I recently tried Bean Bar Co. and it's quickly become one of my favorite local coffee spots. The quality of the coffee really stands out--everything tastes fresh, well-balanced, and clearly made with care. I ordered the egg and sausage croissant, and it was excellent. The croissant was warm and flaky, and the filling was flavorful without being too heavy--perfect for a quick breakfast or brunch. One of my favorite things they offer is the coffee flights. They're not only a fun way to try different drinks, but they're also presented really nicely, which makes the whole experience feel a bit more special. Very disappointed...old, burnt coffee for our Cuban coffees, two egg and cheese sandwiches that were not made well (like where's the cheese and the bagels were just ok), a really good chocolate chip cookie, and all for a mere $43.45???? Okay-ish place with 5 small tables and some other chairs. Food and drink is below average. I got an iced lavender latte but I think they heard "hold the lavender" cause there was absolutely no lavender flavor and the coffee was weak. I also got a bagel sandwich. It was very heavy and dense without any chewiness. I guess if you lower your expectation, this place is pretty good. Any place can *say good morning-this place *serves it. I quickly learned they had great parking and were easy to find (in The Pointe at Tampa Palms shopping center, with Red Lobster, Stonewood Tavern, Olive Garden, 7-Eleven and McDonalds) Off I went... into the happy looking storefront, to find the softest, tastiest plain bagel I've ever had (it was almost delicate and/or buttery!) and an absolutely divine hot chai tea latte. It was like drinking velvet-sooooo good. It's not big-but you don't want it to be. There's seating at the high counter, a couple of high tops, two or three tables and a love seat and easy chair. They offer breakfast sandwiches, specialty toasts- like avocado and peanut butter banana-plus all sorts of baked goods. Gosh, I so badly wanted to give this spot five stars, but they missed the mark today. We went in on Saturday morning at 9am and it was barely busy. They were out of decaf and out of nitro off the jump. From there, they gave us the wrong order and then got our orders wrong (my bacon on his sandwich, his sausage on mine). Such a cute spot with so much potential. The coffee was great (yes, I spent $17 on a flight because it was cute) and the sandwiches were also great. I'll definitely given them another shot to earn my business because there's SO MUCH potential here. read more

The line was about four people and moved slowly. Their board of offerings is perfectly laid out with lots of fun options. Latte and coffee. Hot and cold. Even some fun flavors with popular cereal. I went with the Reese's Puffs cereal coffee and a cheesecake filled donut that was stuff filled. The coffee actually had Reese's Puffs pieces in it! After about ten minutes of getting through the line we sat at the long bar area with a nice gentleman moving down so two of us could sit together. The entire time we were there only about two tables opened up. So be prepared to enjoy your coffee in your vehicle. This is one reason for the lower star rating. Luckily even though the place was packed the people were not overly loud so you could hear someone next to you. We were sitting next to the spot where all the coffees were being picked up so this was another factor as they announced the orders coming out There were about six orders in front of ours and it took about twenty minutes for the coffee and latte to come out, luckily together. The donut came out then too but the croissant was a few minutes later. This is not a good place to get your coffee if you are in a hurry. Another reason for the lower star rating. Parking can be a bit of a challenge as you get closer to the meal hour because this is next door to the popular Cali bowl restaurant, along with an all you can eat sushi restaurant. Best bet is to park down near Stonewood Tavern and walk a couple minutes. Overall a nice flavored coffee and donut. Might help if they had another person making the orders to speed things up. First of all, I rarely write 2 star reviews because I'm too nice (to a fault). I'm only rounding it up to a 3 because my drink was very good, and I didn't actually pay for it. It was an early birthday gift from my friend who bought a $15 for $30 voucher. I met her at The Bean Bar as a starting point to our fun-filled day of celebration. She always speaks very highly of their coffee truck. It ended up being a bad first impression for me. I mean seriously, how do you forget an order worth $30? What made it worse was my friend kept apologizing to me, and it wasn't even her fault. To make a long story short, only 1 item in the order was fulfilled (the ube latte). The rest of it was forgotten. I had a feeling something was wrong when 2 or 3 other customers who came in after us received their orders. I also observed that some people in line behind us were getting irritated. I could tell by their facial expressions. It was around 9:00 am in the morning, so it became quite a rush after we ordered. I realize mistakes happen, but I don't think we're the only ones who have experienced this based on other reviews. It just seemed very disorganized because they didn't use order numbers. They just call out your drink name. It could have been anyone's drink. My friend kept thinking she may have took another person's drink because there was no one at the pick up counter to confirm that it was her drink. On a good note, the matcha latte was delightful. It had a strong matcha taste with a yummy strawberry cream foam. It's one of their new summer drinks. It was a great pre-Birthday treat! Unfortunately, this was the first and last time for me. Let me start by saying I do love the Bean Bar Truck and have ordered from them a handful of times bc they are always in my neighborhood. I've been dying to come to their physical location and the perfect opportunity came when I saw they have a new Ube latte. Yes, I seriously came for it. So, coming by, I did like the coffee shop, they had some seats, tables, & bar seating. I saw they have a $15 for $30 voucher on Yelp. They also have a 20% off purchase on Yelp too. I figured I could use the voucher and use it for later if I didn't use up all the voucher on this first visit. Nope, it has to be used in one visit. That wasn't ideal for two people, but I just ordered more than I planned on ordering. I ordered a strawberry matcha drink for my friend, iced Ube latte for me, a waffle chicken sandwich, and red velvet gluten free donut. My drink was ready, but guess what the rest of the orders were forgotten. We noticed bc the rest of the people after us got their orders. My friend asked about her drink and they said they forgot it. I asked about my sandwich and donut and they said ok and then started prepping it. I would think this order would have had attention with it being a little bit bigger but it surely was swept under the rug if we didn't didn't say anything. My drink was meh!!! I was super excited to try out bean bar. I love the vibe of the coffee shop and the decor really makes it super cute. I decided to get the coffee flight because I wanted to see what all the hype was about and the names just didn't pair up well with what I was tasting. I also felt that it was more about the look of the flight than the taste. My friends and I are very outgoing people and we were a little taken aback when we didn't feel it reciprocated by the staff. I was in town for the Taylor Swift concert and thanks to social media, The Bean Bar was recommended to me as a place to visit. During the weekend, they were offering a Taylor Swift Latte Flight based on the colors of some of her songs and it was a must try when in town. Of course, I knew the place would be packed with other Swifts, but I had to go! When we arrived, the lot was pretty busy as they do share the lot with other small businesses in the plaza. The line was pretty long, and the Bean Bar was packed with so many people who were all also ordering these lattes. The atmosphere was so fun and the crowd was all just as excited as I was to be there. Once we ordered, we were lucky enough to get seats at the "coffee" bar where we could watch the baristas work their magic. I was amazed to see how well they worked together and how quickly they turned out the orders despite the craziness of the place. I was so excited to watch them to work their magic, especially when it was time to decorate the lattes! Everything was so pretty! After about 10 minutes, they were calling out our order number so we were able to enjoy our flight quickly and take photos! Obviously, our phone eats first! The next morning, I went in early (around 8 am) with my mom so that we could pick up a few different lattes to enjoy while we were getting our nails done. They made us some full size drinks and decorated them with sprinkles and whipped cream. I even needed a recommendation for some decaf options for my 2 nieces since we could not arrive empty handed. The barista behind the bar told us that we could get any of them as decaf which was great since I knew they would both like to have a fancy drink too! The service was great both times I visited and the coffee was tasty! My mom was even able to enjoy a caramel macchiato and said it was really good. Since I don't live in the area, I can't visit often....but I will definitely be back visiting my family again soon and plan to visit again. We came across this trendy, cool coffee bar while visiting Tampa. Great Atmosphere! The coffee bar is very cute and they have a variety of things to eat in different coffees to drink. I ordered a sangria tea for my son and it was perfect. I ordered myself an Americano with a pump of chocolate that was great. The service was good, and the coffee bar appeared very clean. They sell cool coffee related merchandise. You can sit and work or just chill and have conversation in this place. I wish I had more time to sit and chill but we had to leave. Probably need more outlets by the couches but there are outlets in cafe. It was very crowded at 1130ish on a weekday, I would assume because it is one of kind in its area, but surprisingly not obnoxiously loud or distracting if wanting to work. The staff is so nice. They knew the menu well, helped us decide on orders... the drink menu is large and for me, overwhelming. lol so much good stuff to try. We split the flight; which if you just want to try the fall drinks, it's great but if you need caffeine... get a flight for yourself or a regular sized drink. I suggest their cold brews! Unfortunately, I will not be returning until their water policy is revisited. I was informed by the barista that I could not receive a small cup of water alongside my $7 latte that I ordered, and instead would have to pay for a bottle of water. This place is such a cute little coffee gem! It's close to my son's school so I've stopped in a few times and then brought my sister Thanksgiving weekend. I love the lattes and they have a lot of flavor options to choose from. My favorite is the spiced brown sugar. I also got the coffee flight and love the option to try all the holiday flavors. The food is also really great. I've tried the breakfast croissant several times and it's so tasty. The croissant is always flaky and buttery, it is stuffed with filling (I get the sausage, egg, & gouda) and the aioli on it is so delicious! The service is good too. First introduced to this shop via a Yelp event and I loved it so much I just had to introduce our good friends! So we planned a breakfast trip and met up this morning. This is about a 30 minute drive from each of our homes but we'll worth the trip! Got there around 8am and we were the only customers. Walked right up and placed our order. I got the matcha latte with almond milk and sugar free vanilla along with egg bites. Hubs got the apple cinnamon tea and a bacon, egg and Gouda croissant. We raved about the croissants so much that our friends ordered the same. I swear they have the ABSOLUTE BEST matcha!! The egg bites were piping hot and yummy. The croissant didn't have Gouda like e we ordered, it appeared to have cheddar but still delicious. The egg was also cooked a bit too much this time around. I prefer it to be a bit runny. Super cute coffee shop in Tampa Palms! The store has a great "your neighborhood coffee shop" ambience and the staff are incredibly friendly! They are happy to discuss drinks and recommendations and do not make your feel rushed! They have a large menu, that includes coffee flights, seasonal drinks and teas. I got the hot americano and it was delicious! They have a lot of non-coffee options, including matcha, teabella teas, and even fancy chocolate milk, so it definitely would be a great spot to take those who don't prefer coffee (while you get your caffeine hit:) They do have some gluten free options, like chia seed pudding (made with oat milk) and oats, but unfortunately I cannot eat oats so I couldn't give them a try. But very happy for my other gluten free friends that they have options! They also have oat, almond, soy and coconut milks for those with allergies. Definitely worth a stop! read more

I'd rather say I really like this place. The mocha is definitely the way I like it (sweet and bitter at the same time and a heavy amount of caffeine). The place has that traditional backspace, and is completely packed due to the amount of people that come in and out. The place also has the hippie turned business profiter feel which is funny. There are signs saying no outside food (why would someone bring outside food is the question) and a 20 minute limit on sitting there (I'm here for a drink, and if I stay longer it's because of the company not your place). But, this is your standard hipster place, as a corporate businessman who doesn't really care that they have their pretentious signs, I'll keep enjoying my chuckle as I walk in, and buy a $6 latte, but, at the same time I know some people who get offended easily will be offended by their signs. The one thing I'll dock them a star for (I could have done more) is they're very slow at making their items. It's like they need to take a break every order, and as someone who has equity in quite a few coffee shops, I'd say they'd get more customers if they just spend up by 50%, and didn't spend half the time chatting on how unhappy they are (classic hipster turned profiteer). After getting my haircut at Great Clips, I was going to FW for my usual pancakes. However, I felt like mixing it up, so i decided to look for any new breakfast places. Lo, I found The Bean Bar (The name sounds like it work for a Mexican restaurant ) TBB is located in the plaza with Koizi and CALI near to Olive Garden and Stonewood. It is a small cafe with some nice murals on the wall. There is a white tile motif. It has a very distinctive interior; I feel like it was ripped out of Seminole Heights only with better parking (Zing) I decided to try an Irish Nutcase hot drink (espresso with Irish Cream) and a Croissant Sandwich with egg, bacon, and Garlic aoli. Note: I'm a novice coffee drinker. I only drink it during Nov.-Feb. bc its cold and I usually get lighter or flavored brews. The drink was reminiscent of Buddy Brew coffee and was pretty strong, but not overly strong like many of Starbucks drink. Usually I have to go to the bathroom 1 hr after drinking java , but after 20 minutes, I was ready lol. Still, I'm sure the coffee will be a good pick me up for most MURRICANS! 4/5 The Croissant sandwich was awesome. It was a good size and the eg/bacon was nicely cooked. What put it over the bar was the garlic aoli. The flavor just jumped over the drawbridge with that! They have bagels/muffins/avocado toast and other items , but it seems their emphasis is on coffee as it cannot compete with First Watch et al in terms of number of pure food items. 5/5 The two ladies were nice and I got my order within 5-10 minutes. My husband and I love Bean Bar's coffee truck and were excited to try the new brick & mortar. Overall, friendly experience and wonderful coffee. What we ordered: large iced cappuccino with hazelnut flavor, toasted everything bagel & cream cheese, croissant breakfast sandwich with gouda, turkey bacon and egg. The coffee was sweetened just enough. I hate overly sweet coffee. Lol. There's no bitterness to their coffee which was wonderful and even my coffee hating husband was like wow this is good LOL.
