My fourth visit to Daily Eats was again wonderful! I will go back again and again. Since I moved here almost two years ago, I have decided this has to be my favorite. The wait staff is always friendly and the food is wonderful. Eating outside is my preference. The "Home Fries" are the best. I could eat them for the meal, but breakfast or lunch I've never been disappointed, but delighted! Any omelet, pancake, or toast. Sandwiches are great. The facility is much smaller than I anticipated, but the staff was incredibly friendly and everything was very clean. Parking isn't the best, so I recommend going early. Everything we ordered was amazing -- from the French toast to the steak bowl and fiesta bowl. The blueberry pancakes were so good you wouldn't even know they're gluten-free. My husband and I were looking for a breakfast place this morning that had healthier options and breakfast meat that wasn't pork. Daily Eats checked these boxes with their omelets and bowls! They offer chicken and turkey sausage which is a huge plus for us since we do not eat pork. We both loved our food- the eggs were cooked perfectly and the add ins we chose were great. My husband really enjoyed his iced chai latte as well! Our server was attentive and even offered me an iced tea to go which was nice! The place is small but gives those diner vibes- the outdoor seating is also narrow but nice to have the option to sit outside. Our one drawback was the price- it was $60 for our breakfast for 2. The bowls are great but by the time you have the add on fees for each topping it quickly becomes spendy. Cool little breakfast spot. I used to go there a lot when I lived in Tampa. They took my favorite dish off the menu (The Broad Street Bully). I just had a Patty Melt this time. It was amazing. Perfectly cooked. The beef tasted amazing. As goofy as it sounds. It was very beefy! Service is great. Also. I'm not sure where their coffee comes from but it's top quality and amazing! read more

This is a cute SOHO spot right in the center of it all. The food was very good however slightly too salty for me, I think most people would think it's fine, I personally like less salty. The tater tots were perfectly crispy and I got the fresh orange juice and that was fantastic. The servers are great and very attentive despite how busy the location is. When we got here for a party of 6 we were told it would be a 35 minute wait but it ended up being closer to 10 minutes. This gluten-free lady's heart and tummy are full! Those pancakes are fabulous...seriously. The cinnamon and vanilla flavors are perfect. This is such a fun breakfast spot in Tampa. The inside has a really unique diner feel and the staff is super friendly. It definitely can get a bit crowded, but the food and service are worth the wait. On a recent visit I ordered the daily cakes with fresh strawberries (love that they come freshly sliced). I'm not usually one to order something sweet for breakfast, but the pancakes are gluten free and so yummy! They have both indoor and outdoor seating with limited parking, but I have parked down the street and walked over with no problems. read more

I stopped here on my way home from Orlando for brunch. They are located down town Tampa, so parking is a little scarce. It was busy, and that's always a great sign, and I was told it would be a 25min wait, which turned into 5min instead of 25. I had the Captain Crunch French toast slices that came with a bowl of fruit. They were very tasty, but was a little confused that the Captain Crunch flavor didn't pop out as much, but it gave great texture. Best local spot in Tampa for fast, delicious casual breakfast in a cute homey joint. Service was extremely friendly -- shoutout to our server Morgan for her impeccable service and kindness. She let us know our iced coffees had free refills and gave us two more coffees in to-go cups before leaving! The GOAT omelette with goat cheese and spinach was perfect - wouldn't change a thing. Do not sleep on this place!!! It looks so unassuming from the outside but wow it is so good. I never find gluten free chicken tenders anywhere so I was so excited they had them here, and they did not disappoint! I have been to daily eats before, but after my meal today, I had to leave a review because it was just that good! I got the chicken tenders and upgraded to bacon cheesy tots. This may sound like a basic meal but it was delicious. I am sometimes hesitant to get tots because if they wre soggy they arent good, but these were crispy and flavorful and the cheese and bacon on top was amazing. Definitely try the daily eats sauce with it, it was sweet and tangy and perfect with the salted chicken and tots. Warning though, it is small and gets busy, everytime I have been I have had to wait at least a few minutes, especially for indoor seating. read more

Absolutely love this gem in South Tampa. Jessie was our amazing server/coolest dude. We sat at the counter stools and had the best breakfast. When i walked in the hostess were having a full conversation that seemed flirtatious and before acknowledging me and the group of people i was with they waited until they were done with there conversation. We got sat and our waiter was very very sweet. The manager was also very rude when we asked for a to-go box he gave an attitude and rolled his eyes then when we're walking out we overheard him being nasty to another customer. Had a great brunch here one afternoon before they closed. I sat outside to enjoy the nice weather. Tessa was a great server and had a great smile. This was my first time dining here and she was very patient and explained anything I needed to know. The coffee was good and my omelette was delicious. Several years ago, our son introduced us to The Daily Eats. Now, whenever we're in the area, we stop in for a wonderful meal. The ambiance is diner-like, which we love, with outdoor dining too. Our waitress was very pleasant and efficient. A fun thing about The Daily Eats is their T-shirts and mugs. They have a coffee pot with a heart picture and say, "Pothead" on them. Being honest it's a little too loud for me, but most diners are! I got the two egg breakfast (TOGO) with my eggs over medium, sourdough toast and FF (they were out of their tater tots) plus added bacon. I also asked for sliced tomato and lettuce on the side which I was charged for and didn't receive. When I called back to let them know the girl was so nice and said the manager would take care of it for me. Love the theming of the restaurant. It has a very cute 50's style to it and it makes the restaurant environment very welcoming. People here were very nice, and service was great. I ordered the sweet soul overnight oats and it was supper yummy. I would definitely recommend ordering this if you are looking for a healthier breakfast option. That being said, it was less light overnight oats and more like cold oatmeal, and if you don't mix everything when you dig in then the first few bites will be very sweet because of the honey topping. Daily Eats is hands down one of the best places to eat in Tampa. I have been here multiple times and have always had a great meal or experience. It has a cute aesthetic with a small-town diner vibe, but it can get busy very quickly. I have only been here once when there was no waiting, so arrive early. There are no reservations or call ahead. I tried the cheese melt for the first time, which was delicious! It was packed and pressed so it didn't fall apart. The onions were caramelized, the cheese was gooey, and the beef patties were freshly pressed and seasoned well. I also ordered a Captain Crunch pancake, perfect for my sweet tooth. Each bite had crunchy cereal coated in pancake batter. It was perfect with some fresh butter and warm syrup. Although I didn't order them this time, the sweet potato fries are also amazing! The only drawback is that the parking lot fills up quickly, so arrive early to find a spot. Otherwise, you will have to circle for a while or go down the street and pay for parking. read more

finally had a chance to stop in here over a weekend recently for brunch. there was a bit of a wait but it wasn't too bad considering how packed they were. servers were friendly and efficient, but it was a bit hard to get refills of coffee etc since it was super busy. ultimately we cut our visit short because service wasn't great. the food was okay. not bad but i'm not sure it was worth it, possibly because it was super hyped up. i had the signature cap'n crunch dish which was tasty but not knock-your-socks-off. i honestly forget what my friend got as this was a couple of weeks ago but they weren't that satisfied with their experience either. also, like i said, it was packed. we were crammed in like sardines and it was SO loud. not the fault of the restaurant or staff, but it was super overstimulating. i had like a foot max of space between me and the diners on either side of me, we were on the bench row of tables against the wall, and we could hardly hear ourselves think let alone talk to each other. i felt cramped and rushed and it was difficult to enjoy the experience. read more
