I'm happy they opened a second location in The Heights which is much closer to me than Davis Island. My favorite is their DI breakfast sandwich with the egg, cheese, tomato, and onion on Cuban toast. So good! The coffee shop is cute; I go there often for coffee dates with my husband, and meetups with friends or colleagues. It's pet-friendly too. Many locals bring their dogs there. They also sell cute little games for game nights, candles, some jewelry and cute cards. They do get busy in the mornings rush, so expect to wait a while for your coffee esp on a weekend.

Drink menu. At some point I need to find out what some of this is!

How are there no reviews here yet?? It's been absolutely hopping since its grand opening! I'm not familiar with their Davis Islands location so I'm going in fresh. As a Seminole Heights resident, I'm always happy to welcome new businesses into the neighborhood and I'm ESPECIALLY happy to see a new coffee shop. I've now had a few lattes and they're absolutely delicious. There's just something about a good, fresh latte brewed from actually good beans and a really nicely made syrup that Dunkin and Starbucks just can't compete with. I also had one of their giant, homemade cinnamon rolls. I kind of laughed when they offered me a fork and knife but no, definitely take it because these things are massive. It was delicious! The service was great. You can tell they're still getting their feet under them but even at the busiest I've seen them, they were quick and friendly and didn't look as frazzled as I would have been! The parking lot is probably the only thing anyone can ding them for. Anyone who's familiar with the area knows its a really weird spot. There's no lines down but you CAN park right in front. You are also able to park in front of the church across the street. Beware of school zones! Seminole Heights Elementary is right across the street and the school zone starts about 7am. Prime coffee time but still worth it - just watch for small people getting their education! I also really appreciate the merchandise options. Several fun books, candles, and other things from local businesses that you can buy and enjoy. Overall, really enjoyed the times I've been and cant wait for many more!

Made a quick pitstop here for a coffee on a Saturday. It's definitely reminiscent of the DI location- smaller, but cute and they sell some of the iconic goodies/greeting cards/etc. If you prioritize housemade syrups in your coffee, vanilla and simple are the only options. The line moved quickly and the baristas were super friendly and helpful.

Cuban sandwich and iced vanilla latte - both delicious!

Such a perfect addition to the neighborhood! I popped in to grab a snack, a coffee, and get some work done and it was divine. The coffee shop is super cute and has a little section of some local goodies you can buy. The coffee itself was delicious and so was the Cuban sandwich I ordered! I was pleasantly surprised. It is a little smaller place, but they still have a good amount of seating available. Also very friendly staff. I was sitting at one of their two outdoor tables and a lovely gentleman, who I presume is one of the owners, brought me a little sample of some crumb cake to try and it was unreal. Can't wait to go back! Welcome to the neighborhood DI coffee bar

We asked the cashier for recommendations and he mentioned the Pork Drizzler and Billy Cheesesteak. We ordered those and a side of fries. I asked for mushrooms on the side for the cheesesteak. Portions are generous so we decided to split both sandwiches. Our favorite was the Billy. The Drizzler was juicy and tasty but the Billy hit it out of the park. The fries were thick and salted just right. I will add that the service here was exceptional. Will definitely be back next time in Tampa!

I'm a foodie, and I make it a point to try new places. My wife dragged me to this place and sweet Jesus thank you for the blessing! The service is great, two guys running the place the day we went, one was the owner. Great story on how it started. The ambiance is chill, they have a tv playing sports, the day I went it was the Olympics and then soccer. Right down the street from Raymond James Stadium on the back street. The place is very comfortable and clean. Try the South Tampa sandwich. Best Cuban you will ever get.

The first time I came was right after that article, and there were about 50 people in line, so I left. This Saturday I stopped by at around noon, and I was third in line. WARNING: do not be in a rush! Your food is not coming out quickly. Paulie is a sweetheart, but he is a one-man show, and he likes to chat and get to know all his customers. They currently do not carry the full menu they show online, so I went with a Chicago hot dog, and the Italian beef sandwich. Paulie educated me a bit on the sandwich; if I wanted it juicy (with the sauce already on it) or on the side to dip into (yes, please, I'm a dipper), and how spicy I wanted it (more peppers, less peppers). After a nice chat with Paulie about politics, I headed home and dug in. The Chicago hot dog was perfect, although I had to remove the hot peppers. The sandwich was outstanding; the beef so tender, the peppers and onions adding depth, and the roll was so soft-I could only eat half, but the other half heated up nicely for dinner. Can't wait to go back!

Excellent other choices like a plentiful Pastrami sandwich which can also be made as a Reuben. Friendly service from a real Chicago native & veteran housed in an adjacent building (not a food truck) to a gas station - gives a dive vibe but is great for to-go. This is a lunch only (11a-2p) business 6 days, closed SUN. Very limited outdoor seating and service can be slow because he's mainly a one man show (occasionally has a helper), BUT the deliciousness of the mostly Vienna products are well worth the wait! You can also call ahead for better timed service but that hinges on him not being too busy to answer. Pro Tip food choice: his 'Best of Both Worlds' gets you a Chicago dog & a 5" Italian beef for a sizable discount!
