The spec is to NOT melt cheese on the patty. I'm sure you can request to have this done. Does it impact the flavor greatly? Probably not, but the mouthfeel, texture, and visual appeal are affected. So ask for the cheese to be melted. Second tip, ask for unsalted fries. They pour about a half pound of salt in every bag. I mean jesus, hypertension here I come! As far as value is concerned, no one is competing with In-N-Out, but this location does offer a tasty burger. They also sell throat rockets. The opportunity of pairing up a double burger with a shaboingboing should not be missed if available. Popped in last night around 9:20 for some burgers and it was SO GOOD. I've actually never had Five Guys before lol. My fiancé thought that was the most crazy thing he's heard. It was SO fresh and made to order. I got the little cheeseburger with jalapeños, lettuce, tomato, grilled onion & pickles. AMAZING. They had great service. This specific Five Guys is just like most others I've been to. You get the usual free peanuts, lots of fries in the bag, and burgers that taste good but are definitely pricey. Their burgers are better than most fast food spots, and this location keeps that same quality. The service was fine, not amazing, but not bad either. Tried this new location around dinner time. The service was very good. We did not wait long for our food. We ordered bacon cheeseburgers and fries, along with soft drinks. We snacked on their famous roasted in the shell peanuts while waiting for our food. The food was warm , well made and delicious. Their fresh cut fries are some of the best. They always over fill the cup into the bag. The burgers had all the toppings we had ordered. The food is not cheap, but the portions are good We really enjoyed our quick dinner here and look forward to returning. First off, very very clean store! The staff were all amazing and friendly and most of all quick. Went in at almost exactly 12 so lunch rush for sure. But they had orders in and finished quickly, I was very impressed. The burger of course was amazing as 5 guys usually does. It might just be me but I always end up having a soggy bun no matter what burger I get lol. It doesn't really bother me too much it's just something I've noticed. read more

My first time at Five Guys. Ordered thru the app and that process was pretty easy except that the Apple Pay process did not work and I had to use a cc. I ordered a small bacon cheese burger with a reg fries and shake and it was a little over $23. At pick up the shake was not made but they made it on the spot. The rest was clean and the service was fine. The food was good, hot, plenty of extra fries were in the bag; it was better than a fast food rest. Even with that in mind, the cost of the meal will be an issue for me to consider if I will order here in the future. read more

My daughter had been anxiously waiting for this restaurant to open. We've had Five Guys before, but a lot of the locations nearby turned into Brandon Burger, which was no bueno. I like that they make your burger to order, fully customized to how you want it. That means it nice and hot each time you order. We ordered a Little Bacon Cheeseburger and a Little Cheeseburger. A "little" burger comes with one patty and a regular comes with 2 patties. We also ordered a Little Cajun Fry. Malt vinegar on the Cajun fries is LIFE!!! So good. They giving you a HEAPING amount of fries, meaning a "little" order is more than enough for two people. The food was good, it's just not my favorite burger spot. Restaurant is very clean. You order at the counter and they give you a number. They must be pushing the milkshakes, because they asked if I knew about their milkshakes and then asked twice if I didn't want one. Staff was friendly. The Little hamburger was ok, but it didn't taste that different from a Wendy's. The French fries were on the greasy side and the bag was filled with them . They give you a lot of fries, but I didn't care for them and ended up throwing most of them out. For the little hamburger, fries, and a drink, it was a little over $18. Way too pricey! read more

We love their burgers the best out of all the burger chains. It's considered more of a fast casual restaurant than a fast food restaurant, so I won't group them into that category. The burgers are made fresh to order and the meat is never frozen.. yadda, yadda, yadda. This location is brand new and it's hopping. I still don't understand why they closed the other 2 restaurants in Brandon a couple of years ago. They were always popular. Our visit on Saturday was a good one. My husband ordered a cheeseburger with what seemed like every topping on the menu (mushrooms, jalapenos, grilled onions, and so much more). I just got my usual hamburger with extra pickles. We shared an order of regular size fries. Honestly, I forgot that a small order is plenty for 2 of us. They fill that bag up with so many extra fries. We couldn't even them all. Everything was exactly as I remember. The burgers are juicy and well seasoned. The fries were delicious as always. They have the Coca-Cola Freestyle machines at this location. There were many Coke products to choose from with all different flavor options. The complimentary roasted peanuts are always great to have a round while waiting for your order. The shakes are thick and delicious. I didn't get one this time, but I will soon. I didn't get any pictures because we gobbled everything up too quickly. Service was great! The restaurant appeared to be clean. Our cashier was even sweeping up peanut shells when there was no line. It was all a very pleasant visit. We can't wait to go back. First visit to this location which is fairly new to our area. Our local Brandon store closed which is weird because it was always busy. Anyway we just wanted our standard 5 guys stuff brcause we are fans. Ad expected it was just like every other 5 guys which is great. No issues, delicious burgers and way too many fries (not really, they are the best). My only complaint now is the cost $31 for one little CB, one little bacon CB, one reg fry and two reg drinks. Honestly thats pricey and it will prohibit us from going there more often. I dont know how this cost is justified and I hope soneone from their corporate sees this. Would give less than 1 star if I could. The staff was rude - can't believe I left a good tip in the beginning. The staff messed up our order. When I advised the staff they were not very friendly about having to remake a burger all the way. When they re-made it they gave the wrong bag to us and wrong bag to another customer and then when we had notified them again, the staff got really upset because they had to remake my order again as well as another customers because they messed it up and were showing attitude to my daughter - I sat watched and waited for them to fix correctly. read more

Bun wasn't toasted. Onions and mushrooms were cold not sautéed. Cheese wasn't melted. They forgot my milkshake so I had to remind them. Having always been a fan of Five Guys, I was thrilled one was opening not to far from us again! I was craving a burger, which is weird because I seldom eat them, so we decided to give this new location a try. I ordered my usual, little bacon cheesebuger and hubs got a Little cheeseburger, a regular order of fries to split an 2 small drinks. Cost, almost $32. My burger was awesome, definitely satisfied my crave and I think they have the best fries ever! No problem at all with our meals. Being a new restaurant, it was clean with the typical Five Guy decor. What I really dislike are the high tables and chairs. Can't and won't sit at them. Afraid I'd fall and break a hip. I felt the place looked a bit disorganized with these tables. Don't get what they have them. The cost is ridiculous! These are not gourmet burgers! We would often take our twin grandsons here because they love it too. We'd pay around $30 for the 4 of us. Now we can't afford to take them, and I doubt we will be visiting very often either Because of the high cost. As a matter of fact I saw 2 parties of people come in, look at the menu, then walk out. Ordered online 30 minutes prior. App said the food was ready, showed up and they handed me someone else's order. I told had someone else's name on the order so they started making food. It took them 10 min to make 1 burger. If it was busy I would understand, but there's 5 customers in the restaurant and 6 workers. Half of them weren't doing much.
