh avocado, Swiss, cucumbers, spicy mustard, and Turkey and the spicy chips were perfect with it.
