This is my second visit here for breakfast and I love that it's a little hidden spot of deliciousness. The staff was very helpful answering our questions and with anything we needed. You can tell this place was built with a lot of heart in it. My husband got the pastrami hash with scrambled eggs and said it was one of the best he's ever had. It was packed with flavor! I got the biscuits and gravy and I could've seriously licked my plate clean. I tried it on my list visit shortly after they first opened and thought it needed a little more salt. I ordered it again this time and they've perfected the recipe! I found it to be perfectly salted and they don't skimp on the portion and amount of gravy they give you. We also split the special - Cuban French toast. LOVED this! I'm not a big fan of thick bread so I appreciated this creation. Our 5 year old got the bacon eggs and toast and said that it was the best restaurant he's ever been to. I asked what he would rate it and he said "10 stars." I love supporting locally owned businesses and this has quickly become a favorite. The menu is simple and doesn't overwhelm you with a million options. Finally made it back to Country Store, and I'm glad I did. I went for their take on a Cuban sandwich -- and honestly, it was pretty good. Tampa is a major hub for Cubans, so I'm picky, but they held their own. Their version includes salami; my wife would've preferred lettuce and tomato, but that just shows how everyone has their own preference. I enjoyed it. The fries, though... absolute superstars. I didn't even realize they came with the meal. Shoestring style, savory, and ridiculously good. I'd go back just for those. Coffee came from Ragged, so shout‑out to a solid local brewer. My mother‑in‑law adored the place, which says a lot. Even though they don't technically have table service, two different employees came over to bring our food, plus the creamer and sugar for the coffee. Felt like royal treatment. So I will admit it is not cheap but if you've read my reviews or you follow me at all, I am a firm and honest believer of you get what you paid for and we got quality in our service and meal. Really cute little store. There is a small amount of seating inside and some picnic tables outside. They have some old fashioned candy I used to get as a child. The service was friendly. We ordered our food with the cashier, and a waitress brought over our meal. This place is gluten safe. They will make your food separately if it's an allergy. The fries are also shoe string and cooked in beef tallow. No other food goes in the fryer from what the cashier told me. They also have gluten free bread with a little up charge. We had to have lunch at this establishment one more time before leaving the area. This time we ordered the smash burger and the grilled chicken sandwich. Both was again delicious. They ran out of their chicken noodle soup so I had their onion soup which was just as amazing as their chicken noodle soup. Must try both. read more

Cute place. Parking can be confusing if you're not familiar or not slowing down quick enough to turn in. They have soups, salads, sandwiches and burgers. Sodas and teas. Tables for dining inside and outside. You order at the register and take a seat. They'll call your name when food is ready and they will bring to your table. They also clear the table. I got the clam chowder and hubs got the chicken soup. For 2 soups, tea and soda it was almost $30! I wouldn't say that the chowder was the best I've had and it needed some crackers. Hubs chicken soup needed salt. Place is clean and staff is nice. May come back to try a sandwich or burger. Or even the Cuban! read more

Decided to try this new place in Lutz. They have done a great job of remodeling the exterior and interior of the building. The parking lot has also been remodeled and their was adaquate parking. We showed up to late for breakfast and ordered off the lunch menu. I ordered the Pastrami on Rye with the cucumber salad. My wife ordered the BLT with the cucumber salad. The pastrami with melted swiss cheese was excellent. My wife also enjoyed the BLT which came on sourdough bread. It was a good lunch and we definitely will come back to try the breakfast menu! read more

Wow this place is good!! The food was so much better than I'd ever imagined. Local, hidden gem in lutz. I ordered the homemade tuna sandwich with fries and a cup of noodle soup and my husband ordered the pastrami sandwich. They were both delicious! One of the best tuna salad and pastrami I've ever had - no exaggeration! I don't really like mustard but that Dijon mustard with the beef was so yummy that I was surprised. We also split a rich and sweet chocolate milkshake - how can you mess up on that? We got the food to go and the food came out fairly quickly. I can't wait to go back! The store and cafe are definitely country themed. The store area is very small, but had some cute items. The star of the place is the food. My friends and I went for lunch, and selected the Cowboy Burger and the Patty Melt. Service was fast and friendly. The food is tasty and filling. Finally stopped in to Lutz Country Store and Cafe. I usually think about it on Wednesdays, but that's the one day per week that they're closed. Had lunch with my 12 year old son there today. We both had the Cuban Sandwich, mine with potato salad, his with fries. We each had a bottled Coca Cola with our meals. First, let me say that the store itself is VERY charming. Having spent quite a bit of time in true country stores in my life, the owners did a great job recreating that atmosphere. The employees were all friendly, considerate and professional. They had Pixie Sticks on the table, which I haven't had since I was a kid. My son had never had them, so he enjoyed that tasty sugar rush. :) Food came out about 10 minutes after ordering. The potato salad was a traditional, non-sweet recipe, and was very good. My son's fries were phenomenal. Perfectly seasoned. I grew up in the 70s and 80s, and spent A LOT of time in Ybor City visiting paternal grandparents, so I've eaten some fantastic Cuban Sandwiches from mom & pop diners that no longer exist. The sandwich came out looking beautiful. The roasted pork had a good flavor - a little on the salty side, but not overpowering. The ham and salami were also top-shelf. All in all, I'd have it again. The table next to us ordered the burger and also a BLT, and both looked amazing. Will come for breakfast the next time. read more

First time visit came for the smashburger did not disappoint. It was delicious. Perfectly cooked nice crip edges. The onion sauce was so good. I asked for some extra. Had the cucumber salad. Nice fresh. Very tasty service was great. Place is incredibly clean. Everything look totally modern scrubbed and well thought out. The parking is a bit janky but they're doing their best. It wasn't a problem. I could see how it would be on the weekends. Definitely coming back. Looking forward to making this a favorite place read more

The only drawback was very limited parking in the rear. There was no way to circle the building and getting in and out of the space was challenging.
