    Jordanian Breakfast
    Ruthie R.

This was my first time visiting Lina's after a friend's recommendation. I went for the Jordanian Breakfast Special and it was everything that I hoped for. It includes 2 eggs (your style), veggies, cheese, olives, labneh dip, hummus, pita, and spices. *Chef's kiss Lina offers weeknight dinner specials and Thursday Bingo Night. As soon as my weekday/night schedule clears up, I plan to be a regular! I would have liked the option of gluten-free bread or pita since I have gluten intolerance, but I can always bring my own. Most importantly, Lina and the staff are amazing. They are so friendly and they treat you like family.

Exceptional food and top-tier service. There is a personal touch here that you only find with small businesses--highly recommended for anyone looking for a quality dining experience

I love writing reviews like this one. A very hard working couple, long hours and days, serving very good food. Lina was it. She met me at the door. She seated me. She took my drink order. Then my food order. She brought my food out. She checked on me. She gave me my check. (Fair price warning). We chatted a bit. Natural and relaxed. A very likeable person, with a drive to succeed. Do drop in. Say hello to Lina. And wave to her equally hard working hubby in the kitchen. He's it. In 'the back of the house'. I wish them well.

I had the 2-2-2 and loved it! I especially needed pancakes today since the weather is in the 30's. Our waitress is friendly and prompt. Lina always makes you feel welcome when you enter her orbit. I enjoy seeing the mural as well as the scrolling "Lina's News" on the mounted tvs. Nice ambiance.

My husband is so picky. I was hoping this would be a good choice. It's under new ownership so was not sure what to expect with the food and service. So here it is..... AMAZING!!! The food. The service. Everything was great. I am being completely honest when I say this. If you are reading this..... go get you some!! I had a build your own omelette with ham, cheddar cheese and spinach. It came with 2 sides and toast. Awesome deal. I got hash browns and grits. My husband got a waffle with scrambled eggs and bacon. And he ate my grits. We loved all of it. The eggs were made perfectly. We were also given a free Mimosa. Yum!!! Overall great breakfast at a really nice place. We will definitely go back for sure.

We had the sweetest experience at Lina's Restaurant! We stopped by for their weekend brunch and were warmly welcomed by Lina and the chef-owner himself--it felt like visiting family. Brunch includes a complimentary mimosa and the food was full of flavor and made with care. We started with their housemade hummus and baba ganoush served with warm pita--so fresh and delicious. For mains, we tried several of their top handhelds: Philly cheesesteak Reuben Smash cheeseburger Cuban sandwich Each one was packed with quality ingredients, perfectly seasoned, and clearly made with love. And to finish we had Lina's signature blueberry muffins--light, sweet, and the perfect ending. Beyond the food, the hospitality made the visit unforgettable. It's rare to find a place where the owner is so hands-on and passionate.

I consider this as a secret find when you are in the mood for some real Mediterranean treats like a good stuff grape leaves, falafels, hummus, babaganoush (egg plant)...all home made. In addition, they have a full menu for traditional breakfast and typical diner lunch and dinner food like sandwiches and cheeseburgers. The service is always super friendly, like a genuine family owned restaurant. While it's nothing fancy, it's a spot to definitely checkout if you like Mediterranean yummy foods.

Found this place recently and decided to give it a try. I ordered the special of the day and the wife got a falafel salad. My dish was really not much more than baked chicken (which was dry) with a clove spice flavored rice with a handful of carrots for $13,99. The server said it was enough to feed two people. I will leave that up to your opinion but would not have fed both of us. Our server was nice but struggled with English so communication was a little difficult. The wifes falafel salad was a little better but not great. The falafels were tasty but she had to remove number of pieces of wilted lettuce. Overall I don't think we will be back especially with Agave Social at the other end of the building.

I came here for lunch and was immediately greeted and seated. The decor is very unique with the wall murals. I got Lina's Signature Bowl with Falafel. I really enjoyed it. The Falafel and hummus was quite tasty. My one complaint would be the olives were black olives and it would have tasted better with Kalamata olives. The server was friendly and attentive. I would give it a 4.5 star for this meal.

If you haven't tried the smashburgers here, you are missing out! It's my favorite in Tampa! Food is top tier, service is excellent, and it's all around a great, local place!

Perfectly grilled...crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside. Krispy on the outside and flavorful on the inside. The Baba Ganju was different than what I was expecting and not something I personally liked (not any fault to the dish, I'm just a texture person). The chicken shawarma and gyro platter (it's a platter at dinner) were FANTASTIC! Seriously, so much flavor, fresh, the meat was not overly cooked. Everything tasted very fresh and we seriously had no complaints!! We also ordered a side of Batata, which are sort of crispy potato cubes with chili flakes + garlic - so good! I will say when we got there, there was a mishap and we waited over 20 minutes to be greeted and introduced to our server after we sat down. Once our server realized we were in her section, the rest of our service was amazing! I think that was just a one off fluke, and I would not let it negatively impact my experience.

I ordered a whiskey sour that was just okay - no froth of any kind on the top, which was kinda disappointing. I really enjoyed the feel of the place on the inside, though. It was very warm and cozy - I think everyone feels the same way. They've done a phenomenal job with the design choices inside. That first experience did not turn me off from trying them out again due to the ambiance and the solid experience with our server, who handled our large group well. I returned yesterday prior to another Lightning game with my dad. It admittedly was not my first choice, but after seeing how ridiculously packed Yard House was and seeing that another bar of choice was not open, we landed on Predalina. It was booming in there prior to the game, with a mix of other fans and also better-dressed-than-I patrons who were obviously there specifically for Predalina and not just getting pregame cocktails. There were a few single chairs available at the bar - no two seats open next to each other - meaning one person in our party of two had to stand. No big deal and to be expected, given the time of day and the influx of people downtown for the game. We were greeted by our bartender, Jada, and boy, were we lucky to have her! I started with another whiskey sour - specifically requesting egg white this time and choosing Michter's as my liquor of choice. My dad got their in-menu Old Fashioned. His drink was out quite quickly and was great, with the flavors being slightly reminiscent of chocolate milk - in a good way. Mine took a bit longer, with her having the extra step of needing to add the egg, but it was worth the wait! It was very smooth and easy to sip on, not too sweet and not too sour. After we finished those, we ordered the zucchini chips (picture poorly taken by yours truly) and made a bit of a request of Jada. We asked if there were any drinks she had been working on or that she enjoyed making, adding that we were fine with any liquor other than vodka - something from bourbon to gin or mezcal - and left it all up to her. She ended up making us a mezcal sour (I think, also pictured). I am not the biggest mezcal fan myself, unlike my dad, but I always love trying what the bartender likes to make, and this cocktail definitely improved the mezcal experience for me. It made it much smoother, getting rid of the slight bitterness that you can get with mezcal sometimes and making the smokiness more bearable. My dad then requested she make one more of that same drink, but with Laphroaig instead, to see how that interacted with the other flavors of the cocktail. It had a similar effect, neutralizing a bit of the smokiness that, to me, is too much with Laphroaig on its own. Hats off to Jada for making some kick*** cocktails and, seemingly, having fun doing it - that's a big part of the experience, seeing the bartender enjoying their art. This is a great place for a night out with friends, a date night, or pregaming hockey games - or any other reason you may have to go somewhere and enjoy solid food and great cocktails - at least as long as you get Jada as your bartender. I can't speak for the other bartenders... yet.

There was never a reason to go back when you can instead walk an extra 30 seconds and go to Boulon. I ran into a guy that told me he loved going to Predalina Happy Hour. The happy hour is every day from 3-5pm. I had never been for happy hour, and this guy raved about how good the burger was so I thought I'd make my first appearance here since it opened. What really caught my eye though was, "Room Service." You get two dirty martinis, Predalina Caesar, kalamata aioli, crispy fries all for $35. I have recently got into dirty martinis so I really enjoyed both of mine. Now for the food, I would skip the Caesar salad and the fries. You are literally served like an entire 5 pound bag of fries. The fries tasted fine, but I felt like it was enough fries for a family of 4. The salad was pretty bland and blah. I asked if next time substitute all of the food and trade it for a 3rd dirty martini. They said no. What a gip. There's no point of this "deal" when the food is barely eatable. I still really wanted to try the burger even after 5 pounds of fries. So I did end up getting the $16 Predalina Burger. The burger was totally worth it. Way better than Room Service. I thought the burger was on par with Boulon. I also tried an $18 Monkey Business. Not nearly a strong enough mezcal taste for me. The drink fell flat. I still don't see why anyone would come here over Boulon. I just don't get it. Now when you are inside it's like you're eating in the dark. Open the curtains. Let some light in. What in the world is management here thinking? You have to use the flashlight on your phone to find your way around at all. I might try this spot one more time, but I've never been impressed when coming here. There are just too many better options on Water St.

The menu isn't very typical, but the offerings themselves were interesting. We ordered the chicken, which was genuinely amazing and definitely the highlight of the meal. We also got the hummus. The hummus itself was good, but the portion was extremely large, and the pita bread that came with it was very thin and tasted a little stale. The French fries were really good. One thing they could improve on is the food presentation. Our plate had all the chicken piled on the bottom, fries on top, and the pita bread laid over everything, which felt a bit odd visually. The restaurant has a lot of potential, but the menu could benefit from being expanded a bit. There's also a mixed meat option on the menu priced at $200, which feels very high for the area. That said, the outside patio is really cute. If you do decide to come and try this place, I'd definitely recommend sitting outside.
