This place is such a cool vibe. Chill music bumping, very friendly and helpful owner who let us try a bunch of flavors! The ice cream was very light - hits the craving and doesn't make you feel like shit. It's made from sea moss, dates and coconut milk, like how??!!! And it tastes good!!!! I got the chocolate with chocolate spread on top and it was not overpowering at all. There was cute seating patio outside with lights and tables - I'm sure it's fantastic in the summer. We are totally coming back again tomorrow! Such a cool unique find. read more

I took a road trip out here this last month and it is an awesome business to support. The owner had great energy, helpful, informative. Seriously obsessed! I will come back every time I am in Tampa. Vegan and gluten free everything! Also seed oil free!! The owner was so helpful and patient. They have items to go as well as a menu. If you're looking for a healthy dessert option, Coco Lov should be your next stop! The lady working was so kind and gave a sample of anything I wanted. Prices were extremely fair. The ice cream is gluten free and mostly dairy free. It's definitely a different consistency, and is definitely lighter on the stomach, especially for a late night dessert. Simone was so kind to me and enthusiastic to have me sample as much as she wanted me to try. I got a savory item- the pumpkin soup warmed up and a sweet, the classic vanilla ice cream scoop. I know both of these options may look boring on the offset, but let me tell you, both of my picks were sooo flavorful and delicious. I was shocked by the flavors with such minimal ingredients, but thats exactly what makes Coco Lov so special. If you're nondairy or not, you have to come try this place out. I got a punchcard, because I think we know... But i can't wait to try even more flavors and items that are being offered here. You haven't experienced a quaint spot like this anywhere else in Tampa. My friend and I came for the coconut milk based ice cream. We left with coconut water, sugar cane, sea moss, and to-go ice cream as the owners indulged our curiosity. So, we also left educated about their varieties of coconuts and teff from Ethiopia. What this place is: Definitely an ice cream, dessert, and treats place for the health conscious person who wants to put nutritious food into their body. Healthy and vegan dairy free ice cream has been an elusive dream for me, but look no further! This place does the trick! These guys are all natural, non-GMO, plant-based, gluten-free, dairy-free, refined sugar free, no additives, artificial flavors, preservatives, or gums. I got the double chocolate and the coconut ice cream (after tasting almost half the store), and got it on top of a teff waffle (which apparently is like this Ethiopian low glycemic grass grain?). The combo was great. The homemade hazelnut chocolate sauce on top was a total slam-dunk - that made the dish complete. I would NOT miss out on the hazelnut sauce if you go! What this place is NOT - a place to get normal ice cream. I wouldn't say it tastes exactly like normal ice cream and waffles. The mouthfeel is a little less creamy than normal ice cream. But it definitely tastes amazing and it tastes like you're eating real food. I mean, I scarfed it down. You can find "healthy", "vegan" and "sugar-free" frozen ice cream out there but if you look at the ingredients, it is still packed with sugar, processed ingredients, alcohols, gums, aspartame, and other junk. Great small place, so happy was able to get there. The lady who works there was super nice and friendly. Location is very convenient as well. They have all vegan, no added sugar desserts, including ice creams. Definitely not something you can find everywhere. It's very low key and cool place with some seating outside if you need to have more specs. You can also seat inside. We had chocolate ice cream and chocolate cake. I loved it very much. I originally went here as part of the Yelp event, but since I ended up buying my own anyway I decided to leave my review here instead! For the event, I ended up trying a bite of almost all the flavors here so I can confidently say that even if you're not a big fan of vegan ice cream, you won't find flavors like these anywhere else. The sweet potato-y one especially really stuck out to me, but the stracciatella and magic vanilla were my favorites so I ended up with those. Overall, they were super refreshing, and I unfortunately forgot the reason it's called magic vanilla but trust me it actually tastes like it. I can see people who've only had normal, dairy ice cream being a little bit weirded out by the texture of the kind they serve here, it is much more sorbet-like and grainy, but you can't deny that it's way healthier. Walking in, the place smells really, really good and I wasn't expecting the name to be taken so literally-- there's actual coconuts in every nook and cranny. The lady at the counter was super passionate about the all-natural ingredients they use, including those that are gluten-free and lack any kind of preservatives, which I'm all for so if that sounds like something you're into definitely give this place a try! read more

Well...I'm obsessed. Most people would call me strict, or picky, or annoying about how intentional I am with what I consume. For me, it's a matter of feeling good everyday I wake up. Living with an autoimmune disorder means paying more attention to what I eat because it affects my everyday. Do I miss certain sweets? Of course! But at the end of the day, there's almost always an alternative, and Coco N'Ice is one of them. The owner Simone healed herself of Hashimoto through a raw vegan diet, and ultimately made it her mission to show real, raw, delicious vegan dishes to the world. It's true, folks! You can enjoy your sweets while not feeling terrible, we promise!!! I tried four different flavors: chocolate, pumpkin, pistachio, and soursop. I also tried Simone's cacao spread, which is basically a nutritious, no-BS nutella spread. It's REALLLLLLY GOOOOOD. I went with the chocolate and bought a jar of the spread too. And I'll admit, when I got home, I opened the jar and ate a spoonful... because it was that good. Also to note if you're a cone person, the cones they have are gluten free!! A passion of mine personally is educating people close to me on how they can make simple swaps to elevate their physical and mental well-being. This, my friends, is one of them. Does it taste like Ben and Jerry's? No, so go in with an open mind and an open stomach -- taste the raw beauty that is homemade coconut milk ice cream sweetened with dates. Think about how you're consuming a product that will agree with your stomach. Some of Simone's flavors even have supplements in them with health benefits like Spirulina, Saffron, Turmeric, and more! Everything she makes, she makes with intention and it's remarkable. My boyfriend and I came here about a year ago and I never wrote a review. The ice cream is all homemade and the owner told us about her fascination with coconuts! You can tell she is a very kind person at heart and honestly, it was a pleasure to eat the ice cream that she hand crafts. Everything tasted REAL! It's also a plus that she's open so late at night. Somehow, the vibe inside the ice cream shop reminded me of my home in Dominican Republic. It was probably the coconuts! Anyways, it was such a treat to meet the owner, learn her ethos, and try her delicious ice cream. I recommend getting ice cream on one of the waffles she offers. I came here a few weeks ago with my boyfriend and we loved it! He got a scoop of passionfruit and a scoop of raspberry in a waffle cone and I got a scoop of stracciatella and pistachio in a waffle cone with a caramel drizzle. I tried a couple other flavors too and everything was delicious! A very healthy dessert alternative to so much sugar and added stuff. It's a small shop and the service was friendly. I'm so happy I got to try Coco N'Ice. I've driven past the store a few times and have always wanted to stop in. I was instantly welcomed by the owner and she gave us a description of how all the food she makes is made with coconut and dates. Everything on the menu is raw and vegan. She provided us with plenty of samples of ice cream, all the flavor were super unique and flavorful. My favorite was the golden mylk, it reminded me of pumpkin spice in ice cream form. I ordered it in a cone drizzled with her homemade Nutella. It was delicious, every bite was more delicious than the first. I was so sad when I ate the last bite. Their slogan; "The Nutrition with a Good Conscience". In speaking with the owner herself, just because it's vegan it doesn't have to taste different. They offer delicious homemade ice cream flavors free of sugar & additives, Smoothies, Plant based shakes, Bliss balls, Açaí Bowls amongst so much more. Her shop is super cute, quaint and very clean. She allowed me to taste most of her flavors available. I chose Pistachio in a Charcoal flavored waffle cone and also brought home a delicious Tiramisu cake and few Bliss balls. I also bought the sea moss from Jamaica (which I have been trying to find in stores) and it was so great & fresh. From the moment I walked in, Simone was warm & kind, and extremely knowledgeable on all of the healthy & fabulous ingredients on items she served. Customer service was all around top-notch. This is the BEST hidden gem in tampa. The owner is nice woman who runs it all basically by herself. I've been vegan for 17 years and raw for 4 years and Coco Love is by far one of my favorite places in the world for amazing raw vegan desserts! I got the German cake and Tiramisu to-go. I ate chocolate and vanilla ice cream with fresh chocolate sauce! Tasted like swirl ice cream! The cakes are bomb and the ice cream is sooooo delicious. Meet the Business Owner: Simone I.

Simone Ilic, founder of Coco Lov, spent 27 years as a flight attendant exploring global cultures. After being diagnosed with Hashimoto’s disease following her daughter’s birth, she sought natural healing and discovered the benefits of selenium in coconuts. Embracing a whole-food lifestyle, she regained her health and became a certified holistic health coach and raw vegan chef. Inspired to share her journey, Simone created “the healthiest ice cream in the world,” made with fresh coconut milk and dates. In May 2021, she opened Coco Lov in Tampa, Florida, where her commitment to natural ingredients and wellness continues to thrive.

It wasn't busy and they let them have as many samples as they wanted to ensure their satisfaction once they ordered their "pilot" (single scoop) of icecream. Mayday Ice Cream has fun and funky flavors like lavender tea, parent trap (Oreo cookies and peanut butter add ins) and more! The establishment was clean and well maintained. The staff went over and above, really making the experience special. They even offered to go containers and a foil bag to help keep the ice cream from melting when my kids felt full. Now that's above and beyond service imo. Please stop by and give this establishment some love. Because they are definitely doing it right.

Once inside, the atmosphere is just as impressive, and thankfully the food, drinks, and service live up to the hype. My dad and I started with the Gator Tail appetizer. We tried the Candied Maple Bacon Ice Cream and the Bourbon Butter Cake. The ice cream wasn't really my favourite; I thought the cornflakes were a bit of a strange addition, but my dad enjoyed it. The Bourbon Butter Cake, on the other hand, was delicious and a great way to finish off the meal. Between the beautiful setting, excellent food, great drinks, and friendly service, it's easy to see why Ulele is such a popular Tampa destination. Second - fried zucchini balls. While I did like them, I wish they were smaller so the inside was a little more cooked. Third - Creamy Tomato Vodka Pasta - yummy with a bit of kick! This was my favorite food item. Fourth - Queen Stella Margherita pizza. Surprisingly, this was my least favorite item. We got it thin-crust, and while it looked good, it was served completely cold, and the flavor can only be described as cardboard-like. I would definitely try another pizza here, but not this one. My friends also split an order of meatballs, which they loved. While they had wine for dessert, I had a piece of limoncello cake for dessert. It was fantastically lemony and moist, which I loved. Their parking lot is valet only, but fortunately you only have to pay the $6 fee Fri-Sun, so we just had to tip the very friendly valet.

(which I'm ok with because they make sure the tuna is fresh) I have gotten the shrimp and mushroom rice platter before and it is very tasty as well. My husband loves their Bahn Mi sandwiches- he tries a different one every time and always is very satisfied! If you are in downtown Tampa, I would suggest you definitely check out Fusion Bowl.
