New post gym breakfast diner! The staff are always so sweet and helpful, and the service is quick without feeling rushed. Everything I've tried has been flavorful and fresh; the biscuits are soft and buttery, the corned beef hash and turkey sausage are perfectly seasoned, and the eggs and pancakes are always spot on. Highly recommend if you want a tasty, southern breakfast to start your day.

Make sure you come hungry to Mom's Place Restaurant because the portions don't mess around! You really can't go wrong with your order, everything was a hit. We each got our own savory dish and then split the pancakes which was perfect given how decadent they were; Cinnamon Toast Crunch perfection. If you looking for a great bang for your buck and to leave feeling full for the rest of the day, Moms Place is the place for you.

Staff was great, priced good and food was good. Old school diner feel. Definitely would go back if we lived local.

I love this place and the food is such an amazing portion for so little price. The service is fast and great and the environment is chill.

Stopped by Mom's Place this morning on the way to an appointment. Hubby and I had never been here nor noticed the diner tucked away on Dale Mabry. We were greeted by the staff as soon as we walked in. Every one was very friendly. The diner was just like those diners of day old, with the booths to sit in, we loved it. Place had a good crowd of people, you know like when you walk into a place and you know you must have stumbled across something good. I enjoyed my biscuits and gravy breakfast with bacon and scrambled eggs. Hubby had the pancakes, eggs and sausage. We both enjoyed our breakfast. Definitely a must try if your every in the area. A good variety of items on the menu.

I've been coming here for over 20 years with my family and can say this is one of the best breakfast spots in Tampa! Amazing food and the prices are great as well. The biggest thing I can say is how consistent they are after all these years to where the food still taste as good as it did 20 years back!

This time, with a different group of friends, we were inside-on a Saturday evening. Glad we had a reservation. Because it was bustling and humming. But the vibes were still happy and healing. (As were the cocktails! The spicy pineapple margaritas are fantastic!) My fiends each ordered something different: a burger for one, a salad for another and a pizza for yet another. They were each delighted with their choices. I went for two appetizers: the charred cauliflower... which was excellent (those dates!) and a seasonal butternut squash soup that was unforgettably good-it satisfied both stomach and soul. One friend savored a Manhattan and two were all into the lavender matcha. Four completely different palettes but the same happy feeling. I'm glad Graze exists, because I feel like they have quite a few options that meet what I'm looking for. This time I got a kale Caesar with blackened Ahi tuna on it. The Ahi tuna was absolutely delicious. I found the kale Caesar had a bit too much sauce, it tasted extra cheesy to me, so I think this Caesar sauce which is homemade has quite a bit of cheese in it for those of you who may not be big cheese fans. What would have made this five stars is if it had less sauce, so next time I might ask for the dressing on the side so I can control putting it on myself. I appreciate that they text you when your order is ready so you can walk around, I was able to go back to my table and sit with the family until my order was ready. Great local business if you love hot chicken…read more I've been wanting to try this place out for ages, but it's so specific (only chicken!) that I usually cannot convince my family to go. But today, I decided to do a Costco run and forego their food court, and try out Crossroad Hot Chicken by myself. I ordered online before heading over. Super easy. Food was ready 5 minutes before I got there and packed up well. I got the 3 piece chicken tenders, x-hot, with a side of the greens. The tenders were more like half a chicken breast each. Huge. Very succulent chicken, not dry at all. They were crispy and very spicy. I'm part Thai. After a few bites, I was wishing that I had ordered the mac and cheese instead to help offset the spice, but I persevered. The greens were good, very smoky tasting, but they were overwhelmed by the spicy chicken, so I only recommend them if you get the mild or medium chicken. Really nice staff at the restaurant. While I got my food to go, the sitting area seemed nice and comfortable for a casual meal.

What I really liked about their app is that it is simple to use, no fuss. They don't have a huge menu but their options are easy to pick. I included some pics in my review. The back of the small restaurant is where the pickup counter is. We have our name and was out in 30seconds, wow, great fast service and with a smile. Now for the food review. The chicken meat portions on the sandwiches are huge, like 2 chicken breast. The breading and crispness was good, had flavor. The actual bun with slaw was a bit lack luster. The mild was a true mild as it should be, almost touching hot but not. My hubby's hot sandwich was also true to heat level... so we were both pretty glad about that. The Mac and cheese, so so cheesy! I do think that for $3 though I should have received a little more. I will say the flavor was a little on the light side though, but that cheesiness definitely was welcome to combat the hot chicken. I'd rate it a 4 outta 5. So for the hot chicken alone, magic answer to that first time visit question if we'd return?... maybe. If hubby is in the mood he said he'd come back. Hot chicken is not my thing but hubby gave his hot chicken sandwich a 3.5 so a good experience, slightly better than average. If you like hot chicken, definitely try this place!

For dinner, I chose the Rotisserie Farm Bird. The sauce it came on was good, but the breast was really dry. I used all the sauce on the plate for it, but I could still barely eat it. I had to ask a waitress passing by for some ranch (a trick, I learned to eat my mother-in-law's chicken). Of course the thigh and drum were better because they always are. The veggies on the plate were green beans, carrots, pearl onions, and potato. I don't know why people don't like their vegetables cooked anymore, but I don't like crunchy green beans. The carrots weren't exactly crunchy, but they weren't exactly cooked tender. They were definitely a weird texture. The (large) pearl onions were OK, but I would've preferred actual pearl onions rather than these that were kind of like the size of a shallot. The best thing on the plate was the potato and of course, not enough of it. I am diabetic so I did not try the whiskey cake. I'm sure it would have been delicious.
