So this place is very relaxed. It definitely gives off a mom and pops kinda vibe. The people here are friendly and the food was super filling . The prices are decent and you get what you pay for.

Great breakfast. Fast and friendly service. Got our food within 5 minutes. The anytime breakfast comes with coffee tea or soda. Amazing prices compared to most diners and great portions. Mom and pops type diner. If you're hungry and looking for cheap breakfast this is the spot to go.

I will start off by recognizing the staff here for being so nice and offering great service. Here's where I had to down star this review, One I understand that it's an old school spot on Brandon blvd. The bathroom in here was not clean and had some grime issues. Also the food itself was very bland the gyro meat didn't have much flavor and had chewy bits in the meat. The breakfast was just okay the eggs were cooked perfect and the sausage and gravy you could get by on but the sausage Patty tasted frozen and the grits had a funky taste to them im not sure if it was the cheese or the grits. The pancakes weren't as pretty as they tasted but I'd put those as good. From some of these reviews I can see this place has potential but it just didn't do it for us.

Food is good and the service is great. Like the name says, reminds us of restaurants we've eaten at in NYC. Check it out.

Pros: * We had about a five minute wait on a Sunday around 9:30 which isn't bad. * Food was fantastic * You don't have to ask for jelly, jams, marmalades, sugar, creamer, ketchup, etc. * Wait staff was friendly and attentive * 10% discounts for seniors (65+), military, & law enforcement * outdoor seating available Cons: * Atmosphere of a Waffle House without all of the yelling. They could definitely use a different space, or at least take the bar out and put a couple of double booths in. * The drink choice is of soda that evidently is not name brand, but they have unsweetened and sweetened tea, coffee, and juice. * Limited seating inside * Entrance and table....people touch your chairs, brush up against you and definitely don't give others their space when sitting on the other side so my mother and I sat on one side to avoid people touching our chairs or us while we were eating. It was weird to have people feel like they were looking at us while we were eating. I'd eat here again, but definitely not at that table again. I would 100% recommend them to take that table out and make that the hostess table. It was very uncomfortable to sit there.

In town to visit our son and attend a Rays baseball game; we were on the hunt for local cuisine and found this place. We were warmly greeted upon entering and were seated quickly. Our server was pleasant and very attentive. I ordered French toast, my husband and son ordered omelets, and my daughter had sausage; the meals came with grits/hashbrowns, and wheat toast; my husband also ordered pancakes. Everything was simply yummy! A great breakfast place with a very laid-back atmosphere!

WOAH!! You know me and my mom been trying to come to this diner for years now. It has a very random time slot. We never could stop when its open due to work or family related responsibilities. My Diner Jesus must've been hearing my prayers!! I was driving the nurse staff crazy yesterday with me talking about food n restaurants while i waited for my turn. I was last surgery so I haven't eaten sense the day before n i get crabby the hungrier i get! So the more passionate i get of the food subject. While heading to Walgreens to drop off prescription the madam in drugs area told me it would take hours n i did notice the Diner was open!! So i started dropping very obvious hints to my mom n things that would make me happy like the ? DINER. That I wouldn't complain nor kick n scream if she force me inside lol so we went there cuz i think she heard me lol i been curious of what it would be! The business is heavy tinted, place looks like a breakfast club. They added cute outside sitting but i feel they need to invest on umbrellas or metal roofing for shade. Place is actually compact, be patient it is very popular when it's open. It has a great area to sell, right next to many retirement communities. While i waited a young man started chit chatting with me. He asked me if i been here before n I explained my journey trying to come before. He agreed that it has a random time set to lol. He also mentioned it has been bought by new owner so we will get lucky to better operational hours Yay! We were offer a tiny table n I agreed for it. We don't like confiscating big tables just for two. Sense i got a broken arm i was ok with the table to. They took drinks first n then the menu came. Their IJ taste fresh n very tarty. It delicious! Read the whole menu n was a bit stressed but mom found what i like best of other locations. The "sampler" mind you when im in pain my patience fluctuates a lot but i do my best to stay collected. I believe it was called; the new york platter" mom picked that one n i went with the Deluxe! The difference was the extra french toast! What better way to properly rate food n quality with a nice sampler. Mom stayed in traditional with, eggs, bacon, hah etc. I went the tomato slices instead of hash. Main dish rolled out, eggs were perfect to my liking; sunny side up is what i like. Nice tender whites and runny yolk to smear over my toast like egg jelly lol I behaved this time n didn't lick the egg off lol bacon was toasty n amazing to! Tomatoes nice n fresh. Not soggy which i like em in the crisp.m side. Toast was great to but the butter was fantastic! No need to add jelly. It was well saturated n the butter was tasty. I reminded the madam about mg french toast n after a while she came rolling in. She surprised me! She placed a medium growler on the table n i got excited! I thought she brought me a beer! Lol we laugh n she said no alcohol here. Also offered moonshine shits in the parking lol a joke of course. My brain was waIting for wink wink though lol nice single thick french toast. Gave me a full size slice. It looks like they make the bread or buy em uncut. It was easily 1.5 inches thick. Heavy powder sugar on top, n two butters.... I ate the F___k outa it. No butter no jelly. Just syrup layer n gobbled it hard! I know what i want next time lol. Will definitely come back for the lunch menu to. We had a little accident n the neighbors help us out cleaning the spilt juice. It's very nice to be surrounded by good folks to. Sound level was medium, most people were in their own zone. Not that loud n u can see n hear the staff being amazing to. The have handheld POS devices so they get the orders in straight to the computer. That's a good thing especially with how busy this business is. They can close out the tab to on the spot or at hub by door. We were on our way n in the duration of our visit i noticed everyone ate the hell outa their food. Waves of people coming in n some out. I really enjoyed my visit. I miss mom n pops type diners. They are my favorite types. U get country type if menus n local flavors to. You would never find in a corporate run establishment. Like i said in the beginning; have patience although the New York dinner is small? It packs a tittans punch! Food is amazing! Good place to take tour elderly for some delicious grub! To lazy to exit; the meal was called the Any time breakfast deluxe. Its hard to edit this with one hand P_P

Looked for a new place for breakfast and came across this diner. It's a little out of the way and small inside but the service was great and the food was delicious.

    Veggie Omlet
    T C.

We came by to try after it changed owners. It was really cold so bring a sweater, several people were complaining but it did not seem to change. The new chef was saying it is her thirteenth day and her fault food was taking so long. We ordered veggie omlet no cheese but came with feta. They quickly remade and it was good. We also ordered chicken fried steak and gravy. It was fair and gravy was kind of bland. Coffee was good and kept full. Be sure to try the grilled blueberry muffin. They are going through some growing pains but miss the family feel it had before.

My husband and I went for a quick honeymoon getaway, just 2 nights of our Florida trip because our room was booked over the weekend. There was plenty of parking in front of the hotel which was perfect because we didn't need our car in Dunedin. Check-in was seamless and the communication with the front desk was excellent. We stayed in the Zen Suite which has a patio facing the street. There is a lovely wine bar with live music across the street. Both nights we sat outside and enjoyed the music but do visit Stirling Wine (I reviewed them as well, great crowd). The Zen Suite is so comfortable and thoughtfully decorated. Anything you need is already in the room including dishes, flatware, refrigerator, iron, blow dryer and robes. It was easy to relax. The king bed was very comfortable. We found everything in the room easy to operate - TV, AC, door locks. We also enjoyed the pool area. The pool wasn't heated so it was too cold for me but my husband enjoyed it. I relaxed on a lounge chair with an umbrella. We also took advantage of the breakfast promo with the red next door which was very convenient. Overall 10/10 doesn't cut it. My husband and I debated where to stay and took a risk with Crystal Blue Lagoon B&B, since we couldn't find a lot of reviews online. We booked the manatee room because we were charmed by the eccentric decor (it seemed better than a potentially run down room in a generic chain hotel) and we could not have been happier with our choice! While in Crystal River, we spent a lot of money on private boat tours (Manatees in Paradise is the best if you're wondering), but you don't even need to book a tour if you stay here. They have a manatee sanctuary spring pretty much on the property (populated by 30+ manatees during our stay). Plus, they have tons of water toys you can use and everything you need to swim with the manatees on site. Many of the boat tours would anchor there so people could swim with the manatees, but we had a perfect view of them by just standing on the lawn and looking into the spring, something the people on the boat tours couldn't do. Truly, it was the best manatee experience we had in Crystal River! Our room in the B&B was comfortable, clean, and completely charming, if not luxurious. It feels a bit like visiting your most artistic friend or family member. The shower had great water pressure and plenty of hot water, which came in handy as the weather was cold during our stay. The kitchen was overflowing with a huge assortment of snacks, drinks (including wine and beer), and food you can prepare if you're so inclined. I've already recommended Crystal Blue Lagoon B&B to friends, and we will absolutely stay here next time we visit!
