The food was terrible, not as ordered and the staff was TOTALLY Belligerent - Stay Away!! I Went with my family to give Firehouse subs in Bloomingdale / Valrico another shot. Once again - was greatly disappointed. Our sandwiches weren't made as requested. The staff was extremely belligerent when they were asked to correct the issues. They added vegetables that were not requested. They steamed sandwiches that were asked to not be steamed. They removed add-ons that were asked for. They even used the wrong meat combos on the subs? They charged double for a sandwich that wasn't ordered. The manager and staff actually started yelling at my wife. When I became involved, the volume level increased to screaming. Many businesses aren't enforcing the mask order but it's nice to see that when I walked in without a mask because I left it at home, without saying a thing the employee behind the counter handed me one. This was such a simple thing, but it really shows their consideration to the policy's they put forth and the care they have for the other customers/staff present. I'm giving 2 stars because of other reviews saying the food is great. I tried... Tonight at 826 I placed an order thru a delivery service. Waiting waiting waiting. I know they close at 9. It takes 8 minutes to make a sandwich says another yelper. I'm thinking hoping they can throw it together throw it at the uber. But here is where 1 star comes from. I have absolutely no complaints! Firehouse subs is where it's at!!! My first introduction to FS was the free medium sub that they give for your birthday. (Keep that in mind when your bday comes along). I got the beef and cheese (Philly cheese steak)sub. It was great! Amazing flavors! A couple of weeks later and I've been here 2 days in a row during my lunch break. I only have 30min lunch break so if I didn't bring lunch I would go to tacobell, wawa, even order in for a pasta bowl at dominos. But I was sick of those places. Then I remember firehouse subs was right there! My break is usually at the time it opens (10:30) I come in at 11. With only 30min, I need a quick meal. FS is efficient and quick. They are not sloppy when making my sub. Importantly, QUICK! The wait is no longer than 8min. I'm greeted by the employees welcoming me with bright smiles! The menu is just mouth watering. From meatball subs to their moist chocolate chip cookies. I'm usually just staring at the menu. I have yet to try a sub that disappointed. The average medium sub meal that comes with a drink and your choice of chips, cookie, or Brownie. Is $9.40! Not too bad in my book! They have the coke variety machine so mix and match your favorite drinks and flavors with your meal. This is my new favorite lunch spot. I'm writing this now for something that happened on either May 22nd or May 23rd, I called the Corp. office and told them my complaint and the franchise owner was suppose to call me but after almost two weeks and my second call to corp. no one has bothered to call me, so here goes. When I went to this location to order some food, inside was two young men working behind the counter and there were twrmartra1@brighthouse.com o customers waiting to place their order. One of the customer's had a little dog with her, standing besides the customer's was also two females that worked at this location, one of the workers was holding the customer's dog cradled in her arm and both female workers were petting the dog. When they were done petting the dog, the dog was giving back to the customer. The girl holding the dog started to walk behind the counter turned and looked at me and said out loud oh I have to wash my hands, so she goes back to wash her hands and you can see her while she washes he hands she dries her hands and walks back to where they prepare the food, now my complaint is why didn't she also wash her arms due to the fact she was holding the dog in her arm. So after seeing all that I just walked out never to return. read more

This place reopened when it moved from the 199 W Bloomingdale location. It seems like the place was reborn, because it has new management. The service is ultra-fast and super friendly. Also the traffic is more easy to get in and out and also to find parking compared to the old location. Also if you want a landmark it is close to the intersection of Bloomingdale and Bell Shoals next to the Walgreen's. This is one of the best Firehouse Subs in the franchise. If you want to get in and out without a lot of bother then this place is for you. read more

I love Firehouse, and this is my favorite of the ones in my area. It's actually closest to my home, but is in a direction I almost never go, so I never frequented this location until very recently. I had my "last straw" experience at the Brandon Blvd. location recently and just do not want to go back there for my Firehouse fix if I can at all help it. This location is the opposite of everything that is wrong with Brandon Blvd. Service is friendly. Food comes up FAST - 5 minutes as opposed to 20. The store is neat and tidy. They get my order right. They give me time to punch in my phone number for the rewards, instead of racing to try and beat me, forcing me to submit my receipt via the app. Staff members come out to check and see if everything is okay, if you need anything, or see if they can take your tray for you. My 9 year old wanted a certain type of sub today and Firehouse is the only one who had it. We loved the great service and food.

Firehouse offers a variety of hot subs. Since the last time I visited they now offer a smaller sub, same great taste and perfect portion without over eating. The hook and ladder is my original favorite and a much try if you haven't. This location was very clean and the staff was very friendly. My daughter loves he soda machine that can offer different flavors for lemonade that you usually can't get from other sub shops. They also lightly toast the kids subs so the cheese is a little melted with is my daughters favorite. They also love all the firehouse decor and the Dalmatian pattern tables. read more
