Vibes be vibing. Went in and the smell of absolute delicious hit my nose and I suddenly went from 'meh hungry' to 'starving'. I felt like an old cartoon floating from the smell of how good it was. I enjoyed their good taste in music, at the time I went in they had rock playing and it set the vibes for eating sandwiches. Don't even get me started on the sandwich- I love a good quality sandwich and they did not skim me at all on the meat. Not only fresh was it delectable but held in the fridge very nicely (compared to other known brands sandwiches) to be eaten the next day. Absolute smacking sandwich. 10/10 read more

Stopped in to try Danny's deli today, and I was not disappointed! They are situated in fishhawk in a strip mall next to 7-Eleven off of Boyette. I checked out the menu and was torn between the cheesesteak and the Italian. I decided on the 5 inch Italian, which was 7.99 and the 10 inch sandwich was 12.99. I believe it was the owner Danny himself who is making the sandwiches handed it to me. He was super nice and friendly! I got home and tried out the Italian, it was loaded! The sandwich was amazing so fresh flavorful and juicy. I really loved it! I'm super excited to come back and try the cheesesteak. I highly recommend coming to Danny's for a great sandwich read more

Let me start by saying I love it when local businesses do it right. Danny's Deli does it right. When I left California, I left behind my favorite deli, Dino's. Thankfully, I now have Danny's. Where do I start, I guess the food. The El Duque and Italian are outstanding. Get pepper sauce on the Italian. Oh, and the loaded potato salad, forget about it, outstanding. All of the crew is great, so service is always top notch. It is truly a neighborhood deli where you are known. Don't love the Philly decor, I mean I am a 9ers fan, but I can accept it since the food and people are so great. Go to Danny's, it will become your go to place for lunch. read more

I had the cheesesteak at Danny's Deli and I have to say, it's amazing. The flavor is rich, the texture is perfect, and everything about it hits just right. Hands down, it's the best cheesesteak I've had in Lithia (maybe anywhere). If you're in the FishHawk area and haven't been to Danny's yet, you're missing out. This place is the real deal. I've been waiting for a good deli to finally come to the Brandon area and this place is beyond that! I've already eaten here 3 times in the last 4 weeks and I will continue until I've tried every sandwich. The restaurant is extremely clean, the service is fast and beyond friendly, the price is great and the food is fantastic! Do something for yourself and eat at Danny's Deli! I have been meaning to stop by this deli, and I am so glad I finally did. They are in Fishhawk, which is a great location for me, personally. It's in a plaza that's easy to see and easy to park. The deli has a Phillies baseball kind of vibe. Everyone here was friendly and pleasant. I tried the Italian. It was super tasty. Meat is great. Toppings are great. Cherry peppers add some nice spice. I would come back for sure. The bread, though, is to be desired. I got the hoagie roll. I found it dry with a poor texture. Next time I would definitely go for Cuban bread or a wrap. It should also be noted that most of the sandwiches do not have Mayo or mustard, so if you want it, you'll have to ask. I like that they put different toppings than every other sandwich spot out there, but since Mayo and mustard are so standard, it may help if they let people know when ordering. read more

Stopped in for lunch after visiting a neighboring business and after watching so many happy customers skipping back to their cars with takeout I had to try it for myself. From top to tail the food, atmosphere, deco (terrible towel and soup nazi were my fav) and staff were awesome. Location is cozy and the outside tables are a nice touch. I tried the tuna on wheat with some loaded potato salad and I'm already wanting more. Can't wait to go back and try other things, the menu is great so it makes it hard to choose just one. This was our first visit and we were so glad we stopped by. We had the 10" Meatball Hoagie, which had 6 good sized meatballs, tasty red sauce and melted mozzarella. Excellent! We also took out the 10" Roast Beef Hoagie for later, and it had plenty of roast beef, cheese, lettuce, tomato, roasted pepper, onion and horseradish aioli, according to the menu. (The condiments added are not overpowering at all.) Their menu looked very tasty, and there was a refrigerated case with sides to go. Special of the day was a cheeseburger, and there is a rotating choice of soups. Place was clean, comfortable, friendly with table service if you wish. Our second time visiting here; love the roast beef hoagie. Plenty of meat, cheese, lettuce, tomatoes and the seasoning is perfect! Sides are also available in the case. Very nice menu, and clean, pleasant surroundings. Friendly people. The only thing I'll try differently is to avoid the hoagie roll, which was on the dry side. Somewhere I saw that they are being flown in from Philly? My advice: leave them in Philly and use fresher local rolls. In the meantime, I'll request it be on Cuban bread or some other bread for next time. read more

went here for lunch before our grandsons baseball game at fish hawk sports complex just down the street first thing you walk in it's bright and so clean and spotless i ordered the large Italian and my wife ordered a wrap both were very good size and very fresh ingredients and delicious I asked Danny to hold the dressing and leave it on the side because we were going to be hours at the ball field and I would have half now and the other later instead he made one half ready to eat and wrapped the other half and gave me the dressing on the side for later . real nice guy as well as his staff has a couple nostalgic video games and a pinball machine which I really wanted to play but had to go were 40 miles away in pinellas park and next tournament in fish hawk we'll be stopping in again read more
