Great location sandwiched between a plaza with other great shops and stores and walking distance from Costco. There's plenty of parking. Though the parking lot can be quite busy and chaotic. It's a chain sandwich shop but they are consistent and quite efficient. The place is always clean. The staff are welcoming and inviting. They will usually stop what they are doing and greet you with a warm smile. I was there mid afternoon, right before the lunch hour rush and was quite surprise that it was empty. Yet there was quite a few orders already made and prepared. Seems many ordered ahead of time online, like myself so it was a quick pickup. Definitely recommend ordering ahead of time, saves you time and well the staff too. When I got home I found my "The Original Italian" sandwich was made perfectly, a bit heavy handed with the vinegar but it was tasty. Cheesy, fresh, mouth watering delicious is the first words come to my mind. I wanted to try something new and my my my, this will be my all time favorite sub sandwich. The flavors just lingers in your mouth the right amount of cheese peppers and onions, the bread is so soft which just makes this all come together so beautifully. Lord have mercy I'm just getting excited right now all over again just writing this. Jersey Mike y'all took it to another level :) This location no worries about parking you're have a nice spot and if you're looking to sit inside you can do that too. I honestly like this location because I feel the staff there are doing a pretty good job of preparing the sandwiches there. My issue was there was an employee working the grill for the hot subs. Yes he was wearing gloves but he decided that he needed to tuck his shirt in at the back of his pants. He never changed his gloves and proceeded to prepare the and touch the bread with those same gloves. OSHA would have a field day with his actions if they saw him. Management needs to put emphasis on being more sanitary while cooking the food. I'm sure there isn't a shortage of gloves so tell the staff to change them instead of preparing the food taking the money, cleaning the counters touching cabinets and picking things up off the floor all while wearing the same damn gloves. Please do better! I even whispered to one of the female workers to tell him to change his gloves instead of me blurting it out to him especially since he was preparing my sandwich but she never said anything to him. read more

I am so disappointed in the customer service! I went to this establishment on a whim to feed my family of 6 instead of cooking tonight, now I wish I'd saved the $100 that I spent. Upon entering we were greeted by two young ladies that looked like the last thing they wanted to be doing was making our subs. My teenagers started to order and as the girl was slicing meat I decided to upgrade to a giant instead of a regular for one of my teens, you would have thought I said something rude with the reaction I got! Next as I was ordering for the rest of my family, I guess I wasn't doing it fast enough the sighs and dropping of the pen just was childish! I honestly wanted to just leave instead of spending $100 dollars there! Never was given a reciept to make a complaint on the website either. Its just sad that in this economy when people are really choosing to spend their hard earned money at a place where when they feel like they made a mistake or did something wrong. Overall my experience was good. My issue is that the lady working today wasn't wearing her mask during a pandemic, while I was in the store. The guy who made my sandwich was great. Very friendly. Had his mask on. The lady just walked over with her mask around her chin. Finally just as I was about to leave, she pulled up her mask as she started to make a sandwich. Seems like a bad practice. Best subs in Florida! Cold cuts are sliced fresh as you order, bread is baked onsite. There are 5 booths and 4 tables-for-2, as well as 3 TVs. The staff are friendly and fast. I've seen poor reviews for this place based on the crowd size at lunchtime, which is silly (nobody goes there anymore, it's too crowded?), it just shows you how good the food and service is here. And as far as the amount of meat you get, it depends on the sub you order. You don't have to spend $11 to get a meaty sub, in fact an Italian mini-size is packed! But if you order tuna you won't have as much "meat". One last thing. It doesn't matter here what anyone thinks of Fox news, but I know this: I've been a regular here since the store opened, and I don't recall ever seeing *any* news program on the TVs. Like today, it seems they usually have sports on (college football was on all 3 TVs today while I was in the store). read more

Stopped in today, and was thrilled with the way the staff members treated me. I asked for gluten free bread, and the staff person (looked like he might have been the manager) not only said sure, but as he grabbed it from the tray, was sure to show me that it was packaged to assure me there was no cross contamination. Then, as they were making my sub, proceeded to use different gloves, knives, parchment paper, etc. to ensure no cross contamination. All 3 staff members were polite, and treated me like a normal person, instead of an annoying gluten free freak! So refreshing. Sub was great. Great job to management. You rock! read more

This was once a 4 or a 5 rated place for me, but these days I will give it a 3 star. So why would I view this as going in the wrong direction? Well when I walked into to the shop and see one male employee singing to the girls instead of mending to the business that is a big turn off for me. It wasn't really busy but I know those table don't wash themselves or make cookies or clean because this is what the customers love to see!! Last year when I would walk into the shop they would welcome me with "welcome to Jersey Mike's" and I would smile and say thanks. I already attempted to contact the owners and the companies corporate office before posting this review however all of them have chose not to call me or write back so I just figured I do my part for the public and let them know we are safe to eat and where is not and what I witnessed a few days ago going into this location with people making multiple health department violations right in front of me and it appears that there's a lack of training in this place because numerous people witnessed us which I will have a video of and you can watch for yourself. You can see the girl here making sandwiches and then taking lettuce and toppings off of the cutting board putting them back into the fresh lettuce and then taking your hand and mixing them all together so you can't see all of the lettuce and tomatoes and black pepper and oregano and oil and vinegar that's all over the lettuce that's been contaminated, not only is this illegal it's just disgusting and all of the stuff that's left over on the cutting board after the sandwich is made should be thrown in the trash anybody who knows any basic food handling or sandwich making skills should know this I think it's sad that they don't want to address this so I just wanted to let everyone know don't trust any of the toppings here Lord knows how they're keeping them if this is the way they handle the lettuce. read more

I don't always review chains like this, but this location seems to struggle when we decide to go there. Our last visit was probably the final chance we gave this spot. The store was a mess. Trash on every table and overflowing at the front (it was not busy). The staff wouldn't accept a coupon (not a big deal), but the way they handled it was weird. They said their owner is too cheap to allow them to accept coupons. I live nearby and got mailed the coupon, so I thought it was weird I couldn't use at the closest store. I ate a couple bites of my sub and realized they forgot to put lettuce and tomato on. I brought it back and just asked for a side of lettuce and tomato. He tried to take it back from me and said he would put it on himself. I had clearly already had a couple bites and I thought it was a bit gross that they would take eaten food back over the counter. read more

Very good! Jersey Mikes is not far from my apt. So while I was running around town doing some errands I got a major craving for a sub. As I was driving by I their big truck in the back of the plaza so I figured I would go and check it out. Wow! I ordered the Italian with everything on it (Mikes Way) plus mayo and from the first bite to the last I was in food heaven. It was so good I didn't want the sandwich to be gone! The bread was so soft and everything just tasted so fresh. The store itself was about the size of your average sub shop in a plaza. Good seating, good selection of chips and a cooler full of soda. The only reason Jersey Mikes didn't get 5 stars was because I have had several homemade Italian sandwiches that were so good they ruined me for a chain Italian combo sandwich but of all the ones I have had from a chain restaurant this was by far the best! I would highly recommend eating at Jersey Mikes some time especially if your choose is between them and say Subway or Quiznos. read more

I waited 20 min for them to make my hot buffalo chicken sub on Monday night around 7pm. There was 2 people infront of me, so it wasn't too busy. I usually don't write bad reviews, but waiting 20 min for a sandwich was just ridiculous. I placed my order 2-5 min before i paid for it. The only reason that I know i waited 20 min is because my mother called me before I paid, so I looked at the time stamp on my phone. You can get a great meal made in less than 20 min in a sit down restaurant. There was only one guy cooking the chicken and one girl taking orders. There was at most 2 hot subs being made while I placed my order. I This is my second time at this Jersey Mikes in years. I chose Jersey Mikes over Tijuana Flats, and I made the wrong decision. I was also on my lunch break. I had to inhale my sandwich so that I can make it back in time. Not a "sorry for the wait" for the person who made my sandwich. Food is ok. I ordered a sub during April quarantine time though the app. During the order, it asked me what kind of car I was driving and indicated to pull the car up for curbside pickup. However, when I arrived, no employee was outside or coming outside for curbside pickup. I parked my car and proceeded to walk towards the store. There was a line of people waiting to go in the store to either place an order or pick up an order. There was a sign on the door stating no more than 5 people were allowed in the store. However, I observed people standing inside the store waiting for their order after they placed an in-store order. As a Healthcare worker, I only have 30-minute lunch break. I waited outside for about 15-20 minutes just to pick up an order after my order was placed on the app with a pick-up time. Really disappointed on how the pick up was handled especially it says to pull up for curbside pick up in the app. read more

This review is for this location only! I have had multiple wonderful experiences at the Kennedy location and will only go to that one from now on. I came in on a weeknight and there wasn't a single person in the store except for the 3 employees. I ordered 2 chipotle cheeseteaks with different toppings and I knew right away there was going to be a problem with the order. One cheesesteak was ordered with onions and lettuce, the other with mushrooms, pickles and tomatoes. Sounds fairly simple. But when the girl writing it down had to ask me 3 different times to repeat it, I knew it would be wrong no matter what I said. I was exhausted after work, hungry, and 9 months pregnant. Not the best conditions to have to deal with when trying to order simple food, so I was being patient. But man was I irritated when I got home and the orderes were so wrong they had items not even mentinoed when ordering. Let me reiterate - I was the only one in the restaurant besides the employees. I can't even begin to imagine how you mess up an order so simple when there is literally nothing to distract you. But like I said, I didn't want my hangriness to influence my opinion, until I actually tried to eat that mess and was appalled at the quality of the food. The meat was stringy, rubbery, and cold. The bread was stale. There was barely any cheese or sauce. it was basically inedible and even though I was hungry I couldn't eat it. This was going to be my husband's first chance at trying Jersey Mike's as I had raved about the Kennedy location for so long and we were both excited for him to try it. I wanted to snatch that sandwich away from him so it didn't influence how he thought about how a real Jersey Mike's sub tastes, but alas I did not and now he will probably never try them again. As I will never step foot in that location again even though it is 1 mile from my house. The thing that is so confounding is this is a chain - I understand difference in customer service between locations, but not food quality to that level. read more

My husband ordered me a Philly cheesesteak sub and he didn't know if I wanted the peppers and onions on it so he got it on the side. When he got home I was so excited to eat my sub and when I opened the foil to get my peppers and onions THEY WERE RAW?
