This place is an absolute hidden gem. If you are looking for a legit diner, this is it. I have only come for breakfast, but everything I have ever tried is phenomenal. The gyro omelette is my favorite. It's substantial, the meat is flavorful, and the omelette is always executed well. My partner always goes for the steak and eggs. Their pancakes are some of the best around. The service is always fast and the wait staff is attentive. I love that they play Greek music! This place is incredibly affordable. I always leave here full and happy.

Visited a few times over the past few weeks. Had breakfast and lunch. Both were very good. Friendly staff, good food, excellent value for the money. Have not had dinner yet, but I'm sure it will be good. I highly recommend A&G Diner. We did not take photos of our lunch meals, however we had a turkey club ( came with two sides) I had the chicken rice soup and side salad. My granddaughter had spaghetti with butter and her drink was included in the kids meal price.

Where do I begin? My family and I were out in Brandon to do a "Facebook Marketplace Meetup" and decided we would try something new since we were on the opposite side of town. We passed a few different places that piqued our interest, but then we were at a stop light on Parsons and saw A&G Diner. A&G is a tiny "hole-in-the-wall" type of place, which we love. And it was PACKED at 6:30pm. We finished our Market Place transaction and made our way back to A&G. By the time we got there at 7:30pm, the crowd was more manageable (they close at 9pm on Fridays). Zoie was our server and she was very friendly. She was happy to welcome new customers and gave us the "lay of the land." To be honest, our choices were a bit overwhelming, simply because there was so much we wanted to try. After much deliberation and questions very patiently answered by Zoie, I decided on the Fish Sandwich, Fries and Cole Slaw. My son ordered the Chicken and Waffles, my daughter ordered their Cuban Sandwich and freshly made Deviled Crab, and my wife had the Chicken Picatta. Oh, and my wife and I love Fried Okra, so we ordered a side of that as well, as well as the onion rings. The verdict? It was all DELICIOUS. The fish sandwich was Sea Bass. It was light, fluffy and perfectly cooked. My sides were also great. The Cuban Sandwich was thick and juicy, with perfectly pressed Cuban Bread. The Waffles were thick and perfectly cooked, along with the Fried Chicken Tenders. And the Picatta? My wife was very surprised to have such a good Picatta at a "diner." BTW, the tomato slices in the Picatta picture are from the Fish Sandwich. The Fried Okra, was also fresh and tasty. But be warned, the servings are HUGE. We had plenty of food for lunch the next day. My Fish Sandwich was accidentally even larger than it was supposed to be, as the chef misread the order. They actually apologized for giving me so much food! :) As our dinner progressed, we had a wonderful conversation with our server, another server, and the owner. A&G was a very pleasant surprise and we will definitely find reasons to go back to Brandon so we can eat there again.

The service is phenomenal and top tier. Very welcoming and warming environment. Very affordable as well. I will be revisiting many, many more times! The food feels like home.

Came here for a work dinner as a recommendation but was underwhelmed…read more The inside has a Mediterranean vibe with what looks like a beautiful bar but the options for drinks weren't the best. The sangrias and margaritas for the buy one get one were premade and wine choices were limited. The food was just ok. I got the Acropolis seafood with rice. It was just a few, very small pieces of seafood with veggies as a filler. The service was hit or miss. At times attentive and others it took a while to get back to the table. They also didn't tell us about drink specials initially. Later when our bills came, almost everyone had to send theirs back for edits for the drink specials we did get.

Upon being seated you're served warm and freshly made pita with the most delicious and smooth tzatziki for dipping. Sooo good! We started with the calamari which was perfectly lightly battered and seasoned lightly, and cooked so well it wasn't chewy, had the slight crisp to it, and was served with a slightly battered and fried banana pepper and a few carrot sticks as well. Absolutely delicious. Every time. My daughter had the Acropolis seafood with rice. Sautéed shrimp, mussels, scallops, mushrooms, red onions and bell peppers with Acropolis signature roasted red pepper sauce over rice or penne pasta. Topped with shaved parmesan cheese She's incredibly hard to please and she loved her food. She said the rice was the perfect choice over the pasta as it was lighter for her and so much food she couldn't finish. Very well seasoned and full of flavor. I had the Chicken Rhodes. Premium grilled chicken breast in a manatari sauce, sautéed with artichokes, sun dried tomatoes, spinach and olives. Topped with crumbled feta cheese and served with orzo and roasted vegetables. It was DELICIOUS. The chicken was cooked well, but the FLAVORS were a party in my mouth! The roasted vegetables were the best I've had anywhere. Perfectly cooked and the seasoning and flavor was out of this world! I would go just to order the veggies they were that amazing! Brussels, zucchini, squash, and peppers. Fire!! Star of the plate! I demolished them first. The chicken was smothered in delicious toppings! The artichokes, Kalamata olives, sun dried tomatoes, feta, the sauce, everything was incredibly lip smacking delicious. The orzo was cooked perfectly with just the right amount of flavor to be subtle with the well seasoned veggies and complimented the dish perfectly. It was served with feta, some roasted red peppers, and a few olives in it as well. Our meal was fabulous and I can't wait to go back and try more things off the menu. I have no idea why this place wasn't busier.

Pro-tip: additional parking is located just down the street (look for the blue building with signage). I got to enjoy brunch on the outdoor patio (covered, breezy, and dog-friendly) recently and was blown away. We started with coffee and the aforementioned pastries (get them early because they all sell out!). The spanakopita was the perfect, flakey, savory intro and then paired perfectly with the sweet baklava coffee cake and croissant cinnamon roll. All three were exceptional and next time I'll go next door to their market and buy some to take home. From there we dug into breakfast dishes. I shared the Strapatsada (vegetarian, but you can add meat options), which is a Greek scramble with caramelized onion, roasted cherry tomato, creamy feta, grilled baguette; along with the Med Morning Yogurt Bowl (v, gf) featuring fresh berries, house granola, mint, greek thyme honey. The granola was clearly house-made and I would also opt to purchase it at the market if they sell it! Both dishes were satisfying and hit the savory/sweet combo I was searching for. Finally, the service was fabulous and friendly and they even brought a water bowl for my pup. Great spot and my #1 go-to when in Tampa now!

Which is cool, just not my cup of tea. Coffee ripped. Knew it would. They had some sort of maple oak milk concoction. I'm not entirely sure if that's the real government name of it but it was great - homemade they say. See the lil wrap/gyro deal in the picture, yeahhhh good stuff. Took it all down. Fries were a good cut. Sauces were house made, what was it you ask - no idea. But don't care, they were great. Food was great. Just felt like I didn't fit in. Or maybe I just was not prepped/dressed to feel like I was in Mykonos on a cruise and that was the excursion for the day. Idk, good stuff overall.

I was also shocked I had never heard of it. I went yesterday for the first time to have it in person and was blown away at the quality of food in terms of how fresh EVERYTHING was and how efficient the service was. The staff was so so wonderful. Cassie, Clayton, & Joy were all such a pleasure to meet and speak to. I'll be happy to go support them in their new location opening in Largo. Getting into the food - here's what we ordered and thoughts on each: - Trio of Spreads: Pesto Hummus, Roasted Garlic Feta, Tzatziki w/ grilled & fried pita chips. Each dip was INSANE and you could tell by the taste they were not only homemade but made to order. My favorite was the whipped feta but i could genuinely eat each of them everyday. They asked if we wanted the pita grilled or fried and when I asked which was better they gave us both! And I'm so glad they did because I really enjoyed both and had never had fried pita before (delicious of course). I will be getting this every time. I do remember the dips going crazy when we had gotten it catered and they hit just as hard this time around. - Chopped Greek Salad w/ potato salad. I had this infamous dish when we had it catered and I was literally addicted to the potato salad. I remember I had a plate of everything else then went back for a full plate of the potato salad. I definitely recommend getting this salad chopped over the traditional way as it is much easier to eat. So unique they add the pasta salad to it!! - Chicken Souvlaki Pita. I always get gyro pitas so was trying to switch it up here and I was so glad to finally try Chicken Souvlaki (I've had Greek sooo many times but never tried it) and it was SO yum. Definitely a good change of pace for me. - Gyro Pita Platter. Still needed to try out their gyro so got the platter which is basically a deconstructed pita. I love that you're able to add as much or little of each of the ingredients - it reminds me of taco nights! The gyro was fire of course. - Greek Feta Fries. These were seasoned to PERFECTION. I was stuffed but couldn't stop eating them. You gotta order these at every Greek place and constantly compare. These were a wedge vibe and the perfect amount of potato in my opinion (I'm Irish so I prefer a thick steak fry to a skinny mcdonald's fry). The flavor went crazy. EXTRA SAUCES - DONT SLEEP ON THE SPICY TZATZIKI
