    DIRTY THAIGER makes me rooaaaaaarrr!
    Jeff N.

Blind Tiger was a nice find on South Howard Avenue about a 10-minute walk from the Epicurean Hotel in a very swanky area of South Tampa. Needing a good coffee fix can be a challenge when you don't know where to look. Fortunately we found when I was desperately seeking and performed a Yelp check to discover this location was down the street from where we are at the moment. Location-wise, the interior is bright and spacious, with its theme of tigers abound. It is quite comfortable, friendly, and welcoming to all, while producing some delicious coffee. Fortunately my money, both the cold brew and nitro cold brew were excellent selections that give me my needed boost. I had the opportunity to order the Dirty Thaiger, an intensely orange iced Thai coffee beverage that is intense, but with a balance of sweetness and nutmeg spice. But beware of its condensation, if you get any on you, it will stain. Additionally, they have delectable sandwich options, especially for breakfast. I enjoyed a croissant sandwich that included eggs, bacon, and greens that were very magical. The cheese danish was additionally very delectable, sweet, and satisfying. We were pleased to find a terrific coffee spot in the South Tampa area that is walking distance from the Epicurean. When we stay again, we will be return. Breakfast Sandwich | Cheese Danish

I always try to find local coffee shops while traveling. We were in Tampa for my birthday and stopped in Blind Tiger both mornings. Great spot to hang out and enjoy your coffee. It was busy (popular) but the baristas were cranking out food and drinks quickly.

I have only been to Blind Tiger twice now, but each experience has been great. On my latest visit I wanted to try a latte with a certain flavor profile and the barista was happy to try to make that for me. She let me know if it didn't taste right that she would make me something else however it was perfect. This location has a lot of different areas you can sit, a little lending library, merch, a printer, and more. I love that they use Monin syrups too. This is definitely somewhere I will stop by if I am in the area!

Coffee was incredible! Vibes are so cute inside, the people were friendly, and it was so easy to order. Definitely going to become a regular at this place.

I'm giving this four stars because of the adorable details of the venue. I very quickly popped into the Blind Tiger to just check another coffee shop off my list. Still trying to find my favorite in the Tampa Bay Area. I ordered an iced vanilla lavender coffee with almond milk. As I was waiting, I slowed down (amazing how that happens) and actually paid attention to the spot I was in. They have a couple set ups that seem "instagramable" for younger folks looking for that. But the real "aw" moment took place when I noticed the Polaroid photos of the dogs that have visited on the wall. They also have a take a book, leave a book library and it made my heart happy. Most important, the staff seemed as though they were thoroughly enjoying each other's company. Laughing and bantering as they made drinks. Seating was limited but there were tables of all sizes. Parking across the street in a small lot at 1PM on a Saturday was available (that said, the lot was definitely busy). Street parking is also available. I'm very grateful for the quick stop, I walked in probably with more urgency and stress in my mind and walked out less than 10 minutes later with a pretty good coffee and lighter heart. I'll check it out again in the near future.

Best coffee shop to me out of the ones I tried in Tampa/St Petes. The breakfast sandwich I would also recommend. Service was professional and the wait wasn't long. Ambiance is cute and there is seating inside.

    Mugs for sale!

From the moment you step into this charming haven, you'll be glad you arrived. Everything here is simply excellent, but let me tempt you with (my) star of the show: the croissant breakfast sandwich. Imagine a flaky, golden croissant, perfectly toasted to a delicate crisp--just enough to give you that satisfying crunch without sacrificing its buttery, melt-in-your-mouth tenderness. Fluffy scrambled eggs, blanketed by warm, rich, melted cheddar cheese that oozes with every bite, mingling with the fresh, crisp lettuce and juicy, ripe tomato. A drizzle of aioli sauce adds that final touch of indulgence, making this savory breakfast treat an absolute dream IMHO. You can choose to sit indoors, surrounded by the chic orange, black, and white decor, or step outside to enjoy the fresh air. And don't miss the fun challenge of finding the whimsical tiger tail hidden in plain view! But honestly, this delightful spot offers so much more than just breakfast sandwiches. Their menu is a treasure trove of deliciousness, featuring vibrant açai bowls that are as beautiful as they are; tasty, flaky pastries that practically melt in your mouth; and flatbreads that are both creative and satisfying. The Cuban sandwiches? Pure perfection! Now, let's talk about the coffee--the best. Each cup is crafted with care, using only the freshest beans. Whether you're in the mood for a rich espresso, a frothy cappuccino, or a smooth iced latte, you're in for a treat. And the best part? You can pour your own creamer, tailoring each sip to your exact taste. And if you take coffee out enough, you know the lid is always suspect. Blind Tigers's lids are upper class. They stay on. They're sturdy and they don't fall off when you lift the cup! This delightful little gem also welcomes your furry friends! Fun IG spots if you want to take one with your fur friends, and a little lending library. Super cute If you haven't had the pleasure of visiting yet, make it a point to stop by--whether you're a local or just passing through, this spot is worth every moment. Supporting small businesses is crucial, especially in this season of giving. Let's invest in our neighborhoods and enjoy the unique charm they bring! P.S. What a shocker! All their employees are happy.

Such a cute cafe in the SOHO area. Perfect place to escape the heat and to get some work or studying done. Free WiFi. Lots of seats and places to work. They got sandwiches, pastries, breakfast, and all kinds of teas and coffees. I love matcha and they had a summer special with a hint of coconut in the matcha and it was really good! Not sweet which is how I prefer my matcha! They give milk preference without extra costs too! I got oat milk without an extra cost! They have a wall of dog pictures which means it is a dog friendly cafe and I wish I had brought my dog to get a picture snapped of him to put on the wall! So precious service is excellent and efficient. Parking is free for 2 hours in the back parking garage with a validation code.

    Breakfast tacos

I can't help but say I was a little disappointed with their "signsture" drink. It's expensive, and pretty looking but quite overrated. The breakfast tacos were quite delicious. I wasn't expecting much and I truly enjoyed the food. The ambiance here is ok. It's a modern, trendy place for people to throw money at lackluster coffee. The bathrooms were kinda gross. Overall, I'd say don't join the cult. They have nice shirts and cups and mugs, etc. But really, you should be coming to a place like this for good coffee of which you will be drastically overpaying for.

    The new space.

The restaurant was very clean and had such a cozy, welcoming vibe, making it the perfect spot to sit back and enjoy a great breakfast. I ordered the Lumberjack, and everything came out great. The eggs were cooked perfectly and placed on top of the mashed potatoes--not cooked together--but honestly, it still worked really well and tasted amazing. One thing I really liked is that you can sub the biscuit for French toast or pancakes. I chose the French toast, but the Lumberjack is so much food that it was honestly hard to even get to it . Everything was delicious, and I'd give this place a 10 out of 10--I'll definitely be back. Shoutout to our waitress Sienna, who was absolutely amazing. She was super friendly, recommended a bunch of great options, and made deciding easy. She checked on us often and even brought out a new syrup they make for us to try, which was so good. A full service bar and restaurant on one side and a lounge type atmosphere on the other side with a live DJ. They play a variety of rnb and hip hop from old school to modern day. I really had a nice time. The reason only 4 stars was due to the host not being actively present at the reception area when you walk in. He was too busy on the lounge side dropping it like it was hot and helping the bottle girls "hold" the sign. We stood at the host stand upon entry for a while until someone went to get him from the other side. The food was just "ok". For the price of the food I expected more. I had the lemon pepper honey wings and the chicken and French toast. The wings were not cooked through and served in a bowl which made it very difficult to eat. It came with 2 cornbread muffins that were dense and very dry. The French toast was great. I opted for the one with peaches and icing. It was great. It was served with chicken tenders. Again, in a bowl, which made it very difficult to cut, as I had to dig in the bowl. They were ok, a little on the dry side, the breading was falling off but they were edible. The drinks were flowing and the vibe was good. No complaints there. Would I go back??? Yes, I'll probably try something different on the menu. I feel like if the service was a bit better, more attention to detail on the food and the plating of food was different it would have earned 5 stars. But I had an overall nice time.
