I came in to Mity Nice Cafe on the same day that my nearby employer mandated that I begin returning back to work in the COVID era. Even though I had seen it many times before while passing by, I had never stopped in before. Now, what better time to stop by and compare what the rest of our little industrial neighborhood has to offer. To start, know that Mity Nice Cafe is only open Monday through Friday until 2:30PM. If you happen to be in the neighborhood any other time, then keep on driving! Since it's popular in the area, I ordered the Cuban sandwich. Not a bad representation of the Tampa Bay classic. The sandwich was pressed, but the bread still seemed a little thin, but was excellent otherwise. It was still crunchy and flaky in all the right ways. The restaurant was very clean, the service was friendly and quick. It is a smaller restaurant, so seating is limited. Social distancing is enforced. I've already decided on what I'm ordering next visit. A breakfast sandwich! Since Mity Nice Cafe is so close to my office, I may just call ahead to pick up on my way in. Good stuff! read more

Visiting from out of town with the squad & we were on the beach hungover and needed a Cuban Sammie asap. We find ourselves passing this lowkey cutie locally owned cafe and decide to hit it. We order 6 Cubans and we all unanimously agree we just had the absolute best Cuban ever. Possibly the best in Tampa Bay maybe even the world. So I was craving BBQ but the place was closed and I happened to stumble upon Mitys. Being from Chicago, I had big expectations for the italian beef. Typically parking is a little difficult in this area but I went at an off hour so it was fine. The space was really open with plenty of seats to choose from. There were a lot of good options and I decided to go with the Italian beef, but not dipped. I had it with the giardiniera peppers. It was a normal sized portion, but for a hefty individual like myself, you're gonna want a side. The flavor was great and the bread was nice & crispy. The auju sauce was on point. The price was $8, which was on the more pricey side for just a sandwich. I would definitely eat here again but i would try another sandwich. The employees were nice and helpful. read more

I went inside to take look at the menu and noticed as I decided that, there aren't many chairs and tables in here, but it seems most people just order food for pick up or delivery. There is a good assortment of salads, burgers, wraps and sandwiches that are mainly served with cuban bread. I ordered the Bently, sliced roast beef, grilled onions, spinach, bacon and blue cheese crumbles on a crusty and buttery cuban bread. The taste was really rich and flavorful and quite enough for lunch. I also ordered the potato salad that seemed to be something other than mayo based, due to it's thickness, it was very good as well since I personally don't care for mustard based. Either something is wrong with the order (like this time 2 of the 3 drinks we ordered were NOT there) or the delivery time is way off and I end up eating cold food much later than I expected. On the delivery time, don't you think it would be a good idea to call a customer if you're running late as opposed to the customer needing to call you at the time the food was supposed to be delivered? After visiting another small restaurant in this area, I drove by Mity Nice Cafe and eventually wanted to stop in. The lady working couldn't have been nicer. She took my order and within a few minutes went back and cooked up my order that was brought out a few moments later. I was in and out of there in less than five minutes. The storefront itself is on the smaller side and there are only about five tables to eat at, which is common in most industrial parks since people are coming and going frequently. Everything on my order was cooked to perfection and tasted terrific. The price was right and the quality was even better. I love finding small places like this because they know how important your business is and they do everything possible to make items with care to keep you coming back. read more

My review for Mity Nice Cafe - Tampa I will never order from them again. I order the Breakfast Platters - Mity Pancakes that comes with two pancakes and 1 Bacon or Sausage. I asked for two eggs instead of the meat and they wanted me to pay an additional 1.50 on top of the 5.34 I paid for the platter. I explained to them that if I'm not getting the meat why are you still charging me for the meat. I asked how much is two pancakes the lady on the phone said call back when the owner comes. I told her you already took $5.34 and I order at 8am and it is now 9:02am and you want me to call back to find out how much for two pancakes when ive already been waiting an hour. she said I have customers in front of me and the owner is not here so I cant stay on the phone with you. so I asked her what about my money I paid for my meal already she stated that I can go online and call the 800 to ask for a refund instead of trying to correct the issue. now I have to take a early lunch at 9:30am just to drive to the location in order for something to be done with my money or my food. All they had to do was charge me for two pancakes and two eggs and if it was over the 5.34 i originally paid i would of paid the difference in the price but instead they would rather turn a customer away. Sadly the croissant sandwich was burnt, the biscuit was burnt and the gravy was cold. Not sure why they pressed a croissant like a Cuban sandwich?! Called to explain and the woman on the phone says that she told the cook it looked burnt and he said it was fine and sent it out. She then put me on hold at which point a man in the background asked what the problem was..she explained about the burnt and cold food to which he replied "Tell her to put it in the damn microwave"...! She then came back on and said I would have to call back later for a refund or contact some third party online order company..wtf?! Terrible customer service and terrible food.
