So I admit I was hooked by their Bourbon Steak sandwich commercial. Growing up I used to love Arby's roast beef sandwiches. Once I got my driver's license, we would invariably head out to Arby's after getting home from High School. Such fond memories of how good that freshly carved roast beef sandwiches were. Imagine my disappointment in recent decades where the quality of the regular roast beef sandwich meat substantially declined. When the "Steak Sandwich" made its appearance, the commercial brought hope that this was a different higher quality cut off beef. Combined with cheese, onion rings, bacon, and BarBQ sauce couldn't be bad, could it? At a couple dollars more than a plain old Arby's roast beef sandwich I was willing to give it a try. The result was a bit of a mixed bag. As you will be able to see from the attached photos, the sandwich was a bit of a mess. Unlike that advertisements led us to believe, the onions rings were sections of an onion ring, the bacon was also small sections, and the assembly of the sandwich was not very aesthetic. That all being said, it tasted very good and the beef was definitely much higher quality than that found in the roast beef sandwich. Definitely potential here for four stars, if a bit more care and pride were put into assembling the sandwich. The one negative was that the bun was a bit soggy. However, there was about a 20 minute delay in getting home and unwrapping the food, so this may have been caused by the transport time.

This is what they say you get!

For a chain this location is always consistent in quality and maintains a cleans store. Wait times thru the driveway are short.

The staff are so friendly and down to earth. Kind people. I love that. The place itself is inviting and feels extremely unique. It was setup and decorated with care. You walk in and you're in a different place. You forget you're in a shopping center and that this is a storefront restaurant. The mint tea lemonade drink they serve...? DO NOT think twice about trying it. I'm not usually one for minty stuff, but this drink is absolutely phenomenal. What about the food, you ask...? Well, this is officially my place in all of Tampa Bay to eat Mediterranean food. And I've tried many that are absolutely delicious. But Jerusalem beats them all out. The meats are truly, expertly cooked, with flavors that give you that food high that leaves you feeling amazing after the meal. But then the sides are equally impressive. Everything down to their salads is fresh and packed with flavor and nuance. I have not had a bad thing on this menu. It's all been amazing. Oh... try their baklava. Not usually big on desserts, but I'll get that again for certain.

We ordered the Sampler so we could try a little bit of the basics on our first time visit. The sampler included hummus, baba ghanouj, falafel and pita - the baba ghanouj was the stand out. Pure deliciousness - just the right amount of garlic. :) We also enjoyed the lentil soup too - the owner came by our table to check in with us and was super excited for us to try it as she let us know she adds cilantro as her special touch. Can't wait to come back and try more delicious Middle Eastern fare at this locally-owned, family-run business.

Well, they've earned their rating with good reason!…read more A friend and I went on a bit of an unplanned adventure yesterday as the first place we were going to go to was closed for an event. After driving 30 minutes to that place in Plant City and realizing this, we decided, "why not drive some more?". Josephine's was on my radar due to their great reviews across multiple platforms, so we drove another 20-30 minutes to check it out. We arrived at the unsuspecting strip plaza, walked in to what was just one well lit, cozy strip in the plaza and were immediately greeted by Robby, the owner, who asked us if it was our first time in. We let him know that it was, and he proceeded to educate us on everything they have to offer, from their bar, their sandwiches, pizzas, salads, pastas, grocery and so on... the meatball sandwich was calling my name, along with their pizzas and their pastas - so many choices! I did land on the meatball sandwich and got a bag of chips and a glass of wine while my friend got the Italian salad and a coke. For note, this ran us about $45. It was well worth it. The meatball sandwich was 10" and was stuffed with fully ground beef meatballs, seasoned well and very cheesy - so good. I tasted the salad and it was great as well, with plenty of parmesan cheese to cover up the taste of leaves that I was consuming (I'm not a vegetables guy still). While we were dining at the bar, Robby took a bit more time to tell us how the store came to be, being named after his grandmother who, though she wasn't around to see what he had started, would no doubt be very proud as his/his employee service was excellent and the food was no different. At the end of our experience, Robby took our payment and we explored the store a bit. Robby was kind enough to offer me two of their mini cannolis and my friend a scoop of their salted caramel gelato on the house as a way of saying thank you for coming in; again, EXCELLENT service. Since leaving there yesterday, I have recommended the place to 7 people and will continue recommending it to more people due to their great value, service and delicious food. Huge thanks to Robby and the team at Josephine's for knowing how to do things the right way. I'll definitely be back.

The prices are extremely reasonable, which is why I end up here a few times per week. I'm a big fan of the veggie omelet. I get a side of hollandaise because theirs is absolutely the best. I also love their steak tips, when they are on special. Their grape leaves platter and fried seafood platters are also some of my regulars; just make sure you have a big appetite if you order either because they are substantial!

My wife, not knowing what to get, got a buffalo chicken sandwich on a kaiser roll. The food was up quick. My wife started in on her sandwich but the chicken wasn't hot and the sandwich just fell apart. The chicken appeared to be two Tyson chicken tenders covered in lettuce and tomato. Not even really sauced with buffalo. My turkey rueben was decent. Not the most flavorful and seemed to lack thousand island dressing. If it was there, it wasn't noticeable. The onion rings, however, were good. Crispy and hot. A low key lunch but a little bit of a let down for us. I wouldn't come back here.

They're using a New York-built wood-fired oven with a rotating turntable, so the pizza is constantly moving while it cooks, and you can taste the difference. The cheese melts evenly, the edges get that beautiful fire-kissed char, and the whole pie has that true fire-roasted flavor. The experience inside was just as good as the food. The restaurant is extremely clean, there's a ton of space (great for families or groups), and the staff was super friendly. They took time to talk with me and shared the Brandon location opened in 2018, and that they had to complete special training/certifications to even qualify to buy and operate that oven. You can tell it's a family-run business with real pride and passion behind what they're doing. Even the pizza box is a cool touch--nice branding and attention to detail. Only small critique: I just wish The Butcher's Pizza had a little more topping coverage. Flavor was great just could've used a bit more "loaded" factor for a butcher-style pie. Overall: solid pizza, amazing crust, great people, and a clean, welcoming spot. I'll definitely be back.
